We enjoyed it very much. The pool was a hit. We felt at home. Sofy was always attentive, ready to help, and very prompt in contacting us and providing instructions. She welcomed us, gave us a tour of the property, and gave us clear instructions for our stay. An excellent place to be surrounded by nature in a safe and friendly environment. My family was happy, my dog was free, and he also looked happy. The house comes with everything you need to spend a few quiet days, comfortable beds. An ideal place to disconnect from everyday life and connect with your loved ones. The beach is amazing. You can get there on foot and also in a high-clearance vehicle or 4x4, but it's worth it. By car, at a leisurely pace, it should take about 10-15 minutes (I forgot to check the mileage). On foot, it takes about 35-40 minutes, with ups and downs.

Excellent place in the middle of the jungle to disconnect. 🍃 As the host mentions, the arrival is a little difficult if you don't have a 4x4 vehicle, but once there you can enjoy nature a lot. We saw many butterflies 🦋, fireflies 💡🪲, birds 🐦, frogs 🐸, and many insects 🕷️🐛🐞. Be careful because we found several scorpions 🦂, but that didn't take away from the wonderful experience. Semi-private beach near the house on a dirt road, very nice 🏝️ ✨. Sofia, the house's caretaker, was super friendly and helpful. We were in constant communication. And the cleaning girls were also very friendly and attentive. We would definitely love to come back with more people. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE, BUT ONLY IF YOU LIKE NATURE 🌴🐞🕷️🐜🦩

Casa Mariposa wasn’t just beautiful, it was intentional. Every detail felt in the right place. The daily cleaning was a huge plus, and being immersed in jungle with the beach a short walk away gave us exactly the immersive experience we needed. The hosts were wonderful, and the caretaker family was genuinely kind and attentive. We can’t wait to come back!

This was one of my favorite Airbnbs. You cannot beat the location of being in the jungle with spectacular 360 views from all living spaces. At night, the sounds are mesmerizing, and we were lucky enough that the migration of crabs happened while we were there. We also witnessed the most incredible storm through our large bedroom windows and doors. The pool was delightful with its view over the greenery, and the expansive living room really makes for a luxurious jungle experience. Two of the bedrooms are with AC, and the other two are open with screened windows for a more authentic experience with the surroundings, the breeze going through the room, lying on bed under mosquito net was serene and sensory rich. Housekeeping came every day, and the hosts were responsive and really wonderful. If you want to get away from the bustle of Sayulita and San Pancho, this is a must-stay. You will not be disappointed.

The place is amazing. The house is very nice and we loved every detail. The pool is spectacular, and the vegetation is even better. We like to explore and get to know new places every time we travel, so we have no problem going a little further and getting out of the more touristy areas. As a recommendation, consider bringing a suitable vehicle, as access is via a dirt road. Also, to go down to the beach, I would say that it is practically essential to have a car, as it is somewhat secluded; but it is completely worth it. Other than that, the experience was excellent and we will definitely be back.

This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful place and, as always, everything lived up to expectations. The facilities, service and attention were excellent. If you have the chance to find availability, don't miss it. It is definitely a worthwhile experience that you won't regret.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The location is stunning, surrounded by lush jungle with an incredible view, offering complete privacy. Honestly, it’s even more beautiful than the photos suggest. You can really feel the personality of Karin and Bryan in every detail — the handmade art and thoughtfully crafted furniture give the place a unique and warm vibe. The view lounge with the hammock and daybed is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We spent hours there just enjoying the atmosphere. The pool is fantastic and blends perfectly into the natural surroundings. The entire property, with its casitas and palapas, is immersed in beautiful nature, making it feel like a true escape. Communication was excellent from start to finish — friendly, fast, and very helpful. We had such a great time and would definitely come back anytime. Highly recommended!

What a magical place! It was even better than I thought through the pictures. Karin and Bryan were excellent hosts, and we loved seeing their artwork. The space was clean, private, with excellent views. We are already planning our next visit ❤️

An excellent place to relax, a private place to rest from the noise, they take great care of the details, towels in the pool, in the bedrooms, a very well-equipped kitchen, only the beach is difficult to get to, but the facilities are perfect...

i would highly recommend this place for a getaway, it's beautiful, magican. our only regret is that we didn't book for a longer stay.

An excellent place to stay with family or friends. The area is very quiet, maybe a little difficult to get to for some vehicles, but driving carefully should not be a problem. Just keep in mind that in rainy weather there will be quite a few insects; but the experience is still very pleasant. I would definitely come back, it's a place that helps you relax and recharge.

A beautiful place to rest surrounded by nature, incredible sunsets.

Enjoyed our stay so much. It was so easy to relax with the peaceful surroundings. Communication with Brian and Sofia was so helpful and a great resource before, during and after our visit. Would definitely book again!

An amazing place, you enjoy the tranquility of the jungle and unparalleled ocean views. The road to get there is better if you are going by truck because you are literally on the mountain. The property is large and spacious, the pool very nice. It is not so close to the beach, you have to move like 15 minutes by car and the road is difficult by car. The host's attention is very good, they communicated at all times and were very willing to meet our needs. I recommend it if what you are looking for is quiet and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city or people. Very good place to relax and live a time of reconnection with nature.

Our stay at Villa Vista Mariposas was wonderful. Firstly, Brian and Karin are excellent hosts. They responded quickly to messages and were very welcoming during our stay on the property. They also provided a concierge, Sofia, who was extremely helpful in coordinating the details of our stay, including touring us around the facility and helping us coordinate different tours and catering options. We chose to have half of our meals catered by chef Silvia and this was absolutely one of the highlights of the trip. As other reviews have mentioned - it is important to rent a vehicle with some clearance to make the trip to the house. We rented a Nissan X-Trail, and we were glad for that decision. The privacy of the beach was another highlight. We spent hours boogie boarding, walking, and just bathing in the sun. You will not regret staying here!

The place is amazing, full of nature, spacious place, it has everything you need to spend a few days relaxing, the only thing I didn't like is the sound limitation, I think it's wrong that they limit you to not listening to music or making noise at certain hours because of the neighbors and their retreats, but other than that they are incredible people, 100% recommended, they have an incredible property with beautiful views, recommended !!! The house is beautiful, even better than in the photos. Super comfortable and complete. It's a place to spend the whole day. The only thing I feel that wasn't worth the price is because the pool was freezing. I had been told that they had a solar heater and in the end it turns out that they don't. It was like ice and since it's January we couldn't even put our feet in, so it's something you pay for and you can't use if it's not very warm weather. Other than that, the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are beautiful, everything is magical. I would definitely come back but in warmer weather (and in a time when there are no mosquitoes)

Everything was excellent, the Airbnb was very nice and comfortable to be with our pet, the 3 main rooms were very comfortable and with incredible views, there were no complaints, but the rooms that are next to the pool did have complaints of noise and that they were not very comfortable, and another thing to consider is that the beach is somewhat far away (at least walking) and with very steep hills, and if you have a car, you have to consider one that can handle a terrain with many potholes, but overall a very good Aribnb, I'm leaving with a good taste in my mouth, I had an amazing time with my family.

Great place to stay in Riviera Nayarit. Such a beautiful scenery in a very remote and quiet piece of land. Would definitely come back with friends and family.

Such a beautiful place! It’s secluded and has beautiful views of the beach and mountains. Great place to go as a big group. Only thing is you need to be comfortable driving and have the right kind of car to get you up the rocky steep hill to get there but it’s so worth it!

Great location, great experience and quite quiet place

Wow what a peaceful and relaxing environment. We visited Karin's place with a group of ladies and it was exactly what we were looking for. I've never experienced such hands-on care from airbnb hosts! Sofy, who is their on-site manager went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They offered daily cleaning and the option to hire the staff to cook dinner, both of which we took advantage of! The setting is private and jungly and the pool is stunning. The nearby beach (we drove) is incredible and offers shade. I would 10/10 recommend this place for an escape from the hustle and bustle, a great place to gather with friends with multiple living spaces and a beautiful outdoor kitchen.

Amazing place, beautiful views.

Staying at Karin and Bryan’s property was an amazing experience. Bryan greeted us upon arrival and was very responsive throughout our stay. They gave us the details we needed to make the experience perfect. The property itself is gorgeous and fits in well with the environment. It’s obvious that a lot of love and care has been involved in creating this oasis in the jungle. It is a bit of a trek to get to the property and to the beach so high clearance vehicles are highly recommended. We feel grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy this property and hope to return.

Such a wonderful,dreamy place. The amount of peace you feel any direction you turn is inexplicable. The pool was so amazing, you absolutely need a car that is higher ground to get there easier because its a climb as te directions state. The private beach is so close by and absolutely breathtaking. Stay here. You won't regret it!

Amazing place, we will remember forever :) we were lucky enough to get access to the hill-top palapa that has 360 degrees view over the ocean and jungle... the sort of view you won't find anywhere else. Beach access is not very easy: 2km walk down the (sometimes) muddy path. If you go by car make sure it is with a 4x4 during the rainy season as the path is rough. But you'll be rewarded once on the beach, almost desert and more protected than the one in San Pancho. Daily room service was very appreciated too. Summary: we loved it and hopefully will come back in the future.

The place is beautiful and is extraordinarily and exquisitely equipped. It's in the middle of the jungle, but it has all the comforts and more. The kindness of the hosts is evident in the consideration with which they have equipped the cottages. They even thought of flashlights for the bedrooms. The open concept allows for a spectacular view from all sides. Congratulations and thank you for everything.
