Bruce

Bruce’s house is a gem in Playa Grande, Guanacaste. Fully equipped and in a prime location, within walking distance to the beach — perfect for both kids and adults, without having to deal with all the foot traffic of a beachfront property. The house is spotless, with a beautiful garden and an amazing pool. It also has a great security system, which gives guests real peace of mind. Communication with Bruce was smooth and effortless — he was always attentive to our questions and replied super quickly. This is the kind of find you can’t wait to come back to.

Bruce's place is a very nice place and its location is fantastic. Close to the beach and all the restaurants. He is also a very responsive host.

Great place for a relaxing, low key beach vacation. The home is so spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Walking distance to the beach and some great places to eat, get coffee and drinks, and just chill. Bruce and Dana were amazing hosts; great communication, clear and simple check in/check out, and lots of local recommendations. Our family would absolutely love to stay again on our next visit to Costa Rica!

Very relaxing location, close to beach, local restaurants and café's. We were 6 adults and house is spacious with large open kitchen. Large patio in front where we had our breakfast and dinners. Great pool area, perfect to spend time away from the beach. Beach is walking distance, couple of minutes which is perfect. It was never crowded the week that we were there and sunset are spectacular. FYI-A bit dusty this time of year due to winds from the bay. Bruce is perfect host always responsive when we had questions. He even came to replace our defective coffee maker with a brand new one. We highly recommend this house for your future family vacation in Playa Grande area.

The house was perfect for our last minute stay of three nights! We loved everything about it. Bruce responded immediately and connected us with his local house manager, Kimberly. Kimberly was amazing and helped us with transportation arrangements and other recommendations. She also cooked a wonderful, delicious dinner at the house for us one night. The pool was spectacular and the walk to the beach was 5 minutes or less. You have to experience the sunsets on the beach! Incredible! People in the area were friendly and helpful. We wish our vacation would have been longer here and would love to stay at this house again! Thank you!!

We were there at the end of winter, so many restaurants and stores close to the house were upgrading or under construction. What was open was great. 5-7 minute easy walk to the beach. Having the pool at the house was great. The towns we visited were within a 45 minute drive. Kimberly and her husband were the managers and took care of any needs we had. They cooked for us 1 night and it was worth the extra money. Beds were comfortable. We had 6 people and there was room for 9.

This house is ideally located for all you want to do in the playa grande area. The house is much larger in person and is SO comfortable! The upper and lower outdoor space is well shaded during the day making it perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was one of the best we have had in this area (yearly visitors). The cookery was descent and there is a gas stove and dishwasher. Bruce was responsive and flexible with our checkin and checkout. There really is nothing to fault here. We LOVED it!
