The Space

Casa Veranera, located in Playa Grande, Guanacaste, is a charming three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a pool, situated just two blocks from Playa Grande beach. The house is furnished with custom-made teak furniture.

Upstairs features a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and a bunk bed (twin on top and full on the bottom), a teak ceiling, and a private bathroom. The bathroom includes his and hers sinks, a walk-in shower, a private toilet, and a jacuzzi tub. This bedroom opens onto a private upstairs porch.

Downstairs are two additional bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. Each bedroom contains a king-size bed, built-in closet, ceiling fan, and air conditioning unit.

The kitchen boasts granite countertops and is fully equipped with brand-new stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, gas range with four burners and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, blender, food processor, coffee maker, as well as pots, pans, plates, glasses, and silverware. All appliances were replaced in June 2018.

The dining room features a beautiful round teak table with six chairs and connects the kitchen to the living room. The living room is roomy and includes two reclining chairs, two sofas, an oversized table, and a 43-inch LG TV.

The house is secured with a modern, easy-to-use security system and offers a safe for personal valuables. In fall 2018, the property was upgraded with Pella Architect Series windows featuring high-security hurricane glass. Additional security measures include decorative bars on windows and the upstairs porch door, along with a concrete wall surrounding the entire property.

Parking and a laundry room are available for guests.

Location

Playa Grande is a small beach town located in the heart of Las Baulas National Marine Park, known for its leatherback turtles. Visitors can witness turtle nesting or hatching between October and March. The park office, where guests can sign up for night tours, is just a one-minute walk from the house.

The white sand beach at Playa Grande offers a world-class surf break, making it an ideal destination not only for surfers but also for adventure seekers, romantic getaways, and family vacations.

Local amenities such as restaurants, bars, surf shops, spas, yoga classes, and dental and medical clinics are all within a 2 to 5-minute walk from the property.

Playa Grande is approximately 45 minutes from Liberia International Airport and 20 minutes from Tamarindo Airport. Airport pickup service is available for an additional fee.
