My family and I really enjoyed the house. It has a prime location right on the ocean, which you can see from your bed. The house is full of details that make your stay the best. When we arrived, they welcomed us with some cold beers in the refrigerator. Thank you. The kitchen is more than equipped, super comfortable beds, patio with barbecue and ocean views. Without hesitation, I highly recommend it. We hope to return soon.

We had a great 5-night stay. Everything was exactly as advertised. Fantastic location. Steps to the beach, beautiful vies from the home and easy walk to a handful of restaurants and bars. Sami is also a wonderful and very responsive host.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the perfect location on the beach to be able to Kite from the house. The views were incredible. It has a very convenient location. We certainly will try to return.

We had a wonderful time staying right on the 50 yard line of the whole La Ventana wind sports scene.

Amazing spot, particularly for wind lovers during the windy season. But even then, it's super still until 11 and after 5 every day. Perfectly picturesque right from the house.

Best house in La Ventana! Absolutely, stunningly beautiful. Sami was a wonderful host and went the extra mile in recommending a physician in the area after I pulled a muscle. I can't praise the location and house enough.

Great location and great support in learning about the area

This is a beautiful, comfortable place a few steps from the beach and within walking distance of Baja Joe's and a number of restaurants. Just right for four people (one bedroom for a couple and two for individuals), with a big balcony on the second floor.

We really enjoyed our stay here!! The house is set up extremely well for sharing among couples with lots of room to spread out. The one place we felt pinched was in the refrigerator, which is on the small side if you’ll be stocking food and beverages for meals at home. Linens are good quality, mattresses are very firm. We are wing foilers and could launch right in front of the house (sandy), but did have to walk out about 35-40 feet through some waves before reaching foil depth. Lots of room for gear on the ocean side patio and sandy area, an outdoor shower, and a generous amount of clothes line. As the host description notes, there is only parking space for one car next to the house. Note that you will not have eyes on additional cars that are parked “above, outside main gate”, about 200 feet from the house by the highway.

A fantastic place to stay in La Ventana! The location is amazing, right on the beach and steps away from the action, i.e. Baja Joe’s. We did not feel the need to rent a car, and got around by foot or ATV. More than the location, it is Sami’s warm hospitality and cheer that makes the place so welcoming. There are many small touches in the house that make your stay extra comfortable, extra pillows, blankets for the hamac, wine/snacks for our late arrival, coffee pods (hard to find locally!)… And, if you need anything, Sami goes out of her way to make it happen for you. The layout of the house works very well for a family with teenagers. Parents can have the room downstairs and kids can have their own space upstairs. We enjoyed every moment of our stay in her beautiful yet laid back beach house, and will be back for sure!

Sami's place is just as good as it looks in the pictures, if not better. What you can't see is the amazing hospitality that Sami offers and the perfect location of her place. Sami really took great care of us. Very responsive and thoughtful beyond belief. The location is perfect; beachfront with great swimming (no rocks or reef, just sand!) and wind sports from your front yard. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, many of which you can get to on the beach without crossing a road. It was the little things that made all the difference: sharp knives in the kitchen, yoga matts for guest use, cute Tea sets in the bedrooms, lots of new nice blankets to keep warm in the Baja wind, to name just a few of the extra touches that we were pleasantly surprised by. Our only complaint was that it only lasted seven days. It really was a dream vacation. Thanks Sami!

Casa Brisa del Mar was a wonderful launching place for our week in La Ventana. Though our group of two couples were neither fishermen or kite boarders, we found our stay in this little village quite delightful. This casa was an ideal set up for us: two suites upstairs (we only used one), and a master bedroom downstairs, giving us both privacy and generous gathering spaces. The ocean view was magnificient with amazing sunrises and many seating possibilities, including a generous patio out of the wind. The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed more than one dinner in the dining room during our week (fresh yellow tail purchased at a tiny shop down the street). We parked our rental car inside the gated driveway next to the villa. The patio door was 50 steps from the ocean. We felt safe and enjoyed the small town vibes of this village... beaches stretching for miles, yet a quick walk to a restaurant, swimming in the still morning waters, and watching from our recliners the amazing kite shows on windy afternoons. We did an afternoon trip to Todos Santos (including a covid test so we could get back home!), a boating day to Isla del Espiritu Santo which included swimming with the sea lions, and enjoyed services at Casa Tara Spa down the street. We wished we had time to do a hike through the saguaros in this beautiful Sonoran desert--next time. Yes, there were issues with spotty internet and trouble with water one day in the house, but Mexico is a developing country and flexibility is needed. Our hostess, Sami, was there for us in every way: her communication was quick and helpful... especially regarding the uncertainties of travel in these covid times. She had many suggestions for food (we had gluten-free needs) and restaurants and was welcoming and gracious in every way. All four of us agreed that our week at Casa Brisa del Mar was quite fabulous and we look forward to returning to La Ventana again.

If you’re looking for the perfect location, this is the place. How awesome it was to wake up and go out for a morning paddle right out your back door. Sunrises were breathtaking. Sammy and her cohost Sarah were so wonderful and responsive. Looking forward to coming back. thank you Sami!

My family had such a great time at Sami's house. Her charming house is fully equipped and enjoys a spectacular beach location in La Ventana. Sami is a most gracious host that helped us with our holiday plans, provided great recommendations, and helped stock our home with provisions for the holiday festivities.
