3BR Loft in Mexico City

Good, 1 month ago

Great location! Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Inside room was rather dark for my taste. Room with balcony was spacious and well lit. Staff was extremely responsive and helpful. Getting in was rather difficult because it took a while for someone to answer the doorbell. In addition, I did reach out to Fernanda once and never received a response.

Fernanda was the absolute best host on my family trip to CDMX during the World Cup. She promptly messaged me with amenities we could have taken advantage of and offered to arrange transportation to and from the airport. The suites were exactly as pictured and the entire building was beautifully historic. We were a group of 7 and we had an easy time coming/going to the building. We were able to store our luggage twice while our suites were prepared and after checking out. I couldn’t have been happier to have chosen this host/location. If you’re worried about anything, know that Fernanda and her team will make sure you’re taken of!

Staff was overall the winners here they were always so attentive and responsive. Location was prime but honestly getting there with all the traffic sucked bc Ubers had to drop us off two blocks away bc government had it shut down and with two small children not ideal. However that isn’t the Airbnb fault but want to make it transparent for people with little ones bc we were towing with luggages. AC only in one suite but my in-laws are older and get cold easier so they didn’t complain once. The place was beautiful with all the amenities. If my kids could tow their own luggage would be back.

A place with a lot of history; given its age, it is very well preserved, with a lot of renovations; everything is super clean; good ongoing maintenance. It's superbly located, close to the Zócalo and many museums, and super close to places to eat and nightlife. As for the service, it was more than adequate—always attentive. One day, it rained and we got wet, and that day, they did our laundry at no cost. Upon arrival, they gave us a tour of the property, told us a lot about its history, and about everything it has to offer. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you very much for everything!

I had such an amazing experience staying here. The location is unbeatable, super central and within walking distance to so many spots, with something always going on nearby. At first, I was a bit worried about safety, but that quickly changed. There’s a huge police presence in the area, and I felt completely safe the entire time, even coming back in the middle of the night. The service was incredible. The staff is available 24/7, very friendly, and extremely accommodating. One of the staff members even went out of his way to find a scale for us so we could weigh our luggage, which I really appreciated. Despite being in such a lively area, it wasn’t loud at all, which made it easy to relax. The building itself is also stunning, beautiful and well-maintained. Overall, I loved everything about this stay and would absolutely come back!

Great location in the heart of the historic District, which completely transforms during the daytime to a bustling colorful area, but at night time with all of the security guard fences down it transforms into a little desolate looking and rough. Once you get inside, it is an incredibly historic beautifully property that’s in great condition. The fact that it’s one of the first elevators in Mexico, the declaration of independence was printed here, and that it’s over 400 years old is an unforgettable and invaluable experience to have in the heart of the country.

Your Casa Sauto stay will not disappoint! The accommodations were outstanding. We loved how perfectly renovated the building was while leaving so much the original character along with convenient access to everything Zócalo (the historical district). Beyond that it was great for our situation in that our flight arrived late so the 24/7 access was exactly what we needed and we were able to reserve two suites across the hall from each other for privacy but proximity to friends we were traveling with. We’d definitely recommend this property to others. Thank you for the outstanding stay Fer!

Casa Sauto is absolutely beautiful and in the best location, our suite did not have AC so it was a bit warm, there is a night club nearby and the noise was VERY LOUD , we didn’t get much sleep on Friday or Saturday night Sunday night was quiet. my kids suite was great, it was quiet and had A.C. Having said all that …I’d still recommend staying there!! It’s such a beautiful Historic building! Who cares about the noise and the heat!! Hahah! I’ll sleep when I’m dead! the rooftop was AMAZING. I would absolutely stay again.

Great location. Safe. Near all the great historic sites including TEMPLO MAYOR (a must see). Highly recommended stay.

This appears to be a new business and the value is excellent. I imagine the prices will increase as time passes. The rental portion of this 4 story, historic building is a thoughtful renovation and accurately reflects pictures. The building is also secure and there is help onsite for any issues you may need resolved. The location gives you a full Zocolo/Tenochititlan experience. This is why we booked here and we were delighted with our experience. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet, consider requesting an interior room.

This is a historic building so just know that the wooden floors are squeaky. I loved how secure the building felt and that entrances were all keyless. There are lots of places within walking distance. The only negative was that when we rang buzzer for assistance it would take a few rings before someone came. I would message the host and she would respond promptly to get someone at building to assist us. I rented 2 suites and they were perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Place is nice and has a lot of history in it. We felt safe all the time since there are a lot of police on the streets. The only drawback is the same police close the streets often making it difficult for services such as Uber or relatives to arrive to pick up guests. Fer is very attentive and responds on time the same than her staff. Anyway we had a great time there.

We had gotton 2 suites which I had originally thought that it was one big one. I had to put my 2 daughters (Teens) in a suite with their Grandma and it was a pain when it came to all communicating because Grandma did her own thing most of the time. The 2nd suite was super warm no air flow at all, but a few fans which was the downside to that suite.. The 1st suite had 2 balconies which was nice to open and let air flow but mosquitoes was an issue with getting bite. The noise was also another thing very noisy and busy area. The floor is very creaky and old and some parts of floor felt like we could fall threw the floor borads. (I get very old building). The communications very smooth and also she let us store luggage untill 3pm (check in) and we also got an additional cleaning since we had a longer stay. The area was very nice and very close to everything as described and we really liked the location.. Walking distance to everything and only had to use a few ubers. The area is very safe and we felt very safe.

Host Response

Justina thank you for your review and for choosing us! We are glad you enjoyed our location and that you felt safe with us! Im so sorry for the missunderstanding, indead they are two separate suites, as we mention in the title of the add as well as in the description. Im suprise to read about the floors, as they were fully restored a year ago and they are perfectly safe. The creaky noise comes from a historic building. In general I would have loved to know all of this in advanced so we could could give you a solution and improve your experience with us! Fernanda.

This is a stunning apartment in the centro historico. The host and personnel are attentive, friendly, and helpful. If you love history and architecture, this is the place to base your time in CDMX. An exceptional experience from booking to check-out. We would book again and recommend without hesitation.

Host Response

Glenn Muchas Gracias!! Thank you for your words! Im happy to hear you had enjoyed everything about your stay with us!!! Than you for your trust and preference!! We hope to see again anytime soon!!! Best wishes, Fernanda!!

Very pleasant and well-located place to stay. The suites are huge. Splendid building and furniture. Only points of criticism. Fairly dark rooms, especially those overlooking the central patio without an exterior window and sounds of music from adjoining buildings sometimes late at night. But we recommend the place where we are much more.

Host Response
