Villa Ladera exceeded our expectations! From the minute we arrived until the very end, we felt so cared for by the staff and had the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a vacation with our adult children. Dining together made the trip so much easier, the pool was refreshing and fun and the Palapa table made playing card games enjoyable. The location was perfect enough to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything. The home was absolutely stunning with high-quality finishes. The beds were comfortable. We would absolutely come back. Thank you, Scotty and to your team for making our family vacation memorable.

Somehow the place looks even better than the photos. It’s gorgeous, comfortable, in a fantastic location and the staff is perfect - kind, friendly, and willing to help with anything. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The location was great with nice views of the water.c and was the perfect amount of space for us. We really enjoyed the pool area.

This is a stunning home in a great location. It's just at the edge of the Zona Romatica, up a hill and a little and a short walk to everything. The house itself is large, with a wonderful open area, perfect for our family group. The pool was a great temperature and size, and was sparkling without any chlorine smell. The 5 bedrooms are beautiful and large, so everyone has a comfortable place to get away. The highlight of this home was the staff. The chef is world class and the house man is exceptionally professional. Meals at this house were among the best we've ever eaten. Housekeeping was flawless. Keep in mind that the surrounding area is busy and can be noisy. The hotel across the street regularly has techno music playing with a driving bass. For the most part this was fine, but it did occasionally get annoying. Wasn't a big issue (and some days were pretty quiet), but if you are looking for peace and quiet you may want to be aware.

Scottie’s place was great for our stay in Puerto Vallarta. The place was even more beautiful than in pictures and we had a great time lounging around by the pool. We spent more time than we thought we would in the house. The staff were great - chef Gabriel cooked us some delicious spreads and we always had delicious cocktails waiting for us at every meal. The place was also close to town and within walking distance of restaurants but it was on top of a very steep hill so bring comfortable shoes! All in all would recommend this place if you’re looking for a luxurious stay in PV.

Gay paradise! My husband and I escaped cold Boston with 8 of our closest friends. Everything was better than described. The house manager was extremely helpful setting up transportation, activities, and making sure everything was perfect for our group. Chef Hector was fabulous! We worked together to build the breakfast and dinner menu. Everything was perfection! Staff kept the margaritas flowing and the rooms clean! This is the perfect house for a large group. The layout of the Villa allows people to come together but also find spaces to relax away from the group. Highly recommend this spot!

Scottie’s Villa is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. It was larger and more beautiful than it looks in pictures. The artwork is personal favorite of mine. Villa Ladera is well located very near the beach and within easy distance to Zona Romantica. This place is definitely up the hill so we chose to take inexpensive and easily obtained cabs. And the Villa is across the street from a hotel so there were cabs waiting just outside our door. We arrived on my birthday and received a wonderful welcoming. Scottie’s lovely attentive staff had fresh margaritas and scrumptious snacks prepared and waiting. We gathered in the pool while the staff graciously kept the beverages coming. Chef Hector (a total joy) prepared a delicious dinner and the best chocolate birthday cake I’ve ever had. I selected Scottie’s Villa because of its proximity to the beach and downtown. We spent more time in the Villa than expected because it was simply too wonderful to leave.

There's a lot to say about this place. First, the pictures online don't do it justice. It was a gorgeous place to stay. All 5 bedrooms with own bathrooms were well big enough styled very nicely. There was plenty of room on the grounds for our group to hang out in different areas at different times. The living room was great for movie night a few times. The staff is what really made the visit great. Hector's cooking was so delicious. Our favorites were pollo chimichangas and cheesecake. Marco had great care of the pool and landscape. There was some touch up after the hurricane and Marco did a great job of that. Isela's was very detailed in cleaning the rooms. It was nice having fresh beds every day. Unfortunately, we were there for a major hurricane and told the staff not to come the next day if it was unsafe. All 3 were there on time the next day, one even had to hitchhike because their car was stuck at their house. This shows how much they care about their guests. Will stay here again

Scottie’s home exceeded our expectations. It was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Villa Ladera has a great location situated in a lovely area of the city and our whole family loved coming home to relax there in the evenings after spending the days exploring Zona Romantica and other parts of the city. We were welcomed by the extremely generous and helpful staff after a long journey on our first day of travel. We felt very privileged to have margaritas and guacamole while Isela gave us the lay of the land. All of the staff treated us incredibly well and worked very hard for us our entire stay. Hector made us delicious meals and Isela was always available to answer questions and troubleshoot whenever needed. If you are looking for a gorgeous property, with comfortable amenities, just a short distance from all of Puerto Vallarta’s best sights, you can’t go wrong booking Scottie’s place.

Our stay at Villa Ladera was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and felt like VIP guests throughout our entire stay. The villa itself was paradise, nestled amidst lush greenery and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and ocean. The location cannot be beat! It is very close to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife. The exceptional service provided by the staff truly made our experience unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Thank you for making our stay truly special!

Wow - this stay was as perfect as they come. The home itself was GORGEOUS, private yet communal for groups. The staff were spectacular and truly made the stay everything we could have hoped for. We did this for a large family stay, but have already suggested it to friend groups as a must go! Cannot thank they team enough!

Perfect villa for those who want a place walkable (albeit up a hill) to the beaches, restaurants, and bars of Zona Romantica. It is also a great villa to host friends and family in a spacious space with everything you need. The staff were wonderful and couldn't have been more welcoming. The only downside was the noise of local construction, but we were warned and it was kept to daytimes only.

It was a whirlwind to get to PVR but once we arrived, Scottie's team was just amazing. Everything from greeting us with refreshing drinks to planning, cooking and serving the most amazing meals. The property was beautiful, very well maintained, and the pool was icing on the cake. Even in the midst of a hurricane, it was the experience was everything we hoped. 150% would return and plan too.

What a blissful week we just had at Villa Ladera. The spaces are generous and unique (the sunbed was HUGE and a favorite spot). Dining at the outdoor covered table was a treat every morning and evening. Chef Hector’s meals were diverse and delicious and his positive outlook, creativity and versatility were highlights. The whole staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. Easy access to the beach and the town resulted in many fun, exploratory walks and quick taxi rides back when needed. Easily the best of several great villas we’ve rented in PV.

This property is beautiful. It's much better in person than pictured. It is very clean and has such a vibrant feel to it. Our group occupied the 5 bedroom Villa and it was plenty spacious for us all to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The outdoor dining area is perfect, we enjoyed breakfasts and dinners outside and it really was such a lovely time. The location is very easy to arrange for uber's. It's a quick walk to the beach and restaurants and bars. Ample food options are a short walk away. Everything was very easily accessible either by walking it taking a quick Uber ride. The staff truly make the stay in this property memorable. They are all wonderful, and are willing to assist with any questions you may have. Hector, the chef was a true genius. His meals were phenomenal. We all truly enjoyed everything he prepared. Everyone truly made this an incredible experience for our group. Scottie and Isella have been absolutely wonderful with communication. From the moment of booking this property until departure, they were available and accessible for any queries. Scottie was so accommodating with allowing us to change our dates to match our new flight schedules. If really was a worry free experience. All in all, a definite must to visit and stay. Do not hesitate and book this place!!! I've been to Puerto Vallarta many times, but this visit was the BEST thanks to Villa Ladera and the staff. I've been away for less than 24 hours and feel as if I left a piece of my heart there. Booking and Check In: Booking was a breeze. Scottie did a great job answering all of my questions and coordinating our visit with his house manager, Isela. Isela and the staff were there when we arrived and made us feel right at home, especially when greeting us with the most amazing margaritas, chips and guacamole. Property: The villa is BEAUTIFUL and very well maintained. I loved the layout of the villa. Although our group spent most of our time in the outdoor space, the ensuites were a nice escape whenever individuals or couples wanted privacy. The staff does a great job ensuring everything is in great working condition and if not they do every effort to get it fixed right away. There are areas of the villa you get a nice glimpse of the ocean. Every detail at this villa was carefully thought out and it was tastefully decorated. Location: Villa Ladera is conveniently located and everything you need is within a 5-10 minute walk - groceries, restaurants, beaches, massages, and shopping. Staff: OMG probably the best part of our trip! Chef Hector, Javier, Isidra, and Isela did such a superb job. Our best meals were at the villa prepared by Chef Hector. Everything he prepared was phenomenal. He accommodated the dietary restrictions of our group and was flexible to some menu changes. Javier made the best margaritas, took great care of the outdoor space, and was an awesome compliment to the Chef for our dining experience. Isidra was so sweet and did such an immaculate job keeping our interiors cleaned. Isela was always available via text for any questions and willing to help you book anything you need - car service, massages, excursions, etc. I'll be back for sure!!

Great location! Taxis always ready! Take alot of pesos ready. AC is very very good!

Beautiful views, lovely grounds, wild parrots, comfy beds, and a beautiful pool are just the start of this place. The staff is top notch—everything was clean, beautiful and tailored to our group. We cannot say enough good things about the chef, Hector—a better meal in all the region is not to be found. Every meal was exquisite. His table is our favorite place to dine and no detail was left undone. The music, flavors, food and drink were all to perfection. We will definitely be back.

Amazing location right across the street from Almar hotel. Stairs to walk to mantamar are very very long and going up them makes even the most athletic person short of breath so just be careful. 15 minutes walk downtown but cabs always outside almar hotel so can take one downtown for $5-10 if decide you don’t want to walk. Chef was amazing with EVERY meal. Asked for fajitas first night and green enchiladas the second night. We had him make sandwiches for the next two night because we were busy with activities and those were killer as well. Some issues our group had was ants in the bathrooms, a leaky toilet in one of the rooms, and what appeared to be rat droppings on the bedsheets when we returned one evening. Pool area was perfect for our group as well and loved the outdoor dinning table. Overall would recommend and stay there again.

Our stay here was wonderful. The food was amazing (definitely recommend asking for the cheese cake) and the staff were absolutely wonderful! Its only a block or so from the beach and very walkable to downtown. All the rooms and common spaces were newly renovated and look great. All the amities are new and modern. Overall definitely recommend staying here!

We couldn't have had a better time for my husband's birthday. The staff are fantastic and the location can't be beat. We can't wait to come again.

Villa Ladera is the perfect space if you’re staying in Zona Romantica within Puerto Valletta !! Scottie was an amazing host/communicator before our stay and he provided us with the best food and local recommendations. Leading up to, and during our stay, Isela took fantastic care of us whenever we needed anything. The staff at Villa Ladera was outstanding. We really loved the private chefs who cooked for us but the best part of the whole vacation was the space itself! The pool is heated, the individual villas are very spacious and the common spaces were clean and plentiful. We look forward to staying at Villa Ladera soon and appreciate how LGBTQ friendly the entire experience was for our group. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Was a great week away during a crazy time; staff was incredibly respectful abs thoughtful. Place was clean, comfortable, roomy. The pool is amazing and the location cannot be beat. The residence is going through some renovations and can’t wait to see what they have planned! A few things that could use afew tweaks: the internet was a bit slow and we had several people trying to work on it at the same time which caused some delay. Outdoor speakers would be a great addition (we brought portable speakers so made due). It was a little cold in the morning and we ran out of hot water a few times. Overall highly recommend people check out the place to stay! The owners are incredibly helpful and the chef and property management are incredibly services.
