We had a very pleasant stay to celebrate the New Year with the family. The accommodation is very nice and comfortable, with enough amenities and a lot of attention to detail to create a special atmosphere, perfect for disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and taking advantage of the property. The complimentary wine was a great touch and the service and availability of Tamara, Ivan and Mr. Francisco were exceptional. We would love to return soon and would definitely recommend staying at this place!

An absolute gem! The wonderful house and the impressive cactus garden invite you to switch off, enjoy and rest. Ivan and Tamara's recommendations are excellent. From Yair who took us on a hike to Javier who cooked sensational food for us to Oscar who drove us to Tolantongo… Great value, reliable and voluntary! But the most beautiful thing is and remains the house with the beautiful courtyard, the cozy parlor, well-equipped kitchen and the wonderful cactus garden where we sat one evening by the fire under the starry sky and listened to the chirping of the crickets. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your 200-year-old house and for all your attention and help! We hope to come back one day!

I would recommend it. Is perfect for 10 people. Did not have issues at all. Only thing or recommendation is to check maps or have something handy, so you won’t get lost or have to drive in rough dirt track. As I experienced lots of it, due to my maps directions. Other than that, was perfect and safe.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. I love the vintage furniture and rustic look of the house. The bus leaves you right there, literally! It was so easy to find. The host was very sweet. Thanks

The stay at DONGU 1803 was more than satisfactory, I went with the family to spend New Year's and we were all satisfied, very nice house, excellent service from the host and very quiet area. 100% recommended. We definitely plan to return.

A charming place! It's a place with a lot of personality both in the construction and in the natural environment of the high mezquital. The uniqueness of the place surprised us. In addition, I would like to point out that they were always in communication with us and guiding us at all times. They are also very friendly and flexible. We had a problem with the pets and they were very creative and fair in the solution they gave us. We consider them to be among the best hosts we have had on the app. Don't hesitate to book the stay. Our stay here was fantastic! The home has been in the family for four generations and we gelt do privileged to be able to stay there. The hosts were always responsive and personally gave us a detailed tour when we arrived. The property was better than we imagined - the land is very large and secured. So many beautiful cactus and mesquite - many of which were labeled with common and scientific names - it felt like we were staying in a private botanical garden. We stayed with just our small family of three but talked about how much fun it would be to come back with friends since there is plenty of room to comfortably accommodate more folks. The location was perfect for our daytrip to Grutas de Tolontongo. Highly recommend this historic home!

This is a hidden gem in the desert! A few friends and I wanted to visit the Grutas Tolantongo and we stayed at Tamara’s place for a long weekend. The house is beautiful and historic, very well maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We would’ve loved to stay longer, as it’s the ideal place to disconnect and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend!

Everything is great and Tamara's kindness

This place is awesome!!!! We wanted to visit “Las Grutas” but we weren’t able to find a place “close” but that would make us fell at home, after months of searching Tamara opened her place in AirBnB and we loved photos, big space for all of us (6), with the amazing vibe and we felt that we were back in time with all the amenities, fantastic views and ideal spaces to create memories. The hole family waited for us to give us the tour and tell us the magical story about the house. After we visited “las grutas” we realized how lucky we were to be able to stay at this amazing private location from a short drive from “Las Grutas” Thank you Tamara for all the help and recommendations. We sure be back some time.

The stay is fabulous. It's easy to get there and also the access. The place has a very special charm. It is 25 minutes from Ixmiquilpan, where you will find supermarkets, pharmacies and everything. You have to bring what you need to the hacienda. They have a barbecue. And you can light a campfire. The kitchen is fully equipped. For me, rest is very important and I think I slept perfectly without a single noise. We had internet. And all the amenities they mention. Best of all, it was Tamara's service. He recommended some activities, all of them were 10. We went hiking with Xuua (wear long sleeves and bring water), then we visited weavers in the region with Coquis, and finally we went to a massage with Dany that wow for our taste was spectacular!!! I recommend that you take it in the living room. Tolantongo's caves are 50 minutes away There are some bugs in the region, which is totally normal, because it is their environment. We ask a lot, none are extremely dangerous, but bring repellent and insecticide.

Beautiful house with tasteful decor and finishings. Big property to explore including a fire pit and small roof terrace. Tamara was very friendly and super responsive. Just be sure to go grocery shopping ahead of time as the location is remote!
