You should definitely book a stay at this magical treehouse in the jungle! The place has so much character with a large covered outdoor kitchen/dining area a few steps away from a picturesque pond. A beautiful serene place for us yogis. The bedroom is upstairs with A/C and a comfortable bed, as well. Ana and Gerardo are great hosts who are kind, helpful, and responsive! Wish we could have spent more time here. Thank you guys! We will be back :)

Wow—what an incredible place! If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, definitely book it. My wife and I ended our honeymoon here and were blown away by the property, the treehouse, and the hospitality. Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The communication was excellent, and the location was perfect—close to the airport (maybe a 15-20 min drive?), restaurants, and shopping. We arrived late after a long day of travel from Puerto Viejo, and the hosts kindly cooked us a delicious homemade vegan meal. That level of hospitality really shows how much they care about their guests. The treehouse itself was beautiful, peaceful, spotless, and very comfortable. We slept incredibly well, and the bed was super cozy. The hosts also made us a delicious vegan breakfast and even helped us arrange an Uber to the airport. We would absolutely stay here again.

Little oasis close to the airport. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and they were a lovely couple who provided breakfast and local information. Highly recommend!

Really fun place with a treehouse like upstairs and an open kitchen and relaxation area underneath. The place is on a big farm and is very secure. What a neat place so close to the hustle and bustle of Alajuela. Ana Lorena is an awesome host, providing snacks, breakfast, good company, maître D services, just an all-around great host. Cool place, we loved it.

This place is a great find. Ana was very responsive and met us when we arrived, walking us through the property. Very unique property and such a great place to relax in the kitchen area. Ana helped us find things close, was helpful when asked, and still had privacy while on the property. Would recommend anyone staying in San Jose area.

We stayed at Ana Lorena's great place for just one night. Despite the somewhat later arrival, we were received in a very friendly manner and felt immediately comfortable. The next morning we had a lovingly prepared breakfast. The garden with the many plants is a tropical paradise. Thank you for the comfortable stay! There is still one point of criticism: the nearby large road is quite loud.

Quiet peaceful property. We had a little issue finding it (our fault) and the host came to find us in her vehicle. She went above and beyond to ensure we got there. Once we were there we were taken away by how beautiful the property was. Breakfast was provided for us in the morning and we got to use the outdoor kitchen to cook our freshly laid eggs the way we wanted. French press coffee and fresh fruit provided as well. Great start to our trip , would highly recommend.

We booked this sanctuary in the middle of the city to celebrate my 29th birthday and Valentine's Day, what can I say? WONDERFUL!!! ❤️🌿💚☘️🌳🌴 the best birthday of my life!! 😍 beautiful place, made to perfection to disconnect from the noise and connect with God and nature 🍂 surrounded by palm trees, bamboo and a lot of peace!! 1 day was not enough, we wanted to stay and live there! 🥰 Doña Lorena is an exceptional human being, I could say that she is like a "mother" who adopts you and makes you feel that warmth of home, very, very friendly and helpful, everything impeccable, too many amenities! We will definitely be back, but for many more days because it is a place full of love and peace ✌🏼 We're leaving recharged and happy that we booked this AMAZING PLACE! You won't regret it! If its available - and you are even considering it - just go! Really beautiful and so close to the airport! We arrived to SJO late and after picking up our rental car, we didn't get to Ana Lorena's place until almost 11pm - but she was there to welcome us and everything was so easy. Just follow the directions to get to the place and see what a treasure awaits. Especially arriving late and then "seeing" the surroundings for the first time in the daylight the next morning. Take the time to get a short tour of the farm. Ana Lorena was so welcoming and excited to share her little slice of paradise with us - quite refreshing and very much appreciated by these travelers. Well done Ana Lorena!!

We were looking for a place outside of San José and I feel very lucky to have found this space. The property is beautiful, spacious and can be explored; the house is impeccably cared for, designed with excellent taste and a lot of love. Every detail and all of Lorena's attention made the stay truly magnificent. I recommend it without a second thought (and if I could, I would recommend it two more times). It is close to San José, but it feels completely secluded: nature, silence and a lot of peace. I'll definitely be back as soon as I have the chance.

We stayed at Lorena's place for the last night of our trip to Costa Rica before an early flight out of SJO. I'm so glad we went here instead of staying at a generic hotel near the airport. Even though this is close and convenient to the airport, it still felt like being in paradise. The property really is incredible. The treehouse itself is awesome, and it's stocked with everything we could have needed. But really the surroundings took it to another level of amazing. We loved exploring the grounds with their dog Sammy as our guide. Lorena went out of her way to help us out and make sure we made the most of our visit. The whole family is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the treehouse was even more magical than I expected. I would definitely stay here again when flying in/out of SJO.

Wonderful place, even better host. Spent a few days connecting as a couple and unwinding from home life, and this is a great place to do it. Immersed in sites and sounds of nature. Awesome at night lit with candles. Slept soundly. Has all one needs. Lorena was kind and giving, even led us on 2 walks of the grounds. The sculpture park 1/4 mile up the road is a must and exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.

Gerardo y Lorena's property was the absolute perfect place to stay our first night in Costa Rica, after traveling all day. Its proximity to the airport was super convenient, yet the property felt safe and somewhat remote- save for a bit of noise from the highway. The treehouse itself was even more beautiful than the pictures show! Lorena was a great host, always responsive, understanding and flexible with check in when we found ourselves stuck in traffic, and helpful when we had questions. Her complimentary breakfast was one of the best meals we had down there! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had an incredible stay at Gerardo's beautiful treehouse! She immediately made us feel right at home and the only thing we regret is not being able to spend more time there!

We regrettably only got to stay here one night as we were flying into SJO. It’s very close to the airport. Excellent location to start or end your trip! Lorena is extremely helpful, patient, thoughtful. their treehouse is extensively stocked and has everything you could think of! Hot showers, AC, window shades, a great morning view of a tree that tons of birds like to perch in, amazing breakfast!, snacks and rosemary waters. So peaceful and serene. I immediately felt relaxed! The bed was comfortable and we slept well! We felt safe and secure. Can’t wait to return another time! Thank you so much for sharing your space with us
