I would not recommend staying here. The listing advertised a heated pool, but for the entire week it was very cold and unusable. The internet was extremely slow — not functional for basic browsing or streaming — which was very frustrating. We were also surprised by additional charges for extra family members, which felt excessive. During our stay, the host attempted to blame us for damage to an old toilet that appeared to be pre-existing. Frank also requested an additional 3,500 pesos during our stay. When I asked for an explanation, none was provided — I was simply told to forget about it. This made the situation feel unclear and uncomfortable. There are cameras on the property, and it felt like we were being constantly monitored. Overall, the experience felt stressful, with frequent communication focused on potential extra charges. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations, and I cannot recommend this property or host.

First of all, we have been hosting families in San Carlos, Texas, Arizona and Chicago for a long time. We have 10 properties in San Carlos, we have been hosting thousands of families for over 20 years, even before the APPs existed, and we have received the Super Host award from Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking year after year since 2018. I would like to warn my fellow Super Hosts about these guests because they will make a reservation for 4 people and then have 10 or more people in your property. Needles to say, when you have so many additional guests your cost increases, and some people can damage your property, such as the case with these folks, as one of their guests broke the toilet un one of our 3 bathrooms. However, when we ask for the funds to replace what their additional guests broke, they decided to just say that our WC was already broken, which it was not. We take ownership of the fact that our pool heater failed to warm the pool to their requested temperature of 32 degrees C. But in all honesty the pool was at 28 degrees, which is more than acceptable, and after our technician adjusted the temperature, the water was 35 degrees for the remainder of their stay. As far as the internet is concerned, Telmex was having a problem with their Network, so we purchased a mobile Wi-Fi device to accommodate, while the totally out of our control Telmex signal was less than acceptable. Please check our trajectory as Super Hosts, and don’t allow questionable potential guests seeking for a break on their responsibilities to make you think that we will not take great care of you if you select one of our 8 properties in our beautiful San Carlos.

Amazing little spot a short drive from the beach. Private little colonia. We absolutely loved it and are already planning our return.

We enjoyed our family stay at Frank's! The communication was top notch, the location fantastic, and the place was lovely. The only challenges we had were with internet seeming to have some troubles when it come to speed for TV shows/movies (even after re-setting it when it didn't work at all) as well as what were 2 really hard beds that caused one couple to split and use a bunk bed. The bed in master was medium/soft and perfect! Overall, a great place!

Excellent place. The location is very quiet, safe and central. Easy access to the main street. The house is well-equipped with everything you need. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Large kitchen and the outside area too. The pool is large and heated. A very good option for spending a few days in San Carlos.

The place is really quiet to enjoy a family vacation. The property has all the amenities. There is nothing to worry about, which helps a lot to make the whole stay pleasant. Besides, the location is accessible to everything, restaurants, beach and shopping.

We loved our stay! We felt very comfortable, safe, and it was very clean. The location was great, too. We just loved every minute of our visit.

The house is better in person than in the photos. It's very comfortable and spacious, and it has everything you need. The only thing that is a bit uncomfortable is that they have cameras even inside the house, and we found that super weird, but in general everything was fine. They quickly resolved our doubts.

The camera only points to the patio, it does not have a motion function. We recently had a robbery and the insurance recommended a camera that is activated when the house is alone and sends videos when it detects movements when the house is not rented. Thanks for the indication.

We stayed at Frank's place last weekend while on a dive trip to San Carlos. The place was very clean and in a great spot. My family of 5 had plenty of space and plenty to do. Frank has a pool (w/shower) , bbq, and plenty of chairs outside to hang out. We even walked to several places to eat. The place worked out for us perfectly!

I liked the house better in person than in the photos, everything was good. You can enjoy the pool and outdoor area with your companions as you have a minibar, barbecue, warm lights, including Bluetooth speakers, chairs and outdoor armchairs. The bedrooms are well equipped with the necessary items, as well as the kitchen. Frank is a great host, always in touch and attentive to questions and tips. Overall, everything was very good.

Very good location, very nice house and Frank's service is phenomenal. Just a touch: we had to say that the pool was green and lamosa. I understand that Frank confirmed that cleaning was done prior to our arrival but we had bad luck with that :/ Outside of there, exceptional house, the bathrooms and rooms, everything was great! Recommendation to carry repellent as the heat and fauna of San Carlos attracts certain wild animals.

Very good communication with Frank, very comfortable rooms with an excellent view, perfect location, the house is very, very clean, perfect during the pandemic, excellent security, although we don't really agree with the dining room camera, but we were delighted with the stay. Unit 5 was perfect for our needs!! This home was very clean when we arrived and turned out to be very comfortable for our month long stay. If you are an early riser please do not miss the beautiful sunrises from the back patio that overlooks the bay. Plenty of room for the two of us and our perro. We never used the two additional rooms but the yard for the dog was great. The location was perfect for us being minutes away from the boatyard (Marina Seca) and San Carlos Marina. Restaurants and shopping were equally as close. Frank was amazingly attentive for answering all our needs (the dryer was not working and he had a new one delivered the next day—that is service!!!). Overall we found this to be a great value, nice home, and amazing service.

Nice place, quiet. No frills. No TV. Wi-Fi very weak and spotty. Not near the beach. Had a very nice terraced patio, except for the upkeep of the weeds. Could use a better BBQ/grill set up and washer and dryer is not a US type, and once figured out, it worked but again for the money, not what I expected. Beds are all doubles. Cockroaches in bathrooms and drains backed up in showers so you stood in dirty water.

Frank's place is awesome! It's very nice, spacious and has all the amenities you'll need. You get a nice view from the patio and you're minutes away from everything. Their hospitality and attentiveness were also amazing. Very commucative and accommodating! They truly make sure you have a great stay with them! Definitely recommend this place!
