3BR Villa in Valle de Guadalupe

Ernesto

Excellent, 4 months ago

Beautiful place and the views were amazing. Could use updated coffee makers but over all amazing place. Will be back.

Mayra's place is a great deal for groups looking to stay together yet have three separate rooms in Valle de Guadalupe. The gated compound is easily 15-20 minutes from most wineries and restaurants and all the rooms are well appointed, comfortable, and clean with its own private bathroom and shower. But one can easily overlook the rooms because of the sweeping vistas of the valley that Mayra's compound offers. The shared balcony, fire pits, outdoor kitchen (complete with a wood-fired pizza oven) and dining areas are equally impressive and add to the charm and make family gathering special. But most of all, Mayra is a great host. She checked in on us and ensured that we were taken care from check-in until we checked out. In fact, she even allowed us to check in earlier to help get our group settle in and get ready for our reservations at Fauna at Bruma. Our group's only regret was that we didn't stay longer! We are planning to book again when we return to Valle and will stay longer!

Very comfortable, we liked the place quite, comfortable, clean. Pretty private communication and very good attentions from the host

We had a wonderful time at Mayra’s place, as many other reviewers have indicate it a bit of the main Highway (about 15min on Dirt road) other than that it was perfect. Very clean place to stay at. Beautiful view from the patio overseen the Valle. We were 3 couples celebrating a birthday. Each couple had their own cabin. Mayra was Amazing answering promptly to any questions we had. We definitely recommend this place to stay. We will be coming back soon. 5/5 Stars

This property is very nice with great sunset views of the Valle. With that being said, if you know the Valle you know the best views are from sitting above and deep into the Valley hills. This property isn't very easy to get to. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get in and out onto the main highway. I highly recommend an all wheel drive or truck (especially if it's wet and muddy). The house itself is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had a coffee maker (coffee), mugs, wine glasses, little fridge, no stove, no napkins. Bathroom was stocked for a weekend stay(two bath towels, two hand towels, two rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, and toiletries in the shower) the shower water was getting hot and cold no matter what temperature you had it on. The grounds were lovely, gated property, keypad check in, and Mayra responded very quickly through whatsapp.

Quinta La Fortuna was perfect for our party of 7 people -- 4 adults, 2 teens, 1 tween. The section of the property we stayed at was comprised of three separate cabin-like units. The rear of the two adjacent units open up into elevated back decks with breathtaking views of the valley -- which is worth the price of admission alone. The property is fairly large, and we had it entirely to ourselves. There are ample outdoor common spaces to spill out into to enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape. A very energetic, but friendly German shepherd roams the premises and its adjacent environs. When we first got in, she initially scared the kids, but then simply rolled over on her back to have her belly rubbed. My son missed her when we left. Mayra's communication was clear, succinct and flawless--we couldn't have asked for a better host.

La Fortuna was extremely nice, perfect , huge and beautiful, surrounded with plants flowers and gorgeous valley view. We met Athena, the neighbors dog , she is cute and friendly. We were celebrating our anniversary with friends. This place is gated which made us feel safe. Every cabin were spacious with everything you need like coffee, wine cups , microwave . Beds were comfortable, the shower had sufficient flow and hot water. We enjoyed a cup of wine on the outdoor area by the bonfires , the place offer beautiful view of the valley from the terraces , Mayra was attentive all time quick response , she was awesome, great spirit and attitude , don’t bother looking for another place in Valle this is the PERFECT spot .

Great property. Its great if you are going in a group. We were 3 couples, so 3 separate cabins in the same property was perfect. At night we put some wood in the fire pit and enjoyed music with the stars and peaceful environment. Clean place, and comfortable beds. The only thing is that the road to get there is a little rough so you have to give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get to the main road. Other than that great value and Mayra was very responsive.

This was my second time staying here and I loved it the first time that’s why I decided to stay here again but the only reason why they didn’t get 5 stars this time there was NO hot water in any of the 3 cabins we rented and coffee container was empty in one of the rooms (if container has no coffee at least throw it away) beds are super comfortable but sofa beds not so much.. other than that place is very nice!!

Host Response

I apologize for the inconvenience of the water. I already had the water pump and heaters checked. Apparently everything is fine and they sent me a video of hot water coming out. I don't know what will happen that day with you. Also talk to the cleaning lady so that she takes more care in checking that the guests have coffee and all the necessary amenities. I apologize again

All was as expected, my family and I will be returning in the near future!

5/5 stars! To begin, the drive from the border is simple. From the main road to the house, a 10-15(depends on ur speed/tires) minute drive on a dirt road which is typical of ranch homes. Entering the property and settling in is easy as everything is labeled; amenities, keys, remotes, etc were on hand. The AC felt superb as it was a hot day 92^f! Everything listed in the ad was available for use and was in great condition; microwaves, mini fridge, cutlery, towels, fans etc. The cabins themselves are curated in a modern rustic style, and all of my guests stated the beds were super comfy! The garden, patio, and property lot is expansive! Several spaces for recreation are available throughout the home with plenty of patio furniture, even a watch tower! Amazing views of the valley!! Night time was calm, no noise complaints, no bugs since we kept the doors closed, felt very peaceful and safe. We came for the wine tours and even though there are some wineries available nearby, it will take driving to El valle de Guadalupe. With the 10min drive to the road, from there it was another 15min to the main road of Valle de Guadalupe. From the house to Ensenada, similar driving times in the opposite direction. This is a perfect place to stay if u want to be between the two towns and enjoy a very private, peaceful, calm stay. Overall we loved Mayra's home it was everything we expected it to be and some! My in laws loved their cabin, my parents loved theirs, and my husband and I did too. A classy cool place forsure, I was very pleased with everything and glad my guests thought so too! Gracias por todo, regresaremos pronto!
