The house is very nice, the rooms are very spacious, a very quiet and peaceful place, the house is in excellent condition, the cleaning was very detailed, it had enough utensils, as part of continuous improvement, the recommendation for Jossie is to install a mini split in the living room-kitchen, which allows the area to be kept in a cool environment and without bugs even though it is part of the nature of the place

The place was amazing, we really enjoyed Villa Bella and Punta Custodio. We only had difficulty getting hot water to bathe every day in all the showers, but other than that our accommodation was delightful.

In my experience, rarely if ever is a vacation locale, setting, house style, amenities and current condition so completely matched what is described on line in words and pictures. La Villa Bella cannot be beat for comfort, beauty and spirited staff; it was a joy and difficult to leave behind. All four bedrooms were lovely and efficient, and with 3-4 common rooms to enjoy, our gang of seven felt as ease throughout. I can't recommend the place enough.

It was a delight having you and family at the villa. Chelo enjoyed the children and especially the 11 year old that spoke Spanish! We plan to be at the villa in May and will certainly inquire about the router and see about a new model. Thanks for the recommendaton. Looking to see you and family again.

We had a pleasant time at Villa Bella. The house is as it is described and the gated community is very well kept. The common area has a beautiful dual ocean view to playa Platanitos and also playa tortuga. Chelo was very friendly and helpful as well as the ground keepers. I will clarify that road leading up to the house is an unpaved dirt road, so it is a little alarming when first arriving. The location is also not very close to grocery shopping (you will need a car or taxi) and it is approximately an hour and a half drive to places like Sayulita, Puerto Vallarta, etc. La Chacala Beach is about a 30min. drive and is excellent also with several shopping options. Platanitos Beach is wonderful in itself, we loved because the food at the restaurants was very well made, delicious, clean, and very reasonably priced. The beach has small to mid sized waves and gradual which are perfect for kids that younger and just starting to boogie board. No worries that a huge waves will hurt them and no rocks- just soft sand. Overall, very relaxed and family friendly feel. Away from loud and bustling places. A true sanctuary.

Very quiet, safe and private walled in property. Beautifully maintained rooms surrounded by lush, well tended tropical gardens. The lovely pool with a dramatic waterfall was not particularly warm (no problem), but the hot tub was very comfortable, when heated, with a nice centerpiece rock for sharing a cocktail. For just the two of us this was a very spacious villa with all the amenities to accommodate a full sized family comfortably. We especially appreciated all the personal touches; family photos, artwork, a comfortable indoor sitting area with nice Mexican furniture, newer A/C units in all the bedrooms and a wonderful and extremely well equipped kitchen with a sizable cooker, new fridge/freezer and even a separate beverage fridge for all those bottles of wine... We opted for the meals package and were fed by Chelo with her very ample and varied Mexican dishes! The only thing that was a little disappointing was the internet access. Receive: 384 Kbps Send: 16.0 kbps. This is our second visit to Punta El Custodio and probably will not be our last...!!!

Paradise! This is the perfect place to escape from all the stress and hustle and bustle from the city. We had a photo shoot for our anniversary done here during our stay and it couldn’t have come out better. We had the entire property practically to ourselves no other guests in other villas, so it was completely serene and I could definitely see us returning 😉

Jossie's Villa Bella is top shelf all the way, and the flagship property of Punto el Custodio, the gated, 24/7 secure compound where the property is located. The compound is spectacular to say the least, with incredibly maintained facilities, tropical vegetation, and walkways for wherever you want to go. Unbelievable views and sunsets. Steps (literally) from the beaches and just a wonderful place. The location is secluded and will be perfect for families who are not mass turistos but more discerning and experience/quality oriented. Much has been written about the location and when to arrive, so learning how truly cool and unique that aspect of your visit will be part of the fun! We spent the night in PV and drove up early and returned early to PV on our departure. Chelo and Jasmine made superb meals every day to include breakfast on our last day, so we strongly advise on purchasing the meal plan. We enjoyed margaritas each day and watched the most incredible sunsets, surfers and whales. Yes, whales! Phenomenal bird watching too. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. MUST do’s and sees. Drive north to Mantanchen to hit the beaches up there, Playa de Cocos and Playa Isletas. Totally local, chill and safe – most importantly, worlds away from the loud and annoying big box resorts. Incredible beaches for miles. Take some time to walk along Playa de las Tortugas as well. It is totally empty and phenomenal for miles. Playa Platanitos is great for a few beach days to chill and enjoy a few ballenas and hit the surf. You can definitely walk there from the house. Every bit of your experience is family friendly, which is why we enjoyed it so much. The rooms, beds, AC, bathrooms and facilities are all top notch. No TV but we brought a laptop and a projector but only used it once. Transportation wise, we had an outstanding Suburban and we recommend a 4X4 if you intend to explore the surrounding areas. Gracias Jossie!

It was a pleasure having Ray, Jessica and family at La Villa Bella and we look forward to their next visit. Regarding the internet, I spoke with Migue and he said that he will look into the network 'mesh wifi' that can be connected to the existing cable and have access to the entire property. Another owner had asked about this type of service. He also said the zacuzzi does have a clear cover over the suction area. He will check to make sure it's in place so it doesn't create a hazard. Thank you

The house is located inside a complex atop a peninsula, the views take your breath away, the place is surrounded by vegetation , the house is very nice , has a Mexican hacienda style, with many details, each room has its own bathroom and beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything for you to prepare your food. We had an inconvenience with the pool and jacuzzi, Jossie went out of his way to try to fix it, we couldn't use the jacuzzi, but within everything else a nice place, highly recommended.

My family had an amazing time here! Jossie was amazing at responding quickly although the Wi-Fi wasn’t working that well in the master room for me to reply. Chelo and Maggie were absolutely amazing to have at the house to cook and help clean up after all of us. And Don Lupo was great too he helped to fix the air conditioning immediately for me! I am very thankful for that! The community along with all the workers gave our family a very safe and secure feeling. Thank you for everything!!

Host was fast to respond, the travel arrangements were adequate but not timely nor exquisite. The host was not on-site nor nearby. The promised driver-with-sign to greet us was not at the airport exit/customs. We needed to scramble after exiting customs to locate-by email/text/phone.The introduction to this specific property was limited The location was not described accurately. It seduced us with the ocean facing views ((available in glimpse from balconies/certain windows), when in fact it was an interior (houses in front of this property) before seeing the ocean. We stayed in this gated community on more than 6 previous occasions. This was not in the same league. Don't get me wrong. The architecture, fit-and-finish, furnishings and appliances (except for the mattresses and cushions that were sub-standard) were interesting. Most of the toilets were not separated from the common spaces or bedrooms with doors (Think beaded curtains or old-time-western barroom doors, or at-least doors that were above five feet. (open ceiling floor plan.) so if you don't mind sharing bodily functions with your partner/guests... no problem. We came, in part for the fishing - which on six previous trips was exquisite. (tuna, bonito, red snapper, Jack Crevelle, mackeral, Dorado, Sailfish. This time the most remarkable feature was whale-watching, Our "new" guide was incompetent. He had no modern fish-finding and his skills were weak. We cancelled all trips with him after the first day's disaster. Better to make your own arrangements and drive the 2+ hours to PV or find someone in San Blas with safe and modern boats/equipment. Manage your expectations. Ma

Mordechai, as he stated, has been to this compound six previous occasions and was award of the three villas located in the central portion of the compound. The staff at the office made arrangements for a van upon arrival. Again, Mordechai has been to six other villas previously, knowing that owners (American/Canadians) are not on site nor nearby, but, he could have emailed via Airbnb as He and I did multiply times prior to his arrival. All the villas have an administrator (housekeeper) from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.. La Villa bella...su hacienda is an exquisite Mediterranean Villa. Mordechai asked for a previous gentleman that took him fishing 20 years ago but had since passed again. He knows that the main office makes the arrangements for requested activities. I'm sorry to have received a negative review of the villa. Airbnb doesn't allow us to see the guest review until we submit ours. According to Chelo, she stated they were with the accommodations and his wife, Lupe, said, we'll return, But in summary, our very experienced manager stated the guests reflected a superior attitude towards her, but she strived to enhance their stay. As I stated previously, Lupe was very happy with the accommodations and would be back. Criticisms are inaccurate and UNJUST.

This place is totally awesome, the construction itself is outstanding, the attention to detail on every aspect of it is comparable to that of a high end home in the states, the privacy of the location was very surprising, the safety and the sense of tranquility is almost unreal, we did not lock a single door the entire time we were there, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the owner was very responsive to all of our questions, and the private beach in the back of the property is just the cherry on top of the cake. We definitely will be back
