This casita is a beautiful space and in a fantastic location. We loved that it felt like a tucked away oasis but was so easily accessible to the main town and the beach with a quick walk. The balconies/garden area and pool (we had all our breakfasts out on the patio!) were beautiful and well maintained and so relaxing for hanging out. The living spaces were clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and San Pancho and would happily be back! Plus the host gave us a heads up about a sea turtle release which was one of the highlights of our trip!

If I made a list of all the things I would like in a vacation home for my family, they would already be in the house, as well as a half dozen I wouldn’t have thought of. A couple of dogs bark too often, but I suppose you could say that about roosters crowing and doves cooing. My advice as a traveler, if this is available, do not hesitate to rent it.

Besides the house being nice, comfortable and in a safe area, our favorite thing about this rental are the hosts Kaleb and Paige. They were there when we needed them, which was heaven sent bcz... They're polite, very respectful, super friendly, informative of the house, area, locals, restaurants, culture, etc. Brandi was very, very attentive too.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed Casa Castillo. It's a beautiful, spacious home that is well appointed to make your stay an easy one. Our two teenagers liked having their own bedroom/bath. We cooked several meals at home, loved the pool, admired the plants, and borrowed books in the house about the area. The location is easy to manage without a car and always felt safe. Both Brandi and Paige (local host) are extremely responsive, friendly, and knowledgable. During a week-long stay, we never had a bad minute in San Pancho!

Such an amazing stay, deeply appreciative of the hosts and their beautiful space. can’t wait to visit again!

We had the opportunity to stay at Casa Castillo for a week. My husband and I were joined by one other couple in the house, though it would easily accommodate a third couple with its 3 bedrooms, each with its own dedicated bathroom. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house looks a bit ominous on the approach, with a 14-foot-tall wooden door and three stories. But inside, it is warm and welcoming. We loved the coziness of it. We spent hours on the covered patio near the pool, drinking our morning coffee and later, unwinding after a hard day of work at the beach. The host, Brandi, was amazing in how quickly she responded to questions. She even gave us a bit of history of the house after I asked, telling us it was modeled after an Irish castle by the original owners. One thing of note is that the house had a number of amenities: a basket of suntan lotions, first aid kit, towels for the beach, a rack of sunhats, and the kitchen is equipped with just enough spices.

This home is in a gated community of 7 homes. It felt very safe, and the neighbours were friendly. It is a bit of a walk to get to restaurants and the beach (10 to 15 minutes to the beach) but as a result seems much quieter than if you were closer in. There were good restaurant suggestions in the welcome book (but the book is a bit old with some info and could use some updates), and there was a couple in the community (Paige and Kaleb) that assist with any issues and were very helpful with information on things to do, cab costs, beach spots, walks, etc....Thanks Paige and Kaleb!! Brandi, the host, sent us some welcome info on a couple of local events (the Tuesday market, a turtle release, etc) without any prompting from us, so that was a nice touch. The Casa is big, clean, and a lovely spot to relax on your vacation. The kitchen is well equipped, even with some spices and condiments, there was a big jar of complimentary coffee! We would gladly stay here again.

Everything is excellent, the house is just as advertised and Brandi was always attentive and answered any questions we had quickly. On the other hand, Mayra's first-class service, she made us food and everything was delicious. We would definitely come back!

What a wonderful home for a wonderful first trip to San Pancho. Plenty of space for our family of four—made use of all the amenities and local recommendations! Brandi even messages us about a turtle release!! Local hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions. Incredible location to walk to all that San Pancho has to offer.

Casa Castillo is gorgeous! The interior is absolutely beautiful. We loved all of the beautiful outdoor spaces. The home had everything we needed for an amazing family trip. San Pancho never fails - great beach and delicious food. Highly recommend Mayra for a fun home cooked dinner at home. Overall, perfect!

Our family spent a wonderful week at Casa Castillo, enjoying every minute. The house was spacious with a large well stocked kitchen and a nice sitting area. The rooms were well sized, clean and comfortable. The AC was cold, but we just used it in the bedrooms to take the edge off, the house stayed surprisingly cool for being in the low 80’s. The outdoor space was perfect to take a quick dip in the pool and relax under the covered patio. Brandi and her co-host Paige were wonderful at every step and perfectly communicative. There are many options for houses, but I would book this house again!

What a beautiful home! Our group of three couples loved it so much! The house was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable. The pool and patio were wonderful. The grounds lovely. My AirBNB app was not working ( my fault, recently changed emails) so Brandi texted me to make sure all was well, by the end of our 8 night stay we had texted so much it felt almost as if we were friends. Paige, our cohost was also fantastic. Mayra came to cook us brunch, it was delicious! San Pancho was lovely! Everything was within walking distance of the casa, we walked in the mornings, spent the days on the beach and at night the town comes alive! The sunsets are amazing, the whole community comes down to the beach to see them. We even had the pleasure of seeing baby turtles being released into the sea. Recommend by Brandi. I could not recommend this more. If you are considering staying here, do it! You will not be disappointed.

Brandi's place was even more beautiful in person! Each room has it's own bathroom and the attention to detail in the decor was spectacular. The house was spacious and beautiful. Could not have dreamt up a better place to stay. The house itself is on a private street with and is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This place was paradise. It was all we hoped for and more. Everything is as described and communication was top-notch. The home is impressively clean and beds were comfortable. We loved the location and would 100% stay here again. Thank you for everything!

We stayed for 2 weeks over the winter break and had such a great time! The house was in a great location, walkable to all the restaurants. We were a family of 5 and there was plenty of space for us. It was super clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed. It felt very secure as it’s in a gated street. We had a great stay and Brandi was very responsive and gave us recommendations for watching baby turtles being released into the ocean. She also helped us find somewhere to eat on Christmas Day when a lot of places were closed. We really appreciate the effort she put into helping us. Thanks for a great stay!

Pictures do not do this place justice. Beautiful house and yard. Excellently laid out en-suite’s. Well stocked kitchen with all the extras (coffee, spices, paper towels and a few cold bevy’s in the fridge). Very welcoming and responsive host/hostess nearby. If you’re looking for a place to comfortably accommodate a family or group of friends, look no farther. We’ll be back.

Casa Castillo truly is a castle! What an amazing place to stay, you won’t regret it. Security, privacy, beautiful home furnishings, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding, and a quiet, friendly neighborhood. They even had honey for my tea and delicious coffee to start our stay off right. This was our first Airbnb experience and now we are spoiled! Brandi is fantastic and very quick to respond. All expectations on this home were met. We all felt at home the moment we got there. There was a slight issue with the water on second day and we sent a 6am text message to which we received an immediate response. It was resolved within the hour and host went above and beyond to not only make sure it would never happen again, but dropped off a flat of beer for our very minor inconvenience! It was good to be so well taken care of and know that our needs were a top priority. All the photos provided are a true representation of this home and not photoshopped or 10 years old, which has been the case with other rentals we have been to. I have told all our friends they need to visit San Pancho specifically to book this home and enjoy the paradise it really is. And if you are reading this review, I say book it now. You will be glad you did. And buy the roasted chicken from the lady on the corner!

Our stay at Brandi’s house was everything we expected plus more, from the security, comfort, location and the great response that we received when questions where asked was great. Looking forward to staying there again. Mario

This is a breathtaking place and we felt instantly at home. It’s beautifully decorated and the layout was perfect. There are so many little patios to have a morning coffee and hideaway. The sun hits the pool around noon and that’s where you’ll want to stay. But venturing out was so easy with this location. A quick walk into downtown where you’ll eat the best food you’re ever going to find. San pancho is forever in our hearts. Our hosts were super responsive and had tips along the way. There is also a helpful booklet with everything you need to know. Our group can’t say enough about this experience. And we will be back!

Very new home that was well stocked. Very private and secure. Easy walk to downtown restuarants (10 min) and easy walk to both microbrewries (10 min). Beach is only 15 min. away. If you dont like to walk like we do there is a gated carport you can store a golf cart in. They rent for approx. $50 per day. We recommend taking advantage of the Polo Club pool right on the beach. Well worth the $25 per day with full service food and bar.

This is an incredible place. You won’t regret staying here. The hosts are wonderful and the home is basically a castle. Loved it!
