We had an amazing time that weekend with my family. The facilities are impeccable, the service from both Bruce and the service girls was excellent, and the food prepared by the cook is very tasty. I highly recommend the villa for your stay.
I'm definitely not coming back. The house is fine. Yes, it matches the photos and all that. However, there are things that, from my point of view, are super important. The master bedroom does not have hot water in the shower. Despite the warm weather, I think it's necessary. Some things lack maintenance. There were several details that we didn't like. But the most important thing is that at no time did we feel privacy or trust. The staff did not make us feel at home (unlike other AirBNBs). We felt watched. Personally, they treated me well, but they were very curt with my family. I completely regret having agreed to have them cook for us. There was no transparency from the moment the bills were given. It was actually more convenient for us when we went out to eat at restaurants. The last night, we decided to have dinner with what was "left over" and we left everything clean so there would be no problem. The cook questioned us and it was uncomfortable. It doesn't fit everything that...
A very nice house. It's not new, but it's well maintained. It's a very spacious house that can easily and comfortably accommodate up to 15 adults. It has an amazing view of Manzanillo Bay, and most importantly, the staff in charge of cleaning and cooking are very friendly, and the food is delicious. I would definitely come back.
Beautiful view, good location and I loved the heated jacuzzi.
We couldn’t have asked for a better location for a family reunion. The house wonderful. We enjoyed whale watching from the pool. Great meals from the excellent staff Yocelina, Kata, and Ana. Comfortable beds and incredible views. Walking distance to the marina and Casa Luna nightclub.

This place was a great place to stay. Plenty of rooms for multiple people. Great location close to beach and restaurants. House was great, would gladly stay there again. The kids enjoyed the pool and view. Great staff

This is our second trip here and would continue coming back. They are amazing hosts. Very descriptive with everything and they prepare everything for your arrival. We had to drive four hours to get here and we wanted an early start so the kids could enjoy the beach. Problem was we took transportation that was dropping us off. Bruce allowed us to drop off all our things in the garage and then come back for check in. We really appreciated that. We knew if people were still there or not checked out yet we couldn’t but the fact that we struck luck and they allowed it was awesome.
The house is very nice, the view is impressive, the staff's service is very good. Jocelyn cooks very well and always had the dishes we ordered ready. As a comment, I would only mention that I think the pool has too much chlorine and it is a little annoying for the skin after some time, otherwise it's incredible.
Me and my family stayed for 3 nights at the villa. The staff was very friendly and prepared great meals. Bruce was always available to answer any questions or help us navigate the villa. Would highly recommend for big groups visiting Manzanillo.

Our stay at La Querencia was everything we hoped for. It felt homey and the views were absolutely gorgeous! The staff was great and very accommodating. Bruce was very helpful and responded quickly!
We loved it. The place is amazing. The service from the staff is great. The view is amazing. The fact that all bedrooms have a bathroom is amazing. The Audiencia beach is very close. The breakfast was was delicious. We will come back!
A residential villa as shown in the photos, a spectacular view, very good service from the host as well as the housekeeper and very friendly cooks, they always kept everything clean and the food they prepared was very tasty.

Great place to stay at in Manzanillo. Housing is open yet rooms stay cool. Plenty of room for lounging, great areas to enjoy eating inside or outside. The house sits on top of the hill, you can walk to la audiencia beach but it is like a 15-25 minute walk, but again it’s on a hill so be prepared. The kitchen staff were very helpful and food was great. They are very knowledgeable of the area and can arrange tours or recommend activities in the area. The house has a pool and hot tub, hot tub doesn’t seem like it gets too hot but it’s still enjoyable. The rooms are separated throughout the house by stairs so just be careful with little ones. Overall the place was a great stay, we had 16 people in our group adults and kids, can easily Uber to neighboring grocery stores and eateries.

As we have many guests that have children, for their safety, the jacuzzi temperature is set to 38C.
The house looks just as the pictures. We were a family of 16 and it was the perfect house for us. The views are incredible. Most importantly the staff went above and beyond for us. Claudia the chef was amazing. No matter what she cooked the food was delicious ! The groundskeeper did an amazing job in keeping the home clean. Everything was spotless. Definitely recommend this beautiful tranquil home for your next family vacation!
Very nice stay, a place with areas that encourage socializing and relaxation, with a wonderful view.
As Mexicans and very family-oriented, we all enjoyed this lovely stay. My children loved the pool area, my wife and my mother-in-law were relaxed, and one of us kept an eye on the house, as we were visited twice by someone without prior notice. I feel there is a lot of work to be done in that area, as we take care of each other as a family. The food prepared by Ms. Claudia was delicious, and Ms. Esther's assistance was truly warm, which gave us confidence during our stay. Unfortunately, they scratched the door of a car that was parked outside the parking lot, but I didn't want to pursue the matter further. I know there are cameras, but not to monitor those outside. Other than that, it was fine. Best regards.
The location of the house is the best, the view it has is spectacular. We were able to witness the New Year's Eve show from the best place. It is quite spacious and Claudia (cook) and Esther (waitress) is very good. Claudia makes it very rich and Esther keeps everything very clean and is very friendly. The pool is not heated, for the date (December) it would have been desirable. You have the jacuzzi, which at first had some details with its operation, but in a few days they were resolved and Bruce was always attentive to requests and had a quick response. The photographs shown reflect as the house is.
The property was as advertised. However, what stood out was the service, both the host and his staff on site. The cook, Claudia, should not be called a cook. She is a chef. Typically, we like to venture out and eat at local spots. With her, we did not have a need to do so. All the meals she prepared were on point. Of note were the aguachiles and chilaquiles. Esther, the housekeeper was attentive to our needs as well. We travelled with younger children and she was very accommodating to their sleeping schedule. Santiago, the gardener was also very helpful. The host, Bruce, was extremely responsive. We had a need for a Dr during Christmas eve and Bruce was very quick to get us a resource. This was late in the night and he was very helpful. Something we did not expect would happen. Because of all these reasons, this itinerary remains an option in the future for us.
The host is always attentive to anything, good service from everyone, the house is very nice and has a beautiful view, recommended.
We are repeat guests at the property and we always have a great time, Claudia, Alejandra, Esther, Sergio are very attentive. The food prepared by the cooks was very tasty. We left them instructions and everything was fine. You just have to keep an eye on all the things you want in your meal because they forget some things. The seasoning 10/10. They offer to go get things like ice or napkins, among other things. They also give you recommendations for nearby restaurants. Communication with Bruce was very good. NOTE: there is no opportunity to check in early, and check-out is on time. There are no stores nearby either, I recommend bringing all your supplies. The pool had a lot of chlorine :( some of my friends' skin stung and the jacuzzi had no bubbles, just hydro. The nearest beach is the one at the Hotel Las Hadas, but they are super strict there, a little rude to outsiders.

Regarding check in and check out times, as we are one of the most popular and busiest AirBnb properties in the area, we keep strict times so that we have the necessary time needed to clean, maintain and prepare the house between guests’ departures and arrivals, which allows us to provide the quality of service that makes us a highly rated property and AirBnb SuperHost. Regarding nearby shops for supplies, there are a Kiosko and OXXO just a few minutes away, as well as the La Comer grocery store and a Walmart that are nearby. Perhaps because Monica and her guests did not have their own transportation, the nearby shop locations were not convenient, but in those cases, taxis are available as well our staff can help. Regarding the chlorine in the swimming pool and jacuzzi, the chemicals are checked daily, and are maintained within the recommended values. The house manager says that when he was told of the concern that he showed them that the chlorine levels were ok. Regarding the beach that is at the Las Hadas hotel, that beach and other hotel facilities are for the exclusive use of the hotel guests. The Las Hadas hotel does offer day passes for purchase by non hotel guests which permit use of their beach, pool and includes a breakfast, lunch and some beverages. The nearest public beach for use by guests of Villa La Querencia is the Playa Audencia which is a short 5 minute drive down the hill and is visible from the Villa rooftop terrace.
The hotel service is very good, the food is exceptional, and the house was always kept clean and tidy. The view is amazing, the best I've ever had, and although it rained, I really enjoyed how the whole landscape looked, and the boats that come into view are great. ....... My whole family had a very comfortable time.... The pool water is at an excellent temperature, whether it rains or not, and the jacuzzi is super relaxing with warm water all the time. Although I expected a more modern and larger house for the cost I paid, the truth is that it's worth it simply because you don't have to lift a finger for anything. The staff is always available... and they give you all the directions you need.

We can’t say much more than everything was AMAZING! The pictures don’t do it justice. The home and views are amazing. You can see sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. The staff was wonderful. So attentive and helpful and the food was DELICIOUS!!! They truly spoiled us and will miss them!! Everything they made was amazing and we even asked for a few recipes. And with a group of 13, eating at the home was the best!!

We had an excellent stay, we had a few days of rest as a family and in general everything was great, the house had a spectacular view and a lot of comfort, the staff was very attentive to making sure our stay was pleasant.

We had a great stay at the house, everything was wonderful, the rooms were very down and looked just like the description, Esther did a amazing job at keeping everything clean and pristine and was very attentive to our needs. The food was amazing, Claudia is a great and really shows she loves what she does. Over all our stay was great, we enjoyed the home and would come back again.

Everything is very good, from the arrival the staff in charge welcomed us very kindly, they showed up and gave us a tour of the house, the view that the place has is incredible, the food prepared for us by the cook and her very delicious assistant!!! They were attentive to anything we needed but maintaining our privacy, I would come back without thinking! It's like we were in a hotel because they fix your room and cook you but privately just for your family... we were 16 family members and we were all delighted, thank you very much for everything!!!

A breathtaking view at Bruce’s place. Really no need to leave this gorgeous home and it’s surroundings. The staff was friendly, Claudia and Lilio made fantastic meals, both the pool and hot tub were enjoyed often. Sunrises and sunsets stunning. We would have enjoyed access to cook some of our own meals, but we sat back and enjoyed the pampering. Check in time can be a bit tight, luckily some of our party were able to make check in time and I would believe Bruce would have accommodated otherwise. Water in the showers needs to run a bit before the hot water arrives. Overall. A lovely and relaxing Thanksgiving stay.

Bruce and Charlen provided such great accommodations and an excellent staff to meet your needs. The home is very beautiful and comfortable to relax and enjoy a beautiful scenery of the bay. This house and its staff is truly amazing. Lulu, Claudia (in the kitchen), Alondra and Santiago made our experience staying during our Christmas vacation extraordinary!! They are what makes the house so special. The home has the most beautiful view, we traveled during COVID and we never felt the need to leave the home. The bedrooms are located in different areas of the house so you always had privacy and space if you needed some quiet time away from the group. The house staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and as if you were staying at a 5 star hotel. Claudia prepared the most delicious and fabulous Christmas dinner.. she never hesitated to serve any and all our menu wishes. It was so easy to arrange our activities with the help from Alan who helped us arrange several activities at the house and out of the house. I can't say enough good things!!
This place is nice, the location is one of the kind. The service provided by Lulu, Claudia and Alondra was first class. They all make you feel at home and Santiago is also ready to help keeping the property in shape. There is only one thing we did not like at all. The cameras Inside the property! Instead of making me and my family feel safe, We felt it was a HUGE violation of our privacy. Where is this streaming going to ? Who needs to see it ? Why a Camera inside the kitchen ? What if my wife or any other of our guess decides to go and get a glass of milk topless ? I understand having cameras outside the property, I have them myself in my home in the USA. But inside is a no no in my book!!

Information regarding any security cameras on site are disclosed in the listing. All outside cameras are for the perimeter of the property for the security and safety of the property and the guests. There is a camera in the kitchen that is disclosed and is turned off and also covered up when guests are on the property.
This house is incredible! Great location with amazing views. The house is super clean and comfortable. I will say that the on site staff are really what stand out to me. Lourdes and our chef Claudia were amazing! My sister has an upset stomach during out stay and Lourdes was so kind as to prepare her a tea that really helped. Claudia is an amazing chef and really outdid herself for each meal. She also does a killer margarita! Santiago did a great job behind the scenes ensuring the pool and jacuzzi were clean and the grounds looked beautiful. I truly have nothing negative to say about the villa. Overall it was an amazing experience and am looking forward to returning some day soon. Muchas gracias Lourdes, Claudia y Santiago!
This is an absolutely beautiful house with gorgeous views,,, my girlfriends and I had a wonderful time, and we are so thankful to the staff that made our stay so special, we fall in love with them, Claudia, Malena, Lulú and Santiago will make you fell like a movie star,,,, :)

it is an excellent house for an incredible vacation, the staff always attentive and on the slope, good taste of the cook, they always kept the place clean, in relation to the beach we are 5 minutes by car, without problems we would return to that place and has a spectacular view of the sea

I definitely want to come back. The house is very well taken care of. The location is great! The staff that takes care of you was probably my favorite. Very good people and they cook delicious. We never wanted to eat anywhere else during our stay. This place is just beautiful.
The service of the people who attend is excellent, as a recommendation, make the purchases because the one who makes them members of the staff quite increases the price. The kitchen is excellent, there is an excellent chef. as a negative point I would say that the unheated pool is too cold and the pool beds uncomfortable and old, they need remodeling the pool furniture.
The house is very nice with an excellent view. It is very close to the entrance to playa la Audiencia. Your Staff is amazing, they made us eat very rich, they kept the house super clean and looked after us wonderfully. The host was very friendly from the start, always responded right away. It has a very parent jacuzzi and quite a few rooms to choose from. The pool is very nice but we could not take much advantage of it because the water seemed very cold, surely on warm dates it will be an excellent option.

The house is great, amazing view and clean but the staff at hand made the experience truly remarkable, I don’t know how much you are get paid, but let me tell you whatever it is they are worth it, their attentive nature made the short stay truly unforgettable, they were professional yet friendly, and truly Made a difference in our stay!!! Don’t let them go!! Lulu, Santiago and the ladies in the kitchen are amazing!!! The food was awesome!!! And the staff very attentive, the only hiccup was the jacuzzi was never really hot, warm but not hot, but it was not a big deal. The rooms are very nice and the privacy is great, you always feel safe. Thank you it was a great couple of days!!!

It's really worth it. The cooks are sweet and always left the table set for us, which was amazing. The cleanliness of the rooms is also something to highlight, as well as Lulu. She's sweet and always made us laugh. I went with my friends, and the pool was really cool. The jacuzzi and all the amenities were truly incredible. the only defect I can find is that is not at the foot of the sea, but the view is phenomenal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The house is as described in the photographs, it is wonderful that each room has its own bathroom, all have air conditioning and a fan, the advantage of having lourdes ( housekeeper) , Claudia and andrea ( cooks) are the best part of the stay, the rooms clean them every day, you can go to the beach to relax and leave what you are going to eat, return and have everything served, you are totally carefree to cook, all the very friendly and helpful staff, I would definitely return, the only one and a big one but what we put it was that some baskets came out: We understand that the area is a cramped but maybe a little more smoking would not be wrong, thank you for everything! My family and I will definitely be back.
Hi all ! If you come across this property , & my review ,it’s fate. You’re meant to go and enjoy not only the spectacular house views , but also everything the house has to offer . A family trip of 16 people is never easy to plan ,nor acomódate everyone’s wants and needs but Bruce and his house staff made it possible . Their was really no reason to ever leave the house. Even when we did , we returned back to what felt like home ,thanks to Lulu! The rooms are always air conditioned and freshly cleaned . The pool and jacuzzi are also clean and mighty enjoyable & hard to Leave . Bruce always answered every question I had and accommodated changes without any hesitation and makes the booking extremely easy . Lulu was our live in host and helped with absolutely everything, truly felt like family and I can actually say I loved her vibes ,The sweetest soul ,and it never felt as if she was always around or intruding on anything, on the contrary , the entire family always looked for her and wanted her around .My family & I absolutely loved everything about this trip and I can’t thank Bruce & his staff enough for sharing a home and allowing it to be ours too. It’s heaven on earth and I can’t wait to go back !

The place is amazing, the view of the house towards the sea is very nice, and you can see it from almost every room. The staff members made the stay much more comfortable. 100% recommended, some cleaning details in the bathrooms but in general everything was very good.
My family and I loved the place it was exactly what we was looking for, Lulu made us feel like we was home .. nice house with a beautiful view and you can’t beat the price for all 16 ppl it was better then we expected.. we had 2 small issues with the ac in 2 of the rooms one ran out of gas but was immediately resolved the second one was a little dangerous since the ac fell to the floor but im pretty sure Bruce will fix this in no time. We will definitely come back sometime soon
The House is huge and a lot of spaces to sleep in, the pool is excellent and the service also great, there is almost no need to go out of the house if on vacation. WIF coverage Excellent.
We couldn’t be happier with our stay at La Querencia! The property is gorgeous with a view to die for with all the privacy you could ask for. The staff was amazing, Lulu welcomed us and gave us a tour of the property as soon as we arrived (we picked our rooms) and introduced us to Adelina our chef. Adelina had prepared a delicious carne asada and margaritas for dinner which we enjoyed as the sun set. The ladies and Santiago took great care of us, always keeping the property tidy and the fridge stocked with drinks and snacks we asked for, great service. Our family was very impressed with La Querencia and all its beauty that I know we will return, not for the town but for the house amenities, views and space. We enjoyed Adelina’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner; It is authentic Mexican food! The whole experience is recommended, you won’t be disappointed.
The view was wonderful! The bedrooms were nice, cold, and comfortable. Very clean and neat. However we went two days with no water, we could not shower, go to the bathroom, it was awful. The staff was very friendly how ever the up charge on groceries for meals was outrageous. After we received the bill for the first meal we decided to eat out for all meals. Cost to eat out for the 3 additional days was less than the first meal.

Regarding the water issue, there was a rare, unfortunate and unexpected issue with the local water system when a large pump of the local utility company failed and had to be replaced. This affected many of the houses including other vacation rental properties on the peninsula in the area. The villa staff provided as much assistance as they could in this unfortunate situation. The guests had their bottled water to drink. Although inconvenient, the toilets were made flushable by using water from the pool to refill the tanks. We are very sorry that this happened, but the outage was out of our control. Regarding the food services at the Villa, per our information in the listing we say, “The Villa will provide the cook for your stay. All food and beverage expenses are the responsibility of the guests. These typically average between $ 20-$ 25 USD per guest per day. Alcohol and Seafood can increase this expense.” There is no “upcharge” or markup for the food and beverages, as guests will reimburse the cook for the actual amounts spent for the meals and beverages. The initial bill presented to the guest for a reimbursement request was NOT for just the first meal as indicated by the guest. It included the initial stocking of basic provisions and beverages for their stay, plus alcohol and groceries for the first day lunch/snack/margaritas as well as that night’s seafood dinner and first mornings breakfast, as was coordinated with the guest prior to their arrival. The initial reimbursement request for this guest was about $ 22 USD per day per person which is within the advertised daily average per person.
