4BR Villa in Puerto Vallarta

Excellent, 1 year ago

This house is absolutely amazing. The location is very beautiful, high up on a hillside overlooking Mismaloya beach. Every sunset is more amazing than the last. The caretakers, Fide and Rogelio, are incredible hosts. It was honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. I am very excited to make a return trip with my family someday.

We were delighted with everything, Rogelio's attention and fide was spectacular as well as all its food, the views you can appreciate are incredible. We highly recommend it.

Jose was always available and extremely helpful. The staff, Rogelio and Fide were the best ever....their cooking, serving, availability for every need was fantastic, really above all expectations and super accommodating in every way!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for attention to detail and a beautiful base to visit PV and several local beaches in the area. Our group loved this place!!! I selected Casa Buenavista out of a relatively large array of options (including Garza Blanca) I was considering in Puerto Vallarta for a week-long vacation for my family (two adults & two young children). I couldn't be happier about the decision. The property is fantastic and is accurately depicted in the listing; Jose is incredibly responsive and goes out of his way to ensure you'll be taken care of; and the team (Fide, Rogelio, and Merida) is first-rate. They work to customize the trip around your requirements and genuinely care about your experience. I am 100% planning to return. On a side note, I would highly recommend having Jose connect you with his friend to spend a day exploring the area by boat.

Casa Buenavista is a dream come true. We enjoyed 5 glorious days there with our two sons and their wives. One son said it was the best vacation he'd ever had. The villa is immaculate. Every room is beautifully decorated and furnished for comfort. That the view from Casa Buenavista is spectacular is a given. We sat on the upstairs patio or by the pool, drinking our morning coffee, watching whales frolic and pelicans dive for fish in the bay. We spent most days lounging by the pools, laughing, and reconnecting with each other. Fide's outstanding margaritas helped--the best any of us had ever tasted. Speaking of Fide, the absolute highlight of our stay at Casa Buenavista was the food. Every meal prepared by Fide, Merida, and Rogelio was absolutely delectable. (I wish I had asked her for the recipe for her avocado sauce. So so good.) Incredible place with incredibly attentive staff. We loved it.

This place is incredible! The house itself was clean, and very spacious! The staff was amazing, they went above and beyond which made our trip. We were traveling for a bachelorette party with 9 girls and they took the best care of us from cooking, cleaning, transportation, bringing ice coolers down by the pool, ordering covid tests - they were spectacular! Fide and Ester made the most incredible food! We are still dreaming about the tacos, and fajitas, and rice, and omlets! All amazing. They accommodate multiple dietary restrictions and diets within our group. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Casa Buenavista is an incredible home, and if you can believe it, it's even more beautiful in person than the photos! We arrived to fresh margaritas, a large spread of food, and that set the tone for the rest of the trip! Fide, Esther and Rogelio took such amazing care of us and made sure our trip was as easy as possible. They grabbed groceries, drove us to pick up our own groceries (and into town, etc), cooked, cleaned, and made sure we were able to just relax. The rooms and house are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a large group. And you can't ask for a better view! I cannot recommend enough!

We had such an incredible vacation at Casa Buenavista. Fide and Rogelio took amazing care of us far beyond anything I would have imagined. We had 4 adults and 6 kids at the house an everyone had an amazing time. Food at the house, drinks poolside, trips to the beach and trips to PV were all handled with ease from Fide and Rogelio. They were true professionals. It was nothing but hugs and thank you when we had to leave and truly felt like they cared about us having a great time for the week. Jose, the owner, was the most attentive ABNB host ever and checked in before, during and after the trip to make sure everything was what we expected and needed. It certainly was! The food, the drinks (Fide's margarita's are spectacular) and the view will all be missed.

Our family just had a wonderful time at this staffed home! All of our meals were prepared for us daily (from Coconut shrimp to Pozole). Food was excellent, we didn’t have to clean up after ourselves once and Rogelio happily took us around town whenever we asked. The house is about 45mins from the airport and 30 from old town PV. But there is no better view in PV! Huge, gorgeous outdoor eating space and pool areas. We traveled with 2 littles and they helped to accommodate us with baby gear too. House does have a lot of stairs as it’s on 3 floors with bedrooms spread out. Not all stair ways have rails, so just keep that in mind if traveling with kids or elderly. Rooms are all large with ensuite baths and King size beds. Our party was very comfortable and all had privacy. Getting to the beach on foot is possible with a very steep 10-15min walk, but Rogelio is also happy to drive you. Overall great memories!

This Airbnb home was by far the best home I’ve ever stayed at. It was big enough for nine guest. So much space for everyone’s privacy and the views were amazing. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Fidel and the rest of the house staff were so warming upon our arrival. The food that was prepared and made for us was absolutely delicious and tasteful. Seriously, the experience was more than what we expected. Pictures do not do this place justice. I definitely recommend Casa Buenavista to my family and friends. Again, thank you!

This place’s description does not do it justice. Fide, Rogelio and Estelle were so accommodating and kind. They took note of our likes and made sure there was plenty, including fresh avocado for our little one. Rogelio took us to the beach with ease and made daily trips on our behalf for more groceries and drinks. And can we pause to say how delicious the food was. We came with a professional chef and he was amazed as well. The team here has a lot of love for the house and guests. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone l looking for a relaxing vacation spot. And also the views are absolutely amazing!! I’m so sad our vacation is over.

Let me start out by saying this property is beyond BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! The pictures really do not do it justice at all. It is very spacious and have a view that is absolutely breathtaking. Each room is decorated to perfection and fits the Mexico aesthetic. The staff is beyond accommodating and went above and beyond for my friends and me. Everything exceeded our expectations. I will mention to have someone who can speak a little Spanish. The staff speaks mostly Spanish so it will be easier on both parties if you have someone who understands/speaks a little bit of Spanish. If I ever visit Puerto Vallarta again this will be my go to stay.

The food was amazing! The views from the house are spectacular. Fide, Rogelio and Esther took really good care of us and made our stay extra pleasant. The house was very clean upon arrival. Highly recommend. The beach is only a 5-10min walk.

This place is very nice and spacious, plenty of room for a large party to enjoy. The staff was excellent to meet our needs and even take us to the city and back for dinners. Very lovely place and worth the stay.

Wonderful week in this beautiful home with an amazing view. It’s actually as good as it looks in the pics! Loved everything about the house-the bedrooms are all separate, enough pool chairs and towels, beautiful spaces to relax. FYI, there are steps to every room but even grandma was fine. Bit of a walk to the beach but not as bad as it looked! Our meals prepared by the staff served on the beautiful ocean view table were the highlights of our days. Every meal was beautifully done and the food was so very tasty. We asked for all Mexican dishes and everything was wonderful. Drinks and guacamole, special requests like my picky sons wish for a frozen pizza, chocolate pie were all given with a smile. They also tidied our rooms which was a treat!

Casa Buenavista is incredible! What a find! Our host Jose was so responsive and also made sure to check in on us during our stay to see that everything was perfect and to our liking. The location of the villa is fantastic and you can never get tired of that incredible view. This villa is beautiful and extremely clean, with extra touches throughout. What really sets this villa apart is Fide and Rogelio the staff. They are so attentive and kind. Fide is an awesome cook. Every meal was so delicious and fresh. Fide cooks with love and it shows in her food. We were a party of 6 girls and I was there to celebrate my 50th birthday. Fide made grilled lobster, with creamy potatoes and fresh cooked vegetables. It was one of the best meals of my life and what a way to celebrate. I would highly recommend renting this villa. Thanks Jose, Fide and Rogelio! We will be back!

Wonderful Staff! EVERY meal was 5 star- They went above and beyond to make all 10 of us happy.. and with 4 vegetarians within 6 children, that's no small task. The sunset views from the deck were amazing Every night... Make sure to have someone in the group maybe know a Teensy bit of spanish ... it helps with communicating with the chefs, as well as the driver. They are both very patient and will go above and beyond:) A+++

The house is beautiful with an incredible view! Fide cooked a wonderful breakfast and dinner for us everyday. We had 10 people staying, 2 families and she was able to cook for us with no problem. We just told her what time we would like meals and they were ready. Rogelio picked us up at the airport with no problems and was available if anything was needed. He took us to the grocery store to shops for any extra food we wanted. The house had 4 good size bedrooms each with a king size bed and a loft area that had 2 comfortable twin beds that were built in and doubled as sofas during the day and pull out sofa. Perfect for us since we had college age boys that could use that area. The area has a beach down the road that we did not use but they have many boats for hire there that can take you snorkeling or to other beaches. We did that twice and it was amazing and very reasonably priced. The boat owners are very friendly and knowledgeable.

We do a Girls Weekend vacation over Labor Day every year and have stayed at many rental locations. The chef here is literally one of the best. Her heuvos rancheros, enchiladas, carne asada, fajitas, literally every meal was incredibly prepared. The property is exactly as pictured ... beautiful place + beautiful views and incredible sunsets. This would be a nice couple and trip destination as each of the 4 bedrooms are private and have their own bathrooms. The property owners are very responsive. I suggested the host add a welcome book with meal options, local activities etc for non-Spanish speaking guests like ourselves. Would recommend to other group guests looking for a long weekend away.

We had an amazing time at Casa Buenavista! The house has four large bedrooms (two of which are proper master suites), so it was great for us as we were two families. Fide and Rogelio are AMAZING. Fide cooked us breakfast and dinner everyday, and there was more than enough for leftovers to tide us over for lunch the following days. And the food was great! She cooked whatever we asked for. Fide also was fantastic about keeping the house spotless! She even did our laundry. Seriously, there aren't enough words to say how amazing they were, beginning from picking us up at the airport. The house, is high up on a hill with the most amazing views of the bay. You will have gorgeous sunsets every night. However, there are quite a bit of steps throughout the house. That was not a problem for us, but if you have toddlers or elderly guests with you, it may be problematic. We were with three kids (ages 4-6) and we had no issues. The two pools are good sizes, and the small one is perfect for little kids (only about 2 1/2 feet depth). There is a small beach (Mismaloya) at the bottom of the street with some beachside restaurants and shops. The zoo is within walking distance, which was a nice treat for the kids. We can't recommend this property enough. Jose was a wonderful host. He checked in with us prior to the trip and during the week. When we had difficulty locating Rogelio at the airport (it was spring break and packed!) I was able to get a hold of Jose immediately and we figured it out.

Space: Casa Buenavista was very spacious with 4 bedroom suites located on separate levels offering privacy. There is a small loft space near the entrance that can fit an air mattress as well. However, the space we used the most was the outdoor dining area/balcony and pool area which both overlook a spectacular view. Perfect for morning tea, afternoon cocktail and family game night. One thing to note if you have small children is that the house has lots of steps since its split level so you have to keep an extra close eye on active toddlers. The evening sunset will make up for it though :) Location: About 45 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the restaurants and shops near "Old Town." There is a public beach with little beachside restaurants down the hill and across the street from the house. Good for both kids and adults. About a 10 minute walk. Staff: While the house offers breathtaking views and poolside relaxation, I'd have to say that the experience the house staff provided was the highlight of my trip. Property manager, Rojellio and his wife Fide were an absolute delight. Tip: they don't speak much english so it's helpful if you know a little Spanish. Convenient transportation: Trips to the beach, grocery, old town, airport, etc (in Rollejio's 7-person suburban). Private chef: Some of the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had. I'm still dreaming about the fresh (daily) guacamole. You can set a menu upon arrival or simply tell them any allergies and they'll surprise you! Tip: Ask for the enchiladas. On top of all of this, the Casa was nice and tidy every day.
