Mark and co. were great hosts and the place was incredible! Clean, very nice bedrooms and bathrooms, good A/C, amazing coffee, and of course the beautiful pool overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend if you are staying in the area.

Mark and his crew was very attentive and made sure we didn’t need anything. Mark also has the best recommendations on things to do. The house was awesome and the area was perfect for our 9 person group trip.

Mark and his team went above and beyond for our family! I would highly recommend staying at this place and would definitely do so again. Mark was overly communicative and never did I have to ask them for information, as it was in the desire or in the messages that came leading up to the trip. Perfect place for a family, each room was its own mini suite. Plenty to do in the area, especially with the Guide that was left behind for us. Thank you Mark and Team!

My friends and I stayed here for my birthday and I was awesome. All five of us each had our own rooms and bathrooms. The pool was refreshing and it was easy to walk downtown to the bars and restaurants. The host was responsive and very knowledgeable of the area. I would definitely stay here again.

I can’t recommend enough Villa Amistad. We had the luck of staying here for a family member’s 40th birthday and rented out the entire villa (12 of us in total). This place is amazing! Spacious, beautifully decorated and overall one of the best AirBNBs we’ve experienced. We also took advantage of some of the concierge services and had groceries brought in and had an amazing brunch with some outside guests included. Mark, John, and the entire staff at Villa Amistad are lovely. All of them are extremely helpful and do an awesome job at making the stay a great experience. We’ll be back!

Great villa, great view, friendly host and staff -- 5/5 would stay again

Mark and staff were amazing hosts! The virtual guidebook that he provides in advance is amazing and answers any questions you would have. The concierge service provided was so amazing and Faby was amazing and quick to respond. I only have one concern to mention and that would be if you are older or have any type of walking issues this is probably not for you. The streets (alley way) to the front door is cobblestone and dirt/gravel and easy to slip/fall. There are also quite a bit of stairs to get to the villas. I loved the Villa and it is centrally located to the center of the downtown (Malecon). Beautiful view.

This Airbnb is incredible- probably the nicest one I’ve ever stayed at. Not only we’re the views perfect, but everything inside was great as well- we especially loved that it had the water filtration system. It was so spacious and everything was so clean. Mark was so helpful and responsive - he greeted us when we arrived and gave us a walk through of everything and was always available if we needed him. I will be rebooking this the next time I’m in town!

What an amazing stay we had here! The Airbnb was beautiful, large, and clean. The amenities were fantastic and the views were incredible. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and great communicators. We appreciated how thoughtful they were and enjoyed all their local recommendations. They made our trip to Puerto Vallarta really special.

We were a group of 9 and we all enjoyed our stay. Easy access to everything and the checking in and out process was straight forward. Also, we contacted Faby the concierge recommended and she was great.

Mark was a great host. Extensive guidebook to use for anything you wish to do. Helpful staff. The place was spotless and the top floor had great sunset views. Would stay again.

First time visiting PV and booking this Villa is by far one of the best decisions we made! We were a group of 6, visiting for a quick getaway and booked the entire place. We stayed for 3 nights total. Some highlights: Cleanliness - 10/10. The entire Villa complex was clean and the host arranged for cleaning services throughout our stay. Exceeded expectations Accuracy - The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a beautiful home on a hill. Your balcony view faces the pool, with the ocean in the background. It's beautiful by day, and an incredible view at night. Communication - Strong communication from the hosts. Hosts were very knowledgeable and insightful with recommendations in PV. Messages answered within the hour. Location - Great location. Right in the heart of Centro and walking distance to Zona Romantica. There's a lot of restaurants, shops, galleries, and bars nearby. Some of the best nightclubs are walking distance. The villa is on a hill and there is a small walk but the views are worth it. Check-in - Really strong communication from the hosts prior to check-in. They were flexible with out group's sporadic arrival times. Villa details are shared prior to arrival (wifi, passcode, etc). There's a quick orientation with the hosts on your first day where they give you a ton of good info on the Villa and PV. Value - 11/10. We got a ton of value from the stay. Would definitely stay again!

Mark was kind and really helpful! The house was lovely and in a perfect location.

Mark was super helpful and communicative. His assistant Faby was great and organized our COVID test. The house was super clean, beds were very very comfortable. The common area was fantastic and large enough for larger group gatherings. Minus being a little walk uphill (no issue if you’re Ubering around town), I’d absolutely stay here again.

We stayed at Villa Amistad for 9’days and it was absolutely perfect nice and quiet close to the beach and the pool was so great on hot days. Mark and John were excellent hosts and even had 2 bottles of chilled wine waiting for us. The entire place was spotlessly clean and comfortable.I will be staying here again.

Our stay at Villa Amistad was awesome! The unit itself was very clean and all the renovations done to it was amazing. Our host John was extremely nice and helpful from the get go and made our stay very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this booking.

Mark was an amazing host, always anticipating any need. The property is beautiful located on a hill and within a short walk to the Malecon. The views are stunning, this house is great for a big group or family vacation. I can't wait to come back :) .

I have so many positive things to say about my stay here that it probably sounds close to a love letter haha! But genuinely - one of the best stays I’ve had. I’d rate them 10 stars if I could. For context, I was with a group of 7 and we rented out the entire space. The check in was extremely smooth, the hosts gave very detailed instructions that made it hassle and question free to get in. When one of the automatic locks to a bedroom was malfunctioning, they were up within minutes to solve the problem. That’s just their attitude in general tho -- any time you have a question, problem, comment, they respond quickly and are happy to help. Just genuinely nice guys to have a chat with too. :) I learned a lot about them and the area in our time there and probably held them up from things they needed to do because they’re so easy to talk to! Usually I love to go and get out there, but the saltwater pool was so much fun to be in that we preferred it to the beach….when we had specifically chosen this town so we could go to the beach! Paired with the beautiful sunset every night, I was content with not leaving the Villa except to try the restaurants the hosts referred. They made it feel so homey and genuinely relaxing with the small details. The kitchen and kitchenettes are fully stocked. You have pots, pans, utensils, anything you need if you want to prepare something at home. The coffee they have is delicious too! Not to mention in the rooms they provided slippers, an eye mask, earplugs and a little sewing kit. Just thoughtful little touches like this are scattered throughout the house. Plus, the shower heads are giant waterfall types, and there was unlimited hot water. There were so many lush plants and fruit trees right in the backyard. Papaya, bananas, durians! I stayed here for a week and watched them ripen from the pool. I would love to come back again and stay a month so book it now before I do!

This villa is absolutely AMAZING! The location has a stunning view, the villa is gorgeous and so very well appointed. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN EVERY ROOM. You will have an amazing stay with Mark. He's kind and helpful and so generous, and the villa is out of this world. I will stay there any chance I get. You won't find a better stay than Mark's place. Period.

Amazing host and villa. Fantastic accommodations, views all super close to the bustling malecón. You are only steps away from everything, yet the villa offers the privacy and serenity that only “la colonia del cerro” can offer.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Amistad. Mark was so friendly and accommodating he made sure we all felt comfortable. We appreciated that Mark was available to provide whatever we needed, yet had privacy during our stay. The place is very clean and spacious, there were various great amenities and recommendations that Mark provided for us. I would highly recommend staying, it is a beautiful villa with an amazing view of the ocean.

This place is beautiful! We had so many family and friends asking us where we stayed after viewing our videos and photos. Also, our hosts were great and helpful by giving us local tips. They also responded quickly and kept the place very clean! I would 100% come back to visit.
