We had a great time. Jennifer was extremely helpful and almost instantly responsive! The house caretakers, Alex and Mariana, were lovely, the house was beautiful and perfectly located. As a family of 4 with two adult/teenage kids, it was total luxury for us to all have our own private spaces and bathrooms! The pool and terrace were amazing. Loved the kitchen and living area and proximity to beach and local shops was fabulous.

Lovely house, just as pictured with beautiful terrace, additional rooftop terrace, small pool for cooling off. Directions were specific and helpful, easy walk to town and close to beach. Air conditioning worked well also. Highly recommended!

The garden, house, covered terrace, and pool were great. Really nice outdoor spaces to enjoy morning coffee and mezcal by the pool. Jennifer, the co-host, responded immediately to all of our questions.

We really enjoyed our stay here! From the initial booking confirmation, Jennifer completely exceeded my expectations for being a responsive host. She gave realistic expectations about the weather (it was hot!), tons of food/surf/yoga/taxi recommendations, and she seemed to respond almost instantly. We had 1 minor issue on arrival, and she had the local property manager there within 15 minutes who addressed the issue (and the local property manager Ilse was lovely too). The house was just as expected. Clean, AC/fans worked great, and all beds were comfortable - we all slept wonderful. My favorite part was evening swims in the private pool. It was hot when we stayed, but an evening dip in the warm pool was actually super refreshing. Thank you again!

Beautiful home, close to the beach, and stocked with everything you need for a perfect beach day. The pool was great, but honestly we didn't use it as much as I thought we would because the beach was so close it always won out. The master bedroom was incredibly comfortable and the AC kept up without issue. A few reviews mentioned rooster noise, and yes some neighbors have roosters and a few rufous-bellied chachalacas seem to live in the trees nearby, but you really only hear them with the windows open. The place is well-built and sound-insulated me and my partner slept well every night and woke up late without earplugs. Michael also provides plenty of earplugs and a white noise machine if you're a lighter sleeper. The views from the roof are even better than the photos suggest I almost feel like the pictures don't do it justice. It's walking distance to both the beach and town, but I'd still recommend renting a golf cart. We saw way more of Sayulita than we would have on foot alone.

Beautiful , clean home. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels all included which was really nice! Also having the purified water station was a plus.

We visited sayulita for the first time. It was a super quick 4 days. This is a great place - easy walk to the quiet part of the beach. Pool is amazing and house and beds were great. Jennifer helped us so many special touches. We visited to see our daughter who’s is living in sayulita seasonally to surf and wanted to make her birthday special. I highly recommend gecko for car rental. They were super helpful and there are no hidden fees. Stay here! Ps ear plugs are provided - we took higher quality with us to muffle the chachalaca and roosters in the early morning. Cheers! John and Jenny

Casa Tranquila was absolutely stunning, with a well equipped kitchen, spacious outdoor area, rooftop deck, and private bedrooms. The villa had everything we needed to relax at the pool or beach, and the grounds were so beautiful, providing a peaceful atmosphere, which is what we all needed to really decompress. Jennifer provided excellent communication leading up to and during our stay, including recommendations for transport from the airport with a stop at Mega, which was perfect. The location was incredible, with a short walk to the beach and some wonderful local restaurants we frequented more than once! We will definitely be back!

Our family had a great time in this house during Spring Break in Sayulita! We rented a golf cart and explored the city every day. We went fishing, surfing and took a Catamaran to Marietas NP - all great suggestions from the host. The house was perfect for my family of 4. We had our own bedrooms and bathrooms and space to relax. I highly suggest staying in Casa Tranquila!

Casa Tranquila was a great place to celebrate a milestone birthday with family. The home is charming and had everything we needed to relax by the pool and on the beach. Jennifer provided excellent communication from booking through check out, and provided great local resources upon request. The housekeeping was fantastic, the grounds well-maintained. Private bedrooms were appreciated. The nearby restaurants were among our favorites of our vacation. We hope to return and stay again!

Great spot in Sayulita. Close to the quiet end of the beach, really nice the house provides beach towels chairs and umbrellas, even coolers. The kitchen was very well equipped, we had 5 adults and all had plenty of space and felt very secure. This end of the town is quieter (aside from the Mexican roosters, hard to avoid, lol), very peaceful and has it's own restaurants and shops close by but also a 10 minute walk to the down town.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home in the north part of Sayuita. The home was very well set up for my husband & I plus our two teenagers. It's very close to the beach and restaurants. We loved the pool and the rooftop for dinners. The view is lovely, we could see the sunset and the fireworks on New Years Eve! Much more peaceful than staying in downtown Sayulita, lots of birds! We'd love to stay here again, such a gem!

The villa was so amazing!! The grounds are so beautiful and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us. The location was perfect for us. If you have someone that doesn’t like to walk, definitely get a golf cart! The one thing that was annoying was the roosters crowing at 3:30am and some dogs barking but that’s what earplugs and sound machine are for if you’re bothered by village sounds. Would definitely stay here again!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Tranquila, it is one of the older homes in the neighborhood, and even though there has been condo development around it, it still retails a high level of privacy. The garden and pool is beautiful and well maintained. The house has lots of space to hang out, the mid level terrace is especially comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is very well stocked and has a nice classic Mexican look and feel. Again, everything was very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the main plaza. There are also great restaurants and bars just 5 minutes away, no need for a golf cart. As with most of Sayulita there is quite a bit of noise from motorcycles and ATV's which the locals use for daily transportation. These all use "off road" exhausts so tend to be noisy. Traffic is limited to servicing the houses above. Evenings and night time were very peaceful. Jessica was extremely responsive and helpful.

Our family felt immediately comfortable in the space. The home is inviting, colorful, and clean. They have thought of everything from beach umbrellas to blowdryers to beautiful Mexican glassware. Each part of our family had their own bed and bathroom, which was a must. The location was exactly how they described, the walks to town or the beach were always relaxing. The home property with the pool was equally as tranquil. We hope to stay with them again.

Casa Tranquila is amazing!! Perfect location that’s easy to walk to, and the view is breathtaking. It’s very well appointed with everything you might need or want. Jennifer, the host, is the most attentive host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb; she’s a complete delight, and she immediately addresses every question. The 3-bedrooms, each with its own bath, was perfect for me and my 3 adult kids, as we had our own spaces but convened for dining and playing cards on the covered balcony, inside for watching a movie on the large tv, and in the pool for sunning and - yup - swimming. All the gorgeous plants are stunning, too. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t recommend the house and people enough. Thank you!

Casa Tranquila is conveniently located near town and beaches. There are restaurants, produce and fish markets nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and we found the common areas and bedrooms very comfortable. We very much enjoyed the pool and garden. Communication with our host was very good and check-in and check-out went well. Sayulita is a bustling town during the day with motorcycle and ATV traffic during the day, but evenings and nights were quiet at Casa Tranquila.

The house was beautiful and clean, had everything we needed, easy to walk everywhere. Housekeepers were lovely and efficient. The location is on a very busy road that was very loud with large diesel trucks going up and down all day starting at 0630. We were warned of the construction however did not realize the main road for access would be directly next to the home. Completely out of the hosts control but, if you’re looking for quiet this is not the location for you.

A beautiful home with amazing views of the ocean, beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the rooms. Communication with the host was great as well, very quick to respond to any questions. There was also plenty of drinkable water provided in all of the rooms. The pool was unfortunately too warm to provide relief in the July heat and humidity. Location is farther away from the nightlife but was also very close to the much less crowded part of the beach - about a five minute hilly walk. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others!

Michael, Jennifer & the whole team at Casa Traquila are phenomenal- it truly is such a special place! We stayed with 2 toddlers, 4 adults, and a baby and it was the perfect set up! The babies loved the pool and the home was very comfortable! It was a super easy walk or gold cart drive to local restaurants, getting to town & the beach! The AC was also lovely and we spent lots of time on the patio and rooftop terrace watching sunsets! Jennifer provided a ton of great recommendations (BabyQuip is great for baby rental!) and was very responsive to our many questions! Also loved that they provided beach necessities! Another incredible thing is that the cleaners came twice during our stay - felt very much like a hotel experience and the home was very well cared for! Truly we LOVED it and hope to return again one day:)

My family (4 adults, 1 child, age:4) had an amazing stay at Casa Tranquila! Our first time in Sayulita. The house was clean and beautifully decorated! Comfy beds, loved that every room had it's own shower/toilet. I absolutely enjoyed being surrounded my the lush, green plants in and around the property! 4-5 min walk to the beach, about 10 min walk to the "downtown" sayulita. Felt COMPLETELY safe walking to/from the property in the early morning and late evening. The pool was perfect for us. My daughter spent all 5 days of our stay in the pool, she loved it, she is already asking to go back :) would recommend Casa Tranquila to anyone!

We had the absolute best time at Casa Tranquila! There were five of us girls, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing, fun-filled getaway. The house is beautiful, clean and the vibe truly lives up to its name. We spent our days lounging, laughing, and soaking in the beautiful view—it was just what we needed. Communication with the host was easy and responsive, which made everything stress-free. Highly recommend Casa Tranquilla for anyone looking for an escape with friends or family. We’re already talking about coming back!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Tranquila immensely. Jennifer, our point of contact, was friendly, helpful, and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The house was well maintained and both the housecleaners and the landscaper were there during our stay. Casa Tranquila has a number of thoughtful touches for vacationers such as plenty of beach towels, beach chairs to borrow and filtered water in the downstairs rooms. The pool was a nice size to swim in (smaller than a full sized pool but bigger than a dipping pool) and was kept clean and tidy. My favorite part was all of the plants and flowers on the property and the various lounge seating on the main balcony. We loved our visit and would absolutely stay here again!

Casa Tranquila was the perfect home for me and my guests to have a very beautiful stay. It is very well managed, communication was top-notch. The home is in a perfect area and designed perfectly to enjoy the inside and outside spaces. Highlight was having dinner on the roof looking over the coastline as the sun was setting. Definitely recommend

This was a great place for our family vacation. We had a 10,7 and 2 year old with us. It was a wonderful place. Pros: Clean, comfortable king size beds. Nice soft sheets. Comfortable pillows. Hot water. They provided clean water, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen was small, but had all things you would need. Well equipped. Very thought out rental place. Location was great on the outskirts of town, but only a few minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Cons: The pool isn’t heated (very few are in Mexico though). Kids had fun still. The noise that is spoken of-isn’t that bad. It’s mainly just trucks and motorcycles and for some reason the noise is amplified and just echoes a little loudly. Oh and the roosters. But ear plugs and a noise machine and it was fine. I would definitely stay here again! They were very communicative, quickly responsive and really helpful. Great hosts!

Very lovely home, gorgeous backyard with pool, great views of the ocean from the balconies and especially the roof. There's some lovely fruit trees including a jackfruit tree which was a nice treat for me. Just a short walk from the beach and restaurants, but also just a little ways away from the densely populated areas so it was a little quieter.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Tranquila! It had everything we needed for our multigenerational family. The location is great, about 2.5 blocks to the beach and an easy walk to some restaurants and stores. We also appreciated being in a quieter side of town while also easily accessible to the main part of town. Jennifer was a fantastic host—extremely responsive, proactive, and friendly. Thank you!

This was our second time staying at Casa Tranquila. Highly recommended to anyone that is looking for a peaceful vacation. The house is gorgeous. The pool is perfect size. The grounds were immaculate. The new roof top deck was great for having a glass of wine and great views of the town one ocean. We had friends that stayed with us and it was their first time in Mexico and all are planning on coming back next year, everyone had a great time. Can’t wait to return.

Casa Tranquila was a most beautiful respite for our family & friends (including two two-year-olds). We enjoyed the atmosphere, the pool, the walkability to the beach, restaurants, and town squares. We came during the normal rainy season but the weather offered many opportunities for us to visit the beach.

We went to Sayulita for a family trip for 10 days. It was a wonderful trip & we’d happily return. If you’re expecting a resort area, this is not your town. It is a rural beach town in Mexico. Roads are rough, infrastructure is rough, but if you go into it with appropriate expectations you you’ll be pleasantly surprised. That said, we enjoyed Casa Tranquila immensely with its own pool and the privacy for guests the home affords is wonderful. As noted by the hosts, the roosters and native birds are a thing, so is some street traffic. The amenities of the house are great. We enjoyed the pool, the grill, the rooftops for sunset viewing and watching the chacalacas and iguanas. Jennifer and Michael are helpful and responsive hosts. The housekeepers & gardener are lovely people. Hope we can return soon!

This is wonderful accomodation, with exceptional customer care. It is beautiful, comfortable, and immaculately maintained. I'd say it's also an ideal place to stay with a family -- lots of space for activities and privacy, and worry-free care by the staff. It always felt fresh, clean, and simply "cared-for". (This is almost resort-level maintenance and care, with cleaners and groundskeepers there on a regular basis, regardless of check-out/-in time.) If you added a cooking service, it would absolutely feel like a private villa at a luxury resort. However, this could be a trade-off if you are looking for more autonomy and privacy.

Casa Tranquila is perfect! 😍 The house is swimmingly decorated, wonderfully landscaped, and the views are amazing. We were huge fans of the patio furniture. Comes with beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas, plenty of linens and fresh drinking water! Great place to relax with friends. Nothing bad to say about Casa Tranquila! We would recommend rental golf carts. They made getting around fun and efficient. The housekeeping and gardeners are very nice and do amazing work! Would definitely come back and stay here!

Our stay at Casa Tranquila was absolutely delightful! We spent a blissful 10 days here in February with three adults and our two grown children, and it exceeded all our expectations. Its location was ideal – in the North End, just a two-minute walk to the quiet end of the beach and a short stroll to the town center - but far enough away to be completely sheltered from the booming nightlife in the zocalo. Some of the highlights for us were the gorgeous gardens and the swimming pool. The expansive outdoor veranda also quickly became a favorite spot, with stunning views of the ocean and surrounding greenery. The home was impeccably kept, and the (lovely) cleaners came every few days to refresh the space and change the linens – which was much appreciated. We always felt safe and comfortable at Casa Tranquila and the hosts were super responsive. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us – we cannot wait to return!

We spent 9 nights at Cash Tranquila over Christmas as a family of 4 with 2 adult kids. It was great for them to each have their own private rooms/suites and us to have ours! The location on the North Side of Sayulita is the best place to be and this home is very easy to walk to the best end of the beach and into town - we really appreciated that. The outdoor spaces - especially the covered deck off the main floor - was our place to siesta, eat, read, write, chill. We hung around the pool a couple of afternoons and the garden is kept very nicely. VERY nice to have housekeeping every couple of days. We did not use the upper deck at all. We felt safe and secure the whole time. We also did not use a golf cart. It is super close and almost totally flat (save for one block) to everything. Main disruption was the daily ongoing traffic up and down the street which was loud all day. Preferred the roosters! But often we were at the beach.

Casa Tranquila was perfect! We had everything we needed from the fully stocked kitchen to beach chairs and umbrellas. We really appreciated the AC units and all of the fans. The rooftop space, the covered patio and the pool were amazing. The quick walk to the beach and restaurants within walking distance made everything easy to get to. The host was proactive and responsive and gave many helpful tips. 10 out of 10 would recommend! We will book again for our next Sayulita vacation.

Casa Tranquila was my home for 23 days in March and it was the best vacation I’ve ever had in my 65+ years. I’ve been to Sayulita before and stayed at another home nearby by but nothing can compare to this house, the lanai, the view, and overall beauty and comfort. The hill, roosters and construction were minor compared to the accommodations. Jennifer was super responsive when we had some issues the first few days with one of the AC units and power outage. Pictures don’t do this place justice. While there, they added table and chairs to the rooftop terrace! The beds are wonderful, the kitchen well equipped, and the chairs/umbrella provided for the beach are a huge bonus. For long stays, plan to take your personal laundry to the local Lava Zone - drop off and pick up for only 70 pesos. I will definitely go back to Casa Tranquila!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Tranquila! The upstairs terrace and pool area were exceptional for lounging. The house felt safe and secure, always had hot water, kitchen was great for cooking. There were enough beach chairs, umbrellas, and even small coolers to bring to the beach. Jennifer (host/contact) was incredibly responsive to any questions we had. The house is far enough from the noise of town although we did hear construction during the day (which we had been warned about at booking). Also, the bathrooms in the downstairs bedrooms are not 100% enclosed, so privacy is limited. Neither of these things bothered us but something to keep in mind. Overall, we loved our time at this house and hope to return someday!

Aside from the cacophony of roosters starting around 4 am and the daytime construction noise from next door and across the street, Casa Tranquila (a veces Casa Ruidosa) was a great place to stay. Definitely closer to the quieter and prettier part of the beach, and an easy walk to restaurants etc. Also have to say that Jennifer/Michael was always available and very responsive if we had questions or there were any house issues. Would like to see them pay a bit more attention to minor details like chipped mugs, the need for a new frying pan and some burnt out lights but otherwise great. Also I suggest the owner build some kind of seating structure for the rooftop as the view from there is incredible - wow!

Would 100% recommend!! Our stay was incredibly relaxing and the space is beautiful! Clean, responsive, provided lots of recommendations, perfect location. If you are coming to Sayulita this is the spot- 2 minutes away from the beach, a short walk to town, a private and beautiful space! There were active roosters early in the morning and construction during the daytime, but it didn’t bother us during the stay!

What an amazing place to stay! I booked this trip to celebrate my 30th birthday. I have never been to Sayulita before so I was relying on the description of this Airbnb to make sure I chose a spot that was close to downtown area and had all the amenities that I wanted. It is exactly where it says it is. Everything was about a five-10 minute walk and an even quicker one if you decide to rent a golf cart (which they recommend a spot to go) to mob around this cute little town. Sayulita is a little hilly but this Airbnb had one small hill that you had to walk up. After exploring the town more I realized how lucky we were to have a mostly flat commute to the heart of Sayu The house itself was so charming and made you feel like you were at a home away from home. All the rooms basically had their own bathrooms except the room attached to the kitchen but there was a bathroom right outside the door. We slept very comfortable in the AC and the ceiling fan worked wonderfully they even added more floor fans just in case you are a hot sleeper. The towels were fully stocked for pool and the shower use. Also, Jennifer, who I mostly spoke with was very open with communication and I definitely knew that she was there to help if I needed it. While we were there a hurricane hit in the evening. I cannot say how much I appreciate the communication I had with Jennifer during this time. She Went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and knew there were many people in our corner. We did lose power and plumbing that evening and the day after the hurricane. Our power never ended up coming back on even though it was predicted to be about an hour outage. because of this the Airbnb offered to give us a free day because we didn’t have running water or electricity. Obviously they could’ve predicted hurricane hitting while we were staying there. I can’t rate this Airbnb high enough on their communication and their hospitality. Even through a hurricane everyone went above and beyond making sure we were enjoying our stay! 1000/10 would stay here again!!

Michael's place was perfect!! It had everything we could have needed from AC in the bedrooms to a full kitchen set, beach towels, Tommy Bahama chairs, a clean pool etc. It was a perfect size for 6 of us and great location only a 5 minute walk from restaurants and shops downtown. The space felt very safe with secure locks and Jennifer helped us figure out anything we needed ex. transportation from the airport, activity recommendations etc. The place was clean and well cared for and we would definitely stay there again. Sayulita was a fun, local beach town with lots to do!

This is one of our most favorite homes that we have ever booked. What we loved: It's spacious, beautiful, and has an awesome pool with lounge chairs. We really appreciated the filtered water jugs, the cleanliness, and the AC units in the bedrooms. The upper deck view is so beautiful in the evening during sunset as there is partial ocean view - there is plenty of outdoor seating, a hammock, table and chairs to relax outside and enjoy it. Rooms: There are two separate rooms downstairs that have a code to get into with their own bathrooms. The downstairs rooms can join if you want it to. There is also a room upstairs and a bathroom, along with the common areas and kitchen. This is a great space for 3 couples to have their own rooms, a group of up to 6 friends, or even a family - depending on your room situation for the kids. Other features: There are ceiling fans inside and outside on the patio, a floor fan, plenty of towels, kitchen necessities (plates, utensils, cookware, microwave, stove/oven, coffee press & maker, huge refrigerator, etc.) There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off sand/dirt. Something we really appreciated and didn't expect, were the beach chairs & umbrellas as they were very awesome to have on hand to save us from having to rent them. The Pool: The pool felt amazing with the July humidity and there were plenty of lounge chairs. You will be surrounded by beautiful plants, birds, geckos and occasionally big iguanas. None of which bother you at all! It's honestly very cool to see. Wifi: The wifi was pretty good for the most part. We had 3 people working remotely and there were a few moments where wifi would be slow, but we were able to avoid it by making sure not everyone was on the wifi at the same time if someone had an important meeting. Noise: There was some construction next door that we were warned about as well as roosters across the way, but it didn't bother us at all. The wild birds were more noisy than anything else but even that wasn't bothersome. Because it's not super close to downtown, you don't hear a ton of people/road noise which is nice. Location: This home is very close to the beach - about a 5 minute walk and about 10 mins into the heart of downtown. Despite it not being in the middle of everything, there are still restaurants, shops, cafes, markets, etc. just minutes away. Safety: There are gate codes to get onto the property and even the bedrooms have either a code/key. This definitely helps make the home feel more secure. Cons: I think the biggest con was that there is no AC in the living room/kitchen area. This wasn't a deal breaker because we were outside most of the day, but when we tried to hangout in the living room, it was so uncomfortably hot (even in the evening). Because of how stuffy/hot it felt, we chose not to cook and didn't really get to enjoy relaxing in the evening watching a movie together. Again, not a huge deal for my group but if you are a group that plans on cooking/being in the living room - please keep in mind that there is no AC in that area, just ceiling fans and a floor fan. The fans help a bit, but its hot air circulating. To be fair, I think it also has to do with the time of year that we visited as it is not always humid, so maybe this isn't always a problem. Communication: I appreciated the detailed messages prior to arriving, what to expect, tips on golf cart rentals, etc. I also appreciated them checking in during our stay to make sure everything was okay. Overall: I have so many nice things to say about this home and our stay. Overall it was wonderful and we had such a positive experience. We would stay again and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a spacious place with a pool.

Everything was exactly as described and communication with the host was exceptional. All of the common areas are comfortable, beautiful, and just what we wanted. Even though neighbors and construction are nearby it felt like there was plenty of privacy. The bedrooms have AC which was a huge plus in July and having our own pool during the hot days was perfect. Very easy walk to restaurants and town and the beach. Would absolutely book again in the future!

Great location away from the main part of town. Just a couple blocks from the beach. The pool was lovely after a long day of walking. Would recommend.

Expect to be comfortable, have a killer view and be able to enjoy everything Sayulita has to offer from this home. It was walking distance to everything we could have needed and didn’t feel like we needed a golf cart (though if you are staying for a long period it would be nice). Great communicative hosts, easy check in, and perfect spot to relax in a hammock with views of the bay!

We had a great time at Case Tranquila. The location was perfect for us, close to the beach and on the more chill north side of sayulita. We had three couples and a 4 year old and the room setup allowed for privacy for everyone. The veranda is incredible and we spent most of our time there. The beach chairs and umbrellas were easy to bring to the beach and nice because we could head north and get more privacy. The pool is perfect for kids and adults and a nice break from the big waves at the beach. The entire complex feels like a magical tropical sanctuary. Highly recommend! We hope to be back!

Absolutely a great destination. Had an awesome stay. Would highly recommend staying here. Stunning sunsets every night from the deck. Loved hearing and watching the birds every evening. The pool was great, and the staff was very helpful.

The house was exactly as it is described. It was very clean and was cleaned a couple times during our stay. Everything works great, the location was perfect. Walkable to the main town square, but away from all the commotion. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk away, and the side of the beach the house resides is the quiet side. The pool was clean, and the Gardner cam to clean multiple times over 10 days. Great spot.

This was a fantastic experience overall. The place is beautiful, pool temp is perfect, and proximity to beach and downtown are just right. House is everything they advertise and then some :) Jennifer, who managed all communications with us, was so helpful and accommodating and unbelievably prompt with responses. There was some construction going on next door which caused some noise, but she gave us a heads up well in advance and it really wasn’t bad, especially if you close your rooms at night and turn on A/C (which you will likely want to, as it was plenty warm out at night!) We just really can’t say enough about the house, the customer service, and the experience- thanks again!

What an amazing week away from winter in Canada! The house was well-equipped and exactly as advertised. The owner Michael and his assistants Jennifer and Ilse were very attentive, friendly, and responded quickly to even minor email queries. We particularly appreciated the open spaces and made maximum use of the upstairs patio at the beginning and end of each day. The pool was an idyllic rendezvous location each afternoon, after excursions to the local beaches, San Pancho and Punta de Mita. All of Sayulita was within easy walking distance, including several fine restaurants. It was an excellent hub for sampling all this bustling and vital town has to offer. We will be back!

We had a great stay at Casa Tranquila. The house, pool and gardens are beautiful and very well taken care of. The house is located in a neighborhood with lots of activity but, that is all over Sayulita. It looks like the town is really growing. Loved the close access to beach and also you can walk everywhere although it was fun having a golf cart. Totally would love to visit agian.

Great place! It was super clean, nicely fitted out with everything you need for a pleasant stay in Sayulita. We used the beach chairs and umbrellas quite often. Easy walk into town with some nice restaurants just a 3-4 minute walk away. Jennifer is super responsive!

We had such a wonderful stay! They house was just as pictured & a perfect distance to the beach for us. It was very quiet, which was great for us since we had our baby with us. Michael & Jennifer were also absolutely amazing! They were very accommodating with any/all requests & were a wealth of information for us throughout the entire trip! We will definitely stay with them again in the future if the availability works out! Thank you both for such a great trip!

I can’t say enough about how great Casa Tranquila was for us. The location on the quiet side of town is perfect. It’s a close enough walk to the beach and central part of town, but it feels like you’re in your own world. The house itself is beautiful, and the lush tropical jungle surrounding the pool provides amazing bird and butterfly viewing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The upstairs porch provides a lovely shady oasis to escape the summer heat and occasional thunderstorms. The kitchen is well appointed, AC in the bedrooms works really well, and the beds are clean and comfortable. In addition to all of this, we felt well taken care of and the few issues we had were addressed and dealt with immediately. Jennifer responded to all of our communications quickly, and was thorough, helpful, and kind. This was above and beyond any other Airbnb I’ve stayed in before. I just got home and already can’t wait to return.

Great home. We enjoyed the pool the most and watching the birds, iguanas, and other creatures in their natural habitat. The ocean view was also lovely and relaxing. The home is well equipped and internet works great. We parked at the front of the house on the Main Street and didn’t use the carport because we didn’t have 4-wheel drive. Parking was always available.

Casa Tranquila was the highlight of our stays around Puerto Vallarta. We stayed for about five days. Everything was in walking distance including the closest beach — about 3 blocks away. Communication was great and we felt extremely secure in our home. The pool was a GODSEND. Some of my travel companions don't fare well in the heat, so beating the mid-day sun with a dip in the pool was a daily occurrence. The rooms were extremely comfortable, with fans+AC combo. I'd recommend bringing ear plugs to wear while you sleep so the roosters and chachalacas don't wake you up too early.

Two friends and I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time! Our host Jennifer, housekeeper, and groundskeeper all made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed during our stay. Functionally, the space is very large and has the basics and beyond covered - one of the most well-stocked kitchens I’ve experienced in an Airbnb, plenty of beach towels and umbrellas/chairs. There are multiple areas to work - both inside and outside. We especially enjoyed all the outdoor space that was perfect for relaxing. The pool is amazing and well kept-up. The location is set off from the busyness of the main beach/town area, yet still walkable to all the action. It was so nice to be just a couple blocks from a relatively quiet part of the beach. All in all we loved our lush, nature-filled stay. It was so relaxing and beautiful, and we can’t wait to return.

Casa Tranquila was everything we were looking for! The location is perfect - two blocks from the beach, just a couple more to downtown, and quiet at night. The house is super comfortable with lots of places to hang out and relax. We also really loved the kitchen, it was charming and very well stocked with everything we could have needed. The pictures don't quite do this place justice. Everything from the beautiful garden to the art and decor seemed to be very thoughtfully put together. Highly recommend! Especially great option for 3 couples - 3 king beds each with their own bathroom is a huge plus.

Felt a wave of relaxation the moment we arrived. This was a wonderful place to stay in Sayulita, only two blocks away from the beach with wonderful dining options nearby and the main part of town just a ten minute walk away. The three rooms were well appointed with king size beds and private bathrooms in each room. The pool was the perfect temperature and there were many lounge chairs around to get some sunlight, and a large modern BBQ to whip up a little feast. Upstairs there is a giant patio with the comfiest hammocks a large sectional couch and two tables. These were perfect spots to sit down with my laptop and do some light work while admiring all the beauty outside. The kitchen has everything you could need and a great stove. The massive 65" TV has all of the streaming services you could want built-in, and was great to relax on the comfy indoor couch and watch some shows in the evening. One thing to note is that internet access in parts of Sayulita are a bit limited. This is due to the infrastructure and not the location itself. Telmex is actively installing Fiber connections into town, and with any luck more of this relaxing paradise will have better connectivity. The best internet connections tend to be near the main area of town, and more limited in the Northern area. The network at the house was able to stream from Netflix, but I had to tether to my mobile phone for work stuff. and a set of beach chairs and umbrellas to head down to the beach

We had the best time at this VRBO. It was just as pictured- spacious, luxurious, and authentically Mexican. We spent every single afternoon at the pool! A was a great size, and the perfect temp for those hot days. The property was luscious and very well maintained. And the cleaning people that came midweek made it pristine all over again. The location could not be more perfect. Two blocks from the ocean and on the edge of town where it's more calm but still just blocks from the buzz of the little town. Highly recommend going to their local Tropical house for coconut shrimp and dinner! We went their twice and just a 10min walk from the place! Overall- 10/10 and would absolutely return.

This was the perfect little spot for our stay in Sayulita! Perfect walk from downtown, but away from the hustle bustle. Loved having the pool, hammocks, and AC in the rooms at night. All game changers! Host was so communicative & property felt really safe & locked up. So glad we stayed here!

Casa Tranquila was the perfect place for us to stay in Sayulita. It’s just out-of-the-way of the busy town up in the jungle where you could hear all the parrots and birds and roosters and the view of the jungle is amazing. The whole house is gated so we felt very safe there. Renting the golf cart down the hill was the perfect way to get around town because it is not in the main area. Which is a good thing. It’s only two blocks from the beach and it’s the quieter side of the beach which made it nice for our family to hang out there not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It was very hot when we were there so having the pool at the house was extremely wonderful to cool off after a long day in town. The beds were very comfortable and the touches of Mexico all around the house were so beautiful. They keep the garden impeccable and all the native plants are so gorgeous. Any questions we had they answered us right away and took care of very good care of us

This is a wonderful home, in a quieter part of town, 2 blocks to the beach. Ideal for our family of 2 kids, 2 parents and a grandma. The huge terrace is great for hanging out in. The pool is really nice, the gardens wonderful, the cleaners, gardener, property manager are all terrific. Can't wait to go back!

This house was perfect for us! It was very safe and secure, the pool was a welcome break from the hot weather, and the location was perfect! Just enough outside the main downtown area but still very walkable! We will be recommending this place to friends and family and hope to come back and visit soon!

First, we had the best communication with the host who was quick to respond to any questions we had and offered many helpful tips. The house and its amenities were more than we needed. The house was extremely clean and the grounds, landscaping and pool area were spectacular and beautiful. The location was perfect and we never felt anything but safe. . Peaceful but yet close to the beach, town, restaurants so we could experience everything. If you are trying to decide between the numerous houses to rent in Sayulita, we would recommend this one!!!

Great location! You are tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to enjoy the town. If you’re coming during the rainy season, a golf cart is highly recommended (made our lives 100% easier). We felt incredibly safe and loved our stay! Individual A/C’s in every bedroom made it extremely comfortable. It’s very hot and the A/C was needed for a good night sleep! Our only complaint is communication with the property manager when we had a couple issues that needed a quick resolution. Would highly recommend!
