A very pleasant stay near downtown Mérida! We went as several couples of friends, as it has many rooms, each with its own air conditioning and keys so that everyone could come and go whenever they wanted. The pool was great, everything was very comfortable. We would definitely come back!

This trip was amazing. We rented out the entire property, which made our wedding weekend feel private and incredibly special. The host was a great communicator throughout the whole process, ensuring everything was ready for our group's arrival. The Highlight: Room #11 While the whole house was fantastic, Room #11 was the absolute star of the show. It was perfect for my wedding "get ready" session. Between the makeup setup and the lighting for photos, it served as the ideal bridal suite. Having the space for the whole party to spread out while I had a dedicated, beautiful room for photos made the morning completely stress-free. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Our group of 19 friends were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful time staying here. Thank you to our hosts for the great communication throughout, helping us feel right at home. Such an incredible thing to be able to stay with so many friends in one place! We enjoyed walking to coffee shops nearby for breakfast and also had the chefs prepare breakfast for us on two days. Both worked out great. The neighborhood is walkable (such a beautiful neighborhood!) but ubers are also very easy and cheap if you don't feel like walking. The pool is a good size and a nice cool refreshing temperature. Overall we loved our stay and would stay again! Thank you!

Beautiful location and verry friendly host and staff. We chose this location for our micro wedding and we could not be happier. Every room has so much personality . A lot of mosquitos for the area so please buy mosquito repelant ! But thats just all Merida. However the house it just magical eapecially at night with all the lights illuminating the halls. Recommend!

Very spacious house, with many rooms for groups, I went with my 3 brothers' family and my parents, there is an Oxxo nearby. Very good service, very flexible for check-in and check-out times.

This was one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever stayed in. Our host explained how the owner was an antique collector and that made it all the more special. The place is truly so special and so large! The rooms have a unique decor to them and follow the style of famous people they are named after. The pool was so lovely and our host also organized an excellent chef who cooked amazing food. The chef also acted as our bar tender and was so sweet. I celebrated my bachelorette here and it was truly unforgettable 🦩🥹

We loved our stay. It was wonderful to feel tucked away in our own world, while being just off the street. The rooms were a bit shabby, but the friendly host and cook (Chef Luis) plus the location and price made up for it. We hosted a Sacred Sites retreat and were based here and our clients loved it. Chef Luis made wonderful breakfast every day and even shopped for us. Thank you again, we really enjoyed it🙏

The house is spectacular! It is spacious and comfortable and id walking distance to the historical city center. Each room has its own air conditioner. It is very charming.

We had the opportunity to stay here, for the celebration of my civil wedding, it was an incredible stay, they offered me the extra breakfast service by Ms. Evelin and her partner, which were a jewel for our stay, the breakfast always delicious and on time, they always helpful and attentive ! Having a space where the family can meet and with many nearby services just walking is excellent. Various shops nearby, supermarket, Santiago market, cafes, among others. The house has amenities like the pool and a fun room, which makes it easy for the family to have fun and interaction in one space! A super equipped kitchen. The service and communication is excellent.

The hotel is an old house in which the flavor of Merida of yesteryear endures, with period furniture, doors, etc, however the bathrooms are remodeled which is appreciated. It's well located downtown so it's easy to walk from there to various destinations of interest. Undoubtedly the best of our stay of 20 people was having had the service of Chef and his assistant. Evelyn delicious cuisine so every day we have delicious and varied breakfasts and delicious Yucatecan food on our return after visiting the different points of interest. Not only delicious cuisine, her readiness and smile made our family Christmas trip so special. Many thanks Evelyn and Shirley. Highly recommended for a family trip, or with friends.

Great location for family or couples. Not far from all the great restaurants in Mereda.

This place is amazing, many rooms available so it is an easy way to accommodate for big groups. Big grocery store within a 5 minute walk that has all the essentials. We had a minor issue during our stay but Juan Carlos and Brenda were great and very attentive host, resolved the issue in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again during my next visit.

We stayed a group of friends in the house and it was a great experience, we had it just for ourselves. Juan's attentions were always very friendly and timely. The house's facilities were spotless and the cleanliness as well. We would definitely come back again.

Location was nice and near Central Merida. Very historic ambience and architecture. Lots of gathering space at location to hang out with others. Fit our group perfectly during our 10 day visit. Highly recommended for groups that want a private setting.

The Casa is even more impressive than in the pictures and we felt super comfortable. Juan was a great help and everything worked out wonderfully. The pool was seized by the eight children of our group - it was magnificent. Thanks so much for the nice days here!

We were a group of 18 and had a great time in the spacious house. It is well equipped and the hosts were really nice.

Great place to stay!

Can't say enough good things about this place and the host. It's really feels like your own oasis in the city. We loved all having our own private spaces and then a place where we could congregate and hang out. Pool was a huge plus given the hot Merida weather. The host was responsive and gave great recommendations for tour companies and things to do. We loved our stay!

Juan Pablo was always attentive to us. She was very friendly and her whole team was very attentive to our needs and they helped us with everything. The house is gorgeous and the service is even better. We are a large family and we were all very comfortable in the rooms. We were very happy and would love to come back again. Highly recommended. One of the best airbnbs we've ever stayed at.

It is practically a hotel for your family, if it is large they will enjoy it very much, the facilities are very good in general and the very comfortable rooms can be walked to downtown. Arriving in about 20 minutes. We had a great time for Christmas night!

The house is very nice, it retains its traditional side, it just needs a bit of maintenance. Moisés, the person who was taking care of the house, was always attentive to everything we needed and was very kind.

Excellent accommodation And very nice place

The accommodation is beautiful and very suitable for a group of several families with children. Rooms, swimming pool, common areas, parking and proximity to the supermarket and the city center, everything was at its best. Everything was perfect for an unforgettable week in Merida. Thank you in particular to Moises for her kindness and availability.

Very nice place to stay, especially if you arrive with many different people/families. We stayed here for 5 nights for a wedding in Merida. It was ideal for that. The rooms are beautiful, as described, each room has its own bathroom with shower. We had 3 lovely women for breakfast, who always set everything up superbly and conjured up other dishes every day. The 3 women and also the caretaker Moses were happy to help us with other questions at any time. The pool is perfect, used a lot. Would book the house again right away!

Our stay was excellent, the place is beautiful and has history, the host was very responsive and the person in the house, Moises, was very attentive and helpful. The pool is very nice, the kitchen is well equipped and every bedroom has AC and a full bathroom. Definitely recommend Casa de las Columnas, walking distance to restaurants, Centro de Mérida and lots to do. We really had a great time. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent service

Perfect space for our corporate meetings. Our host, Juan Pablo, took care of everything for us, from arranging a chef to hiring private transport for excursions to allowing for a late checkout for travelers leaving late in the day. The space is huge and well-apportioned. The pool is perfect for cooling off in 100+ degree weather. Really everything was excellent and we would recommend this for any work group or extended family!

We held a multigenerational large family gathering at Casa Columnas for 6 days and had a fantastic time. We made use of the chef for breakfast every day and for a special celebratory dinner - multiple courses of delicious Yucatecan foods. The pool was most welcome as the days were hot. The place and staff comfortably accommadated our group from 11 months to 74 years. We were close to the center of Merida and used Ubers frequently - to the markets, museums and dinners. We made day trips to Uxmal, denotes and Progresso. Highly recommend the Casa for large groups!

Casa de las Columnas was absolutely marvelous and perfect for a big group. The host and the cook were super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

The best house to stay in for large groups! i came here with my family of 27, We were more than comfortable the whole trip. The place was clean and had everything we needed and more. The house keeper was a great help and honestly i can’t recommend this place enough! 5 Stars

Everything was fine!

Great place for a group. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The pool was great. We got chef services which were very convenient. I only with there was more natural light in all the rooms. For big groups, it would great to have gate keys instead of waking up the guard. Otherwise no major concerns definitely recommend it.

Great stay at Casa las columnas. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Beautiful courtyard with clean pool. Walking distance to cafe's, grocery stores and downtown. Moises (house manager) was very polite and attentive, he went above and beyond to assist us with anything. We traveled with a large group of all ages and all had a great time, plenty of space for all to hang out.

This is a big house or small hotel that has everything for a perfect stay. All the ammenities are great, Big flat TV, swimming pool, nice kitchen. Besides, the communication with the owner is very good.

Perfect for our bachelorette group of 15! Had a fully working kitchen and a few common areas where we could bond. Was close enough to walk, or could easily hail a taxi or catch an Uber to/from centro. Keyless entry was amazing and loved that each room had its own key and could be locked. Juan went above and beyond and help us finalize things for our remote bachelorette. From decor and private catering he's got all the connects. Moisés was also incredible whenever anyone forgot a key or needed something. He knew when to be in the background and when to disappear. Would recommend for any large group of friends traveling with mixed introverts and extroverts!

We had a great stay here with our family . Juan was great to communicate with and very accommodating. Every room has it's own bathroom like a hotel. You have a nice open air lounge for all the gather in. Moises, the house manager was always there to let us in or answer questions. It's a great place for a large group of friends or family.

I want to thank and highly recommend, to the owners of The House of Columns. My family and I had the privilege of being guests in that beautiful residence, and we felt very lucky and happy to have been there, it is a very cozy, pleasant,very nice and above all very private place. My family enjoyed its pool,its large terrace, very nice garden, spacious and very clean bedrooms in a very authentic style, in general,we felt very relaxed and satisfied with this choice,and we definitely recommend it to our friends and so on.
