The Amara is a wonderful place to stay. This condo is on the 9th floor which has beautiful views of the entire beach. The staff is very helpful and resolved a few issues we had immediately. We liked that there were 3 rooms with king sized beds. Water pressure in the showers was perfect. Bartenders at the Tiki pool bar are wonderful and kept the drinks flowing with our large group. T he beach in Ixtapa is known for large waves and red and black flag swim warnings and this time we saw very high tides. Don't forget to walk the beach and find the massage huts. You won't regret it.
