This home was amazing in so many ways. The top level kitchen and living area is gorgeous and scenic. The bedrooms worked great for 7 of us and would be very comfortable for two families. We loved spending our afternoons lounging by the pool with sporadic plunges in the ocean at La Madera beach right next door. Close to town and great restaurants without any traffic noise. The only consideration is that you must be able to climb stairs to be happy here. Last but not least, Leo was an outstanding property manager and host and took wonderful care of us while guarding our privacy. We miss him already and can't wait to come back.

What an amazing spot! We were a group of 8 adults, there was lots of space in the house to have some down time or group gatherings. Absolutely perfect setting and close to everything, no need for a car. The house manager, Leo, and his family are so lovely. They are like secret cleaning fairies, every time we went out we came home to tidiness, but they’re not seen when we were home. Definitely have Leo’s wife Silvia cook a meal for you, you won’t regret it! The house itself is gorgeous and so scenic. We can’t wait to go back!

The local host, Leo, was very accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. Very friendly and welcoming.

We spent a beautiful day at this Airbnb. The space was perfect for an intimate family gathering, with stunning ocean views, pool access, and a clean, comfortable setting. Gabriela was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the process. The space was truly special.

What a wonderful vacation. Such a nice house in the best location imaginable. The staff is amazing. The communication was easy. Loved the swimming pool. Steps out of your door you are at an amazing beach with many food options. I highly suggest bisto Del Mar for dinner. 100 steps away from the house and an amazing dinner. 5 star vacation. We will be back.

Beautiful house! The location is excellent, it is on Playa Madera, which is the main beach in Zihuatanejo, you have everything close by, the market, restaurants, bars etc. Even so, the house is very private, super spacious and with a beautiful view. The host Gaby and Leo are always very attentive in any situation. I highly recommend it and would return ☺️

Great location and place to enjoy as a family.

It is a charming place, relaxing with incredible views and the beach is amazing for the little ones as it has very calm waves. The house has several spaces full of peace and quiet where you can enjoy as a family. Leonardo and his beloved wife's food is the best food we have enjoyed in all of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa, the best without comparison, as well as their kindness and their desire to always be aware of what you need. I definitely recommend it to disconnect from the monotony or stress of cities with traffic. A beautiful place. Thank you for everything.

Leo & Sylvia were so helpful and friendly during our entire stay. Our group can't find enough great things to say about them. The location the property was beautiful overlooking the water and a short walk into town. We loved the place and would definitely come back.

Our stay at Gabriela’s was fantastic!! We loved our private pool, the view and the location to great restaurants and bars. Leo was very helpful and attentive. It was very hot while we were there and only the bedrooms are air conditioned however we just stayed in the pool or ocean during the day and handled it without any issue. The house itself is beautiful and very roomy. Would love to return in the near future, our week at Gabriela’s was near perfect!

Breath taking view, excellent location, perfect for our 4 generation family vacation. Leo and his wife are outstanding! Loved our home cooked meal. Our stay was heaven.

The house could not have a more beautiful view and the top floor common area was a perfect breezy, shady place to hang out - though the kids preferred the pool of course. Right above the boardwalk, its an easy walk anywhere. You can hear the waves and while you can also hear people on the beach when you are outside it is nice vacation background noise and the bedrooms are quiet and you cant hear anything when the AC is on in them :) The best part of this house is Leo, the house manager, and his family. Leo is available daily for any questions or needs. His wife is an amazing cook and we paid for 2 lovely homecooked meals and they helped with some food shopping. During a city electric issue, Leo went above and beyond to get things up and running as quickly as possible and the owner, Gabriela was very communicative and had a new ac unit delivered when city power damaged the other. It was wonderful to wake up to coffee, pastries and fruit every morning

The house is beautiful and makes for an amazing vacation. It is located literally steps above the beach with beautiful views abroad the ocean and multiple floors from which to watch the sunset. We had an amazing time over new year - the layout is almost like two small 2 bedroom apartments that each have a living and kitchen space, making it great for groups and families. Leo and Silvia who work on the property are friendly and helpful, Gaby the host is responsive and shared many tips and ideas for your stay. You can walk to shops and restaurants and unlike most of the pacific coast in mexico you can actually swim at this beach as the bay keeps waves calm. The property was exactly what we hoped for and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere in Zihuatanejo. We were there with children and babies and the amazing pool and plentiful hammocks and shady trees on the terrace was perfect.

Our time at Casa Arrullo was amazing. Leo was so responsive and made us all feel like part of the family. We had a little miscommunication regarding guests (on our part)-- Gabby was responsive and thoughtful and helped up make arrangements so everyone felt comfortable. Any time we bring guests with us to Zih, we WILL stay at Casa Arrullo. Truly felt like a home away from home. Our one concern was that it's a bit of a walk to get to the house, due to construction. Our friends in Zih wasn't able to "stop by" due to her arthritis-- pretty steep getting up to the door. But our little kids, moms, dads, made the (less than) 2 minute walk to the house just fine-- it was actually very pleasant.

We had an amazing time at Gabriela's. The view is unbelievable, and the whole house was perfect and relaxing. Leo helped us with everything we needed and Sylvia is a 5 star cook!

When I came across this house on Airbnb I fell in love but as it is human nature (or maybe it’s just me) I questioned the authenticity of the pictures. I wondered if it was to good to be true… All reviews were raving about how amazing the place was, how great Gaby had been and how friendly Leo and Sylvia were. Not going to lie when I wasn’t provided a physical address and instead was given key points I was worried and started questioning if my family and I had been scammed. To the potential customers reading this know that I have no affiliation with Gabby and have no reason other than my gratitude for the tranquility this place provided my family and I to tell you the following: This house is just as pictured, the waves will sooth you into your dreams and the waves hitting the rocks along with the sunshine will wake you up. The house is three levels (main is pool area, second is bedrooms, third is the living quarters and my favorite one) and there is no elevator but if my 64 year old father found it easy to live and move around in the house so can you. Plus although you won’t want to you can completely stay on the second floor which is were the rooms are. The second floor is like two two bedroom apartments with a small living rooming and a sitting area along with a small sink and a complete bathroom in each section!!! I must admit I was shocked when I realized that we had to walk along the ocean (paved path) past other tourist and or Zihuatanejo residents. My family and I did not pack lightly so the walk to the house and up the stairs into the house was tierding for them (because Leo help me with my 2 suit cases 💕) ☺️. Leo and Sylvia had breakfast ready for us every day, the conversation were amazing and the view from the third floor brought tears to my eyes. It truly is breathtaking both during the day and night. If you plan on staying in Zihuatanejo you do not need a car!! Worst part of the house? Me realizing how out of shape I am…lol

This house is just AMAZING!! Located just steps to the beach, restaurants and town. The pool was awesome and the view of the ocean and sunsets were spectacular! The top floor was a outstanding palapa were the kitchen, dining and living room are located with 2 comfortable hammocks as well! Leo and Sylvia are beyond wonderful! Leo helped with ALL our questions and needs! He went to the market and town with us and set up some day excursions! Sylvia’s cooking was outstanding!!!!! Everyone one of us thoroughly enjoyed Leo, Sylvia and girls! They really made our trip to Zihua truly memorable! We LOVE them!!! We will DEFINITELY be going back!

Great place to stay

This is an amazing place, definitely worth every penny. Amazing house with amazing views. Both Gabby and Leo have amazing customer service. They are there for anything one needs.

Great location, common areas are really big and well decorated, AC in the rooms is a excellent. Just walk some steps and you're at the beach. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the house.

A place with a lot of tradition, it allows you to enjoy as we really have the best beaches and destinations. Great setting and the service from Leo, Silvia and the staff is wonderful, we look forward to returning soon.

Casa Arrullo is unaware of its name. A place to be lulled by the waves. The house has a prime location steps to the beach and a spectacular view. The amazing pool. The palapa on the upper floor where the living room and kitchen is a delight to spend the evenings watching the sea and hearing the waves. The amazing service. Silvia is an incredible chef. We ate lobster, tempura tacos, ceviche, brule creamer, tatin tarte, gazpacho, salt fish, and many more treats! Truly an amazing chef! Communication with Gaby was very good and we really enjoyed our vacation!

Gabys house is located directly on Madera Beach with a private staircase to the boardwalk. A beautiful home with stunning 180 degree view of the bay. The infinity pool is also a perfect backdrop for the bay view. The top floor is covered by one of the largest private home palapas I have seen. Even better view at the top with hammocks too laze the day away if thats what you like. Leo and Sylvia are the perfect hosts, they are very knowledgable about everything local and will go out of their way to help you with almost anything you need. Leo is a great local guide, he showed me the local markets and best Al pastor stands around!

A very quiet and wonderful stay, the ruin house is honoring its name ! The palapa is beautiful where you quietly enjoy the sea breeze, the pool is great ! The extraordinary view towards the sea is unbeatable!!

The common areas are spectacular, you can see the garden from the pool or from the beautiful room... and the staff is another gem! Don't miss their food, if they go, let them be allowed, which although it is optional, they make the stay unforgettable.

This is likely the best beach house we’ve ever stayed in (from over dozens of countries and hundreds of Airbnb’s). The location is walking distance to town, steps to the beach, and views of the pacific. The pool is perfect. The caretakers and owner are wonderful and responsive. The beach itself is fine sand and gentle waves easy for children to swim. The setup is perfect for two families. And the rooftop terrace is beyond special- perfect to spend every night. This beach house is as close to the beach as possible and we will be back. Also Leo and Silvia are the kindest people who take care of guests like their own family. The best stay!

Casa Arrullo - our time here was one for the books. The photos and description are just the beginning and do not do justice to the entire experience. Our stay here - and especially the warmth and hospitality from Silvia and Leo - included amenities and information that we would have been unable to accomplish and experience elsewhere. When requesting recommendations for a massage - the most amazing masseuse came that morning. When hoping to eat local ingredients, Leo went with us to the market to facilitate the shopping. Through Leo and Silvia’s recommendations and ground work, we hired a boat, had surf lessons, went horseback riding on the beach, and road jet skis, among other amazing experiences. These were all of the activities outside of the house. Inside the walls of this magical place, our family ate well, lived well, slept well, and - most importantly - found the space perfect for being together. The layout, decor, and amenities of the “Casa” feel as though they are a part of this hill along the coastline. That said, there is also a sense of privacy and security as well. Simple touches, such as leaving water in carafes in the bedrooms at nighttime, were plenty and made us feel cared for. Our stay at Casa Arrullo provided bonding experience for our family, solace in a time of need, celebration, respite, and healing. We will forever be grateful to Gaby, Silvia and Leo for their care, time, and attention. Zihua is now another home for us, and Leo and Silvia are friends. Thank you so much.

Highly recommended, very good facilities, a beautiful view, a perfect private pool, comfortable rooms, and an unparalleled terrace. In addition to this, Silvia and Leo's service was unbeatable. Silvia cooks delicious food, we forget 100% about the food, she cooked delicious food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh seafood. As for Leo, an extraordinary person who helped us get fresh fish, lobster and everything we needed for meals, and was always attentive when serving us at the table and bringing us what SILVIA prepared for us, such as snacks, fresh waters, ceviche, etc. A place that lives up to what Leo told us. “Rest and forget everything” Thank you very much we look forward to returning soon.
