Amazing stay. It was defiantly a 10/10! We enjoyed the beautiful architecture and privacy of the home. The plants and decoration were so perfectly allocated. Communication was efficient and all needs were met and exceeded. We will definitely be staying here the next time we stay in Zicatela. Thank you!

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The photos are very true to life. The area feels very quiet. There is a person who helps you run errands (Kevin), who is super reliable and very attentive The only bad thing is that there is no parking space inside or outside the house, and you have to park one block down. And the bedroom doors don't close from the inside.

Responsive host and very attentive to detail. The house has a beautiful story to tell. If you’re staying make sure to bring bug spray for the rainforest weather bugs and truly embrace the ambience of the town and bring nothing but swimsuits because it’s hot lol

Our stay at Casa Alegria was a huge success. We are a couple in our 50s with adult children and partners. All the rooms were beautifully decorated in lovely colors and materials. We prepared one meal a day in the house and ate the others at one of the many cafés and restaurants in the small seaside town. The house was checked and cleaned every day, and we really enjoyed hanging out on one of the 3 rooftops. The 7–10-minute walk down to the more lively part of town always felt safe. We highly recommend Casa Alegria as a base for a wonderful beach vacation. The house's pool is very important if there are high waves on the beach :) Hope to see you again in the future!

Great location in a quiet part of town, but walkable to everything. Outdoor treehouse feeling.

What a beautiful place for us to stay, we only spend 2 nights there but we really enjoyed the pool and the house in general; architecture is astounding, beds were great and comfortable, they have someone to come clean the house and the pool, and all of them friendly. The only thing I wish I knew before hand is the laundry situation, the listing indicates that have washer and dryer but they have it locked; you can give it to the people who comes clean and they can do it for you but we were out of the house and we missed them. Keep that in mind if you are counting on that. We did have 2 cars and the parking is on the street, plenty of it tho; just know that your car will be outside. No deal breakers for us since everything else was amazing. We have a 5 year old so for us we had to keep reminding him to be aware of the rails but that’s it. We would love to be back!

Beautiful house in Puerto Escondido. Only 12 min walk from the beach and Punta (where you have a lot of nice bars & restaurants). The house is amazing, just like you are in paradise. The host, Benjamin, was very helpful with recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

The house is very nice, we enjoyed it very much. It has a very good location, all the rooms have air conditioning and a bathroom, they are very spacious and beautiful. Every day they do the cleaning, which is a super plus because the house is always clean and you can enjoy your time there more. We enjoyed it a lot and we would have liked to stay longer!

Really good villa, in excellent location

We had a very nice stay, the house is very nice, spacious, bright, comfortable, with amenities, daily cleaning, exclusive WiFi, excellent ocean views and sunsets. Benjamin is a good host, he was in contact when needed. We were very satisfied, we would definitely go again. We recommend visiting Puerto Escondido and staying at Casa Alegría.

Oh, man! I really didn’t want to leave. La Punta is a neighborhood full of restaurants and shops. It is a ten minute walk down the hill from the house and you are on the beach! Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, lounging on different floors, cooling off in both pools, watching the sun set from the roof with a cold beer, life doesn’t get any better. Benjamin had great resources and always wrote back immediately. The house was cleaned every day, the pool maintained, internet super fast, it was a perfect stay.

We had the best time at this house! One of my favorite Air BNB stays Ive ever had. Highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a vacation.

This is one of the nicest places in the area with an incredible view that will make you not want to leave! The place was very clean and had a cleaning crew come in every day to freshen the place up for us. It is walking distance to many restaurants and the host provided us contact information to have our own private driver to get around Puerto Escondido or even have our own chef cook for us. Would definitely recommend this place if you're coming with a group looking for a very comfortable stay!

We had seen the photos on Airbnb but were blown away by the views . We had breakfast made to order each day for a small nominal fee and all around enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed the amazing house. Ademán has an amazing view. Benjamin was always on the lookout, he helped us get who made us a super, recommended us to some chefs who cook us delicious daily, helped us with the transfer, etc. I would highly recommend it

We loved our stay and could not believe how beautiful the property was. We had cleaners everyday who also replaced our towels once during the stay. Benjamin was extremely responsive throughout our stay and helped to arrange a private breakfast and provided local taxi numbers. The property is at 10 minute walk from local restaurants and the beach. The only thing to note is that there is not consistent hot water in the property with some rooms with only cold running water. However this was enjoyed by some of those staying due to warm weather. The property is extremely picturesque with beautiful sunsets on the top floor. Great decor and device. Would highly recommend the property for group holidays and the great host.

Casa Alegria was absolutely stunning. The whole house was beautifully designed with multiple different areas to chill out. We loved the pool the hot tub and the hammocks particularly. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome. Benjamin recommended a driver José who was very helpful and arranged some private trips and transfers for us. Puerto Escondido was a 10 min walk down an unmade road with a beautiful beach and a great choice of bars restaurants and shops

Casa Alegria is just as it appears in the photos. It's a very nice and well maintained house. Benjamin's attention and support from Francisca were excellent. 100% would recommend it - worth the price. The pool and jacuzzi are also in perfect condition. And the house is in the best area of Puerto Escondido

It helped us with all our doubts and made us feel very comfortable all the time. We were 10 friends and we all had a spectacular time and the house had everything to enjoy at all times. Wonderful house with good decor , there were many of us but the house offers so many spaces on its three levels that everyone can go about their business without disturbing others. Thoughtful staff, good breakfasts on request ( thank you Francesca ) The house is nearby, shops, restaurants and the beach . In the general opinion of the participants, stay OF exception!!!

10 min walking for the beach and cool restaurants and shops. Francisca made breakfast daily and cleaned the house daily as well. Overall great experience ! Up stairs room is open with no AC- bring mosquito repellent ! I would definitely come again. Great home for families !

Stunning views!!

Very nice house. The pool is very comfortable and Benjamin's attention is very good. The breakfasts are good and the truth is quite convenient to be able to go down, eat your chilaquiles and fruit and then enjoy the pool.

Wow! The best place! House is amazing! Even better than the photos! Super well located a few minutes from the main street (Punta Zicatela) the house is huge! With a spectacular view! Every room with AC and the upstairs room ( not AC) was the top of the house! It's super good for the air that even cold gave us! Every day they went and cleaned the rooms and pool which made us feel better cared for than in a hotel. The house is super clean, modern and equipped with everything you really need that is worth every penny. We enjoyed the house and the pool so much that we left very little! Just eat, the Mombasa and lychee restaurant are super recommended! That it's about 10 minutes walking distance Thank you very much Benjamin! Everything was perfect! We want to come back now.

Enjoyed my time with my family. Rooms were very comfortable. Bring mosquito spray. Outdoor spaces and connected to nature! Very nice house. Lots of space and insta worthy backdrops!!

This place was amazing and exactly what I hoped for. There was plenty of space to congregate but also spread out and relax. The space was very clean, comfortable and had all the necessities but also very well designed. It was nice to have clean water out of the taps and not have to worry about keeping bottled water on site. We had Yannick and Steven cook a few meals for us and they were delicious. We did a Bioluminescence tour through Airbnb and it was an amazing excursion. I would absolutely recommend staying here and enjoying Brisas as a smaller, beachier vibe south of the main town of Puerto. Don’t hesitate to book!

Benjamin has a great villa in Puerto Escondido. It is very spacious, and the views are truly nice. When we needed technical assistance, Benjamin was quick to arrange. He is a host with high integrity. The supporting staff were kind also. Highly recommended.

The best place we've ever stayed!! Without a doubt, everything is incredible, the ocean view on the terrace, every detail of the house is unique, the hammocks to relax, the shower overlooking the ocean and the attention at all times, Francisca's delicious chilaquiles!! We look forward to next summer to return to Casa la Alegría!!

The house is beautiful and the service is excellent. Francisca will clean the house every day, and all the amenities work well (hot water, internet, electricity, A/C). 100% recommended. Just watch out for the following to be prevented: - The top room has good ventilation, but it's the only one without air conditioning. - The pool and jacuzzi are not heated. The water in the jacuzzi was warm all the time because it gets the sun, but the water in the pool is very cold for my taste. - We were unlucky and had rainy days, so we had to take a taxi everywhere because it was a mess, since the streets where the house is are not paved.

Excellent house, we went for a bachelorette party, all super comfortable with the rooms, every day they were going to clean the pool and the house, it is well worth it! It is a 10-minute walk from the beach and there are many restaurants nearby also within walking distance, Benjamin gave us the contact information for a van and a taxi for when we needed it and was always attentive to everything, I highly recommend it!

Outstanding design and amazing house! Loved everything about the house and our stay in Puerto Escondido here. Beautiful house, great amenities, perfect service with daily cleaning, and just a short walk to the beach. Has to be one of the best Airbnb's if not the best I've stayed at! Also very important point: the pool is probably the best in all of Puerto Escondido. We stayed during a heat wave when it was extremelly hot. The sea in Puerto is perfect to surf because it's warm and you don't need to wear a wetsuit. But it doesn't help much to cool down in the heat. However, the pool in the house is surprisingly cool since it's always in the shade and completely white. We would spend so much of our days going in the pool and its the best way to cool down, made our stay so much more comfortable!

We loved our stay. The house is beautiful. We loved playing in the pools and the area of la punta. If you are traveling with kids, there is a yoga hotel right next door & we were asked to be quite one time while playing in pool. We didn’t realize how close they were so we totally understood, just something to keep in mind.

Loved casa alegria! It was so beautiful and comfortable and the amenities were amazing. The location is close enough to walk to town, plenty of restaurants around. Benjamin was so helpful and helped us arrange transportation while we were there. Overall an amazing trip will always stay here when we come back!

We had a great stay. The house was beautifully detailed and clean. The housekeeper and pool guy came daily. Beautiful view and an easy walk to the beach. Benjamin was a wonderful host providing us with great info and referrals. He introduced us to Jose Luis Martinez (of Travel Puerto Escondido) who not only drove us around but shared a lot of local knowledge and fun tour options which we took advantage of including a sunset view of sea turtles nesting.

Benjamin has been very friendly and helpful. The house is amazing. It doesn't seem like there's any hot water, but there is. You just have to be patient and wait for it to come out.

Our stay at Casa Alegria was perfect. It's a beautiful home, and the photos don't really do it justice. Every detail is thought out and it's a gorgeous space. Benjamin was a really kind and responsive host. He helped us find the house and also recommended several places for us to eat and drink. The house is cleaned every day by two really kind people, who went above and beyond to help us. And every room has it's own bathroom! This was something I wasn't clear on when booking so I hope it helps someone else out. It's an easy walk to town and the beach, but we also rented ATV's one day which made for a fun commute to the beach. Definitely a wonderful stay and I would come back in a heart beat.

Do it, book this place for your stay! I can't say enough great things about our stay at this stunning house in Puerto Escondido. The house was even more beautiful than the photos, and the view at sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The location was very walkable, and we were able to easily rent ATVs to explore the surrounding areas, including La Punta, Zicatela, and Carazillo Beach. Ben, our host, was incredible from start to finish. He was proactive in offering to set up airport transportation and was always available to answer any questions we had. The house was immaculate and was cleaned regularly during our stay. It truly is a gorgeous property and the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. When traveling to Puerto Escondido, it's important to be careful about what you eat and drink. Overall, I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable vacation rental in Puerto Escondido

We went there for my sister's bachelorette party and had a blast! Casa Alegría is the most aesthetic, comfortable and beautiful house in all of La Punta. It's about a 10-minute walk from the main street of La Punta, so it has an excellent location. Benjamin is a great guy, he was super helpful with basic things because we landed very late and that helped us a lot. Also, he offered us breakfast for an additional cost and Mrs. Francisca prepares the most delicious chilaquiles and sopes in the world. So take that option 100%. Everything in the house was perfect, except that the first night a lot of cockroaches came out of the palm tree area around the pool. I reported this to Benjamin and Francisca and the next day there wasn't a single one. It is important to note that the showers do not have doors! If you're going on a trip with friends, it might be uncomfortable for some. We really enjoyed our stay. My sister's bachelorette party was unique, special and hilarious. 🤩 Thank you!!!

Benjamin was such an incredible host and made our stay truly special. The home was exactly as the pictures portrayed and absolutely stunning. It was beyond our expectations, the perfect distance from the busy night scene to walk to but also provide tranquility just far enough away. The sunset views were to die for and the pool was the perfect place to cool off in the late afternoon. We had the best time here. Benjamin recommended a private chef that made two meals for us that were absolutely exquisite and on a separate night he invited us to a restaurant he owns and treated us like royalty. He is such a unique and special person, and his home represents that in every detail. We loved our stay and would love to come back.

What a cool spot! Walking distance to the town in La Punta. Benjamin’s oasis was walking distance to La Punta which is the coolest area of puerto Escondido.

An amazing refuge, location and space. As described to a T in description and photos. I stayed with a group of girlfriends and two little kids for 7 days—so much space for intimate hangs and also plenty of floors to spread out on. So enjoyed the views, pool and cool spot to hang—hard to leave the house because it was so lovely but also in very easy walking distance of tons of great restaurants and the beach. Benjamin was great with recommendations for everything we asked and Francisca was a lovely caretaker and evening babysitter!! Yannick cooked our first evening and it was a phenomenal meal and much appreciated after a day of travel. Would highly, highly recommend this space if you want a relaxing space in a happening spot!

We brought the family and it was great - excellent space, great design, and the location was perfect - set back from the beach and an easy walk to the buzziest street in town. Benjamin was communicative and we did follow other's advice and had Yannick come and cook a wonderful meal on our last night which was excellent and truly memorable.

casa Alergia is exactly like the pictures . the house is perfect for big groups and is in the middle of all the action. The host is a stand out here , one of the best host I have ever experienced with Airbnb . He really went out of his way to make sure our time there was memorable, from getting the liquor we requested before hand , arranging a chef , and even taking care of us at his bar. Super memorable trip !

Casa Alegria is just as beautiful as it is in the listing photos. It is not only impeccably designed, but it is very clean and comfortable. We loved sleeping in the open air 3rd floor bedroom. We woke to the gift of the moon sitting brightly above ocean, without even leaving the bed. There are fans provided for comfort and we weren't bothered by any critters. La Punta is an amazing beach and Casa Alegria is just up the hill, providing incredible beach views. Our group rented quads to transport back and forth. Puerto Escondido is a wonderful town, and staying at Casa Alegria is not to be missed!

One word comes to mind when you think of Casa Alegria- magical ✨ This place was everything and more for our group. Plenty of privacy for all guests yet just the right amount of communal areas. We will absolutely be back!

The house is amazing , has three bedrooms with bathroom each one , no curtains in any shower , mattress are really good 😌. Location wise is like 5 blocks away from the beach. There are restaurants , coffee shops and bars over the beach. Housekeeping was there daily. The concept of the house is an open kitchen / one bedroom and terrace exposed to exterior which is beautiful but with that comes some issues like bugs, ants and wasp. Also the rooftop has a beautiful view with a jacuzzi where you can enjoy ocean view , the bedroom in the rooftop has no ac so is not possible to sleep in there at least for us so we have to accommodate people in 3 bedrooms instead of 4 as planned.

In casa alegria you can expect cleanliness, comfort in any area in the house (every detail is well thought out) and a great chef! You must book Yannick to cook for you! Casa alegria has a full bathroom in every room which is a must and very comforting. The host was incredible for setting up our transportation, he made our trip easy going and communicated with us timely whenever we needed anything. This house is a must see as it lives up to the pictures.
