Greg was amazing to rent from & has been the best host I’ve dealt with on Airbnb by far. His place is immaculate, beautiful, clean, roomy and the amenities were outstanding. We were even surprised to find a washer/dryer unit which came in extra handy. The unit was supposed to be an ocean view but the hotel checked us into a garden partial ocean view. Greg contacted us to make sure everything went smooth with check-in and once he found out about the view, he personally called the hotel to try and fix it. He also called our room to let us know. The mistake in our room was not compensated by the hotel, however, Greg’s effort and going out of his way to try and help made a huge impression on us. To have a host that is so easy to reach and cares about your stay is rare to find and I will definitely recommend him to family and friends that are headed to Cancun! Aside from the little hiccup, the resort is amazing. The food at every restaurant, snack place and buffet was delicious. The waiters were constantly checking in whether we were at a restaurant, the pool or beach. There is no nightly entertainment but they did have souvenir vendors set up by the pool everyday and a live band on certain days. They also have a mini market, excursion office and covid testing place all on site which made things so easy. This place is 5 stars all the way but our host definitely gets 5 stars as well!

We had the best time at Villa del Palmar. The view from our room was amazing, the pools were huge, and the location was perfect (secluded enough but not too far from downtown). We were cooking a lot and there are 2 small markets right by the resort and Walmart is 10 min away. Greg was great to communicate with. I highly recommend!
