Can’t say enough good things about this space, in addition to the hosts, Mark and Karen. I’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnbs over the years, this one is the best, all things considered. Proximity to local attractions, your own private pool, awesome hosts with great recommendations…If you are thinking about booking a place in Uvita, you found it!

This is the best airbnb we have ever stayed in. Very kind and fun hosts, felt like family. Minutes walk to restaurants and to the beach. Pool was great to hop into after a hot day at the beach. Air conditioner worked fantastic. Place was great for the two of us. Don't wait, book this place!

We had the absolute best stay here! Mark and Karen kept in communication and gave us tons of great information before and during our stay. We learned so much about the area from them! The place was so clean and quiet. We were able to fully relax. One of the best parts was the private pool. So nice! We are already planning for our next stay here!

Lovely stay at Mark and Karen’s bungalows! Spacious and within walking distance to the National Park! Both Mark and Karen provided many recommendations for the area and were very responsive!

We would highly recommend staying at the Mana Bungalows. We absolutely loved staying here. Mark and Karen were incredible hosts. Thanks to Karen and Mark, hosts who are absolutely passionate about hosting. They took the time to share with us all the necessary information about restaurants and things to do around Uvita. On-site, you can borrow bikes to get around Uvita. And what can I say about the apartment? Everything is clean and tastefully decorated, and there's a wonderful private pool that we really appreciated. We'll be back.

Mark and Karen provided a first rate Airbnb experience. The residence was well equipped for all our needs, and was well located to access Uvita’s beaches, restaurants and other amenities. Mark and Karen were quick to respond with recommendations for restaurants and other activities for us to consider. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Our stay was glorious! This is a beautiful rental, with the most lovely and helpful hosts, and everything you could possible think for need for your stay. We are a couple late 30s/early 40s. We stayed for 4 nights. We explored town on bikes that were provided and further afield with our rental car, we had a fantastic morning exploring the whale tail at low tide with some tips from Mark, and we enjoyed being so close to the beach access area. All of the recommendations that Mark and Karen provided were exceptional. The property is gorgeous, impeccably clean, and well set up for relaxation. We picked up eggs at the grocery and sourdough at the local bakery and made a full breakfast every morning in our place. Mark and Karen provided an insane number of snacks (thank you!) and there’s a little market directly across the street. So may things were provided: Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, towels, rain umbrellas, water bottles, etc. it was perfect! We will be back - and highly recommend.

Mark and Karen go above and beyond to make your stay a 5 star+ experience! From the well appointed and beautiful decorations, equipped kitchenette, generous welcome snacks and coffee, private dipping pool and patio, available bicycles, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler, multiple restaurant and activity recommendations (many within walking distance or a short bicycle ride), and the famous whale tail beach within a 5 minute walk- every attention to detail is evident in these wonderful bungalows. We cannot wait to return to this little piece of paradise Mark and Karen have created. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Staying here was perfection. Uvita is a gem of the CR coast and the place made our trip there better than we could have hoped. They provided great recommendations, were super friendly, and their location is bike-able/walkable to the national park and nearby restaurants. Highly recommend!

Fantastic bungalow that truly exceeded our expectations.The accommodation is very comfortable,well maintained,fully equipped.The private pool was perfectly clean and together with the small backyard belonging to the bungalow it offered complete privacy.The barbecue area was excellent and well equipped.The host was extremely helpful and provided clear information about the property making everything stress free.A beautiful,well-kept bungalow is located just a few minutes walk from the beach. We absolutely recommend.We would gladly return!

5 out of 5 stars would move in if I could! My wife and I stayed here for about a week and can’t say enough great things about the house, pool, location and how wonderful Mark and Karen were as hosts. You can tell they put in a lot of effort to ensure their guests have an exceptional experience.

WOW!!! Beautiful stay. He took the time to get to know us, gave us very good recommendations for activities and restaurants. A real pleasure to stay at this place. The towel service changed, Bbq provided, bike provided, lots of things in the kitchen everything is thought of nothing is missing. A beautiful basket is offered on arrival with coffee from Costa Rica, fruit and chips. And if you have a problem, everything is settled on the spot!! The bath products that are offered are of organic quality and made by the community. I even asked where the body soap had been bought so we could bring it home. They left us a bottle of champagne with two glasses at our door for the 31st, which was delicious. The vibe is worthy of uvita. The Pura Vida!!! Thanks again for hosting us! I highly recommend it!!!

Loved staying in Mana! The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed! The outdoor pool was lovely as were the gardens surrounding it. The hosts Karen and Mark were extremely helpful and responsive. The villa was only a 5 min walk to the beach!
