The house meets the expectations for large families. The air conditioners work very well, and there is plenty of space to spend time together. The beach is super quiet and super clean.

Great six day vacation right across from the beach with a beautiful view with our entire family. Everything you need to literally stay put and enjoy the beach all day everyday. We all had a great time and so did our little furry guy as well!!!

We want to say a huge thank you to Merris for her home! We spent an unforgettable vacation there. The rooms were cozy, the linens were clean, and the kitchen was spacious and fully stocked with dishes. The living room—with its balcony and ocean view—was simply stunning! In the evenings, we listened to the sound of the waves and gazed at the sunset and the starry sky. We would happily return to this home again!

The family and I had a really good time plenty of room plenty of beds, beautiful kitchen we cooked and had everything we needed loved it will rent again.

Our group of 16 had an amazing stay at this beach house! The space was perfect for a large group—plenty of room for everyone to relax, sleep comfortably, and enjoy meals together. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and just steps from the beach, which made everything so convenient. We especially loved the outdoor area—it was perfect for grilling, hanging out, and watching the sunset. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. This trip was one for the books. We would absolutely come back again!

Merris place was a very cozy place to stay, I recommend this place if you want to be away from the town and want some peaceful quiet nights. A very short walk to the beach. And very family friendly, full of board games for the kids and very spacious. Would stay here again.

Excellent home and ocean view

I loved every moment I spent here with my family. The host was fast at responding when asked questions.This house is highly recommended if you have a big family. It is not very close to Rocky Point so if you are looking for parties you probably would need to pick something closer. I was going with kids so this worked out great for me!! :) Can’t wait to stay at this beautiful house again!!!

Great stay!

Merris was very helpful from the very beginning. She sent direct messages giving me all the information needed as soon as I made the reservation. She also sent over recommendations and resources to maximize our trip. The house was great for our family of 11. Our favorite part of the house was the top floor/balcony! The view was great and the massages we got to enjoy on the balcony even better. The nearest store is about 30 min out so getting everything you need before getting there would be worth it. The beach was to die for and extremely peaceful. I highly recommend booking, this place was such a gem!

The house is very large, very well equipped and clean. You can always be in communication with the host and she always gave us great information about safety, activities, and recommendations.

Very nice place. Quiet area, house is large. We were worried about running out of water but we did good. The water guy got there when we were leaving and said we didn’t even use half the tank. We were there 4 days. The beach is walking distance. Loved the area just a little far from town (almost 30 mins away).

Merris was an awesome host, her place is absolutely beautiful, the view of the beach was breathtaking and I couldn't have been in a better location to celebrate my birthday with family and friends, I would most definitely rent with her again. From start to finish Merris gave great detailed information on everything from the house, local spots and even crossing the border and what to expect, she left me with no questions or fears as this was my first time ever in Mexico. Saying a huge thank you once again!

In my opinion, best house in the puerto peñasco! The host is nice, attentive and accommodating! The house is HUGE! Enough for me and my family and we are a bunch! The rooms are big and the beds are comfy. Great view of the ocean which is also about a 1-3 minute walk. Im definitely coming back to this one!

Home was perfect for our family! Merris provided excellent tips. I was taken aback by the beautiful view from the balcony. Merris was attentive and made sure everything was in order for our arrival. Look forward to coming back!

Really a great place! It is far from town but we knew that going in! It was perfect for my large group and the security and beach were so nice!! Also, Merris is great. She was super fast at responding and gave me a lot of great information about the area and with the house!

Great place to stay. Beach right in front, the walkway was a minute away. Clean, safe, guards were friendly. Merris is a wonderful host, she answered all my questions before and during our stay. We all had a great time!

This is such a beautiful stay in my favorite beach in Rocky Point! It is not direct beach front, but felt very close anyway due to the open views of the sea from that amazing balcony. Each room was so comfortable in that relentless sun due to the A/Cs and the beds were very comfortable. The huge dining table had plenty of room for our group of 15, and the kitchen was well-appointed and perfect to cook in. Merris was SO responsive to every communication!! Perfect host. Overall a totally perfect stay, absolutely 10/10

This was a great place to stay with multiple families and kids. Beautiful view and so close to the beach. The kids loved the bunk bed room. The kitchen was well stocked and all of the community spaces in the house were perfect for gathering. We would love to come back!

merris is the best! my family & i were here to celebrate my cousin’s amazing wedding. this incredible (what felt like a palace) casa del sol was perfect to hold 14 of us. we all felt at home & it’s large enough to find your own space for some peace. at night, the moon bouncing off the ocean is about 10x bigger than home & is really magical! she was very responsive & really came through after a family heirloom got left behind so we could get it back 💜 everything went perfect! 11/10 would stay here again.

We stayed at Casa Del Sol for my fiftieth birthday girls week celebration. It was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and beautiful. The view is excellent, the community is safe and quiet. Merris responded quickly to a small situation that came up. She is helpful, friendly and proactive. Overall everything was perfect!!!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The beach is great for shells and not crowded. The balcony and windows had a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked and roomy. And there was plenty of room for all the family. Merris was very helpful and great at responding.

Great host! We had a memorable Christmas.

We loved our stay here! Merris’ home was very comfortable for our family of 9 adults and 3 toddlers. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics for cooking and preparing food which is important as there aren’t restaurants close by. Loved being able to walk to and from the beach without loading up the back of the truck. The area is more remote so we basically had the beach to ourselves especially due to the time of year. We all mentioned we would love to come back here again in the future. One of our top experiences of visiting Rocky Point.

Very Clean and Spacious . A really great place to Stay

Merris is an amazing host! She is great with communication and responds so quick. The house is absolutely beautiful I personally I think the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s really big and great for family vacations. The house keeper came by and made sure we had extra sheets and blankets. The view is amazing and it’s a 1 minute walk to the beach!! Winds are pretty bad tho! House was fully equipped we didn’t need to bring anything. We will definitely be back soon thank you merris! ❤️

Casa del Sol is right by a gorgeous beach! There are lots of sea shells to discover. The water was warm and when we went in August there was a lot of kelp. We had 14 people for four nights and didn't run out of water. We did have to purchase a lot of drinking water in town (30 minute drive away). The security team at Playa Encanto were very nice and we felt very safe in the area. I would recommend bringing hand towels as well as your bathroom and beach towels. There were books to read and games to play which the kids loved. We were very grateful for all the AC units and were able to keep comfortable. The kitchen/living room area is great for large group hangouts. This is a great place if you are wanting to be away from the crowds at the resorts. As a side note we totally recommend Eco Fun Adventures tour to Bird Island and Avocato Burrito Republic for churro waffles in town.

This place was awesome and a great place to stay on Playa Encanto. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. Woke up to a beautiful view every morning on the balcony well drinking coffee and is perfect stay for a large family or multiple family stay. Merris was in contact and answered all my questions when needed. We will definitely be going back and we already miss it..😎☀️🌴🌊🤙🏽

Merris is highly recommended and the perfect landlord for a vacation. She cares about your stay your comfort however allows you to enjoy your vacation and is only a phone call away if needed. This house is for multi family use friends several people very accommodating and the location is great for the beach highly recommended. I will definitely be calling her back to book another vacation.

Merris was a great host very easy to communicate with. Her home was very nice and very accommodating to our family reunion. Very specious and clean. It was a bit of a disappointment regarding the weather because of the wind storms but we made the best of it playing board games and entertaining the kids. We definitely would recommend and we would come back to stay at Merris Home.

We spent the month of March here. The home provides a home away from home with completely outfitted kitchen, large dining table, outdoor patio and lovely second-story view of the beach. Merris very quickly solved a couple of unexpected problems that occurred at the beginning of the stay. This beach, as the name suggests, is enchanting. There are miles of clean, safe, and shallow beach for children, kayaking and all forms of water play. We’ll be remembering our month at Casa del Sol with fondness for years to come.

Great place to stay! Very clean and beautiful home. Plenty of bathroom space with toilet and sink area separate. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Table space for large group meals with other, comfy seating as well in the living room area. Heating in all of the rooms for wintertime (even in the living room), which made a big difference ! To access the beach you walk down the street a couple of houses to a breezeway. Just a short walk. Two stairways in the house to get from front door to kitchen/living room area above. Beautiful balcony with ocean view. Very quiet neighborhood, felt safe and secluded. The bedrooms were clean and large and nicely decorated...very comfortable! The host was VERY helpful and friendly, quick to respond to my questions. We had a very enjoyable family reunion!
