Beautiful house. excellent location zero noise or any outside disturbance Definitely the best stay we've had in Mazatlan

I stayed at Mario's place for about six days, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Everything was exactly as described, and the home was beautiful in an equally beautiful location. Mario was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which was a thoughtful gesture. We actually ended up arriving later than expected, so we didn't end up needing it, but it was appreciated nonetheless. My only suggestion would be to consider adding a self check-in system with a smart lock. Currently, someone meets guests to hand off and collect the keys. This wasn't an issue at all—they were punctual and everything went smoothly—but a self check-in option would provide guests with a bit more flexibility and privacy. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. It was a wonderful stay, and if I have the opportunity, I would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Can't speak highly enough about Mario's place and team. They were incredibly accomodating to our requests and we absolutely fell in love with this Mazatlan villa. So much outdoor space and we took advantage of every corner! Will most definitely be renting again during our next stay :)

Close to the beach, Plaza Machado, the local market, churches, banks, restaurants, etc. We took our dog. Very easy to take him on walks through the Malecon. The person who cleaned the place during our stay, Rachel, was very attentive to all our needs

Mario and Vianey have been incredibly helpful and kind. We’ve been to Mazatlan so many times and this is by far the best stay we’ve had. Lovely place, clear instructions, clean, safe, easy access to the ocean, alarm system, a pool, what more could you ask for???? I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Amazing hosts to work with! Note, they do have personnel that goes in every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They usually show up for cleanup, maintenance and so on. Fortunately, the bedrooms are completely separate from the area where they work at, this is limited to the community/shared areas and it will not disturb you in any shape or form. They are super respectful and super careful.

Amazing place ! The arquitecture is stunning and it is tastely decorated! The location cannot be equalized: in the heart of the historic center, a block away from the sea, and still incredibly peaceful. The personnel supporting you with check-in and housekeeping is very kind and eager to help. Mario’s house will make you feel inside an intimate and cozy bubble!

Casa Venus in Centro Histórico was absolutely amazing! Communication is essential and Mario and his wonderful family were on top of it. Vianney, is Mario’s niece and such a lovely and friendly being. She was our main contact during our stay. Answered our questions with promptness and would also periodically check in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Our arrival was hours before check-in, and they were very gracious and allowed us to check in early, such a plus. We met Mario’s brother Javier and his nephew Javier Jr. who provided our transportation to and from the airport to Casa Venus. They were very thorough and showing us the house upon arrival and explaining everything to us. Now let’s get down to the nitty-gritty. The house is exactly as in the pictures. Centro histórico is absolutely beautiful. It is safe, peacefully and in walking distance to everything. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay.

Excellent place, much better than in the photos, very clean, very comfortable, very close to the plaza and very close to the boardwalk. The best place to stay in Mazatlán. Plenty of space and a private pool. Everything was excellent.

Mario and Vianey were the most helpful and attentive hosts I have ever dealt with, I even forgot my wedding ring and Vianey was so amazing and shipped it to me! The home is beautiful very fun vibe, we really enjoyed our stay, was sad to leave. We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful, clean, and quiet the area was and it was only a block or so away from so many lively restaurants. We travelled with 2 young children and the area felt very safe to walk around. The option to have the breakfast cooked for us and have groceries picked up for us prior to our arrival was very convenient! I also highly recommend the private chef service, the food was very tasty, definitely worth it, wonderful experience! They work really hard to think of all the fine details and when you stay here it really shows, thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Venus! The house is located in the charming Centro Historico, where you can enjoy the culture and cuisine of Mazatlan. The house itself is spacious, elegant and comfortable, with a lovely pool and multiple patio areas. We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen and loved the high quality bluetooth speaker system, allowing us to connect our phones and enjoy our vacation playlist. We felt very pampered by our host Mario and his family, who were always attentive and friendly. Our housekeeper Raquel was amazing, she cooked us delicious breakfasts every other morning, especially the Chorizo con Huevo. We highly recommend Casa Venus and hope to come back soon! Gracias Mario! A beautiful house, very tastefully decorated. The area is very nice, and everything is close by—an excellent location. Mario and his family took excellent care of us. It was worth it.

This villa was the perfect landing pad for a week in Mazatlan! Let me be clear by first saying that you will NOT have contact with Mario during your stay. You will be in contact with Vianey, which is presumably a family member of Mario. We had Mario's brother and nephew pick us up from the airport and drop us off for departure. One thing to note: back in August, Mario said it would be 800 pesos for pick up/drop off but then three days before told us it would be 1400 pesos due to the "big car being broken down". We were peeved, but paid it anyway. There were no house instructions, so figuring out how to use the stove and house alarm was really confusing and required us to ask Vianey how to use them. Inside is all tile, so it gets really loud and echoey in there. You can also hear people/cars right outside the front door and it can get pretty loud too. The main bedroom bathroom has two windows into the shower, so the neighbors have a direct view. Recommend covering with towels.

Where to begin, this is a beautiful home. Pictures don’t compare to the feeling when you walk in for your stay. We celebrated our wedding in Mazatlan and had such a lovely stay here, got ready for the wedding and were so centrally located to everything, it was perfect. The house is insanely gorgeous. Comfortable beds. Awesome showers and water pressure. Mario and team think of everything. Great communication and although the pool was not heated it was perfect for a Cold plunge after nights of drinking and having a swollen body hahaha. So refreshing. Mazatlan is a gem and you’ll be lucky to stay here! All the best

Absolutely loved our stay. The location is great, one block from the beach and boardwalk. Super close drive to the conservatory (definitely make a reservation a the restaurant and enjoy the view). Honestly preferred it to being in Zona Dorado, which was still a short drive over. Lots of food options. Área felt very safe, lots of families and groups of friends just enjoying. The property had everything we needed, and communication was immaculate. They gave us a bunch of great recommendations, and issues we had were quickly accommodated and resolved. We did a private boat tour recommend by our hosts and had a blast. Great way to experience Mazatlan on the water especially with family and friends. Things to note BREAKFAST: cleaning and complimentary breakfast are only on certain days of the week. Be sure to ask them when so you can plan when to eat out for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and definitely recommend taking them up on the offer. PARKING: there is no private parking, it’s street parking that’s pretty easy to come across most of the time… only times we had an issue were weekend (particularly Saturday) nights. Street parking took forever to find, and even the private paid lots were full. I recommend finding parking in the afternoon and just Ubering in the late evening. Uber was super cheap!!

I fell in love with this house from the moment I saw the photos, but even more so after our stay. It truly is my dream home, and the hospitality and amenities made our vacation simply the best. Looking forward to staying there again next year!

Wow! We spent the month of July at Casa Venus and it was spectacular. From the staff to the location, to the layout of the house, everything was more than we hoped for. First, let me say that the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful and well-appointed in person. Second, the staff took great care of us. There were a few issues here and there, as to be expected with a vacation house, and yet everything was handled in a timely fashion. The house is just cool. Well designed and decorated. The kitchen, dining and living space with towering ceilings made it fun to just hang out, talk, cook and eat. The three bedrooms We spent many days in the pool or at the beach which is only a block away. Olas Atlas is charming with many restaurants and street food on the Malecon. The Plazuela Machado is a 5-minute walk. Thursday through Sunday it’s packed with people, vendors, music, and the restaurants that spill into the streets. The Mercado is only 1 block away so we made a point to watch the sunset every night for the month. What a treat. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Mazatlan’s Centro Historic, you’ve found it. We will be back.

What a wonderful hidden gem! Mario’s place is in the PERFECT location for all that Mazatlan has to offer. The central location made it very easy for my group and I to explore different beaches, plazas, shops, and restaurants. The house is beautifully decorated and pristinely clean. Communication was quick and efficient from beginning to end and Mario and his family were very helpful in offering suggestions for sights to see, brunch spots, etc. Highly recommend this listing for your next visit to Mazatlan! Casa Venus is THE place to stay in Mazatlan. The house is somehow even more incredible than the photos - the pool is stunning, the rooftop is covered with dozens of plants and the interior decorating is beautiful. You can't ask for a better location - the house is situated a few blocks away from the best restaurants in Mazatlan and a few blocks from the beach. Mario and his family were great hosts! Their communication was great and were very helpful throughout our trip. They were quick to assist when the AC in the upstairs bedroom stoped working. We 10/10 recommend staying at Casa Venus during your next trip to Mazatlan! A few things to note: - The upstairs bedroom is quite noisey. We suggest bringing a white noise machine and/or ear plugs. - You need to walk outside in order to get to the bedrooms, they are not connected internally. - The bathroom in the master bedroom does not have any door and is fully open into the bedroom (no privacy).

Our family spent 5 nights in this amazing house during semana santa. This house and also the host is beyond perfect. The house is located 3 walking minutes from the beach/malecon and 5 minutes from plaza machado. You can find lots of worldclass restaurants in walking distance or you can enjoy the sunset on the malecon. The house itself is beautifully built and everything is well thought. It has everything you need and dream of. 3 comfy bedrooms, a stunning living room and kitchen area, a welcoming terasse on the roof and of course an amazing pool and garden arena. During the day the house feels like an oasis and in the night with all ambient lights on, the house shows his romantic side. The host was amazing, super friendly, helpfull and they always answered every question super quick. We would love to spend another holiday on this beyond-perfect-house.

Wow, loved it! Traveled extensively around the world and Mario’s team has the best service. The place is stunning, and couldn’t be in a better location. The beds are comfortable. The vibe and design is top notch. One of our favorite travel rentals ever. We will be back. Mario went out of his way to help us even after we left and had complications at the airport.

Beautiful home in the historic distric with attention to architectural detail throughtout the house. Conviniently located near the main Malecon to access Pulmonias/taxis or to explore more of the historic downtown. The masterbedroom is located in the bottom floor and there are two bedrooms that share a full bathroom upstairs. I don't think this place is child proof or for the elderly as the stairs don't have railing or guardrails. The pool was ready for us to dip into. Fully functioning kitchen and a half bath in the living/kitchen. We were able to use the washing machine, iron and drying rack. The host was available via phone at all times. Perfect stay.

Mario’s place is beautiful. The pictures, while beautiful, fall short of capturing this property’s excellence. It truly is breathtaking. The home is in the heart of Centro. One block from the ocean. Within walking distance to great restaurants. Inside the home, everything was clean. In fact, a cleaning lady came Monday through Friday. In addition, Mario ensured a smooth onboarding. He had someone meet us at the property to explain how all of the amenities worked. That person also was available via WeChat to answer our follow up questions and to make recommendations on places to ship, eat, etc. In short, highly recommend. Two drawbacks. First, the internet speed wasn’t strong enough to accommodate us (two remote workers who rely heavily on video chat.) Second, the bed in the main bedroom is listed as a queen sized, but it’s likely a full sized. For most people, this won’t be a problem. But I’m 6’7, 300+. It was a slight struggle. Those drawbacks aside, the property os great.

I’m so glad we stayed at Casa Venus. The place was spotless and the host was very resourceful. The location was amazing because we were close to a variety of cafes and restaurants and a walking distance to the malecón. I would definitely stay here again!

My girlfriend and I planned a small family trip to Mazatlan. We booked Casa Venus because we needed to accommodate five people and we loved the style of the home. We liked its open design, a private pool in case the city's Covid restrictions didn't allow beach activities, and it was in a very walkable location. Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I were unable to make the trip, so I informed Mario that the other three guests were still attending. This is their review. "This house is beautiful, comfortable and quiet. Mario and Vianey were very pleasant and helpful during our entire stay. The location is perfect! Just a few blocks from the malecón and the plazas in the centro histórico. It was very nice to wake up to breakfast from Raquel, who was also very friendly and accommodating. We made a request for chilaquiles for one morning and they were delicious!! Due to hurricane Nora, our flights got cancelled and we ended up staying two extra nights. Mario was very generous by allowing us to stay there and working with our budget which was very much appreciated. The only drawback I can think of, is that my husband would have liked to have a television in the living room, especially while the hurricane was passing and we had to stay indoors. Other than that, everything was perfect and we would definitely stay there again. Totally recommend it if you are planning a trip to the beautiful city of Mazatlán."

Mario and his team were very attentive, communication was on point, any questions or issues we had were quickly responded to. The access to the house was excellent the alarm system is very easy to manage. Really good location just a jump away from the Malecon and Historic downtown. Raquel was very helpful, the cleaning and breakfast was the best part. We did have an issue with one of the steps going up, however Paco was very quick to respond and took care of our safety. Overall, It was exactly as described. Casa Venus will not disappoint. Truly one of my best Air BNB experiences ever.

My best Airbnb experience, the house stands out for its design, decor and comfort. Very well located in the Historic Center of Mazatlan. Mario and his people's service was impeccable, there was always a lot of communication and nothing went wrong. We will definitely be back to Casa Venus. Magnificent!

Location, Location, Location.....Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Malecon and historic downtown, Casa Venus will not disappoint. The house is as advertised with great architectural detail. Mario and his staff were gracious and went above and beyond to accommodate and ensure our stay in Mazatlan was as expected. Would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone traveling to Mazatlan; whether for the spirited and lively Carnaval, or peaceful getaway throughout the year.

An excellent experience, one of the best we've ever had on AirBNB! The Venus House, a "chulada"... unbeatable facilities and beautiful details that make it unique. Excellent location, with Plaza Machado on one side and the Malecón on the other, just two blocks away. Mario and his family were always attentive to our requests. Highly recommended!
