First my wife and I were told not to use the front bedroom or air, and asked to limit our air con to late night. My daughter and her children came over to visit, and use the pool. My grand daughter found 3 pieces of glass in the pool and almost 100 broken and sharp tiles also in the pool.

This was a perfect first place to arrive in Nicaragua! The house manager, Julio, picked us up at the airport and literally treated us like family- great tours, incredibly responsive, house was comfortable and exactly as described. Julio also had incredible recommendations for food- both local places and nice restaurants. He never led us astray! Pool was very refreshing to lounge in with the heat- but the AC’s work incredibly well in the bedrooms at night, so it was very comfortable to sleep in!

Julio was a great host, very responsive, and met us at the airport and provided transportation to the house. The house felt very much like an oasis in the city. Our kids LOVED being able to swim after walking around the city every afternoon. Very clean and welcoming. Again, Julio was a great contact to have and had a lot of suggestions for things to do in and around the city.

Casa Romántica is a nice little colonial home very close to the center of town. A good value/price for a nice traditional place with a dipping pool. The photos are likely from several years ago when the house was in much better condition, but it’s still charming.

The place was beautiful and Julio was an incredible host. He helped us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Granada. I hope to come back again! Thank you for everything.

House as described, small pool was a great plus. Location ideal for easy walk into centre past many food cafes and restaurants. Suggested restaurants in house book was a real help.

Well-located accommodation in the city, if you enjoy the city. Close to a street with restaurants and places to visit. A few small things were missing from the accommodation: a lighter to light the stove burners, a cutting board, and flat sheets for the beds, so we had to use the duvet cover directly. Cleanliness was OK, but a few details cast doubt on the cleanliness: hair in the shower, towel folded but dirty in the bathroom, dining room table showing signs of a dirty rag used to “clean” it. The open-air space is great during the day, but for an hour or two in the evening, it turns into a real mosquito nest. We didn't have a spiral binder, and the box in the drawers was empty. So remember to bring mosquito coils. We’re more nature lovers; it was more of a “pit stop” for our arrival, not too far from the airport (about 50 minutes).

Overall we had a pleasant experience during our stay. The location was very convenient to explore Granada; the co-host Julio was helpful to find one more bike for our party to use, as well as assist with completely laundry service. The home could use some minor maintenance upgrades and a master bathroom deep clean. I contacted the host about those issues and they were receptive about our recommendations.

Pros: Julio is amazing. If you need anything he will bring it to you or take you to it. AC works great Pool is nice to use Walkable to all restaurants and places around Hot water and good pressure Cons: Oversold Pool has broken tiles all inside, no pool floaties The sheets imported from us with 1800 thread counts is crap those are Walmart cotton cheap sheets. The worst beds with no “3” feather foam mattress covers” Everything is run down and needs a deep clean No oil, no salt and pepper, no basics to cook (Julio happily brought some though) Water dispenser was super dirty and had the old left over from previous people No large plush beach towel. Cheap regular towels TV not working speaker didn’t have a charger No board games to be found Only one bike available No laundry machine (Julio got things taken care of) But Julio was truly the best host and just at your service. We would stay there again simply because the pool/hammock area and Julio was the best host honestly !

My husband and son really enjoyed the place. Really spacious and met our needs. The only thing is the mosquitos at night ate me and my son alive. We put mosquito repellent and lit the mosquito repellent that is offered but didn’t help. Also the bed downstairs was not comfortable at all. All 3 of us slept upstairs since it was more comfortable accommodations. It is a beautiful place, it just needs a little more TLC.

Beautiful colonial house in the heart of Granada's historic center. They did a very nice renovation of the original house, with a small open area with a swimming pool that provides freshness and clarity inside the house. The location is very good, close to everything and there is a parking lot nearby to leave the car at night. Communication was very good and they treated us very well, they were very kind.
