This was the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at in Mexico. It was in a perfect location, quiet and peaceful and a 2min golf cart ride to town, and 4 min cart ride to the beach. it’s on a hill so a golf cart is highly recommended. The house was very clean, and nicely decorated. It had lots of interesting spaces and it really felt like we could spread out and get comfortable. It was also very well stocked. The patio and pool was great too. The views from the rooftop palap were to die for and we definitely enjoyed the second rooftop kitchen, bbq at sunset! However despite the house being super clean, and comfortable…Diane and Pedro were wonderful hosts and really made our stay incredible. They went out of their way to welcome us, recommend things to do and help with logistics. All the while they were friendly and warm, like neighbors we had known for years but actually only just met. We cannot recommend this higher. Thank you for having us!

We stayed at Dianne's place to spend the weekend with friends. The house is beautiful, quiet, and has lots of amenities. I felt right at home. I couldn't recommend a house in Sayulita more. It was amazing! Pedro, who welcomed us, was the best host!!

Such a wonderful stay! From the time we booked until check out, Diane was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Villa Monte offered concierge services which was a nice touch since it was our first time in Sayulita. We had family members who stayed at local (expensive) hotels in the area and they said nothing compared to what we had at Villa Monte. We will definitely return on future trips to Sayulita!

We loved the place, it was a perfect home and location for our family of five to stay in. It's located on the hill, so away from the bustle, but close enough to engage with the town whenever we wanted which was great for ourselves and our young adult kids. Waking up to a view and a beautiful morning, as well as coming home to a pool, or rooftop bbq dinner, and a beautiful home after a day out was absolutely perfect. Diane and Pedro were so amazing with their communication and help right from my initial booking. I felt all questions were easily answered and Diane provided great suggestions whenever I needed it.

The home was well appointed, spacious and better than described. We comfortably slept 7 on a girls trip. Diane was responsive throughout our planning and vacation. It was a quick 5-10min direct walk up a steep hill- we had a golf cart, but it wasn’t necessary if you’re comfortable being active. The pool was warm, clean and inviting. We had a lovely time in Sayulita thanks to Diane and her home!

Fantastic getaway for a large group of adults. You will not regret staying here, and Diane is a fantastic host!

We were 7 adults: mom and dad, kids and their partners, and an aunt. We’ve gone on holidays together before, but this place had rooms on half landings so lots of privacy, as well as three big communal spaces: the pool area, open plan DR, LR, and large tv room. Furnishings were curated and thoughtful, steps above usual airbnbs. The beds had comfortable sealy pillows and 4” foam toppers, with ac and overhead fans in every bedroom. Bathrooms for each of the four rooms were lovely. There were bathrobes for everyone and lots of drawer space and hangers. The house is at the very top of a hill, above the town, so quiet, and with great views of jungle and ocean.more than once we watched whales play from the two decks. hire golf carts unless you like to walk up steep hills with groceries. DIane knows the best deals for these. She lives next door and was responsive to every need. The heated salt pool and loungers were so perfect that we mostly stayed home. We’ll be back.

Diane is a great host. Very sweet and responsive, staying at the Villa felt like paradise, very large space with beautiful views.

Ville Monte is a truly gorgeous hilltop property that was perfect for a weeklong vacation for our family group of 9. The villa is beautiful inside and out. The location is great, less than 10 minutes by foot from Sayulita's vibrant plaza (or a $5 USD taxi ride, useful when heading back uphill!). We spent many hours in and around the beautiful pool and really enjoyed the ocean views from the villa's perch high on Monte Calvario, aka "Gringo Hill". Diane and Pedro are some of the nicest people you'll meet and really went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing and rewarding vacation. I honestly can't recommend it enough!

We had the best time at Villa Monte and plan on returning in the future! The house is amazing and so much better than the photos. Diane and her team go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and we are so glad we chose to stay here!

Diane made our stay feel like a vacation, meeting our every need and answering our every question about our villa, activities, and recommendations. The villa was gorgeous and the pictures hardly do it any justice. The view, lounging spaces, living room and pool made it really hard to leave to explore the town centre. We stayed here with 2 kids under 6 and really benefited from renting the golf carts. We will ve staying here again when we come back.

This house was excellent for our group of 6. At the top of the hill, a bit removed from the madness of town which is nice. Quiet, incredible view and a bit cooler air than in town. Very safe. The pictures don’t do the house justice. Host was also very helpful in assisting with airport rides and logistics. I would suggest a golf cart, which host can also assist with as it’s a hike up the hill unless you’re ok with a bit of a walk up the hill in the weather. Hope to come back again next year!

I and 9 of my closest friends went to Villa Monte for my 40th birthday and we could not have imagined a better venue for the trip. Diane was a stellar host, immediately responsive to any questions or requests, greeted us with warmth, the home itself is impeccable and even better than the pictures and description. The pool was somehow magically the perfect temperature day or night. The views were incredible. The beds comfortable and cozy. And the home is decorated with such special touches and details. We had plenty of space to be tightly social or go rest and recharge on our own - and we could get into town and back pretty quickly and easily (made easier the days we decided to rent a golf cart, which was also such fun). I'm so glad I found this home to stay in, anyone thinking about it - don't think, just book! I also love the town of Sayulita, it has such a unique charm to it <3

Our family’s stay at Villa Monte went exceptionally well. The Villa was AMAZING. Our three kids (all under the age of 13) especially loved the heated pool. Everything is exactly how it looks in the pictures, just so incredible in person. Diane was one of the best hosts I’ve encountered. She was very responsive and kind from the time we booked the trip til the second we left. We used the concierge service for a few things and found it well priced and convenient. We are definitely planning on returning to Villa Monte as the house was the perfect fit/layout for our 5 person family and an in-law. Muchas gracias Diane!

Diane’s listing was absolutely incredible and looked even better than the photos. Both Diane and Pedro were super responsive and even installed a NEW fridge when our fridge stopped working halfway through our trip. The location is stunning, peaceful yet close to downtown.

The home was exactly as advertised. We were given a tour of the house upon arrival and were treated with such kindness. Pedro, the hosts property manager, was extremely kind and helpful. My friends and I felt like we were in a movie with how beautiful the home was. The recommendations that were provided to us were also extremely helpful. The only advice I’d give for future guests is to make sure to have flat shoes because the house is located at the top of an inclined hill. Heels are not safe to wear but thankfully we all had brought sneakers/flats. Overall, I highly recommend this property. Service was fantastic, house was super clean, and we all felt right at home. Thank you so much!!!

We have stayed at multiple places in Sayulita and Villa Monte is by far our favorite place. We want to promote it and we want to keep it a secret because it is such a gem for a trip. The view is stunning. I loved sitting on the balcony of a morning drinking coffee and staring at the ocean. The outdoor daybed is another lovely place to take in the view and read or work remotely. My group enjoyed taking golf carts to breakfast in the morning, playing spikeball at the beach, and returning to the beautiful pool in the afternoon before going out to enjoy the restaurants again in the evening. The location from town is an easy five minute golf ride. Diane has a fabulous website for easy booking of excursions or services, too. She has thought of everything to make trip planning easy. Thank you to Diane and Pedro. We would like to come back again same time next year.

My group and I loved our one week stay! The rooftop palapa was perfect for practicing yoga and meditation, as well as spotting whales, eagles, and other birds. Cooling off in the pool after climbing up the hill to the villa was always a blissful treat. Diane was a wonderful host; she was the icing on the cake for ensuring that everything went smoothly. Diane’s house is even better in person and the best Airbnb house and host we have ever had. The views from every room are amazing and the place itself is beautiful. Diane was so helpful with everything from rides to and from the airport and private massages on the top floor of the villa. They arranged a golf cart and gave us lots of local recommendations. Kitchen was great, pool was awesome, beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean, and the views were breathtaking. Every part of the house was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this house and can’t wait to stay here again.

We just finished an incredible stay at Diane’s home in Sayulita. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Diane was incredibly proactive before our visit and helped us secure golf carts and airport transportation. She also met us for check-in and gave us a lovely little tour of her amazing home. It truly is one of, if not the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. If you’re traveling with a larger group, there is ample space to be social, but at the same time you can escape to your own private room where it’s peaceful and quiet. We all slept great in the comfortable beds and ice cold AC. We were in town for a wedding with no plans to visit Sayulita in the future, but after staying with Diane, we have changed our minds and will definitely return. Thank you, Diane!

Diane is a fantastic host. She organized our shuttle from the airport and had a golf cart waiting for us once we arrived. the house was beautiful with an amazing pool area, which was very much needed due to the incredible heat and humidity in October. There was a brief power outage which was fixed very quickly. International travel can be tricky, but Diane was a very gracious and proactive host. We cannot say enough about her and her house. Great location, great space for 3 couples of various ages and great recommendations.

What a beautiful place to spend a week with our family (6 adults and one toddler). We loved every part of this house, from the amazing pool area to the top floor balcony with grill where we spent our evenings watching the amazing sunsets. The host helped us organize a meal at home, transport to and from the airport, and maybe most importantly for Sayulita, helped us get a golf cart so we could head to town and the beach with ease. Couldn't recommend the place enough!

The house was in perfect condition, very comfortable, and had a lot of great amenities. The pool and views were also amazing. From the day of arrival, the hosts were in touch and always available to help with any questions or needs. This was truly the best stay we've ever had, and we can't recommend Villa Monte highly enough. We look forward to coming back!

What an amazing 30th birthday trip with my friends staying at Diane's place. She was so helpful; for months before the trip she responded to my questions and assisted with booking activities and transportation. She met us at the airbnb to show us around and answer any questions. Have already recommended this house to multiple other people. Had the most wonderful time in the pool and in the palapa for coffee. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

This was a perfect getaway home for us. Diane was in contact from start to finish and was so sweet and pleasant. My friends and family all loved the home and they all just wanted to stay. I never wanted to leave the house honestly. It was so comfortable and homey... I couldn't imagine a better situation. The pool was perfect. The house seemed secluded, yet it was only like 8 minutes to walk to town. We could never decide where to hang out together; the pool, the rooftop, the living room, the TV room...it was all so relaxing. We would happily return one day in the future. Thank you Diane!

I planned a little getaway to Sayulita for my girlfriends birthday and Diane’s accommodations did not disappoint! The place was beautiful (as advertised) and very clean/ready for arrival. As soon as we arrived, Diane was onsite, and gave us a great tour of the place, offered information and answered any questions. Diane was extremely communicative throughout the trip and helped us with any questions immediately. She also put us in contact with multiple services (ride to and from airport, golf cart, private chef). When inquiring about services, she set everything she could up beforehand and coordinated correspondence between us and the other party’s through what’s app (made everything very convenient). As for the accommodations and location, the villa was comfortably large and extremely appealing. There were day beds and a nice sized pool so we were able to relax all over the space. Bottled water was pumped through the fridge. Would highly recommend and would come back for sure!!

This villa is just magical. On top of the hill overlooking the ocean. So many different levels of relaxation. The heated pool with ocean views was a treat. On the floor above was a day bed to just nap and stare at the ocean. On the floor above, an outdoor kitchen and living space to watch sunsets and enjoy dinner and drinks. One of the finest rentals I've stayed in.

Communication from Diane was seamless! The host was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. WAll of the amenities were top-notch, and the host's guidebook had some fantastic local recommendations. We were seriously taken aback by the breathtaking views from the balcony.

Beautiful place and awesome view! Spent Christmas with family and Diane went above and beyond to accommodate us in every aspect. Upon arrival we were received by Pedro who was very friendly showed us around the home explained where everything was and made us feel right at home. They had usb chargers in small bags in every room, small speakers, noodles for the pool, toiletries, great laundry area, and games. Can’t express enough how well equipped the home is. I would definitely recommend and come back. Great Sayulita experience.

An absolute must if you are staying in Sayulita. A beautiful home, priceless view, amazing accommodations, and gorgeous property. Diane and Pedro made our trip absolutely wonderful and were responsive, attentive, and so kind and welcoming. The location is fantastic and you are close to the main town square which has everything you will need. The concierge services were incredible. Our family ordered golf carts for the week (a must in Sayulita), tequila tasting, massages, and organized a dinner with a chef. Not to mention coordinated our airport transfer. Everything was seamless! Additionally, they organized baby stuff to be delivered to the house for my daughter. I can’t encourage you too book here enough- it is spectacular! I hope you love sayulita as much as our family did. We will be back!
