Excellent property to spend a few days on the beach, a very quiet location and with plenty of privacy. The property has all the amenities for a weekend, kitchen, pool, clean bathrooms, air-conditioned bedrooms, etc. I recommend it 100%

The house is in an excellent location, beautiful, tidy and has direct access to the beach, which is a great view to wake up and at sunset. The internet worked very well, ideal for virtual work meetings. Francisco was very kind, attentive and gave me good recommendations.

We came here from USA, first stop in moving to Merida. Wanted isolation and relaxation...and we got it! Hosts had a delicious, local cake for us in frig, even went to store to stock up on groceries with our list. They answered all questions we had and even helped in our search for a more permanent home in Merida!! Would rent from them again!!

The house is spacious and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It is right on the sea, the internet works perfectly and there is space for a fire on the beach as well as taking the kayaks to take advantage of the days with the calm sea.

This property has a fantastic location in San Benito, a very pretty area on the Yucatan coast. You walk in and the beach & ocean view is breathtaking. It is almost in your lap. I loved that I could be in the pool while looking at the ocean. The house has great cross ventilation - we never turned on the air conditioning during our visit, even though May is the hottest month of the year. The house has some beachy vegetation and a small dune in front, which increases the privacy without interrupting the view. Beds were comfortable and firm but not hard as many Mexican mattresses can be. Great water pressure in the showers and a well equipped kitchen. The house is close to a few restaurants - but having a car helps a lot. Finally, the owners were very kind. This was a last minute rental for a friend’s birthday and they managed to include a birthday cake in the fridge, with only one day’s notice! This is really going above and beyond what I expected.

I highly recommend this place, the bedrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. The pool is very clean and they maintain it very often. The beach is a few steps away and the service of the owners is extraordinary, always friendly, helpful and with lots of care. They definitely made for an unforgettable holiday.

Here's the revised review: Let me describe this place in one word: Incredible! Beautiful! Peaceful! Pefect! Serene! Private! Okay, that's more than one word, but this place is so much more than I can describe. The location is away from any crowds and is a slice of heaven. The home provides everything you could want or need (shampoo, soap, towels, coffee, seasonings, plates, cups, silverware, bakeware, tupperware, pots/pans, kayaks, lounge chairs, beach umbrella, swim noodles, ... I could go on and on). The beds are comfortable and the A/C works well in each room. Beyond that, the view of the ocean is beautiful, with its mesmerizing shades of turqoise. Since the back faces north, you get to enjoy ocean-view sunrises and sunsets; they are norhting short of spectacular! During our trip, we needed help because our rental car was impounded. Not speaking spanish and needing not only a ride, but assistance with getting the car out of impound on a Sunday, Francisco couldn't have been better. He knew the delicate balance of what it took to get anywhere with the authorties. This was no small feat that involved hours of negotiating on the part of Francisco. We hit a snag and had to return a second day to retrieve the car. So on Sunday night, Francisco let us have his own car for us to use until we could get the rental car back. When it came time to pay the fine, Francisco covered the nearly $1000 (USD) fee because we did not have enough pesos, and even told us to just pay him back once we returned home. It was another unbelievable act of kindness and trust on Francisco's behalf. We can't recommend this place or its hosts enough. It is a place of tranquil solitude and beauty, hosted by folks who treated us like family.

This place is absolutely magical. My partner and I came here to celebrate her birthday and work remotely from the beach for a week. We loved it. Our host greeted us with a birthday cake for my partner in the fridge, and even added some cooking equipment that I requested to the kitchen so I could cook her favorite birthday meal. He also coordinated with my partner's mother so that she could be surprised by flowers arriving on her birthday! During our entire trip he was very responsive on WhatsApp with lots of great suggestions for local adventures and places to eat. The house itself is wonderful, and falling asleep to sound of the ocean every night is amazing. When lying in bed, you can't be more than 30 feet from the shoreline. One night we made a fire right on the beach, and saw the most amazing stars overhead. This place is great for couples, but there are four full bedrooms so could easily support larger groups as well. Highly recommend!!

Our host was tremendous. Very thorough upon entry and quick to respond/ fix anything which was needed. If you are looking for a place for live/ work/ relax/ immerse yourself in the local treasure, than you cant do much better than this one. Wonderful beach, great internet, everything worked and there were lots of things to use within the house and property. Listen to the waves as you sleep, float in the ocean or refresh yourself in the pool. We had a great time.

Francisco and Ivette are great hosts. They were always on the lookout for everything we needed. Since we arrived they were very nice and made recommendations for us. Her house is really clean, really nice, and the sea is beautiful!

Francisco is a tremendous host who very kindly left local goodies for us to eat in the fridge. The house is cozy and filled with artwork. It’s also super comfortable, with high water pressure and super fast internet. The beach is a stones throw from the house, so you can swim or kayak(which he kindly provided) in the gulf or enjoy the crystal clear pool. We had a wonderful time.

The location is wonderful even with bad weather! Francisco is very kind and helpful; he answers and resolves all inquiries quickly. Ivette, his wife left us a delicious cake and wonderful coffee. They are both very nice!! The house needs attention to certain details that could make the stay an unforgettable experience.

From the moment I booked this house, Francisco was attentive and helpful. Because we were arriving late on Christmas Eve, I was concerned that restaurants and stores would be closed on Christmas and we wouldn’t have food. Francisco stocked the refrigerator with great food, and thought of even the smallest of details. Francisco was always available to answer questions and put our minds at ease. Our favorite part of the house was hearing the sounds of waves, and seeing the view from the house. The beds were very comfortable and there was enough hot water for showers. We rented a car, which is a must as there isn’t anything very close by—Except for José’s shop, which my boys liked to frequent. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is your place.

Francisco made sure that the water reserve and the pool were full when we arrived. The house is very well located, directly on the beach, in the middle of the road between Progreso and Telchac Puerto. In both towns there are many excellent places to eat fresh fish and delicious ceviches. The entrance to a nature reserve where you can see flamingos is 1 km from the house. Really a spectacular 11 day vacation. Perfect for a vacation with family and children. We are going to come back !!! Our guests were very attentive and immediately responded to questions. I would definitely go back to this house, Francisco is very friendly and helpful, answered all my questions and was always attentive in case we needed anything. The house is first-class!! All the facilities and services are very complete and working; the beds and rooms are very comfortable; the kitchen is super equipped, everything we needed was in the kitchen; the pool, dining room, living room and terrace are super good! If you are looking for tranquility and resting from home, it is the option. Nearby (approx. 10-12 km) is the Xcambo Archaeological Zone and the pink flamingos ponds. Recommendation: Do the super before arriving at the house, otherwise there is a small store about 12 km away.

My family had a wonderful long weekend in the house. The house has everything to feel very comfortable, but at the same time you enjoy the proximity of the beach. We had a quick response to our doubts or needs. Something that I thought was fantastic is that I was able to travel with my dog who is part of the family. The house and the attention received are highly recommended

Beautiful beach house oceanfront. Large 4 bedroom 4+ bath, high ceilings plenty of closet space in every bedroom, open floorplan on 1st floor with large kitchen, living room, dining room, patio and pool. Francisco and Yevette were the nicest hosts and people!

The house is modern yet comfortable. The house is right on the beach, nothing beats the sound of waves crashing to put you to sleep. We didn't use the AC once because the breeze was incredible, keeping us cool and bug free. Francisco is an excellent host, truly went beyond the call of duty with every request. He gives great suggestions on restaurants, cenotes and other attractions. There are staff three lots over to accommodate any immediate needs, although we didn't need much. I do recommend taking your laundry into Progresso, you will be grocery shopping and running errands there anyway, you can drop off and pick up the next day, its inexpensive (measured by weight so sun dry your towels beforehand) it is all machine washed, folded and packaged nicely with every last garment accounted for. I can't say it enough so I'll say it again, Francisco is an excellent host, youre in good hands in this rental and if you're good he will bring you a cake from the best bakery in the region. Description of property accurate. Wonderful house was clean, railings were strong for my dad (89) to use), water was connected to refrigerator for ease of use and making ice cubes, and pool was cleaned twice during our 5 day stay. Wonderful laundry area for hanging laundry. Location was about a 10 minute drive form Chicxulub and had LONG beach to walk and swim. Water was sandy bottom and shallow with no coral but great for swimming.
