While the overall experience was not good at all, the real low point was the location inside of Hacienda Pinilla, which is a long drive on rough, potholed, dirt roads to get anywhere of interest or utility such as a town, nice beach, restaurant, supermarket, etc. Additionally, access to the Beach Club, which is about the only thing to do if one is trapped inside of Hacienda Pinilla, has a cost of $45 per person per day because the host has only a personal membership that does not give guest access; you can do the math…

We had an incredible stay in Alexandra’s home! The house is absolutely gorgeous—even better in person than in the photos. The rooms are spacious, the ceilings are high, there are large windows in every room and the natural light is great. We found the beds really comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials. Alexandra is a very responsive host, super friendly, and gave use great recommendations as we settled into and explored the area. Highly recommend :)
