The place was lovely. Rooms are all very nice and are all similar in layout and appointments which is so nice when Sharing and Airbnb with friends. The courtyard and pool were lovely. So many birds! And breakfast was so nice to have in the morning. Delicious. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful home. It had all the amenities you could ask for and felt like home. Maria and Phil accommodated our schedules and even bought beach towels for us at 7am! Would gladly stay here again.

Phil’s place was such a special haven for our visit to La Paz. We loved enjoying prepared breakfast every morning and watching hummingbirds in the garden. The house is a short walk to the Malecon and a ton of local eateries nearby (elote! Tortas! Clams!). We also loved that each room had its own bathroom. Phil and Maria were great hosts and made sure we felt right at home.

Phil’s place was perfect for our family. Each room has its own bathroom and there are lots of comfortable places to hang out together outside the bedrooms. The location is easily walkable to the waterfront, restaurants, groceries, pharmacy, etc. The house has a great layout and care had been taken to make sure the little things we may need were all already there. Easy and comfortable stay.

Great place and location. walkable to malecon but far enough away to be quiet. pool was great for the kids and breakfasts were amazing! everything worked including wifi.

What an amazing find! Everything was so comfortable and easy. Maria gave us a tour, and Rocio was flexible with our early breakfast schedule. The courtyard and pool are delightful, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the breakfast was a lovely bonus. The location is right near the malecon, with a grocery store and restaurants within 5 min walking. This place will top my list on the next visit to La Paz.

This is a truly beautiful home with incredible hosts. They are super responsive and helpful. Everything works and is well cared for. Garden interior courtyard is beautiful. Beds comfortable, they provide beautiful quilt one bed and an extras: fleece blankets, xtra pillow and beach towels. Breakfast by Rocio amazing! Everything was great. Walkable to great restaurants and malecon very close. Suggest bring earplugs if you are sensitive to traffic noise. Not a major street but this is Mexico.

We stayed 10 days at Phil’s beautiful home. Close to Malecon and very walkable. The place was clean and had a great breakfast included which was perfect. The pool is not heated and it was too cold to use during this time. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

One of the best places I've stayed. Extremely well thought out for a group or family. Enjoyed the warm pool, lovely breakfast, beautiful courtyard. The morning breakfast by Rocio was incredible. For light sleepers, bring ear plugs due to some street noise - you are in the city. Has all the necessary amenities including washer/ dryer, plenty of filtered water, extra blankets, plenty of seating, toiletries etc. Excellent grocery store in the next block. Could use an additional set of towels or beach towels.

Casa Dulcinea is a beautiful villa in a great location! The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Phil and Maria greeted us upon arrival to provide a tour and overview of the house amenities. The host lives onsite but has a separate entrance and living area. Phil and Maria were very helpful and responsive. The breakfasts prepared by Rocio were delicious and a great start to the day. Bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage space. Our mattress was a little firm for our personal liking, but still comfortable. Bathrooms were nice with walk-in showers. The courtyard/pool area was very relaxing and provided a beautiful oasis for morning coffee, evening cocktails and birdwatching. The house is conveniently located and a walkable distance to coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store, the Malecon, and exploring La Paz. For anything too far to walk we took an Uber, which was very reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay at Casa Dulcinea and highly recommend it for a La Paz vacation.

Beautiful, spacious, clean home and our family loved our stay. The breakfasts by Rocio were delicious and such a treat. The hosts were incredible warm and communicative. Everything was walkable but was about a 10 minute walk to the main area with restaurants, etc. Some noise at night with cars on the street, dogs barking at times - so just something to be aware of & bring ear plus. Also good to know - as is stated in the listing, the neighborhood is upscale but mixed and developing - so as you walk to and from town you're walking through a mixed neighborhood. Didn't bother us, but may bother some!

The house was spacious and suited our needs well for our family of 5 to spend Christmas together. The location was excellent - close to the Malecón, restaurants, mural walking tour and other sites. We loved the outdoor spaces of the main patio as well as the upstairs patio. There was little road noise and all of the amenities worked well. A highlight was the delicious breakfasts served in house that got us off to a good start for adventuring. We highly recommend this beautiful home as a special place for a trip to La Paz. Beautiful house in the wonderful Esterito neighborhood. The on site host assistant was kind and went above and beyond to make us a delicious breakfast every day. Having the pool and courtyard and kitchen was perfect for our group stay!

Casa Dulcinea is a wonderful Villa! Highly recommended! Our family, 4 adults and 2 children, was very comfortable. The courtyard and pool are a quiet, private oasis with beautiful flora and heated pool. Breakfasts prepared by Rosio were delicious and an absolute treat! Phil and Maria are responsive and helpful hosts. The Villa is perfectly located in the Esterito area of La Paz, an easy 3 block walk to the Malecon and numerous great coffee shops and restaurants nearby. We were delighted with our choice of the Villa Dulcinea for our stay in La Paz.

We had the pleasure in staying at Phil's oasis for three nights. The gardens and pool made for pleasant evenings after spending the day walking down the malecon and strolling through town. Best start in the morning with a fabulous breakfast made on site. All in all a great stay!

My family (parents, grandparents and two kids ages 4 and 7) had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, and looks like the set of a movie. The private patios upstairs, and by the pool gave us lots of room to spread out, read a book, watch a movie, have some wine, or swim in the pool with the kids. There's a private parking spot in the front, which is very convenient. The ocean and boardwalk are a short walk away, so it's easy to have a day around town. There's a local grocery that's very inexpensive compared to the U.S. It's also very convenient and easy to drive from Phil's house to the beautiful beaches in the north. We went to Balandra, Tecolito, Coromuel, and Caimancito. Maria made the best breakfasts we've had in all of Mexico, which is included in the price. This was a big savings because the local restaurants can be expensive. Maria and Phil took care of all our needs. They answered all our questions, gave us lots of tips for local beaches and restaurants. We will be back!

Phil and Maria's place was wonderful! It's beautiful, thoughtful, comfortable, and in a great location. They were both super warm and easy to communicate with. It's a really special place. We will be back!

Stunning and impeccably clean house in a quiet neighborhood that was walkable distance to the Malecon and the great restaurants…Heated pool and Victoria cooking breakfast every morning were cherry on the top of an incredible stay with our family…We can’t wait to go back!

From the arrival to our last moment in the house, everything was great, Phil's staff is wonderful and they make you feel better than at home, Victoria's breakfasts are insanely delicious! The house is steps away from Sorstis, Nim, Tres Virgenes, the pier, shops, pharmacies, everything, everything is close by. I couldn't put anything negative because we just couldn't find it. It was a perfect, fun week and if Phil receives us we will be back very soon!

My family loved staying at Phils! It was myself and partner, our son and my parents. The house was perfect, breakfast was an amazing, delicious treat, and it was very walkable. We loved sitting around the pool during the heat of the day. We recommend renting a car to get to beaches up the coast. Phil and his support staff we incredibly helpful - even checking in when they heard a few in our party weren’t feeling well. Highly recommend!

This was our family's first time in La Paz, and Phil and his team helped make it a joy. From the local recommendations around his centrally located and beautiful home, to the morning breakfasts by Victoria, we felt right at home. And when we weren't out exploring, or we needed to escape the afternoon sunshine, we'd settle into the home organized around a tranquil and very private courtyard. We felt right at home and can't wait to visit again.

I came to La Paz for my birthday to swim with whale sharks and our stay at this Airbnb was great. The place is beautiful with traditional design. Very central and close to the beach. Loved the inner courtyard with hummingbirds and plunge pool. Breakfast included made it extra special. Everyone we met was super accommodating and so nice. Highly recommend.

Our family has traveled a lot and stayed in many amazing Air Bnbs. Our recent trip to Phil's house in La Paz was the best for many reasons. First, Phil met us and oriented us briefly to the house and the neighborhood. Secondly, the house is gorgeously decorated with colorful tile and large windows and a beautiful, peaceful courtyard which allowed for some family members to get some space throughout the day. The house was a quiet and delightful resting place for any activity in between seeing and doing fun things on the Malacon (5 blocks away), touring the beaches, and visiting sea life. Thirdly, whenever we had questions or needed something ( an extra pillow perhaps), Maria, a primary lead during our time, was quick to respond and was always helpful. She connected us with Victoria who cooked a delicious breakfast each day. Hands down, best experience ever. Thanks to Phil and his team.

Wish we could’ve stayed longer but had a great time in this beautiful place. Some traffic sounds at night but nothing we couldn’t sleep through. Maria and Phil both very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful, peaceful villa. At the heart of town, so we could walk everywhere. Although, at the heart of everything, back at the house the courtyard is extremely tranquil. Daniel helped us with our stay, taxis, etc. We would highly recommend this property.

House was perfectly located next to the Malacon and such great restaurants. Even though it’s in the middle of town it is so quiet and peaceful in the courtyard. Would love to come stay again and would highly recommend Phil’s home.

We were very happy at the Dulcinea house, the house is very spacious, clean and with its own bathroom, the very well equipped and illuminated kitchen, the very comfortable and spacious social areas, the social areas very comfortable and spacious. Daily they brought us a delicious continental breakfast, natural juice, bread and coffee. The location is excellent! Highly recommendable, we loved it!
