thank you for your feedback and helping us in improving the experience at Casa Libellula.

It was unfortunate that one of the A/C broke during your stay, we tried our best to fix it as fast as possible however in this specific days the right tech was unavailable, nobody else could fix it. We understand that this was a fault on our behalf, and therefore a reimbursement was given to you.

Keep in mind that we are in the middle of the jungle in Tulum, with high amounts of humidity and inestable electricity so things break from time to time, but we are on top of everything. All the air conditioners have been checked, and are all running perfectly again.

The house is brand new, we finished complete renovation in august 2021, and I can guarantee that there is no mold. All the walls are finished with a technique called "chukum", basically a special concrete that breathes, to avoid any mold. The humidity creates beautiful patterns in the concrete, while the concrete is drying, which makes it look like an art piece.

We checked the tub, and hot water is working perfectly. You just have to have some patience, to wait until it heats up 90 seconds to be completely accurate.

The townhouse is part of a condominium called "White Tulum", which is one of the most generous in space, and the garden and pool are absolutely gorgeous.

The condominium has high security standards, which is an absolute plus, compared to staying in a free standing villa. The property is huge, and usually not many people are using the pool. But of course sometimes other families are renting houses, and there is kids playing.

I'm really proud of all the detailing in design that went into this house. We designed the lighting especially, to create a magical romantic atmosphere at night in the house. We want to avoid any bright white lighting, as it would disrupt the atmosphere we want to create.
I understand that this is not a priority for everyone.

As you are mentioning location: The house is situated in a quiet side street, close to the road Kukulkan, which directly leads to the beach in 15 minutes. When I'm in tulum, and staying at my house, I have never been bothered by noise, it is an absolute quiet piece of heaven, really hard to find close to “La Veleta”

It saddens me to hear that you weren't able to enjoy the house fully, and grateful again for your feedback.
