We had an amazing stay at Las Palmas! The location was perfect and made it is easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The home was exactly as described in the listing-Clean, comfortable, and stocked with all of the water our family of 6 needed while on the island. The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, answering any questions quickly and even coming to exchange televisions and make sure the internet was connected as soon as we inquired about it. Beautiful villa! We loved staying here with our children. Safe and secure doors, clean linens and comfortable beds, and a nice pool just the right size for a smaller family.

Our family had a fantastic stay at Las Palmas. The pool was big enough for all of us to get in (it entertained the kids for hours!), and much time was spent on the rooftop taking in the view. We loved the location; quiet, yet walking distance to restaurants and beach clubs. It was very easy to catch a taxi, and the rest of the island is just a short ride away. Would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay on Isla Mujeres. The pool was perfect and the house was a great fit for my wife and I, my parents and my teenager to stay for a week. It was nice being away from the crowded north end of the island, and close to the beautiful views of the south end. We rented golf carts from Indios, which gave us free daily access to the Indios beach club a few blocks from the property. We also appreciated the nearby restaurants - Rancho Caprichio (right across the street), Ulan Eatery, Loretta’s, and others. It only takes about 15 minutes by golf cart to get to the North end restaurants and tourist shops, so we were able to do that too. The best of all worlds! We would definitely stay again!

The place is very nice in a quiet part of the island near the south. Yet, there are very good restaurants and nice beach clubs within walking distance. It is also easy to walk to Punta Sur to see the cliffs. Going to the busier part of the island is also easy as cabs drive by all the time and they are very affordable, so we liked staying in a quieter place. The apartment is great, spacious with a great space outside and a nice pool to chill. The terrace is amazing for looking at sunset with great views.

5/5 stars – Exceptional stay, wonderful hosts, and handled island hiccups like pros! We absolutely loved our time at Villa Las Palmas! The villa is stunning—beautifully designed, super clean, with a gorgeous private pool, lush tropical vibes, and those incredible views over the bay that make every morning feel magical. The location near Punta Sur gave us peaceful seclusion while still being easy to get around the island by golf cart. Communication with Laura was outstanding from start to finish. She was quick to respond and super helpful . When the island experienced a water outage, Laura went above and beyond. She arranged for a truck delivery to refill the tanks so we never really went too long without water—such thoughtful and proactive hosting during what could have been a frustrating situation. The property was exactly as described (and pictured), well-equipped kitchen, and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful home in lovely surroundings. Very comfortable rooms with great amenities. Host was very helpful in finding location as no street names or numbers. Isla a busy place but this neighbourhood was restful and no unwelcome noise.

This home is an excellent base for Isla beaches and adventures. We had a family group and found it very easy to walk to Isla Sur beach clubs, restaurants and bars from our place. In fact, we could have done without a golf cart and used taxis and buses instead, but it was handy to have it for shopping trips and exploring the island. Laura was a very responsive host. She helped us store our luggage when we arrived early and was very responsive before and during our stay. I'm grateful for her support. The home itself is beautiful and clean, with everything you need for a great stay. We appreciated the beach towels and various outdoor spaces to spread out. We cooked a few dinners and it was awesome to have items like pantry basics, a coffee machine and lots of utensils. Make sure you have mosquito coils or spray if you spend time outside after dark or early morning - there are mozzies all over the island, but it's not a problem if you're prepared. Overall, thank you for a great stay!

Great stay - would recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind/prefers to be away from the busier streets. Couple of great coffee / restaurants nearby for to the times you don’t want to travel into the town centre.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at La Hacienda Garrafon. The home is excellent as advertised and we had everything we needed. Unfortunately we arrived during a rainstorm on a golf cart, but Laura was there to meet us with towels to dry ourselves off. We could not have been happier and can’t wait to return. The home is close to many beach clubs and great restaurants on Punta Sur. Trips to the north were quick (20 mins via golf cart) and the neighborhood was generally quiet. We definitely enjoyed sunsets on the rooftop and relaxing in the pool.

Very safe and convenient location right by an excellent taco shop. House was amazing and house manager was very responsive and helpful.

Amazingly clean house and a private swimming pool. Very peaceful surroundings and close to several food places. Laura our host responded very quickly to any of our enquiries. Couldn’t really ask for more!

The house was beautiful and looked just like it did in the pictures. Laura the host was very responsive and helpful. I send several e-mails asking for recommendations for restaurants, golf cart rentals, and beaches nearby. She helped make our stay a wonderful experience. The Wifi went out the first night we were there and she immediately sent in someone to fix it after I notified her of the problem. There is a restaurant and a very small grocery store right across the street. Loved it!

We could not have been happier with our stay. The house was extremely clean, private and beautiful inside. The location was perfect to grab drinks close by, and grab a cab to anywhere. Short walk to Punta sur. Definitely recommend!

Lura was a wonderful and responsive host. The house is luxurious and roomy and the outdoor area is perfect for relaxing in the warm climate - with several options, including a pool the roof terrace. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, as is Garaffon Park and the smaller (less well appointed and cheaper) Garaffon Castle resort. The best beaches are some distance away ( $10 cab ride or an 8km walk) I would highly recommend this home for a family with older kids or 3 adult couples (as we were). All in all a fantastic place to visit! Thank you Laura - this was a wonderful week.

Great stay!

Very pretty and very clean

We love Isla Mujeres first off. But this house OMG we loved it. Just beautiful, granite all throughout the home. We had hot water and good water pressure, which can be a problem in some places on the island. The bathrooms are beautiful! The backyard with the pool is gorgeous. We actually had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and what a gentleman he is. Laura, our host, was so responsive and full of recommendations. She did not lead us astray. We will definitely come back and book with them again. Home was spotless and kitchen well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The only downside is we had to leave!

Really enjoyed this location. We love staying on South end. House was perfect for 3 couples. Great resturant right across the street and many options right down the road. Never used the pool but it was just like the picture. Would have like more furniture on roof so we could all sit out together and enjoy. Absolutely no other complaints

Our family enjoyed our stay in Las Palmas. The house is beautiful and just as described. The pool and backyard setting was so peaceful. Everything was very clean and host provided many jugs of water to sustain us throughout the week. Laura was a very responsive and friendly host. Highly recommend this home!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and the layout was great for our family (2 adults, 3 young kids). Laura was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. We rented a golf cart, which we felt was both fun and necessary if you want to easily access North Beach and the North end of the islands many restaurants, as well as the supermarket. We did take a few taxis, and they were easy to get and pretty inexpensive. The property was walking distance to a few casual restaurants and a bodega/convenience type store to get a few first day necessities. Two areas that we thought could be improved for a luxury stay -(1) a hedge or something between the pool area and the open section of the gate to make the pool area feel more private from the road (and the construction that was happening across the street), and (2) more cooking utensils in the kitchen (kitchen supplies were very basic, and it was hard to make anything more than simple meals).

We had a wonderful time at this house in Isla Mujeres! the location was perfect with lots of restaurants nearby, we rented a golf cart and everything was within a 20 min ride away! the house was immaculate and so clean when we arrived! the host was so responsive and attentive the entire trip, she made check in easy, and was so easy to connect eith once we were there it we had any questions!! she even helped us before our stay by letting us know what the grocery stores had available since we were travelling with our babies! rhe pool was beautiful and water was warm, she even showed us a gorgeous restaurant with a view rhats easily accessible through the back gate!! she was an incredible host and I'd come back here in a heartbeat!! don't think twice about booking this place, you will not be disappointed!!

I want to start this review by saying that the house was exactly as pictured, absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately, during our stay we had an issue where the island lost running water due to a broken pipe and we were without running water nearly the entire time. We had a baby with us and were not able to stay the entire week, we had to go and stay at a hotel. The host was responsive and understood our situation and issued a refund for the time remaining on our trip, which we GREATLY appreciate. Like I stated previously, the house and pool were absolutely wonderful and it would have been the most perfect vacation if that pipe hadn't burst. Oh well, ithanks for making a bad situation workable!

Awesome place to stay!!! The pictures don’t do it justice!

We loved staying at this location for our getaway. The spot was in a great location, close to some gorgeous beaches and beach clubs and directly across the best taco spot on the island.

The home was incredible - even better than the photos - and Laura went above and beyond to make sure we found the place and had everything we needed! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Our stay was amazing. The house is on the southern end of the island, which is nice and quiet but with plenty to do nearby. The “taco stand” across the street that many reviews refer to is Rancho Capricho. They do indeed have amazing tacos, but they’re not cheap. Sadly only open 12-5 pm Monday to Saturday. Also has drinks. The little beach club nearby (Garrafón) is super chill and gorgeous. We snorkeled there multiple times in the perfectly clear and warm water. Just amazing. We hope to be back!

10/10 recommend!! This was my second time staying on the island and this house was exactly what I was hoping for. All of bedrooms were spacious, clean, cool, and the beds were comfortable. Each room had a bathroom with a shower so all of my guests were able to have their own space in the house. The rooftop was the best place for both a morning coffee and the evening sunset. The landscape around the house was full of tropical plants and flowers which was nice to be surrounded by while relaxing in the pool. The location is safe and in an area that is quiet. The busier side of the island (North beach) and the grocery store are just a short golf cart ride away. I would highly recommend renting a golf cart, it is one of the best parts of the island experience. Margaritas, tacos, sleep, and repeat! You will not have any regrets staying at this house, it really does have it all.

The house was beautiful, very clean, spacious and a great back patio with pool! Laura, the host was very responsive and cordial. The house was located near Punta Sur which just a short walk south. The North Beach area is so crowded these days so it was nice to be in a quiet area. A handful of very good restaurants were within walking distance~ Rancho Capricho, El Burracho Burrito Cantina, Kin Ha and The Joint. We would definitely stay in this house again.

This house was perfect for our trip. It gave us all space and is in the perfect location. It was my parents, my brother, my 7 year old niece and myself. Very safe. I had only stayed on the north side of the island before and was pleasantly surprised how great the south side is. This house is located perfectly across the street from the best tacos on the island and walking distance from The Joint. Lots of great restaurants/bars nearby, it was great for us because we could easily get to the beach and do all the thing during the day going to the north side and then come home to a relaxed quiet space. The host was extremely responsive and very helpful checking in. If you get a taxi from the ferry to get to the house just tell them to take you to The Joint on the south side and it will get you in the right proximity if you’ve never been to the island. Thanks for a great stay and experience!

This is a Great house! Super comfortable, clean, updated and in great shape. Laura was easy to communicate with and prompt to respond. The pool and outdoor area was fantastic (or would have been if we hadn’t been in torrential rain the whole time!) My only suggestion is that the kitchen could be better stocked with a bit more of the essentials - pots /pans/salt and pepper. We would come stay again! Thanks Laura!

Amazing stay in Magical Punta Sur!

Loved staying at this spot! It was quiet, clean, private, safe, spacious and beautifully designed. It's on the far south side of Isla so it's good to have a car (which we did) and there's parking included. Would definitely recommend!

This place was our perfect home base for our Isla Mujeres adventure! Our host Laura was a great communicator and gave us recommendations that proves she knows the island well. It's located just down the street from a beach club and a reef park that's ideal for snorkeling, and it's only a 25 minute golf cart ride from everything you could want in downtown. The neighborhood is tranquil in the evenings, and the rooftop is perfect for drinks or yoga under the stars. I didn't think we'd use the pool much, but it was such a great way to unwind in the evenings! The interior is pristine and well decorated, and the beds are comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great place!!!! Everything was outstanding! From communication, location, Beautiful pool (pool guys come daily to clean) and convenient to The Joint (is a must go to place!) directly across the street is a taco bar (best street tacos I’ve ever had) bar, and grocery store that has the basics! It was super convenient to walk across the street for more beer! It’s close to Sumara too (GREAT Japanese restaurant…staff is excellent) The management team is first class for this home!

Las Palmas was a great home for an island getaway. Laura met us at the home for check-in and showed us around. She was very helpful and always responded quickly to questions. The home is immaculately clean, has a great pool, and is walking distance to some nice bars/restaurants and a beach club. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying at this property!

Soooooo clean. I stayed with my family of 7 and Laura accommodated the bed for us to make the two twins a king. Amazing Views. A little far from north side But taxis are cheap!

Great place a little secluded from the main part of town so if you want some privacy and some relaxtion from the city life this place is great. The host was amazing and communicated with us everytime we needed help and to check up on us as well if we needed anything. the homes amazing and the pool was great and espcially the sights from the third story balcony.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! It was our first shot at an international Airbnb. The host is amazing and the communication was superb even before we arrived. She addressed any issues we had promptly and was always available via text. Tip: Get with the host to arrange private transportation to the island before and after your trip. The home was clean. Not just surface clean, but clean. I own a cleaning business in the states. Trust me when I say clean, it’s clean. I didn’t spend hours cleaning to make sure I was comfortable. It was ready when we arrived. It felt good just to be able to unpack, shower and start my vacation without cleaning first. The host provides a few jugs of water and ice during your stay. It is advised not to drink the water because of the amount of calcium in it. But the water is safe for bathing or brushing your teeth etc etc. Just not for consuming large amounts. The location is perfect. It is on the south end of the island. The traffic is minimal. The views are breathtaking both from the beach and the rooftop of the home. There is a bar, taco joint, and convenience store directly across the street. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance. You have got to try Samura Japanese Cuisine and Jungle Bar. It is beyond amazing and the food is second to none. Oh and don’t forget about the bar(2-3 min walk) called The Joint. You want island vibes hang here! There’s sooo much to see and do! Make sure to rent a golf cart and drive the island! There’s several beach clubs within walking distance, try a few. There’s some kind of adventure park close by. There’s an Icebar, you can swim with sharks, etc etc. The private pool has a waterfall. It is hidden by trees and beautiful foliage. The outside pool area is well lit at night. It was so peaceful to come back from being on the town and sit outside. The sound of the waterfall was relaxing. The water was always warm. Hmmmmmm I think I covered the basics and then some. I would book this place over and over again. Oh. One more thing, we never lost power or water access. We appreciate host who take pride in their homes. Kudos to you. Until next time!

We had a fantastic stay at this home. It was a perfect base of operations for all of our activities, and a relaxing place to recover every evening. This listing is accurate and the location is great. Our favorite things: The pool was amazing. We loved soaking in it after a long day of diving or other adventures. The house is clean, comfortable and modern. All of the appliances work. The AC works and keeps the house perfectly comfortable. Things that could have been better: This one is a split decision. The mattresses in all of the bedrooms are pretty hard. Some of our group loved a stiff mattress and some did not. The view from the top deck is spectacular. However, there is no shade or patio furniture up there to maximize your enjoyment of the view. All in all, great place, and great host. 100% would stay there again.

A fabulous home! Very clean and beautifully decorated. We absolutely loved the pool and the outdoor space. Laura was wonderful and very quick to respond to our requests. Great linens, plenty of towels, comfortable beds. The beds are only doubles so keep that in mind if it matters to you - it did not bother us. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen appeared well stocked. I loved staying at the south end of the island; much more peaceful. We did rent a golf cart for the week. El Borracho Burro Cantina was within walking distance and we really enjoyed the food, service, and live music. There is also a convenience store that you can walk to. I would highly recommend this home.

We loved this house. It was perfect for our group of five. The pool was a lovely amenity. We spent lots of time swimming and relaxing on the loungers. Beds were firm and extremely comfortable. Laura was a very responsive and informative host. Everything was perfect. We would absolutely stay again.

Great location, views are amazing! Great taco place across the street w the nicest employees! The grocery store is also a plus. Highly recommend this airbnb! Since it’s not in the busy part of the island, I recommend getting a taxis number as it’s hard to get a taxi later in the evening.

Another 5 star review. We loved everything about this house, the pool, the location and surroundings! It was just like the pictures... simply stunning. It was nice to be in the more quiet area and there were a few restaurants we went to multiple times, we especially loved The Joint! We took the bus to Playa Norte one day which was fun and the beach was beautiful, but really busy. The little beach club in our "back yard" was good too, a nice change of scenery as we enjoyed lots of pool time! Host was very attentive and easily reachable when we needed anything, which was not often! We did not have a golf cart and got along easily in taxis, went to big grocery store once and loaded up, everything else we go across the street in the little store. Got covid tested right down the street! Was one of our favorite vacations!!

Beautiful house on the south end. The host was very helpful and responsive. The house is across the street from a small convenience store and an outstanding taco stand. We loved the pool area and the views from the top floor. Drinking water provided as needed, which was so nice. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

A beautiful home! We absolutely loved it. Luxurious, spacious and clean. The hot water was hot and plentiful. Bottled drinking water was provided. It's close to several beach clubs for easy access to the ocean. The house is located at the south end of the island, close to Punta Sur, and in a nice quiet area. The views from the roof top deck are amazing. We want to go back!

We loved our stay! The house is very clean & comfortable. The pool & grounds are immaculate. The kitchen & bathrooms have everything you need. Great water pressure in the showers, as well as plenty of hot water. The house is located South, so you will definitely need a golf cart. Convenient shop across the street. Great house!

A really lovely villa in a great area - having stayed in the Playa Norte/Centro area, as well as the La Gloria area, I think staying in Punta Sur is my favourite of all for the peace and quiet. My kids each had their own bedroom, the pool was nice if a bit chilly in December, and best of all for our stay the internet was fast and reliable. My wife and I were on work video calls at the same time with no issues. Having the taco stand and convenience store across the street is a bonus, and there is a parking spot if you have a golf cart, which is a nice added luxury for sure. We spent our days off hanging out on Playa Norte, and stopping at the Chedraui supermarket on the way home was super convenient. We would stay here again!

Our family loved our time on Isla, and the location at Carretera al Garrafon was wonderfully quiet. We love the southern part of the island, with good access to secluded beaches, the park at Punta Sur, and The Joint restaurant. It’s an easy ride into town if you want it, or you can avoid the busy Playa Norte all together. We love the little in Garrafon Reef Park across the alley, that offered some of the best snorkeling on the island. We loved walking to Punta Sur for the sunrise. As one of the previous guests commented, the location can be a little challenging to describe to people who haven’t been there. If you’re gonna order food delivered from one of the great restaurants on the island, I would suggest telling them to meet you at the little market across the street. It’s just easier. Also, that little market across the street was a godsend. You don’t have to take time to go to the big grocery store, Chedraui. Instead you can pick up staples at that little store: milk, water, eggs, butter, beer.

We had a fantastic stay, and wished we didn’t have to leave. The house is perfectly clean, comfortable and has everything and more you need. The showers are really good! (If you’ve traveled much in Mexico you’ll know why that’s a major pro). The pool is so relaxing and the house is air conditioned. There is a small shop for basic supplies over the road, a cute adjoining bar and some market stalls. A short walk in both directions are restaurants/ bars with live music - we enjoyed a drink and live music at The Joint. Be sure to have clear directions or the address and don’t just use the house name as there is another house of the same name on the island. The house is peaceful and quiet and we would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved this beautiful home. It was in a cute and quiet location with food, a convienance store and bars within walking distance. A cab ride from the ferry was only $8. I recommend reserving a golf cart to get back and forth to the main tourist areas and best beaches. We had a beautiful ocean view from the rooftop and bedrooms. The home was very clean with plenty of space and dishes that worked perfect for meal time. We look forward to booking one of her other locations next summer.

Wow what a place, this is a $1m + home, real luxury, everything catered for and with spectacular views. Laura was a great host who took care of everything. We really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to get back.
