Beautiful home in an equally beautiful neighborhood. The host was so responsive and gave us plenty of information prior to arrival. While in the home she responded quickly to any questions we had. The check in process was personal and instantly made us feel at home and comfortable. The whole property was maintained beautifully and was such a pleasure to stay in. Will definitely be staying here again

Staying at Magdalena's house was so comfortable and peaceful that we would gladly come back here. She is always attentive to any unforeseen event and quick to resolve it. The house is quite spacious, with beautiful wood finishes, very cozy, comfortable, equipped with everything you need, including cooking seasonings, disposable bags, etc. The pool is quite large and they always keep it clean so you can enjoy it. It has a playground where we had a great time. Just one observation: the house has many steps. Consider this if you bring an older adult, but overall, it is quite functional and the steps are not tiring at all. It has a spectacular view of Durango by day and by night, hammocks for relaxing by the pool, plenty of board games, and books to read in English and Spanish. The house is very complete in every way. Cristy, the co-host, made us feel at home and was always attentive to everything. Magdalena recommended places for us to go and explore. Excellent place!!

We had an incredible few days, the house is beautiful and very comfortable to travel with the family We felt right at home! Everything was excellent

This home was beautiful, private and spacious. It’s exactly as it’s described in the listing. It’s walking distance to a few great restaurants and coffee shops and just a short taxi ride to downtown. Magdalena was very responsive and provided helpful guidance. It’s a beautiful, private space for a family vacation. I highly recommend this property.

This was our second time at Magdalena’s. We felt very comfortable & right at home. Magdalena was always quick to respond and very helpful, even had cookies, fruit, & pan waiting for us upon arrival!

An absolutely incredible space, great for family and kids, the amount of amenities provided shows how much Magdelena cares about her guests, we had everything we needed, the kids loved the game room, house was fully furnished with all modern amenities, the view from the master bedroom was sensational, and in a very safe, quiet neighborhood, will absolutely stay here again!

Hello everyone...! I can't describe with words my satisfaction in regards to Magdalena's place. Putting aside the easy and prompt communication and the friendly, proactive and respectful approach by her and the co-host Cristina, the place is amazing. The furniture, the decor, the amenities, the layout, everything exceeded my expectations. They even had a well decorated xmas three for us! We felt like home and we are so thankful with her for making our stay in Durango something memorable. With no hesitation, I highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Magdalena and Cristina. It's a house that feels like you're coming to your family's home. We have already stayed 3 times in different years and it has maintained quality and warmth. We love staying here. I hope it will repeat the following years.

Beautiful home! From check in to check out everything was amazing. Clean, clutter free space with everything you may need. We stayed during Christmas and Magdalena & Cristina even put up a Christmas tree for my children & I! Amazing & safe location, close to great restaurants & cafes. Will def be back!

Our stay was wonderful. Magdalena was quick to communicate, she had a crib ready for us, and allowed us to check in early. Christina, the house manager, was suuuper nice. She met us for our early check in and helped us with anything we needed. Would definitely stay here next time I’m in Durango.

Beautiful home with all the needed amenities, in an upscale and safe area. The backyard has a nice pool and is facing a beautiful park, feels like a five star resort without the noise and the crowds. The house helper (Christina) is trustful, very serviable and helpful, she always goes out of her way to make your stay unforgettable. Magdalena is the best host, she was always there for us. Our flight got cancelled and rescheduled to the next day, Magdalena quickly helped extend our stay and provided great help. She routinely checked on us and promptly answered any question we might have. Highly recommend this listing. Cheers

This has been my second time staying at this beautiful house . Once again I stay here because it’s nice and clean great services , easy access to restaurants.. this place is 10000000000000000% amazing

We arrived punctually at 2pm and were very well received and were given a brief tour of the house, additional contact information and security system information. Amazing home! Huge! Clean! Amazing views! Amazingly quiet! We had an amazing time relaxing in your beautiful home for a week! I work 7 days a week normally. My son studies 6 days a week from 7am to 4pm! We both thoroughly enjoyed doing absolutely nothing for a week except relaxing and your home had absolutely everything I needed to make that possible! That said, the house is very well located for the few times that we did go out. My son studied a couple hours a day. I forgot little things like a pencil eraser, colored pencils, tape! You had it all! I needed a cheese grinder, you had it! I woke my first morning dying for a coffee, there was coffee in the house! I wanted to grill, I never did, but you had a grill! Washer and dryer a huge plus! You even had washing detergents etcetera…You had so many kids toys that my 7 yr old son was in absolute toy heaven! I didn’t have to do anything and that’s exactly what I was looking for! We hope to come back this summer when the weather is more favorable and the pool is open! Thank you! It was a great opportunity to be able to stay at this beautiful house . From the beginning of our stay till the last one . This house is very open lots of space, beautiful view, the location is very quite and comfortable, this house provides everything to make it feel like home . It has a great walking distance to many restaurants, cafés,bars , grocery stores and many more shopping centers . Great communication between the host and guests was very quick to respond. The cleanness and organization is great .

We absolutely loved our stay at Magdalena's. The layout of the house is well thought out and impeccably decorated. Next time I'm in Durango, I will be looking up Magdalena's house for my stay.

We enjoyed this home so much during our first stay in October that we made a specific point to return for another three weeks at the conclusion of our six months in Mexico. The home is a true oasis of calm and serenity, and an absolute joy to experience at all times of day and night. It is impeccably maintained and filled with character, with the utmost care and attention by both the owner and the house manager. The home is also conveniently located just up the hill from numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. We were truly sad to leave this remarkable home and city, and we hope to return for yet another visit soon!

We have gone two years in a row to spend a quiet family vacation in Durango , apart from being very well decorated. There are many details that make you feel at home. It is very well adapted for all ages from children to adults have a good time, do not get bored and it is very central.

Fantastically beautiful home in the best neighborhood of Durango. The owner has taken great pains to retain the charm of this beautiful property. It feels just like you are in the Hollywood Hills. We have traveled through many parts of Mexico, and Durango is an absolute gem. We certainly hope to return to Durango to enjoy this beautiful home and city once again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magdalena's place. We booked our stay last minute because we had to visit family on short notice. Yet despite the scramble on our end, Magdalena ensured that the house would be ready upon our arrival. The house was clean, beautiful, stylish, and spacious. We were treated to pastries provided by the host, which was a nice touch. I recommend this house to anyone in the area and can't wait to stay here again!

Great place to stay! Family and I loved it!

My family had a wonderful time at Magdalena’s Modern Sanctuary. It is a beautifully present home with architectural elements. The kitchen, living area was great for our family and well stocked for cooking. The master suite has a huge bathroom with soak in tub. A great bonus was the downstairs play/living room. Great convenient location in an upscale neighborhood but less than 10 minutes from the Centro Historic. Many restaurants within 5 mins drive. Look forward to going back! We have a lovely stay!

A place that exceeds expectations, fully planned, spaces that make you feel very comfortable, as if you were in your own home, the view is spectacular, every detail is taken care of, cleanliness, excellent in every way!

This is a wonderful house were you can spend some pleasant and comfortable vacation. The house is spacious end very stylish with amazing views of the city. It has everything for everyone in the family . Christina the housekeeper is amazing. The location is great in a quiet neighborhood and so close to main attractions. A beautiful, spacious house, ideal for families who want to travel and maintain the warmth of home. With a pool, playground area, and spacious kitchen. They welcomed us with welcoming touches and always with the attention of good hosts. Excellent location and recommended.
