Santiago was very responsive and accommodating. He met us upon arrival, helped us book a boat for the day for a great price, and the staff he provided were amazing. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the villa and both were absolutely delicious. They cleaned the rooms every day after breakfast, and the place was gorgeous. We also ate dinner right next door at a restaurant owned by Santiago's mother and it had amazing food and service too. Highly recommend renting from Santiago. It was a lovely experience.

Santiago's place was great. It was very spacious for a group of 8, and felt clean. We really appreciated the staff that helped tidy up the place and cook the delicious meals for us. Santiago is very accommodating, helping us get things when we asked, and also letting us check in early and check out late. The location is convenient, about 10-15 minutes taxi into all the great restaurants and attractions, and walking down 20 seocndsto the beach is a great bonus as well!

Santiago was an excellent host. Responsive and flexible. The villa is spacious, peaceful and beautifully decorated. The sunset views are amazing. The location is on a quiet beach with a larger beach minutes away. The chef and housekeepers were there everyday (Rita and Romona). The food was excellent when they cooked breakfast and lunch. The place was impeccably clean and organized. They did our laundry for us as well. The villa was a good value for our group of six in four bedrooms. I highly recommend it. The location is about a 5-10 minute car drive or 30 minute walk from Playa Los muertos (the main beach). We took Uber daily for $5-6 Canadian, each way, plus tip. We had 7 adults and a soon to be one-year-old. Each room had its own bathroom, which was nice for each couple, and they accommodated a crib and high chair for the infant. The cove beach with palapas is right across the street and easy to access, which we took full advantage of. We appreciated Rita and Ramona (the staff), friendly and made amazing meals. Getting into the Zona Romantica a 24 minute walk or a very convenient 4 minute Uber ride. La Playita restaurant on the beach is adjacent and an OXXO and pharmacy right up the road. Santiago was near and available if needed. We had a wonderful family vacation at Casa Del Mar

Such a fantastic house and host. loved being just a bit out of town. close enough u can pop in but still in a private and serene setting. Loved the restaurant next door for sunset drinks. Ramona and Rita cooked excellent meals. recommend 10/10!

Perfect, perfect, perfect! What an amazing home this is! Four beautiful King bedrooms, a big open space living area, a gorgeous pool and patio and a staff that caters to your every need. All that with the Pacific Ocean right in our backyard! Santiago is a wonderful host, helping address our every need, and Ramona is an amazing and talented chef. Clean towels and sheets daily make you feel like you’re in a hotel. We cannot highly recommend this place enough! Hope to come back soon!

Really enjoyed our long weekend at Casa Del Mar. Santiago was attentive and the Airbnb was clean and well taken care of. I’d keep in mind that the location is down a narrow beach road so you may need to walk to get a taxi but you’re also close to a great beach and little restaurant.

Our stay at Casa del Mar was exceptional! Santiago was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house was the perfect size for a party of six spacious, welcoming, and well laid out. The cooks were fantastic. Thanks to great communication with Santiago before our arrival, the fridge was always fully stocked with snacks, drinks, and plenty of water. The housekeeping staff tidied up each morning and cleaned our rooms and bathrooms daily. Direct beach access was convenient, though swimming is only possible for a few hours in the afternoon, as high tide eliminates the beach and the water can be rough over rocks. That said, there’s a swimmable beach just a short walk that was very popular and easy to access. The pool was another highlight, and we loved having a restaurant next door with great food and an extensive drink menu. Santiago also coordinated our transportation for the airport, which made travel stress-free. We would absolutely recommend Casa del Mar and would happily stay again!

TIP: bring a lot of MX$ with you - need to pay chef/housecleaner in local cash daily. Loved our stay at Santiago's beautiful villa. Located just south of the zona romantica, you are basically on the sand, with private beach access. There is a larger sandy beach just a short walk north as well. The food prepared daily is absolutely delicious and such a treat! Our family loved hearing the ocean every morning, all the views from every bedroom, and all the local iguanas, geckos, and dogs! Beds are comfortable and AC units in each bedroom worked great. We stayed over Christmas with extended family ranging from 10 months old to 77 years old. Santiago was able to rent all the baby equipment we needed, as well as to arrange extra activities for us. Be aware that the house is older, indoor-outdoor style, and pool is chilly. So if you're looking for a modern high-rise condo, this is not for you. But if you appreciate old-world charm and hospitality, it's an A+.

Our group of 8 had an amazing time at Santiago’s. The location was close enough to PV but we loved our beautiful beach with private access away from the crowds. Santiago was very quick to reply to messages, from arranging a snorkeling boat for us to letting us in when we forgot the keys. The house is very comfortable, very clean and having the ladies make us breakfast everyday was a treat. We are definitely coming back.

We had a great stay at Santiago's place! Santiago and his staff were extremely friendly and accommodating with our different travel schedules for both early check-in and late check-out. The cooks are incredible, everything we ate was fantastic (especially the chilaquiles) and they even have a menu for you to choose options for breakfast and lunch. Extremely easy beach access and far enough outside the city that it isn't overcrowded. We definitely would stay again!

Great host awesome home close to the malecon the beach is a flight of stairs away from paradise. Will definitely stay here again perfect for children as well.

The area was absolutely beautiful. The beach was perfect. The home was beautiful. It was quiet and relaxing and close to town. The cook and cleaner being available daily was very convenient. Santiago helped us look into a few activities and was very helpful. The arrival meal was very appreciated. A few things to consider: The beds are very firm There were no beach chairs to lay out on, we requested them before arrival but did not get them. Pipes are a bit loud and will wake up sleeping people if you flush in the middle of the night. Home is open concept. So expect a few lizard visitors at night in the common areas. It didn’t bother us since they were very high up on the walls. I really wish the living room had more sofa seating to just hang out together at the end of the day but we made do. All things considered we would definitely book this home again. Loved our vacation in Santiago’s home.

An excellent place to enjoy privately with friends or family!!!

Santiago’s place is BEAUTIFUL!!! It’s even better than the pictures if you can imagine it. I had my bachelorette here and everyone was blown away by the place. He met us upon arrival and was easy to communicate with. The beach is right there and the views are stunning. The staff were incredible and made everything so easy. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed this wonderful home with our four adult children and two of their partners. It is jaw dropping beautiful. Santiago, the host was responsive and available. We created memories there that we will remember for a life time. We hope to come again.

We loved our stay here. The house was spacious, fitting our group of eight comfortably, with each room having a king bed and private bath. The open-air layout was comfortable, and the house was very clean. The outdoor space had a beautiful, garden-like feel with ocean views and we loved the deep pool with steps for the shallow side. Note the bathroom fixtures were dated and a bit squeaky and hot water does run out if 8 girls shower one after another. The location was on a private street with beach access, five minutes Uber ride from Zona Romántica; there were two cute and well-behaved family dogs that roamed the neighborhood. Santiago was a responsive, accommodating host. He arranged a private shuttle from the airport. When we asked about speakers and low wifi signal, Santiago promptly brought and installed new speakers and a mesh wifi. Ramona, the chef cooked us delicious meals and checked in with us on when we wanted to eat. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and we would return.

Our stay at Casa del Mar was amazing, thanks to Santiago and his wonderful team—Ophelia and Romona. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely taken care of. Santiago greeted us right outside the beautiful, open-air villa, and Ophelia and Romona welcomed us with snacks and margaritas. The villa itself was stunning—an upscale yet authentic "old-town" Puerto Vallarta home right on the ocean. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beach was easy to access, and we loved spending time on the terrace, taking in the sunsets. The breakfasts and lunches were delicious and perfectly suited to our family's dietary needs. Santiago also helped arrange a fantastic excursion with snorkeling, surfing, and local food—taking us to some hidden gems with trusted guides. This was the perfect family getaway for our group of six, and we can’t wait to visit again! ¡Muchas gracias, Santiago!

We had an amazing time staying at the villa. Santiago was beyond helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and provided wonderful recommendations. We came here for a bachelorette party and Santiago was able to help us organize a yoga instructor to come to the house and coordinate rides to/from the airport and to get into town. Ramona and Ophelia prepared the most amazing meals for us and were able to provide everything that we needed to make our trip the best. The home itself is stunning and we couldn’t believe it was even better than the photos. We enjoyed walks on the beach (right in front of the house) and how easy it was to get into town. This was one of the most memorable trips we have had and we highly recommend staying at the villa - it was perfect for our group of 8 girls. We hope to be back one day!

Santiago’s Casa Del Mar was stunningly beautiful and exactly what we needed for a peaceful vacation. Santiago was super helpful and communicative. Rita the chef was fantastic and we loved every single meal. The space was clean and beautiful. Would 1000% stay here again!

Santiago was very communicative and responsive. He greeted us upon arrival, arranged an excellent boat tour for us and was flexible with special requests. Rita and Ramona, who cooked, were lovely and made amazing meals. Each bedroom has a private bath. The beaches nearby were quiet. We also enjoyed the restaurant at the end of the road for two dinners out and they were so nice, plus food was amazing there! (We recommend the catch of the day!) Beautiful outdoor spaces at the house were perfect for lounging and enjoying views of the ocean any time of day.

Comfortable place overlooking the ocean. Worked well for our group of four couples. Meals were wonderful and liked the flexibility of choosing what we want. The cost for groceries is additional but the services are included.

Only thing better than the place was the host. Him and his staff took great care of us and were very helpful and responsive. Great safe and private spot for a group looking to relax.

Our experience was simply unforgettable. We were greeted with exceptional hospitality from Santiago. The location of the house, right in front of the sea, is absolutely perfect. The house is impeccable. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned and each with its own private bathroom, making it ideal for groups or families. The pool is perfect for relaxing. Also, we can't help but mention Rita, the cook in the house, who was simply amazing. Every meal he prepared for us was a piece of culinary art. She is lovely and made sure every meal was special and perfectly suited to our tastes. The service and service of the house team was top notch. Always willing to help us with anything we might need. I highly recommend this property if what you're looking for is an unforgettable experience steps from the beach.

Excellent house by the sea, we went with our children and it was spectacular the house has a very nice pool and down some stairs is the sea, which is very quiet for children. Super recommended, Santiago is an excellent host and helped us organize walks to other nearby beaches. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful place for a family trip with two babies, we had a wonderful time and having meals cooked for us was incredibly appreciated and delicious.

We were two families with children and it was perfect. The kids had a blast at the house as well as the beach in front. The adults enjoyed the beautiful views at the restaurant next door while the kids played on the beach and in the ocean. Minutes from Zona Romantica and 15 minutes to Mismaloya Beach. Super easy to get around and very friendly staff. Thank you for a wonderful time! We will be back!

We were a group of old college friends visiting PV for a weekend getaway. Santiago's place was perfect for what we needed. The location was easy to walk into center of the town. Having meal service included in the villa was amazing!

Beautiful private house and pool with beach access. Pictures and descriptions doesn’t do this place justice. Authentic home cooking including breakfast and dinner, relaxing in the open air home, listening to the waves made our vacation rememberable. Showers were hot, air conditioning kept us comfortable at night, only thing was beds were firm (preference is softer) but still slept amazing! Don’t pass on booking this place you won’t be disappointed

We had the best time at Santiago's house. He's a fantastic host — very responsive and really helpful in setting up activities. The house staff were lovely, having Rita and Juanita cooking two meals a day and cleaning made for a delicious and carefree holiday. And there's a great restaurant right next door which makes life extra easy. The private beach access is right in front of the house and leads to a really fun beach with snorkeling and tidepools for the kids to explore, and there's a sandier beach that's great for swimming just around the corner. The house is a little bare bones, but had all the essentials — towels, all the kitchen gear we needed, as well as a high chair and crib. The activities Santiago set up (a boat day and in-villa massages) were amazing. The only things I'd plan around are that parking can be a tight squeeze (but doable, maybe opt for cabs or a smaller rental car) and the pool is fairly deep (so bring floaties for little kids). Thank you for a fabulous trip!

Santiago and his families home is a beautiful old villa and was such a treat to get away and rest there. The chef Rita and Juanita were amazing. Communicating about anything we needed was a breeze and the food was some of the best we had during our trip. The restaurant below the home was also good and convenient! I would stay here again with a group!

The home is better than it looks in the pictures and the location is amazing just upstairs from what's practically a private beach. Rita and Anita were fantastic, kind staff and cooked us delicious meals every day! Wish we could stay here all the time, hope to be back and I couldn't find a single reason not to recommend Santiago's place and him as a host to anyone. Amazing, by far my best Airbnb experience!

Santiago and staff were phenomenal. The house had unbeatable views of the ocean and located right on the beach. Any question or issue we had, Santiago was immediately available to help us out. When we wanted excursions, or help with finding local suggestions the staff helped us coordinate everything, we felt like family. Rooms were cleaned daily everything was really spacious but mostly, Rita’s cooking was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend

Her local wholesome food was a delightful treat, and each dish was a journey of flavors that perfectly represented the essence of the region. The home itself truly captured the charming spirit of Puerto Vallarta. It was evident that much care had been taken to preserve its authentic character while providing all the modern comforts one could desire. The home is in a safe location and offers a private walkway to the beach which was an added touch for my kiddos! The rooms were spacious and cozy and let’s not forget the amazing pool! Overall my family’s experience was unforgettable and we can’t wait to return.
