Lovely stay! The property is gorgeous. I woke early everyday to the sounds of running water and birds chirping. My son and I loved visiting the river that ran along the property. I loved that it was so close to all of our adventures as well. Super comfy beds

A bit difficult to find especially at night. I suggest getting a solar powered light with some indicator on where tu turn in. Otherwise absolutely genuine

Had a nice stay! The host responded very quickly and provided us with useful information about activities in the region. There are a lot of kitchen appliances available, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was pleasant. A comfortable and well-equipped place that is well located to enjoy in peace.

A spectacular place, surrounded by nature!!!!!

The place is charming. We felt at home at all times. We woke up to the sound of monkeys, which was incredible. It's a shame it was raining the whole time. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Fabian’s place and would definitely recommend it. The location is perfect, just 5-10 minutes from downtown La Fortuna and equally close to the many nature activities and tours around Arenal. The apartment was clean, quiet, safe, and fully equipped, and we loved the river and short trail behind the property. It was perfect for our family with two young children.What truly makes this place special however is Fabian. He is one of the best hosts we have ever had. When one of the air conditioners stopped working on our first night, he had a brand-new unit installed the very next morning and arranged for the apartment to be cleaned. He was always available, incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond to help with everything from laundry and tour bookings to local recommendations. He genuinely cares about his guests and made us feel right at home. Thank you, Fabian, for making our family trip so memorable! This place will forever hold a special place in our 💖.

Absolutely beautiful location! The river area is so beautifully done and peaceful. If I could I would just move here! The house and grounds were both maintained equally well. If we were to return to the area we’d definitely return here!

We had a great stay. Very quiet place, has everything what we needed. Discovered El Chante Verde, a restart near by with great food. From balcony on one of far away trees we saw monkeys and on another tucans, one time counted 9 of them.

Our favorite part was the balcony—it was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee, listen to the river, and relax while my son played his guitar. The peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return in the future!

This apartment was lovely, clean, and beautifully decorated. We love sitting on the patio and hearing the sound of the river and birds! Check in was very easy with clear and detailed instructions. Very close to La Fortuna waterfall and everything in the area.

Fabian and this Airbnb was fantastic! The place itself and surrounding river was incredible! We had a massage which was setup by the host, with the water in the background, was a great start to our stay. Fabian helped setup all of our excursions and sent updates as needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

An incredible hidden gem! We loved our stay here. It is off the beaten path (a car is recommended), which offers amazing peace and quiet. Waking up with a stocked coffee bar on the deck while listening to howler monkeys and birds was unforgettable. On clear days, the volcano view is perfect. The property itself is beautiful, the beds are super comfy, and the A/C is nice and cold. Don't skip the hike down the stairs to the stream it’s absolutely worth it! If you are craving Indian food I would suggest the drive to Sunny’s. It was delicious and one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica.

Absolutely loved our stay Here! The check-in was seamless and the host was incredibly responsive to all our questions. The beds were super comfortable, and falling asleep to the sound of the beautiful river out back was pure magic. Perfect location and we would definitely stay again!

Overall, very good stay at Arenal Deluxe Villas. There are 3 units on a nice property nestled between two more upscale properties. We were in the "Black Village" unit. Pro's: Fabian is a good communicator and can serve as your concierge. Responsive and friendly! Common area is beautiful and well thought out. Nearby river and spa are relaxing. We got massages and they were very good. We loved the little balcony where we enjoyed the PM rainstorms and views of the volcano. Unit is updated with some nice touches. Great shower. Very comfortable beds. Cons: not a lot to name, but unit is on the small side. We were only 4 nights w/ 2 adults + 2 teens and it was fine, but some may find it small for a longer stay and 4 adult-size folks. No hot water in kitchen sink, but that was no big deal. Overall, a very positive stay and good value. We would absolutely come stay again!

Fabian was accommodating when I had to make a last minute reservation and his place was clean, had games, a fully stocked kitchen and great views. Close enough to town but still felt like it was secluded.

Great location. Even was able to do my laundry before we left. Make sure to check out the river out back, was like a free activity to check off the list .

The place is quiet, comfortable, and has walking trails that go to the river. Basic things like oil, towels, and a sponge for washing dishes were missing, but the cleaning person brought them when requested. They were all very accommodating.

This is a great place. Very updated. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I would choose it again if I were in that area. Also, the river below the property is absolutely beautiful and nice for a little hike. The community area downstairs is also wonderful.

The place is just like the photos, super clean, and well-maintained. The outdoor area is extremely nice and pleasant for a coffee surrounded by nature.

Everything was wonderful the bnb was clean and spacious and the amenities were amazing. It was so nice to be able to walk down to the little river and the location was very central.

Place was nice - the river access was beautiful. We went for a swim each morning and loved it! The common outdoor space was great too. The location was a little far from the hot springs, hanging bridges, zip lining (we just didn't realize it), but really close to the waterfalls. Thanks for a great stay!

Fabian was an excellent host and super responsive. He was very helpful as far as getting there and making plans. The condo is beautiful. The location is perfect, on the road up to La Fortuna waterfall, with some restaurants and things to do, but a little away from the busier area of La Fortuna. Our favorite part was the amazing setting of the river and the trails. We spent multiple times each day playing and swimming in the river. Gorgeous. My family and I had a great experience during our stay. The place was spotless, had a lovely scent, and was very conveniently located. The host's service was amazing—always attentive, friendly, and available for any questions. The space is comfortable, safe, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The river area is amazing, very private, which is a great plus for this place. I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it.

This was by far our favorite airBNB during our time in Costa Rica. The airBNB was beautiful and in a great location. The airBNB itself was cozy, clean, peaceful and had all the amenities we needed. We loved the outdoor gathering space, access to the river, and view of the volcano. It was near downtown and close to many restaurants. Thank you for a lovely stay and wonderful memories. Pura Vida!

Our family of four (2 adults and 15 and 17yo girls) loved our stay. Such a unique property with the creek and extra spaces to hang outside no matter what the weather is doing. Fabian was an excellent communicator and his recommendations were well written and gave different options depending on what you were looking for. Check in was detailed and very easy. We didn't get there until well after dark and still found it on the first shot. Super easy access to many of the local attractions. Dining within a few minutes away. The room itself was great. Beds and pillows were very comfy and a/c in both rooms that worked great. There was construction going on at the neighboring property but that looks to be wrapping up soon. Never was it loud or a bother to us. With a little bit of upkeep this would be immaculate (bathroom faucet loose, some cabinets opening rough, little things) All in all 10/10 and would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend.

Great spot with a beautiful nature trail down to the river! Pretty common space outside. Very easy to get into town and around to activities. Wonderful spa services available. There is a new building being built between the apartment and the view of Arenal, so there is construction going on (which we were told about.. this seems to be the norm around all of La Fortuna). Also, I don’t use Airbnb very often so I may have missed this, but I wish square footage was listed. The space felt a bit tight for 5 people, and the couch was definitely too small to fit all of us in the evening. There were bar stools we were able to use and there was also seating on the lovely deck, but our kids like to sprawl out on the couch before bed. We were just extra cozy! We spent the majority of our time outdoors exploring so it didn’t matter, just something that crossed my mind. The owner went out of his way to purchase a new crib and highchair for us. So kind! Overall we loved it and would stay again!

We had a lovely stay at the Arsenal Deluxe! Fabian and Ana were exceptional hosts - communicative, welcoming, and helpful. The river was amazing. We highly recommend utilizing Fabian to set up your excursions. We enjoyed ziplining, repelling, riverside massages, and several restaurant recommendations. We would happily stay here again!

Great little home with access to a magical river and a beautiful view of the volcano, the later slightly obstructed by temporary construction, but minor and not inconvenient in any way. Location wise very well positioned, with multiple points or interest such as the hotsprings and many local restaurants easily accessible. We had a great time and would recommend.

We had a great stay in La Fortuna. The house was exactly as described—comfortable, well equipped, and set in a truly beautiful location. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. One of the highlights was the wildlife right around the property—we spotted several toucans and even saw a monkey up close in the trees nearby. A memorable experience overall, absolutely recommend!

Lovely nature

Other than the clear instructions, and being easily accessible to taxis. The main thing I noticed compared to other spots we saw is that this had the best nature connected to the Airbnb, which I didn’t know how rare it would be until we went around town

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment felt so homey, clean, and comfortable from the moment we arrived. It was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed to truly relax after our adventures. The grounds around the apartment were incredible — truly special. The landscaping and natural beauty made it feel peaceful and tucked away, like our own little oasis. We had a rental car, which made it an easy and short drive into town, and even our furthest excursions were only about 30–40 minutes away. The location was perfect for exploring the area while still enjoying a quiet retreat. We would absolutely stay here again and truly hope we get the chance to!

Beautiful oasis, very peaceful to walk the grounds. Overall a great place for the price. Very efficient use of space. Great launching pad for accessing many of the sites and tours around La Fortuna and Arenal. The aerobic fitness machines in the picture have broken, so just be aware that those are no longer available if that’s important to you. There’s a track and gym in town that are a reasonable run or drive away. The laundry situation is a little odd and is not necessarily freely accessible 24/7. We missed the convenience of an open washer/dryer that often comes with Airbnb, but Fabian quickly worked to make sure the machines were available when we needed. Just be aware that you may need to give a heads up to make sure they’re available. Overall a great stay for a great price.

Great place for 3 nights! Seamless check-in, great communication and the property was 10/10. Our children loved exploring the river and the trails down by the water, the parking and stairs up to blue village were great proximity , we felt extremely safe and it was easy to get to the town of La Fortuna! We even got to watch Netflix to wind down before bed. The outdoor kitchen was so relaxing ! Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful property, with a magnificent view of the Arenal Volcano, It is truly spectacular. The apartment had everything you need, the communal outdoor area was very well equipped with lounges, dining tables and chairs, bar b que, play centre for younger children. The area down by the river was a wonderful surprise.

We definitely made a wise choice to stay here. The property owner is very nice, and the BnB is cozy and well-organized! The biggest surprise is the nearby garden—it’s exclusive to guests staying here, and the whole view is magical. Highly recommend staying at here!

This place is truly a hidden gem! The apartment is beautifully furnished and was perfect for our family of four. The soothing sound of the water, the tranquil garden, and the soft glow of tea lights in the evening created a breathtaking atmosphere. We would absolutely love to return on future trips and stay much longer!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Fabian was so helpful, responsive, and accommodating. Everything was as advertised, if not better. We took advantage of the onsite spa service and booked a massage which was done in a private area outside by the river and only regret not getting another before we left. There were so many delicious restaurants located within a few minutes drive. I would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

Place is as advertised and quite unique with a cool shared common place and heliconia (cool setup by the river. Fabian, the host, made some great recommendation for activities and restaurants, he is always very prompt in replying.
