Our family of four enjoyed our stay so much and did not want to leave. The outdoor area was beautiful and all of the rooms were clean and spacious. Check-in and check-out were very easy with great communication.

I’ve had this house saved for the last year. I’m so happy I finally decided to see if the pics were truly that beautiful in real life. It did not disappoint. Monkeys, parrots, more hummingbirds than you can count. It’s beautiful inside and out. Book IT!

We stayed in late May with our two adult sons. The location was ideal and close to town, but quiet and peaceful. The outdoor patio is beautiful with stunning views. Our host Lucia was responsive and met us upon check-in. We all slept well in the comfortable beds. The home looks exactly as pictured in the photos and the kitchen is amazingly equipped with everything you need to cook. Our only issue was the stove gas ran out mid-breakfast one morning and unfortunately we lost some of our food. Lucia immediately ordered more gas and it was filled within an hour and we had no more issues. Our sons enjoyed all the crabs on the patio. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful casa with a stunning ocean view. It’s perfectly located—close to the beach, restaurants, and shops—yet still quiet and private, nestled in the hills above Santa Teresa. We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Colibri and would absolutely recommend it.

Stayed for a week and wish we could have extended our trip! This villa was honestly one of the best parts of my group’s trip to Santa Teresa! Also, the security guard at the front gates were always so kind. I would definitely return :)

We just returned for from 9 days in Nosara. The first half of the trip we stayed at a high end hotel, the second half we rented Marcel's home. Our time at Marcel's was incredible. The house is exactly as described and photographed. The house was extremely peaceful, with INCREDIBLE views. Annabelle was fantastic in helping us check-in and out. We visited the house with our two kids (9 and 11) and invited my brother to stay with us. The property functioned perfectly for us, the separate bedroom / guest house worked perfectly for my brother and our family was more than comfortable in the main house. We have barely been home a day and are already looking at dates to stay the house next year!

Nosara was a beautiful place to visit, the ocean view was perfect and able to see the sunset each night. The home was perfect and will definitely stay again on our next visit. Check-in was easy and the host helped us with restaurant suggestions that we absolutely loved.

Our family of 4 along with my mom had an amazing experience. Enjoyed the pool, view, proximity to town and the surf and beaches, etc. The host Annabelle was exception with questions and recs. Would love to stay here again in the future. No recommendations for improvement.

This was an awesome place for our stay in Nosara. The view is better than the pictures and the location is ideal if you want to be close driving distance to the beaches and main centre, but also have the ocean views and nature etc. Loved eating cold watermelon every morning on the patio with the fresh ocean breeze. Lots of wildlife here too. There is a road that runs just below the property, so the motorbikes can be noisy, but this didn’t really affect the tranquility of the place or enjoyment of our stay. Hopefully, the current ATVs will be banned in Nosara soon… noisy engines! Overall, a great place for relaxation, health and healing. Would definitly stay here again.

We had a fabulous week in Nosara celebrating my 60th birthday with family. The villa is exactly as it appears on Airbnb - stunning views, jaw-dropping sunsets, well appointed bedrooms, living area, kitchen and outside terrace. We made full use of the outdoor grill/BBQ. The villa is in a perfect location, close to the beach and local town (Guiones) but you need a car for sure. Make sure you check out the Huacas restaurant at Tierra Magnífica hotel, just 1km from the villa. Co-host Anabelle was always very responsive. Thank you, Marcel.

Check in was smooth and the host was there to welcome us when we arrived. Marcel’s home was very comfortable and had a view that would be hard to beat. The outdoor seating area was comfortable both during the day and at night. I highly recommend this house.

We rented Casa Colibri for one month and had an amazing experience. This is a beautiful house with spectacular ocean views. Marcel and his team were awesome to deal with and they helped make this a wonderful trip. We would definitely stay here again if we decide to come back to Santa Teresa.

This mountaintop villa in Nosara was incredible. The view overlooking the treetops and ocean was breathtaking—we spent hours on the swinging seat just soaking it all in. The home is beautifully designed with modern finishes, super comfortable beds, and high-quality products throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Outside, the pool area is stunning and the outdoor kitchen with a grill and pizza oven made it easy to cook and relax at home. The location is peaceful yet just minutes from town for food and supplies. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and very easy to work with. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay, and they were super flexible. Everything about this place—from the views to the comfort to the hospitality—made our time in Nosara unforgettable. Highly recommend staying here. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely book again. One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had.

Beautiful home! Our family of five had the most relaxing time at Villa Colibri. The home is gorgeous and we really enjoyed the outdoor area with the pool, BBQ area and beautiful views. The home was in a nice neighborhood and felt very safe and yet close to lots of beaches and everything we wanted to do in town. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Marcel and Anna!

We have stayed in airbnbs across Santa teresa (all similar price points) for a few years now and Casa Colibri is by far the best one we’ve ever enjoyed. It is an incredible house, perfect location, private, great view and easy access. Every aspect of the home is flawless - it is very clear that real effort and thought went into the design and it feels like a real home - not just a typical rental property. We will absolutely be back and if the house ever comes up for sale we want to be first in line. The host is also extremely kind and responsive. Thank you so much for an amazing week.

Amazing trip to Nosara and the stay was perfect. The location is nestled in the hills, so there is some room around you and it is quiet (other than the occasional howler monkey). The home was in great shape and clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely return to Nosara and stay here again.

Villa Colibri is a lush oasis overlooking the beauty of Playa Guiones. The views from the house are a little better than the pictures lead you to believe, which is a good thing. The pool and outdoor kitchen are nice! No direct sunset view, though. The property was renovated around 2022/2023 and is clean and equipped with modern amenities. Perfect for three couples (max 6 adults). All beds were comfy! Martita and Anabelle were responsive to our needs and able to help arrange transportation, in-home chef, and groceries upon arrival. We would stay again! This is a wonderful place!

This place is stunning. Sweeping views of the ocean. Howler monkeys in the trees one day. Colorful birds. Everything. Plus it’s a litttttle but outside the main strip of town which is good because it’s quiet Steep driveway but everywhere nice in Santa Teresa has one. Rent an atv or a 4x4 vehicle. Highly recommend this place!

The house is really nicely done and the outdoor area and view are fantastic. The inside is very nice and there is a good amount of provided things to run a proper house. Only suggestion was to make the washing machine available to guests since it is listed as part of the house but sounds like a guest may have abused them. Otherwise would def come back (but will show them I know how to wash clothes like a human). Hill is very steep so do need a 4x4 or atv to go down to the beach but Rocamar is a minute away so it’s not so bad but walking would be a bit hard. If you surf it’s amazing since you overlook a good surf break so you know before you go if it’s breaking:)

Wow - what a gorgeous spot! This air bnb is one of the rare places where the reality is even more beautiful than the photos. The house, property, view and pool are all stunning. My husband, two kids and I had a fantastic stay and enjoyed every part of our visit. The location is lovely with privacy and a killer view yet just a quick 5 minute ride to town and the beach. Marcel and the property manager, Annabelle, were very responsive and even patient and kind when our seven year old locked us out of the safe with our passports in it. 🤯 Stop looking and just book this place! Can't recommend enough.

My family and I just spent a wonderful week at Marcels house in the hills of Nosara and it was our favorite family vacation ever. We have 2 girls, ages 7 and 9, for reference. The hostess AnnaBelle helped at every turn- she helped arrange a great Tica Chef to prep some meals for us, a private ATV tour to a beautiful waterfall, sunset horseback riding. We surfed almost every day. The house is perfect. It’s only 5 min driving to the town and has the best view of the beach. We had coffee on the swing each morning while checking the waves. Highly recommend!

This place was amazing! We were traveling as a family of four and had tons of space. Loved the outdoor spot and it is really close to beach access and lots of great restaurants. Dip pool and swinging chair are super relaxing. Would recommend an ATV or car to get back and forth to beach but it certainly is walkable. We had no issues.

This house was just like the pictures. The location was great, very close to town and an easy drive in to beaches and restaurants. The property was well kept. Annabelle was great, helping us when we needed anything. The power went out one day due to rain and falling tree branches. When we tried unsuccessfully to unlock the gate to leave Annabelle came right over to assist us. I don’t know if it was due to heavy rains while we were there, or just the nature of Costa Rica, but there were some pests inside the house, ants, a scorpion and a millipede. There is also a road up to the Huacas area that you can’t see in the photos but you can see from the patio. You will hear cars, motorcycles, Tuk Tuks, etc, but it’s not bad or busy. We had a lovely stay and this house fit our needs perfectly. Thank you!

This is the most beautiful home and the location is perfect for surfing and eating at all the local spots. Every detail of the house is picture perfect and pristine - I want to renovate my home to look exactly like Marcel’s! The nature that you see right outside the home is breathtaking - the butterfly garden, the birds, monkeys, insects, squirrels, all so amazing. Lucia is so sweet and accommodating, ensuring we were fully situated during our visit. I would highly recommend this home as the place to stay in Santa Teresa!!

Had a fantastic stay in Nosara. The villa is gorgeous. Our whole family delighted in swimming in the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and canopy, surrounded by the sounds of monkeys and birds. We had a great stay at Marcel’s house. Lucia and the hosts were available any time there was an issue, and the home really is beautiful and comfortable. My regret it having to leave it. Even though the electricity/water went out several times during our stay, it was hard to imagine wanting to be anywhere else. The infinity pool and view with hummingbirds zipping by made it quite magical. Highly recommended, you won’t regret it!

This place is magical, it’s perfect peaceful feel of Costa Rica and Santa Teresa. You are just on the edge of all the noise and bustle but not to far. Beach below is walking distance and endless. Yes it’s steep to the house but that’s how you get the views. There is an overwhelming feeling of beach bungalow with clean modern and very relaxing aura.

My family and I enjoyed everyday, except the day we had to leave. We felt right at home and could’ve stayed forever. Anabelle was an added bonus we never expected. Her warm welcome and kind assistance made a huge difference in our stay. Thanks for having us Marcel! We’ll be back!

We stayed at Marcel’s house for 5 days and everything worked really well. The house is 5 minutes drive from the center of Nosara and close to the main beaches. The house has a great location and everything is in pristine form, towels, sheets clean and fresh. We really appreciated Annabelle the house manager, she has been available and quick in response in many situations,there was a blackout for several hours in the town that affected many areas nearby, and Annabelle was a great resource of help, we really appreciated! I highly recommend Marcel’s house!

We absolutely loved this home for our vacation! It was the perfect mix of beautiful surroundings where we could relax in the sun and have proximity to shops , restaurants and beaches . We considered homes further away that might offer more quietude but felt it was more important to be minutes away from restaurants and such and we definitely made the right choice ! Anabelle , the property manager was so helpful in making recommendations on activities ( definitely recommend the horseback riding in jungle and beach that she set up for us just minutes from the house !) . I was already in the area from a stay elsewhere and she was able to get us into the home ahead of the scheduled check in time which was much appreciated. We went to nearly all the restaurants nearby that she recommended , they were all fantastic choices . We loved having a leisurely breakfast and hanging by the pool or in the shade of the cabana . Be aware there is construction on the hill so a fair amount of road noise .

Marcel’s home in Nosara is brand new, beautifully renovated, and very well located. It was cozy and comfortable for our family, view was excellent, and the service was perfect. Gracias!!

We had the best time staying at Marcel's beautiful house in Nosara. The space was clean, and the view from outside was amazing! Anabelle was fantastic at answering all our questions, helping us book transportation, and a chef to cook a meal for us at the house. She also connected us with Haylen, who we contacted for TukTuks when we needed to go to town. I do suggest renting a quad or golf cart to easily go into town!

We loved marcels place and its location was epic. Talk about close to everything in Santa Theresa. This place is in the center of where we wanted to be and all of our friends places as well. We loved our stay and we loved the home

We have stayed in a handful of other Airbnb’s in nosara over the last few years and this one is one of the best! We had an amazing stay over Christmas here with our kids! Marcel & Annabelle were great to deal with. The house was cleaned to perfection when we arrived, kitchen was stocked with all top appliances and everything you would need! Location to town is ideal, away from the noise but close enough for a quick ride to dinner & beach. The views were absolutely incredible. We spent our mornings having coffee on the porch swing watching hummingbirds, the best day to start the day. Even better was ending the day at the house, the sunsets you see from the outdoor area are breathtaking. Would be difficult for families with very young kids bc of drop off the outdoor space. That being said, our kids are 5+ and handled perfectly fine and it wasn’t a concern for us at all. Thank you for having us!

The combination of the beautiful accommodations and the amazing surfing opportunities made it a trip to remember. Great place for a vacation. Marcel's home was clean, comfortable, and very nicely designed/decorated (you can tell it is an actual home and not only a rental). The location is perfect as it is just out of the business, right across from one of the best sunset bars/restaurants, and easy to go anywhere (especially the most beautiful beach at Playa Hermosa). We had some issues with unexpected construction next-door but Marcel and his staff were quick to communicate and come up with a solution. The only thing to note is that you absolutely need an ATV or 4x4 to get up the steep hill to the house, which made walking out to the beach or town a bit difficult. But that is anywhere if you want the stunning ocean views, and the road is nicely paved and very safe.

Marcel has a beautiful home in a lovely gated community on a hill with a stunning panoramic view of the ocean. The house is very tastefully appointed and very comfortable. The cleaning staff are thorough and friendly and the managers welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend renting this home for your holiday.

Fabulous house, great location. The views are a amazing and the house is perfectly appointed. Quads are a must for surfers as the hike back up to the house is steep but easy to walk to and fr the beach for a swim. Totally recommend Casa Rocamar!

This was a great vacation for my family and I! Santa Teresa is a great town which is very busy and it was wonderful to be able to come back to this home that was in a quiet location but still accessible to everything. Home was perfect for our family of six and Lu the concierge was very helpful on every request we had from restaurants to activities. When one of our ATVs was not working. she ha someone there within 30 minutes to fix it. five star experience all around. If I had to list one item to improve on, is the pillows were too hard, feather pillows would be preferred! Other than that it was a perfect trip!

Everything was perfect, clean and well organized. The house is just as you see in the pictures. Lu helped us A LOT organizing all the activities and tours around Santa Teresa and receiving us at the check in. Highly recommend it!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the house and communication with the house manager- Lu. The house has a spectacular view and is kept in very well condition. The description and amenities you see on the listing are exactly what you get. There’s a big hill to be aware of so make sure you have a good vehicle to make the steep drive up to the house. Lu- the house manager is a rock star! Lu gave us amazing recommendations of what to do during our stay and helped coordinate everything. We had to change plans a # of times (I have two young boys) and Lu was extremely responsive and a delight to interact with.

Casa Rocamar is amazing. From early morning surf checks of the entire Santa Teresa beach line-up to relaxing dips in the pool, the house has almost all the amenities we could ask for while on a vacation. And if it was not at or in the house, the property managers - Valentine and Lu - were always available to us and helped make the most out of our stay. The hill is no joke. It is a leg and lung burning sprint if you choose to walk it, which we did at least once per day. 4x4 or atvs highly recommended given the location and the hill. We all wished we never had to leave.

Casa Rocamar was absolute luxury! Even though it is hard to capture the breathtaking views that Casa Rocamar offers, the photos of the AirBnb advertised matched the exact look of the home. Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The community was extremely secure and safe - with security guards and gates at the community and at the home. The service was impeccable - Lu and Valentine accommodated our group prior to the trip with excursions; Lu greeted us upon our arrival with a bottle of wine and a tour around the home, and she was at our disposal for anything we needed at any time, as she was extremely prompt in her responses; She also provided an entire list of recommendations during our stay in Santa Teresa and nearby locations. She made us feel right at home! While we were there, cleaning services came, which made it feel like a hotel-like stay. The home was already extremely clean, comfortable, and stocked will all necessities. The salt-water infinity pool was a nice way to cool off and take in the views. The home was also high enough and enough greenery surrounding it to witness some of Costa Rica's animals. The location was prime - about five minutes away from the busy part of the city. Relaxing and enjoyable! Perfect for "vacation mode"! We cannot say enough great things about our stay at Casa Rocamar! We would recommend it to anyone who visits Santa Teresa!

Dreamy perfection! Marcel’s home is an incredible escape with the most BEAUTUFL views, incredible pool and most comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Hotel like yet feels like a home. And Lu, who runs the day to day finds the best of what you need in Santa Teresa. Also, excellent location between the busy part of town and Playa Hermosa. We can’t wait to go back!

The house was wonderful and the view truly spectacular! The property manager, Louisa, was very helpful and assisted us with booking activities and rentals during our stay. I highly recommend being in a gated community like this while staying in Costa Rica. We were robbed earlier in the trip, and felt very safe here. Highly recommend staying!

Fantastic! Inspiring home with forever views, a great pool, and a wonderful kitchen and living area. Love the location and easy distance to all the things we love about Santa Teresa. Of special note was the organic soaps, composting, and Juana for daily cleaning and Luisa as an amazing concierge!

Wonderful! I liked everything - comfort, cleanliness, quiet, beautiful view, safety. By ATV you can reach any place in a few minutes.

This is a great house and close to all restaurants. The deck with its beautiful view of the ocean with great shade acts as another room but if you want total silence be prepared for construction next door, during the day. The house manager is very helpful with any questions you will have.

We loved our stay at casa rocamar. The view is stunning and the house have all you need. Highly recommended!!
