We loved our stay. Itziar and Teté are the best. Communication was always quick, clear and very friendly; you could see the affection and attention in every detail. Itziar gave us all the instructions impeccably and Teté welcomed us as if we were family, with that special warmth that you appreciate, especially when traveling. The apartment is beautiful: clean, comfortable, well decorated and in a perfect location to tour and enjoy the best of Oaxaca on foot. It really made all the difference. We felt right at home from day one. I wish all the Airbnb were like that.

Beautiful remodel with nice appointments. Street was noisy during the day but not a problem at night. Tete, the onsite hostess, was delightful and very helpful to our group. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay - the apartment is beautiful and in a great location to explore Oaxaca. It is walking distance from many great restaurants and the historic center. Our host Tete was absolutely lovely - very sweet, caring and always ready to help us. She made our stay even more magical.

We felt right at home. Doña Tete, the owner, welcomed us in and showed us the place around. She is the sweetest most welcoming person that I have ever met since using Airbnb. The house is stunning, very comfortable. We were a group of 6 and definitely felt big for us. The house is located in downtown, walking distance to everything. No need of a car. The house is very charming and relaxing. The host was very responsive and always available. I can not put into words how much better she made our trip. We are definitely coming back. I recommend this stay 100% if you’re visiting Oaxaca. Doña tete millón de gracias ❤️

This was the second time we stay here, we could not think of a better place. The host was highly attentive to our requests and was one step ahead of our needs., we felt as if we were at home. It is perfectly located, very clean, nicely furnished, close to shops, supermarkets, sites and highly walkable to most everywhere. I would very highly recommend staying here. I know we will again.

We had a wonderful stay. Te te, who is Imanol's mother, was our host in the downstairs apartment during our stay. She was exceptionally friendly, proactive, and often gave our kids little treats (Mexican candy and popsicles!). The home has a keycode entrance from the street and a common entry way with the downstairs apartment. Our stay was upstairs. Interestingly, there was one bedroom/bathroom along a shared corridor with a separate lock, and then the main area with two separate bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds and a bathroom/shower, a common living area, and a small kitchen. Up a level is a laundry area. There is also a terrace with a outdoor dining table and a large umbrella, very comfortable! The property was very close to the northern side of the center, just a few blocks. It is along a somewhat busy street, so there is some city noise, but we didn't find this troublesome. We had a great stay and would happy stay here again!

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Ideal location safe and friendly neighborhood. All amenities you could ask. Extremely helpful host. Will be back.

An exceptional place in a unique city

Great location, good value & personal attention.

We stayed st Casa Azul for 1 week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The condo is beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. A lot of thought went into the details. The beds are firm, but really comfortable. The kitchen was adequately equipped. The terrace was a delightful place to sit in the morning and evening. And I can't say enough about how kind, responsive and thoughtful Tete, our downstairs neighbor/hostess, was! What a delightful person. The location is absolutely perfect - close to many of the best restaurants and shops in Oaxaca. Casa Azul exceeded our expectations in every category, and I highly recommend it for its amenities and location.

We had a wonderful time at this house, from the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, our host (Tete) treated my family as it was hers, I would not think of another place to stay when I return to Oaxaca

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful - indoors and the outdoor areas! It is located in an exceptional spot and walking distance from so many fun things to do in Oaxaca! We also really appreciated the referral for a driver to allow us to explore the nearby areas. The only part of the description that is not clear is the layout. The master bedroom with the king bed/bath is down an outside hallway from the other two bedrooms and their bathrooms and the kitchen. For most groups, this may not be an issue, but if you are traveling with young children, it’s an important thing to note. We ended up all staying in the two bedroom/bath portion so we could be near the children. The host was very sweet and kid friendly - supplying us with a pack and play, mattress and sheets, and even some toys! We loved our time here. 

We had a great week staying at this well-located apartment. The layout was perfect for our group, providing enough separate and common spaces. The hosts are absolutely lovely, helpful and responsive. The neighborhood has everything one could want: bakeries, cafes, mezcalarias and a short walk to other facinating neighborhoods. Can't wait to go back.

This is a beautiful property that included everything we needed and more. My family particularly enjoyed the outdoor terrace for breakfast and after dinner conversation. The location is perfect, walking distance from some of the best restaurants and sights of Oaxaca. The hosts were extremely responsive, gracious, and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay in Oaxaca! The apartment is perfect.

We enjoyed our stay, location was safe, quiet, walkable, and in the midst of the Centro District. Host was especially warm, friendly and personable.

We were a big group and Imanol’s listing was great for what we wanted. Walkable to everywhere in the center of town. It was a max of 15 minutes walking. Great restaurants and bars near by. The terrace was an asset to the house. The co-host Gabriella met us at the house and was very attentive. When we return, this is a place I would love to stay again.

…the ambiance of “casa de Imanol” was extraordinary! Our hostess Tete is nothing short of magical. From the elegance and privacy afforded by the residence to her prompt attention to every need that arose we could not have been more at home. Tete brings so much warmth to her beautiful home in Oaxaca. You honestly couldn’t ask for a better location in Centro. We were 2 blocks from the park and there are lovely shops and restaurants within steps. Tete was so helpful with getting taxis early in the morning to the airport or outside of the city for day trips. This home has so much charm, and the outdoor roof patio is nothing short of divine. Do not hesitate to book this incredible stay!

A true gem! The location is situated in a great neighborhood and near the city center. Restaurants, coffee shops and small stores are across the street. Super secure, clean, very modern, spacious, well designed and decorated. Every room has its own bathroom. The roof top veranda overlooking the surrounding picturesque mountains was a bonus. Teté (Imanol’s mother) was most welcoming, very kind and responsive. I highly recommend this location and look forward to future visits.

Imanol’s place was clean, smelled clean, was ready for check-in for us. Instructions were provided in advance for easy checkin, wifi, and local recommendations. The water pressure was excellent, hot water, comfortable seating, and lovely terrace space. The area is easily walkable with food everywhere. I’d happily stay again and would recommend to others!

We are a group of well traveled ladies and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. It was a beautiful, well equipped home on a quiet street very close to the city center. We walked everywhere. All the rooms were comfortable each with its own bath with hot water. We especially enjoyed the roof top veranda. TeTe, Imanols mom, had coffee and drinks for us. She arranged a cab for our departure and just could not have been any sweeter, checking into make sure everything was perfect. We will stay with TeTe and Imanol anytime we visit Oaxaca. Don’t miss the coffee and baked goods across the street.

Terrific place! Clean, comfortable indoor and outdoor patio spaces, everything worked, walkable to centro, parks, restaurants. Responsive host and super sweet on-site person, too. Loved it!

Just wow! Perfect location within Oaxaca, 5 minute walk to everything with all the best restaurants only a couple blocks away. The hosts were so very kind and classy. They even left us breakfast pastries one of the mornings just because. Such a wonderful outdoor terrace area as well! Totally recommend this.

We had a great visit. My husband and I were traveling with our two college age sons and a niece, and there was lots of room--and beds and bathrooms--for all of us. The apartment is centrally located and we were able to walk most places we wanted to go. We found a great spot for al pastor tacos and tortas just two blocks away and had fun playing cards on the patio. We would definitely stay here again if traveling with a group.

We had a four week stay and at the end, it seemed too short. Not only is Oaxaca a magical place, but we got to explore beyond what Oaxaca City has to offer. Our hosts were fantastic, they went out of their way to accommodate us and made us feel right at home. They were extremely attentive to our needs and in many instances, anticipated them. We found everything to be clean and functional. And although it’s downtown, it’s not in the tourists’ path where it can be very noisy. It is extremely close to anywhere you want to be, but also great if you like to take long walks and explore the city beyond the touristic areas. I would certainly recommend it and definitely will go back. This is truly a little hidden gem.

This place was perfect for us. It’s even nicer than it looks in the photos. The location is great and the rooftop terrace is so nice for relaxing or having a drink in the evening. Imanol had great communication and even let us check in early.

We loved our stay in Oaxaca and this felt like a home away from home. It is a beautiful indoor/outdoor space that was perfect for our family of four, including two teenagers. The main apartment has two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. There is a separate master bedroom on the way to the patio, and each bedroom has its own full bath. The rooftop patio is beautiful and was a wonderful place for meals and to relax. The whole space was incredibly clean, convenient, and felt very safe. We were in a real neighborhood and yet it was a very easy walk to everything in Oaxaca (el Centro, el Llano, Jalatlaco, restaurants, etc.). The bakery across the street is fantastic (Cobalito). We highly recommend this AirBnB!

Perfect location and the perfect size for our family of 6 for 12 days. We loved the proximity to the nearby plaza with playgrounds and weekend activities plus within walking distance to everything you’d want to do/see/eat in Centro. (My 73-old MIL was able to walk everywhere just fine.) The internet works best in the living room - not super great in the bedrooms. We appreciated the house staff trading out sheets and towels halfway through and our hosts were incredibly kind and communicative. Definitely recommend this stay!

This is located in a wonderful neighborhood close to Santo Domingo. There is a great little organic store as well as restaurants and cafes nearby. The space has a beautiful design and the outdoor terrace can't be beat. Super reliable wifi and very clean. The hosts were very helpful and always friendly and checking in to make sure all was ok. Can't go wrong with this place.

This house is absolutely gorgeous, everyone in our group instantly loved how clean and the over all close attention to every detail. Imanol seems to manage the account, however, Tete is his mom who’ll be in charge of your stay is the best host I’ve came in contact with. She made sure we had everything we needed and was so responsive. She made us feel like a part of her family with how welcoming she was. The house is closely located to everything in Historic Center. 2 blocks from El Jardin Etnobotanico and El Templo Santo Domingo and a short walking distance to El Mercado Benito Juárez and 20 de Noviembre. It’s also super close to well known restaurants and cafes. Absolutely recommend!
