Super quiet place, super spacious and comfortable rooms. You can walk everywhere; very good restaurants. The host is quite friendly.

Great starting point to Ballena Marine Park! we enjoyed our stay at Victor's place and in the very laid down village in Uvita. The room has a very beautiful view and you can see many birds from the window or terrace! The Kitchen is very well equipped. And the bed comfortable! The cold water of the shower is very nice, and you want miss a hot shower at all!

We had a really great time in Uvita!! The apartment was incredibly beautiful and idyllic; we felt very comfortable. Victor was very easy to reach, and everything went smoothly at check-in as well. We were able to observe lots of animals from the apartment. Thank you very much for the great stay! :-)

This was such an excellent place to stay! The location is amazing, the surroundings are beautiful, the street is quiet, the room is spacious and accommodating, the home has everything you could need, and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. I enjoyed everything about this place.

Excellent place

I highly recomend stay there. The room is exactly as describe. Comfortable bed and big bathroom The kitchen has everything you need and more. The location is very quite and super clean I loved the proximity to the beach, restaurants and super markets Victor was very flexibile with the check-in and he helped me arrange my transportation to the bus station my last day. He was very attentive and he always replied to my questions and doubts quickly.

We had a wonderful four stay at Victor’s place. Extremely convenient location. Plenty of restaurants and markets within a three minute walk from the front door. About a seven minute walk to the main entrance of the park. It’s on a very quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac just off the main road. Zero road noise at night which was lovely. It has four rooms so you share the common areas, but it wasn’t an issue at all. We saw Scarlett McCaws and twocans every morning from the balcony. The bed was comfortable and AC very cold. Victor was very friendly and responsive. The cleaning lady was also very nice and she has a very cute little Chihuahua named Carl, who we loved hanging out with. For the price point, you can’t beat it!

The place is near the entrance of Parque Marino Ballena. There is no gate, but the place is safe. The place is as described in the listing and the room is comfortable. Restaurants, pulperia and bakery nearby

The place is impeccable, with all the amenities as shown. The kitchen is very complete, and includes a washing machine, everything was impeccable in terms of cleanliness. Victor was very attentive and responded quickly. As for the location, the only detail is that the access to the beach is a few blocks away, it does not have a direct descent.

The place was excellent and beautiful, my girlfriend and myself enjoyed a lot, everything close by and we’d definitely recommend it and we’d definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed staying with Victor. We stayed in the Ballena room, which had a nice view of the vegetation. The place is quiet, perfect to disconnect and just steps away from Marino Ballena Park. The kitchen is independent and shared, with everything you need and very comfortable to use. There is no hot water, but the truth is that it is not necessary, as it is hot in the area. The air conditioning works great! Highly recommended!

Great place.

The accomodation was comfortable, spacious, with a nice balcony and everything we needed. It is only a few minutes walk from the entrance to the national park. Victor was a great host, always responding quickly and even helping us with searching for local buses. Highly recommended!

Good and peaceful stay

Had 3 lovely nights at the property. Everything was easy to reach. The kitchen offered everything you needed. Victor responded immediately to every request. We enjoyed it and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Great place near the very beautiful Uvita beach where we stayed to see whales! Away from the highway area of the town, which makes it peaceful Victor was very helpful and friendly. Accomodation is great and has all you need - including shared kitchen with washing machine. Nice bakery nearby for breakfast Only cold water, but it’s very normal in this area of Costa Rica as it’s very hot

Great location just a few minutes away from the beach,restaurants,bakery,supermarked and bus stop. The room is very big, AC works great and the kitchen downstairs has even a washing Machine. The hosts have been super helpfull and friendly, always replied. I also really liked the people which I have met there and you will be able to see Toucans and big red Parrots on a daily basis from the balcony. What I really liked is that the place is on a very quiet sideroad where you can sleep super well even with open windows. Recommend 100%

It was a very nice place. We had 1 of the 2 apartments, shared kitchen and balcony. Nice bed, air conditioning was very quiet, really great! Refrigerator in the room. There is no hot water but you don't need that here either. The location is walking distance from the National park and beach. We stayed here for 3 nights. Recommended!

Victor and Gabriela were wonderful hosts! Their place was great and they even helped us book a whale watching tour! They were both extremely responsive and kind!

Accommodation according to the description. The stay went well.

The room was everything we need and very clean when we arrived. It was easy to get in. Victor was not only responsive with my inquiries, he checked in regularly to make sure all was well. We enjolyed our stay so much we stayed anothet of his properties when we need to move. Great host and property!

We had an amazing time here! Staying in Uvita was the highlight of our trip in Costa Rica, the place was great and we loved cooking in the kitchen and making smoothies!

We loved Victor's place and extended our stay 2 times. We enjoyed looking out the bay windows at two toucans who came by every day, lazing in the hammock downstairs, and preparing food in the clean shared kitchen. It was extra nice to have a mini fridge in the room, as well as aircon. It's an easy walk to the national park (which we went to almost every day for sunset) and several restaurants. Victor was always quick to respond and helpful in providing us some logistical info for our next journey.

Only stayed for one night. The room was a bit small, but that was compensated by large bathroom with a cozy bathtub. The beach, restaurants and a bus stop are very close by. Would have wanted to stay for a bit longer.

We had four wonderful nights at Victor's! The place is a 15 minute light walk from the entrance to Parque Marina Ballena! Every time we headed to the park, we could see monkeys, even a sloth, a crocodile and several beautiful birds! The accommodation is as described, the kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom is large and comfortable! Victor is proactive and he answers questions quickly! I recommend it!

The place is on very good loct. The beach, restaurants and shopping was very close. The shared kitchen was very practical and clean. Communication with Victor was very positive. He always responded very quickly and gave helpful tips. Other benefits of the place were the fridge in the room and the possibility to wash the clothes.

Well equipped kitchen, and nice to have ample parking in a safe neighbourhood. The unit cools down quickly with the AC. The pullout couch is comfortable and firm (good for me) but best suited for a child or someone short. I’m 5’4” so it was perfect, if I was a couple inches taller my feet would hang off.

I would definitely visit here again! The space was in a great location, very close to the beach and restaurants. Victor was always available to help. My room was perfect and as a bonus, I could do laundry!! It makes a huge difference to travel with a fresh suitcase.

Victor was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is superb and quiet, as it is conveniently close to various amenities, restaurants, and the stunning beach of the national park. The room itself was impeccably clean and impressively spacious, complete with a generously-sized TV and a private bathroom. Additionally, there is a delightful large hammock available for ultimate relaxation, as well as a communal deck where guests can socialize and enjoy each other's company

The stay at Casa Lapa was very pleasant, everything was clean and true to the description of the stay. Victor was very warm and attentive to us, he helped us solve all our doubts, and he handled us some extra services very comfortably. If we go back to Uvita we will definitely return again, 100% recommended!! We are very grateful.

Good place, pretty close to the beach and well located

We felt very comfortable at Victor's place. The place is very safe, you can walk to the national park, there are many restaurants nearby. You have a shared kitchen where you can cook something and your own very large fridge in the room, which we loved. What we very much appreciated is that Victor put together a QR code with tips for restaurants, activities, etc. Eifach awesome. Thank you Victor, pura vida!

This room was perfectly located to walk to the scuba shop, beach and tour operators. The bed and pillows added to the quiet neighborhood made for a great nights sleep.

The room is quite spacious, very comfortable, with a bathroom, refrigerator, table, a/c... the neighborhood is very quiet and super close to the national park and other beaches, I have stayed before and we have always had a luxury attention.

Beautiful place! Enjoyed the spaciousness and the ability to make the sofa bed an extra bed. Victor and co-host were always responsive. I felt really safe and right at home.

Great host and wonderful location close to many great sodas and beach

Victor & Gabriela were fantastic hosts! Very quick to respond. The place is set up very well! It's secure with an extra gated doorway. It also has a large shared kitchen on the ground floor that was easy for me to use and cook up some mac and cheese one night. It is also very close to the national park on the beach which is a 10 min walk away. There are great restaurants close by as well, with a good Mexican place practically across the street. Also, the AC in the room is fast and very nice! With a great price and great location, you can't go wrong with booking here!

Amazing place to stay. Beautiful room with A/C on a local street wish lush plants, birds and lizards around. Easy instructions, good Wifi for work sessions and very quiet in the night. Close to good mexican food and a minimarket. It's not cheap, but compared to the general price level in Costa Rica, which is high, it is okay. Very good communication with the host. I would recommend :-)

Great house, good location to reach the beach (Ballena National Park). Mexican restaurant and cafe in the immediate vicinity. Communication with Victor and Gabriela was excellent, unfortunately I never saw her, but they always responded very quickly to my messages and were extremely helpful - thank you again! Definitely recommended!
