6BR Villa in Loreto

Baleny

Excellent, 4 weeks ago

We had a wonderful stay in Loreto! The house was perfect for our group of 10 - a few families with teenagers and younger children - to get together, relax, have fun, and make some great memories. We truly had a blast. Teresita was a kind/responsive host - helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The house is within easy walking distance of the closest beach, which was super convenient (2 blocks). Downtown is walkable too (~10 blocks), but with a larger group and several younger children, we found the walk a little tiring for the little ones, especially navigating some of the uneven sidewalks or stray pets along the way. If you're traveling with a big group or small children, I would definitely recommend having a rental car for getting back and forth to downtown. Thank you, Teresita and Natasha!

Teresa was very helpful and friendly. The house is great, and Shadow is a great, very well-behaved dog.

We had a pleasant stay. Beautiful home with great view. Local to main town and beach. Teresita was great and informative when we arrived. Shadow (house dog) was very lovely to have around and greet you as you return to the premises. Overall my family and friends enjoyed our stay. All rooms are spacious and equipped with basic needs including kitchenette. Beach chairs, towels and cooler bags available was a plus for our use. I would definitely return and recommend this property. Thank you Natasha and Teresita once again.

First off it’s a great stay. Several rooms for large families each like its own apartment. Some of the furniture does need an upgrade but we are there to explore the town not sit in a worn down couch. Only downside for us was the constant presence of the house keeper. She might have the right intentions but it felt like we were being watched all the time. We get that she needs to come feed the live in dog which is a great dog we all loved him. But she spent too much time in the property. Each time we made a trip to the pool or just leaving the house she was there. While we swam she was cleaning around the pool, as the days went on seemed a little excessive and we just felt like she was there to supervise us? Like I said she might have had all the best intentions to keep the place neat but we felt different. Sweet lady by all means don’t get me wrong we are just used to picking up our own mess and having more privacy.

Absolutely stunning. We had the whole place to ourselves for a week, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Teresita met us upon arrival, walked us through each room to make sure we understood where everything was and how it worked, and gave us plenty of recommendations for local food and shops. The rooms are spotless. Every kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils. Each room also comes with a water cooler, so you always have cold fresh drinking water available. Shadow the dog is the friendliest goofball; he loves to play with you when it cools off at night! Head down to the pool deck and he'll bring you a toy for a friendly game of tug-of-war. The house is two blocks away from a quiet local beach and maybe a 7 minute walk straight down the street from Centro Loreto. We walked to lunch and dinner multiple times during the week. Even at night, the neighborhood is quiet and felt perfectly safe.

A great place for our large family group, not too far from the main downtown square in Loreto. Teresita is our local host and was there to meet us with the ultimate host assistant, Shadow. She was extremely responsive during our stay and made several recommendations on restaurants, taxis (go with Oscar!), bike rentals, etc. Natasha, the owner, didn't miss a beat in responding to questions. The accommodations were just fine with each unit having a mostly equipped kitchen, beds were very comfy, A/C was delightful, very nice pool with floats, toys, bathrooms clean, shower water was hot (takes a bit to get hot), lots of shady nooks around pool, and water coolers for each unit. It's a five minute walk to the beach, 10-15 minute walk to downtown and stores/banks. Having bikes (rental) makes it a zippy ride to the port and all the cool places Loreto has to offer.

It was very nice and satisfying. Just need to be more specific in the rules as there was always one or two people outside the accommodation coming in and out if I notice these employees. On the other hand the dog that inhabits the house every day was throwing the trash
