3BR Condo in Tulum

Du Thao

Excellent, 1 year ago

Gorgeous space. We were almost tempted to just stay in the airbnb rather than visit Tulum.

My family and I loved the stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Tulum. The place was very warm and spacious, with extremely comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Lena and Chris were great hosts, very friendly and attentive to our needs at all times. We were provided with very useful local recommendations that made our stay even better. I definitely recommend this place and would definitely be happy to come back in the future.

Chris place is super cute ! It was very quiet and easy to find and check in was a breeze . The place is as described . We did have to get a taxi because it’s not walkable to any grocery stores or town and there’s a concierge on duty 24/7 to help you with getting one whenever you need . This place fit 5 of us comfortably and the rooftop restaurant was good when we didn’t feel like venturing out to get something . Thank you for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay, thoughts and experience details from our stay: - I loved that each room had its own climate control. I don’t like it cold, but my company did like it cold and kept their room at their prefer temperature. - The rooms are comfortable, beds are comfy to an extend, not plushy, they were more on the firm side, pillows are very comfy. Clean white sheets, amazing! - Each bathroom had two white towels and two large color towels, that came in handy, sinks equipped with hand soap, hand towels. Shower had small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, thank you for that! hot water took a while to run but it did eventually, no problem taking showers. - Internet speed could be better. At times too slow for a group of six. - Washer present, no dryer, but there is drying rack to be placed in the balcony and it is warm and breeze here so clothes dry in a few hours. - The entry door has an actual key, no code. So better keep track of the key and don’t loose it. - overall a good stay!

Hi Chris, Thanks so much for letting us stay at your place. It was really a beautiful. The location between the beach and the town was perfect. The information you sent us prior to our stay was really helpful. We had wonderful street tacos in town and were also able to eat at Hartwood and ARCA. Both incredible. Be sure to add Tropi Tacos and Antojitos la Chiapaneca to your list. Ki'bok Coffee had great coffee and food. Of course, Coba, Tulum and Chichen-Itza continue to amaze. Thank you again for all of your help and generosity. All the best. Rob

This was a difficult stay. While the property design was nice, it was very hard to breathe or sleep here, and the amount of dirt kept me from even using the balcony pool. The property is directly surrounded by a construction site that is mostly massive piles of dry dirt. Every breeze turns into a visible dust storm and adds a layer to everything. The AC system is apparently 'very complex' and can't be maintenanced within five days. During our stay, it was so dust infested that it was dropping dirt out of the vents and sounded like it was dying, sometimes screaming. Until the property manager (kindly) brought us air purifiers for our bedrooms on day 3, and new sheets, we were waking up coughing from the air all night long. The airborne dust coats everything in hours - I cannot fault the cleaning staff at all, only the AC and air filtration failure. The wifi is also slow, even under the router. And since it's a U shape, one bedroom has no signal at all. Very hard mattresses, too.

I had a great stay at Chris bnb. His hosts were very responsive & helpful on anything I needed. The road leading up to the stay was not paved so be prepared for the uneven dirt road (very common for the rapid development of Tulum) It’s only a 15min back road drive to Tulum beach, area is private & peaceful. We all felt secured in the building & place. Place was clean and the beds were comfy- on the medium firm side. AC worked great in all rooms & having a private pool was a plus! I would definitely come back for a stay. Also a plus…I didn’t know was the small cafe kitchen on the rooftop, super convenient when grabbing a quick bite & drink! Thanks Chris and Lena!

This Airbnb in Tulum is a fantastic find at a great price. The on-site restaurant, gym, and heated pool provide a nearly all-inclusive experience. The unit was spacious for two, allowing us to work remotely without disturbing each other—me from the laptop and my girlfriend on Zoom calls. The bathrooms are generously sized, and the 24/7 heated outdoor pool is a highlight. Mid-stay complimentary cleaning was appreciated, and the rooftop restaurant was a daily go-to for its calm ambiance and friendly staff. Conveniently, taxis are always available at the front and it was about $30 USD to the center or hotel zone. Keep in mind, though, that nearby construction can be noisy with open balcony doors, which sometimes felt like someone knocking on the door in AM, but with balcony doors closed and music playing on the smart TV, it’s not noticeable. I occasionally heard squeaks/thumps from what I assume to be neighboring units/AC booting up. I would stay again 100%. Great bang for buck!

Chris & Lena we’re amazing hosts! Their welcome guide had so much detail. The space was bigger and even nicer in person. We loved the privacy of the unit, especially after being out all day. We found a car rental to be very useful to get around from here, though there is a free shuttle to the beach from the hotel. It’s very close by car to the beach, Cenotes and restaurants. It’s not very walkable yet but we didn’t mind. The rooftop restaurant/ pool was conveniently located for quick coffees or snacks. The private pool was perfect for dipping our toes in after long days of exploring. With all women in our group it was great to have our own balconies and bathrooms to be able to get ready or have some time to ourselves. The main living space was also great for spending time together as a group, the sliding glass doors open all the way, creating a lovely open space for the outdoor/ indoor living room. It was great for my bachelorette.
