Jeremy, As clearly stated in the listing, you have booked an accommodation with front view on the lounge and side view of the ocean. There are pictures showcasing the room interior and its view. The price reflects the location. We have other beach front options listed at a different value, if you are interested in this type of accommodation. Popoyo area is often affected by energy black outs, for this reason we have a backup generator that provides energy to the entire property. A/C though, needs to be protected with a special device that delays a few minutes the reset of the apparel when there is a energy shortage in order not to damage the equipment. It normally doesn’t affect the room temperature significantly when the event occurs, as it is limited to a few minutes only. The guests that were occupying the room before your stay, had lost the main key and checked out with the back up one by mistake, this is why we had to change the entire locker and it took a little longer than expected to arrange. Please note that the staff tried to check you in earlier than the official 2:00 pm time so that you could enjoy the pool and the place. Sorry this didn’t work and you couldn’t appreciate their effort. Saludos

Hi Angela, We are very sorry for your car ! However, this road access to Popoyo beach is public and out of our control. At this time of the year (end of raining season), it is true that people usually rent higher car for better access… We are truly sorry that it tainted your experience at our hotel. Dear guest, the room of your election has been on our listing with the same pictures for several years, we believe it accurately represents the status of the space and we have never received a complaint in this respect so far. Sorry for the noise, as indicated in the listing, the room is facing the lounge, and on a busy day you can eventually hear the daytime backgroung noise of others guests. The pricing of the listing reflects the location of the room. Saludos
