What a wonderful home for a visit to the Baja! Octavio was wonderful with any and all questions we had, and helped us get in and situated into a beautiful home for our 3 night stay in La Ribera area. He recommended great places and helped us organize renting a buggy for the time we were there. The home is private, peaceful, CLEAN, and very well stocked! We used the well equipped kitchen to prepare several meals, as well as the outside pool-side grill. Spent the warm days in the pool, and mornings in the lounge chair taking in the view of the ocean and listening and viewing countless bird species. Watched a sunset from the upstairs roof, and had good nights sleep with the cold blowing mini splits in every room. We had two couples in our group and there is plenty of space for 6! Great addition of having access to a full size washer/dryer while on a trip! Fun location to visit several surrounding public beaches, and towns. We would love to stay again if in the area!! Thanks again!

The house was beautiful… Maybe a bit isolated for shopping, but actually, I was fine with it.

Our family spent a few very peaceful days at this lovely home. It looks just like the photos and the views are incredible. It’s a short drive to the nearest beach and a 10 minute drive to the town of La Ribera. We were met at the house by Jessie who was friendly and helpful. It was our first time in this area and we didn’t realize quite how removed it is but we’ll definitely be back - just will make a bigger grocery run on our way there! Definitely recommend this house and host. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The house has beach chairs, pool floats and just about everything else you’ll need to enjoy the gorgeous weather!

Everything was excellent with the house. We were traveling as couples, and everyone had privacy, while at the same time we could spend time together as a group. The facilities are excellent; we would definitely recommend the house for a vacation, with everything you need to relax.

My husband and I just recently spent four nights at Casa Vista Ballena, and it was perfect! The property is exactly as pictured—immaculately clean, and the kitchen well stocked with essentials. Even though it’s a bit further inland, we still woke up to breathtaking ocean views right from the porch and master bedroom. Thank you Jessi and Octavio!

Spectacular views from nearly every room. Peaceful and private and safe with high end amenities. The pool was a treat and recommend to request heat in the winter months.

A wonderful escape! Octavio’s place was immaculate and peaceful. The house was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We enjoyed cooking out overlooking the pool and ocean. A true gem of a casa. La Ribera is a lovely town with pristine beaches. We are already thinking about our next trip there!

We had a wonderful week at Vista Ballena. The house was well-equipped, very clean and as described. We have been coming to La Ribera for 20 years and this was the nicest home we have stayed in. Thank you Octavio y Jessica!

This is one of the nicest Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed at, but it had a fair price nice location beautiful grounds kept clean as a whistle would highly recommend it to a lot of folks

Great place! Super clean, airy, cozy, well-stocked. We enjoyed the pool every day. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were great, and living room felt cozy for nighttime streaming. It was a little ways from La Ribera, but it was worth it for the quality of the home. Best AirBnb we've stayed in!

The house had everything we wanted for our 9 day stay. Responsive and helpful host. Great outdoor space with pool and grill. The location is private and quiet, and just a short drive to local stores and restaurants. We had a very enjoyable time at this beautiful home.

We loved staying here in La Ribera! The house is even more beautiful in person and it’s just a short walk from the beach. We had never been to Mexico before so there were a lot of unknowns for us. I can say that it felt so safe here that we accidentally left the keys in the off-road vehicles overnight more than once. We’re absolutely planning on coming back and we will be staying here again I’m sure!

We really enjoyed staying here! The location was right where we wanted to be and the views were amazing. The neighborhood is very nice and has 24/7 security. House had lots of extra towels and linens. Host and team were also every responsive when we had questions. My only recommendation to other potential guests the pool heater was not on when we arrived. Water was fine during the day but it can be cold at night since it’s technically a desert landscape. The host allowed us to have them turn it on for an extra fee while we were there. Not a problem I would just recommend if you’re staying during certain months and would like to swim at night. It was definitely worth it to us since their pool is very nice and we wanted more time to use it in the evening! Overall a great experience

The house and views were amazing. Air conditioning worked great in all rooms when needed, but was also nice to enjoy the breeze through the huge sliding glass doors for the evening sunsets and ridiculously beautiful sunrises over the sea of cortez. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware we could possibly need. The location is peaceful and quiet, with no barking dogs or morning roosters like so many other places we've stayed down here. Will definitely be staying again!

A beautiful well equipped and well maintained home in the desert and a 3 minute drive from the sea. Lots of beautiful outdoor spaces. We saw whales from the rooftop putting on a big show. La Ribera is small and cute.

We loved this house and could have stayed another week. Views of the ocean from every room, and walls in main room and bedrooms open to the outside. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to relax. We also enjoyed the lovely pool area, although it was a little cold (even with paying for heating) in December. Responsive and helpful host, lots of great recommendations and instructions. AirBNB done right!

Excellent place to stay. Comfortable beds, couches. Clean!! Plenty of blankets and pillows. Fully stocked kitchen. Very clean and well maintained. Private. Quiet. Gorgeous views. Octavio was so nice, very helpful and responsive.

I don’t write many reviews but this place was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was spotless. Had all the amenities listed. Octavio was great and helpful and so patient since we did a late night check in. Thank you. It was a beautiful and relaxing location. Had all we needed to cook our meals since restaurants were a bit of a drive. The pool was beautiful. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This house is perfect. Extremely well stocked, comfortable and a perfect jump off point for adventurers up and down the coast. We are a family of 6 with young kids. They loved the pool and the roof deck for watching the sunrises.
