Everything was perfect and even looked better in real life than in the pictures! The view was beautiful. Great organization and friendly service. Everything we wanted to see was nearby, as were the best restaurants. Would definitely come again!

Very great place to stay and very clean! Check-in went smoothly. The outdoor pool makes loud noises and is also lit at night, which makes it a bit difficult to sleep. We would still come back!

It was great. We were received in a very friendly manner. There was still a small problem with the air conditioning, but it was fixed IMMEDIATELY while we were still unpacking our things, and in terms of cleanliness and furniture and so on, it would simply be a 10/10. And you can't imagine a better view with a pool. Even though the pool wasn't that big, I didn't need more because I'm more of an appreciator than a swimmer. So overall, great.

Great stay! Very convenient location to great restaurants, within five minutes. About 10 minutes away from Manuel Antonio National Park, and about the same distance away from Quepos if you are trying to do some fishing, which we did. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. The best part for my family was the deck. Incredible view, and the plunge pool was used at least once daily. This was the first thing on the agenda whenever we got back from fishing, beach, hiking, and the best spot for coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. We just loved it. Would absolutely stay here again and hope to do so.

We stayed for 2 days in the Villa Vega, a nice, relaxing place, whether relaxing on the beach or simply on the beautiful terrace in the deck chairs or in the house's hot tub. The house is beautifully furnished with a lot of love and style and offers plenty of space. Orlando, the caretaker, was always available and quickly there when you needed him. With a lot of luck, you can see monkeys and toucans in the morning. It is close to Manuel Antonio National Park. We would recommend the villa to anyone looking for a special place to stay.

This place is amazing. The views alone are worth it, but add the pool, the beautiful showers, the wildlife that comes right up to your door… it’s stellar. Also, that AC is powerful, which is a need from people not used to Costa Rica weather ;). Orlando was an amazing host for us. Highly, highly recommend.

This villa in Quepos is in an amazing location and has the most incredible views. We enjoyed the plunge pool and saw Scarlett Macaws feeding in a tree directly in front of the deck. The layout is great for two couples or a family traveling with one child, as we were. We loved our stay here and would come back in a second.

We had an amazing time at this villa, the property itself is lovely, featuring breathtaking views and frequent visits from local wildlife. We saw monkeys, wild horses, and plenty of beautiful birds right from the villa. Orlando, had good communication throughout and fixed any minor issues we had (such as WiFi)as soon as he could. The main thing future guests should keep in mind is accessibility. Once you pass through the main gate, there is an extremely steep hill you have to walk up to reach the villa, which would be very difficult for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay, and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is beautiful and very well maintained. The view from the pool is absolutely stunning and made our stay even more special. It’s very private, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax. We would definitely love to come back!

Stayed as a family of 4. Great location in between the beach and the bulk of Quepos. Several walkable restaurants, beautiful vistas, regular animal sightings (macaws, toucans, iguanas, and squirrels monkeys), and the quiet solace of the place all combined into a phenomenal experience. Orlando was extremely responsive and helpful, with excellent advice whenever we decided we wanted to do something random and fun. All in all, a strong recommendation from me.

Our favorite stay in our 11 day Costa Rica vacation! We saw Macaw Parrots fly by every morning and the large iguana’s loved to eat the flowers off the bush right in front of our deck. The private plunge pool was SO perfect for lounging. Orlando, the concierge, was a highlight of our stay. He gave us incredibly helpful information about the national park, helped organize taxi’s and dinner reservations, and every recommendation he gave was a hit!

Just book it, you will not be disappointed!

It's a very nice place, it's exactly as described. My only comment is that the pool felt like it had a lot of chlorine, but otherwise excellent.

Beautiful place with excellent location to the park. You have clear view of the ocean, cute little pool on the balcony, and setup for privacy. Even the walk to your villa was pretty amazing with the flowers/plants along the walkway as you look out at the ocean beyond the hill. Ideal setup for my family with 2 young adult daughters in the mix. Stayed in 3 places in Costa Rica and this bed was the most comfortable - simple sink in. Then there's the concierge, Orlando, who had our groceries ready when we arrived and set up an outstanding tour of Manual Antonio park for us.

We had an amazing stay at this villa and would absolutely return! Orlando was incredibly attentive from start to finish — he was there to greet us when we arrived and even helped bring our luggage in, which made check-in feel so easy and welcoming. The property itself is beautiful with incredible views that never got old. One of our favorite parts was taking a refreshing dip in the small pool at the end of the night while enjoying the scenery. The place was spotless, the cleaning service was lovely and kept everything feeling fresh, the A/C worked perfectly, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Overall such a relaxing and memorable stay — highly recommend for anyone visiting and looking for a peaceful getaway!

Great place, very nice. Exactly as described. You will need to drive most places and walking is not practical. And we’re not able to easily get to a beach. Just some thing to keep in mind. But great place and would definitely stay here again.

This Airbnb was amazing, we did not want to leave! It’s very private and absolutely stunning, the backyard views are incredible and we even had cleaning services every other day! Would recommend this place if you visit Manuel Antonio 1000%

We enjoyed our stay at MangataVilla - we were able to see parrots and monkeys from our balcony and the location is a short drive to many nice restaurants and beaches. Host was friendly, responsive, & helpful.

This was my favorite place to stay at during my 6-day trip in Costa Rica. The backyard view is amazing. My husband and I were able to catch photos of animals including monkeys and a macaw! It is about a 10-15 minute drive from the Manuel Antonio National Park. Will definitely book again on our next trip!

Excellent location with beautiful views. Good layout. Nice Private jacuzzi (outdoor). Tito recommended Johan Chaves as bird watching guide and MA national park guide who was excellent. Recommend use of SUV to scale to parking.

The villa was perfect for 2 couples. Each of us having privacy and our own bathrooms. Both rooms were equally beautiful and the view was majestic. Very close to anything you need and the host was very responsive, often checking in to see if we were ok and giving us helpful tips and recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again. It is a gem that you shouldn’t pass up if you have the opportunity to come. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful place! Super nice view and very nice interior. Bed was extremely comfortable. It’s listed as beachfront but you cannot access the beach by foot or car. This was confirmed by our host. Speaking of our host…Orlando was the BEST! He was extremely helpful, responsive and overall top notch host. If you have never stayed in a jungle area take note of the bugs and insects. It was my wife’s first time and it took her a while to understand it’s just part of life out here!

We had a very nice stay at Mangata Villas. Host Orlando was very helpful during our stay and gave us lots of useful tips about the area and activities. The house was spacious, tidy and equipped with every comfort. The national park is a 15-minute drive away. We felt immediately welcome and comfortable. Definitely recommended for those looking for a nice and relaxing place to stay. We would absolutely recommend it!

Had an amazing time staying at Villa Asteria! Beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets, and friendly iguanas came to visit us. Place is spotless, A/C runs cold, and the bed is super comfy. They have a massage company that comes right to the Airbnb and gives one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Thank you for letting us stay here. :)

Our stay at Villa Asteria was lovely! Tito and Orlando were beyond helpful and ensured we had an amazing stay from before we arrived and the entire time we were there. The Villa itself was very clean, and maid service came while we were there to tidy up as well. The location was a 2-minute drive from Manuel Antonio, and about 7 minutes from Quepos, making it easily accessible to great restaurants and excursions. My only complaint is that the pictures of the view were not exactly as described. Upon arrival, we found that 3 huge trees had grown in front of the pool/patio area overlooking the ocean, which obstructed about three-quarters of the view. I understand that in the rainforest, trees grow quickly due to heavy rainfall. However, it was a bit disappointing to have so much of the ocean view blocked since this was majority of the reason why we chose this home.

Wow. The view is exceptional. Very clean. The beds are extremely comfortable. Even better than the photos.

We had an excellent stay in Villa Astoria. The check-in by Orlando was smooth and professional. The accommodation itself was exceptionally clean and while the photos online already look great, the place is even better in reality. From the terrace, we often saw scarlet macaws, turkey vultures and even a toucan visiting the property, along with several other animals. Special mention for the excellent coffee and high-quality cleaning throughout our stay. Also, we highly recommend booking your national park guide through Orlando—not just for the price, but for the chance to get the Oscar as your guide. Overall, an outstanding experience. 6/5.

The villa was everything described and more. It was clean, conveniently located, and offered excellent views. Our concierge, Orlando, was top-notch. He was very responsive, knowledgeable about local attractions and dining, and provided great recommendations for kid-friendly excursions.

The place was sensational and fully corresponded to the description. Stunning view, and on the balcony, a small pool area where you can sit. Watching the sunset and sipping a drink was absolutely enough. We were greeted on the terrace by a macaw, less than 10 feet away from us – fantastic! Everything was great, and I highly recommend staying there.

I could live here permanently. The place was immaculate and the views were stunning. They have all the amenities needed for when you travel. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. Right beside the patio macaws fed in the tree and an iguana sunned himself. A local showed us a sloth in a tree by the parking lot. This place is gated. Orlando was very responsive and knowledgeable with all my questions. He recommended places to eat and shop and helped with reservations when needed. The location was central to all the places we toured as well. I will definitely be staying here again.

Fantastic view!! We felt very comfortable. The only thing we were missing was a large table where 4 people could sit. And there was no “shared beach access – right on the beach” (as listed in the features). You need a car to get to a beach where you can swim.

We loved our time at Mangata Villas, and we’re only sad we didn’t stay longer than two nights. The villa was much bigger than we were anticipating, and the view out to see was incredible, as was having a small pool on the veranda. A special mention goes to Orlando, who met us upon arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful (insisted on helping with our luggage!), with local restaurant recommendations and arranging a taxi to and from Manuel Antonio National Park. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

We were super happy with the place! Everything was perfect. The villa is lovingly furnished, and the beds are super comfortable with high-quality bed linens. The view was sensational. The small plunge pool was the perfect complement to the cozy terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As for the ants, which some people here in the reviews complain about, I can only say that this is completely exaggerated. I saw maybe 3 ants during our stay, and they were on the terrace. When you go to a tropical area, you can expect to encounter a few insects. In my experience, the villa was very clean. We also received great tips, and our requests were handled perfectly. Orlando booked a night hike for us, which we loved. Even the fact that we arrived far too late to check in due to a construction site and a traffic jam was not an issue. I highly recommend this place without reservation!!!

This is a really great place, right up against the jungle. We had monkeys and wildlife all around. It has perhaps some of the best jungle, ocean, sunset views you could find anywhere in the world. There are no obstructions or buildings behind you. Sunsets could be a bit intense though with the direct light. The mornings on the back were the highlight as it was cool and all the wildlife was out. The pool is just ok, I wouldn't necessarily book it just for the pool. It's very quiet and far from any noise. There is a management company that manages a couple of different airbnb's behind this small gated community, and they are very responsive. They will answer you right away no matter the time of day. I would definitely book again.

This place is absolutely stunning. Orlando was so helpful with check in and offered to help with anything we needed during our stay. The villa was very spacious and clean. We did have some ants but it didn’t bother us at all, you are in the jungle. We also had monkeys right on our balcony, birds in the trees out front, and lots of lizards. We recommend staying here, the view says it all!

Our stay was amazing Orlando was a great host and always responded right away if we needed anything. He greeted us everyday by text and wished us a pleasant day. We loved everything about this place it was beautiful, peaceful and just amazing views. The splash pool was great we used it alot and the sunsets were breathtaking. It was close to everything that included beaches good restaurants, supermarkets etc… we will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. And will definitely stay here again. We absolutely loved it!

The home was absolutely lovely. Very comfortable clean, and safe. The view was absolutely STUNNING. Sunsets were unreal and we even saw toucans and sloths from the back patio. The ocean views are breathtaking. My husband and I arrived, walked out on the back porch and were greeted by two Scarlett macaws flying right by. The small pool is a wonderful touch to sit in and enjoy the sunset after a long day of exploring or spending time at the beach. I would highly recommend the Villa for your stay in Quepos. We are so thankful we did!

Absolutely loved this place — just book it, you won’t regret it! The views were unreal, especially the phenomenal sunsets over the Pacific 🌅. The space was beautifully decorated, very clean, and felt private and safe. We had macaws show up in the tree right off the porch and even saw horses come up from the field out back — such an amazing Costa Rica experience. The location is walkable to some great restaurants (depending on your fitness level — it’s a hilly walk back), and we loved Namaste for authentic, delicious Indian food. Orlando was super responsive, check-in was smooth, and everything about the stay was easy. We would 100% stay here again.

We had a truly wonderful stay in this villa in Costa Rica. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, but the real highlight is the breathtaking view over the Pacific Ocean — absolutely unforgettable. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunsets from the villa was magical. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We loved this beautiful place! The sunsets are amazing there. The concierge also helped us book the tour in the national park, which was very helpful. We could even watch macaws from our terrace. We really enjoyed it there and would be happy to come back.

Everything about the villa is BEAUTIFUL. The view from the balcony, living room, and both bedrooms is a dream. Our concierge, Orlando, was so helpful, responsive, and kind. This was a birthday trip and it was nice to have a local person be able to recommend and book tours, restaurants, rides to and from San Jose etc. I would come here once a year if I could (maybe I will). Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and everything you need in the kitchen. 10/10!

We wished we stayed longer! The balcony and views alone make sit worth it. It’s not an easy walk (not really a sidewalk) to the town but it’s a very short car ride. We enjoyed getting up a little into the hills so we can enjoy morning and evening views and be surrounding by trees. Everything went smoothly and host can help you with anything.

Amazing place to stay if you’re visiting San Manuel for a couple of days, I would definitely recommend to anybody who’s thinking of traveling here for the first time.

The place is unreal, it's beautiful, it looks just like in the photos, only the jacuzzi is very small, I imagined it to be bigger, there are very nice views from the moment you arrive at the parking lot as well as on the balcony, it has mini split in all the rooms and wifi, Orlando who was our manager was super friendly and attentive and gave us good recommendations for lunch and dinner, highly recommended

You will get the best view

We had a great time. The view of the sea is unique and we could watch parrots in the trees. Orlando was very friendly & easily accessible. It was worth the money to us, we would have liked to have stayed longer.

The place is wonderful! Spectacular views, very clean, and well appointed. Our host, Orlando, was incredibly nice and helpful in providing beach club and restaurant recommendations even making reservations for us. Only negative would be the macaws screeching wake up call at 530am right outside! Such is life!
