Everything was fine! A bit dusty, but that's normal for a place like this. It needs to be specified that not all rooms have a bathroom.

I had a super nice birthday, Mrs. Anita was a sweetheart, she helped me make my birthday dinner and she was also very nice, she helped my friends decorate part of the room. Thank you for all the attention. All my friends loved the hacienda, a great experience. Thank you Diego!

The hacienda is very nice, it has many magical places, we took beautiful photos. The only thing is that it needs a bit of maintenance, due to its age. We had a great time and were very comfortable as there are many rooms and beds. Diego was always very helpful in communication and Mrs. Anita, who is in charge, was very helpful with what was offered to us. Overall it was a very good experience

It's an almost magical place, fantastic in every way. The spaces, the equipment and the atmosphere of the place, allow you to enjoy in a way that cannot be expressed in words. I highly recommend this place. Mrs. Anita, who is in charge of the beautiful hacienda and responsible for welcoming guests, is such a kind and willing person that she makes you want to return very soon.

The hacienda's center is beautiful and very well located in the Tequisquiapan area of the wine and cheese route. It's a privilege to have a historic hacienda for a while. The kitchen is old, but once you understand it, it has everything you need for your stay. Anita takes good care of the guests. The bad thing. Three of the rooms are not minimally restored, so you really have to consider that there are 5 rooms available. One of those five has a bathroom that needs restoration. The mattresses are hard and the towels are a bit old. It's a shame because for just a little money they could improve the experience a lot. Very nice as an experience, but it does require work. It is a place that will appeal to people looking for something different and places with personality. It's not a place for someone looking for an immaculate five-star experience.

A very special place, the opportunity to stay and sleep in an 18th century hacienda is unique. It has many spaces to take photos, rest, get to know each other and relax. It's also very close to the wine route. My husband, my pets and I had a great time. Anita welcomed us in the most cheerful and kind way

Excellent place, from the moment you arrive and see it you fall in love; once you enter your world changes, it's going back to the past and being in a place of peace, 100% recommended and we would definitely go back there.

You have a beautiful hacienda where you can see history at all times , if you want to have a nice time with your pets it is an excellent place, away from the hustle and bustle of everything makes you get out of the routine... we spent nice days at the hacienda and also the attention and speed of response is very good! We had the best time

A very spacious place, full of history and really transport you to the 1800s... the comfortable rooms and the beds even more, it is not as preserved as in the photos (the grass at the back was without maintenance, so the gardens also look a little neglected) some details to take care of as the stairs and a door that overlooks a flight and is half risky if you go with children, otherwise the place is very nice, it needs some maintenance but in general it is comfortable, spacious, pleasant and quiet

We had a very good stay at the home. The spaces to live with family, or with groups of friends, are spacious. The hacienda is just as you can see in the photos, very spacious and with enough bedrooms. In the same way, Ale's attention was very good, as was the food. We had a detail with the water temperature in 1 day, however Diego took care of it properly and fixed it.

Staying in the hacienda is an unforgettable experience! It is the most unique, historic airbnb imaginable. The hacienda is 300 years old and a work in progress. The main quarters, living area and kitchen are set up for guests. The rest of the complex is in original condition and is an adventure to explore! We got a glimpse of the beautiful chapel, the old ovens and original "facilities." The sleeping and living areas for guests are spacious and comfortable, with large bathrooms and excellent showers. The finishes and decor maintain the authentic ambience, with modern, comfortable beds and adequate linens, towels and bath supplies. Alejandra is such a helpful and friendly person. She will show you around, answer all of your questions, make any adjustment to rooms as necessary, and can help to arrange or recommend meals locally. Diego provided excellent communication and availability. Tequisquiapan and Bernal are classic, charming colonial towns well worth visiting.

Diego's attention was very good, I was very quick to answer my questions and I was looking for a way to always help. Ale the girl that supports the house is of the most beautiful and helpful, super grateful to her. The house is an experience, it is very large and being a hacienda you can find that house is very old but nothing uncomfortable, it is part of the charm. Tequisquiapan is a 10-minute drive and Peña de Bernal is also nearby. I am very happy with the stay, I only recommend that within the budget you consider the tip that can be given to Ale, since it is an extra expense that is paid for the house.

The moment you arrive at the Hacienda you feel transported to the 1800s. The essence of the place remains in such great conditions. This is the perfect place to recharge and spend quality time with your loved ones. I plan to stay in this place again. Diego was an amazing host he would make sure we were taken care of Alejandra's cooking is amazing and was always very attentive.

If they like history, the old without luxury or technology and far from the noise of the city, this stay is perfect. Classic furniture and facilities, a beautiful former hacienda and Diego's (host) service is very good. Anita, the lady who serves and cooks, is the best. The facilities are a little neglected, but everything is still beautiful. The location removed from the tequis center and there is nothing close to eating but Anita gets them everything. We'll definitely be back :)

Since the reservation was made Diego was attentive to every detail, from the reception and the departure with Anita everything was also very good, very attentive. It is a nice experience to stay at the Hacienda, you get out of the ordinary and apart from that it has a very good location to do another activity or buy things that are needed. I would definitely come back

The former tax office is an extraordinary place to stay with a group. It's very beautiful, the garden is huge. The rooms are comfortable and very spacious. The common areas, in addition to being beautiful, are perfect for spending time with family. One of the best things about the place, without a doubt, is Ana's service; pleasant, helpful and delicious cooking. I highly recommend this place.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay at the Hacienda. To start, the communication with Diego prior to my stay was phenominal; I never waited longer than 1 hr for a response. Entering the Hacienda we were greeted by Anna and the friendliest dog on earth, Laika!!! Pictures do not give this place justice. Each room is tastefuly furnished to the early Mexican 1800's. Each room has high vaulted ceilings making them feel extremely spacious. The kitchen and dinning area are also tastefuly furnished, and transport you back in time. Breakfast was included with our stay...the Chilaquiles were delicious!!! Anna, the hacienda keeper was simply a breath of fresh air. She was extremly helful providing us suggestions of catering Tacos (which were also AMAZING), and over all helpful throughout our stay. I couldn't have chosen a better place to have my birthday party and gather my family. Everyone was plesantly surprised by the beauty and hospitality of this Hacienda. This place, by far, exceeded my expectations. THANK YOU for allowing me to make amazing memories!!!!!

the place is amazing although it lacks a lot of maintenance but I think it has its charm, the communication with the host is fluid and fast. The place is Pet friendly. If they take their pets, they ask to take the black dog out, although it is friendly, it has fleas.

Excellent stay, I definitely will be back in the future. My family had a blast exploring the old house. It is located at 15 min from Tequisquiapan and 45 from Pena de Bernal. Anita was very nice and cooked delicious meals for me and my family. Highly recommended if you are looking for a whole house for yourself and at the same time hotel like amenities.

It is a nice experience, due to the antiquity and history that the hacienda represents, albeit with many wear and tear due to the age of the building. Very large and with a lot of spaces for coexistence. Diego's service is excellent. The breakfast is very delicious and the service from the staff impeccable.

Great place to stay with the family, good communication and host was always taking care of the reservation to make it a good experience. The place is close to Tequisquiapan, Queretaro, Mexico where the national and famous cheese and wine fair takes place, so, you can plan a stay accordingly. The bedrooms were fantastic, every one with its personal bathroom and very clean. You can find experienced people close the the place to prepare typical Mexican food inside.

Amazing stay! What an experience to stay in a place that dates back to 1800!!! The Hacienda was completely available to us, Diego's service and attention were excellent! I would only improve the decoration of the rooms. It is 10 minutes from the village of Tequis. I really recommend staying there. I'd come back.

It's a very nice hacienda, but it needs a lot of maintenance. It really is an adventure. All the furniture is very old and the walls are falling apart. The spaces are very nice for family living. The service from those who take care of the place and from the host is very good. And it lacks signage to get there.

La Hacienda is a spectacular place full of spaces that invite family-friendly coexistence ideal for a memorable and relaxing weekend. Excellent location to visit Tequisquiapan and the nearby vineyards. However, the facilities, being so old, are not in the best condition due to lack of maintenance.

Diego is a great host. Available at all times and very helpful during our stay. Anita, the person who takes care of the house, is a sweetheart and her chilaquiles are delicious. Near the hacienda there are vineyards, artisan cheese wineries and it's very close to Mexico City. Great place!

Amazing place, very different, unique and special. Completely faithful to the photographs and surpasses it in reality. You rarely have access to an 1800 hacienda just for you and your companions. Cristobal and Anita, the gentlemen who take care of the house, are the best. Cristobal makes the best wood-fired roasts right there. Diego, the host, has immediate communication and is very attentive all the time. Highly recommended, I hope to return soon!
