This place was beautiful and at an excellent location. We had a great time. Host was responsive and friendly. There are some things that can be done to improve the overall experience. 1. Showers were old and corroded and hot water was not consistent. Sometimes the shower will stop in the middle of taking bath if many people use it simultaneously. 2. The room furniture was old with squeaky drawers and door panels 3. The utensils were old and dirty, including cheap plastic glasses that should have been long discarded. The cutlery and crockery needs a revamp. These suggestions will greatly improve the quality of the stay and experience at this property.

So spacious, host was very responsive to getting us fresh water tanks and more towels whenever we asked. Pool had a great smaller area for little kids - perfect for our 2 and 4 year olds, and a long stretch that was great for lap swimming. Upstairs balcony was beautiful. Only thing to know, the beach is a surfers beach and not suitable for swimming or playing near the edge, but the pool more than sufficed for our crew of kids.

Excellent place for family reunions or large parties. We felt at home, loved the black sand beach, so cool to see surfers, and we’re close to adventure, parks, and Eco tourism sites

We just wrapped up a fantastic week here with a group of 14 friends and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The property had more than enough space for our group. The location is outstanding, with restaurants, bars, and shops all within easy walking distance, either along the beach or via the sidewalk-lined street. We spent most of our time in the first-floor common area by the pool, which was perfect for gathering everyone together. Having two kitchens and three refrigerators made hosting a large group effortless. Willy and the staff were absolutely exceptional. They were responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the week. Every excursion they helped arrange exceeded our expectations. We even hired a chef for three of our nights and the food was wonderful The pool area is truly the highlight of the property. The views overlooking the beach and palm trees are stunning, and it became our favorite place to relax, socialize, and enjoy the sunset

This is the best place in Hermosa by far! The house is unbelievable, location is perfect and the hosts were very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Incredible! We had 23 people ranging from 1-80 years old and it was perfect for everyone. Wilbur and the rest of the staff was over-the-top helpful (and very patient with two high-maintenance family members!!) Each room had great AC and comfortable beds. The common area was great with several kitchens and easy-access refrigerators. The pool was amazing!! So much seating around the pool made it perfect for everyone. The beach was great right next to the pool which made it so easy. The waves were too rough for us to play in, but the beach was great to play on! The location is perfect…within walking distance to amazing restaurants and a few little markets. 5ish minute drive to big grocery store and lots of shopping. We will definitely be back!!

The host Julie and Willy were very accommodating and provided my group with all the necessaries with our stay. He was very knowledgeable and provided extra support when needed. Also the security team was extremely helpful and supportive

Julie, the owner and our wedding planner, did an outstanding job. She made the entire process seamless and stress-free, and our wedding turned out better than we could have imagined. Updated photos would be good as no Blackstone but a smaller gas grill was available. 3 stoves 5 fridge w/freezers and 4 microwaves were there to use. Some of the pots and pans could use any update but still able to cook a meal for 17 people . High praises for Orlando, Wilbur, April and Juan as well as housekeeping. They were amazing, so very helpful and always friendly. We always had clean pool towels and the pool was a hit with all 17 of us! Coffee each morning, at 5:30 am so you can watch sunrise and enjoy the sounds of the waves. The kids loved the pool which Orlando had cleaned and ready daily by 7 am! The pool table was a hit and being in a room with air a bathroom and fridge was so convenient. A bigger table in there would be nice to play games. We rented the entire beach house for 10 nights, no one wanted to go home. Seating outside on the 3rd fl balcony but sadly none of the sliders opened. You couldn’t be any closer to the water, it’s amazing! I would recommend

Our stay at Hermosa Beach House was absolutely incredible! Truly a trip our family will remember forever. From the very beginning, even before we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything special for us. Julie, Wilber, Abril, Orlando, Dixon, and Juan were all AMAZING. Every single one of them took initiative to ensure our stay was seamless, comfortable and memorable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for our family made all the difference. This was the most amazing experience my group of 18 could have wished for! The house was incredible, the location was beautiful, and there were great food options and vacation experiences nearby. The hosts and other staff (especially Wilbur, Abril, Juan, and Orlando) were all SO kind and helpful. //It was an amazing experience. I had a group of 18, and it was perfect. The house and the small house are close to a hotel. When I had questions or needed help with transportation or aspects of the house, Wilbur, Abril, Juan, and Orlando were very helpful. We liked the large pool and the beach. And there are plenty of excellent dining options near the house.

The staff, owner, and chef were superior people!

We found areas where maintenance and upkeep was lacking. The pool was losing tiles so the little children cut their feet on the loose tiles. The ceiling falling in could have been a real issue if one of the kids were sleeping or in the room. I was told they had fixed an air conditioner above that bedroom but it had continued to leak. We could have easily moved them to another room.

Book it NOW, it’s absolute paradise! This was seriously the perfect spot for our big family get-together. The home was beautiful, clean, and perfectly set up for a large group. There is enough shared space while also maintaining privacy for everyone. The giant pool was a hit with all the kids. Every worker we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!

the location is really perfect. Not only is it right on the beach, but it has several restaurants within walking distance. It has decent pizza close by. It has pretty good empanadas that you can walk to. It has a really great Sushi restaurant you can walk to. It has a Texas BBQ place that we didnt try....because we eat BBQ alot, and we're from Texas. The pool is great and the beach is simply gorgeous. Our host, Wilber, was first class....but his daughter, Abril, was great as well. Juan was another one of the guys who worked as a host, and he is super helpful. Orlando works the pool and he was always super nice and helpful. Our chefs were great. We had a chef for breakfast alomost every morning, as well as several night meals. the boutique hotel is nice and accomodating...plenty of AC if that's what you like. You dont spend anytiime inside, so it wasn't that relevant to us. We would/will take a large group back. Julie, the owner was also very helpful on the front end

Absolutely amazing house and location. The beach is just steps away and every night we were treated with spectacular sunsets. The house is large, clean, and beautiful. The pool was clean and warm, the washer/ dryer worked well. The host and hotel staff (right next door) were welcoming and so helpful! We did 2 nights of chef dinners and had massages for our whole group. It was all perfect!!

We stayed at Hermosa Beach House for our wedding and had an incredible time. Julie and her team made us feel right at home, helped with any questions we had, and went above and beyond to make our wedding feel like a fairytale. To say our wedding was perfect would be an understatement; we can’t put into words how much we appreciate the effort she put into making our special day incredible. All 26 of our guests enjoyed themselves, and said they would love to come back one day. We can’t recommend Julie and her properties enough!

I recently had the pleasure of staying here with a large group of 25 people, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The hosts were exceptionally great incredibly attentive and easy to communicate with, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything making us all feel at home.

This Airbnb is absolutely stunning, the location and concierge service was impeccable and they catered to our every need! A+ service and everything was exactly as described. Great to wake up to beautiful ocean views and sounds of nature, but please be very mindful of the rip currents in playa hermosa, they are extremely strong and dangerous. This is a surfing in the water beach only, would not recommend swimming. Overall great stay at Hermosa Beach House!

Amazing place, stayed here with 19 people, plenty of space for all. Big pool and right on the beach (though the ocean right in front has rip tides so careful). Full time staff are on-site around the clock, cleaners every day and security at night, and they can help you book things. Daytime staff speak English. They can do laundry for you $5/load. They also offer to make you dinner and breakfast for groups of any size which is a great deal and delicious. Walkable to places for empanadas, alcohol, pizza, açaí bowls. Surfing and great beaches 10min drive. First floor rooms are less ideal than 2nd/3rd floor so consider that if booking for 20+ people. Host very responsive before and during stay. Would stay here again.

Playa Hermosa beach house is hands down the best place I’ve rented! We had our wedding here and couldn’t have chosen a better place. Julie and her staff were beyond helpful and super friendly! Julie helped with everything from transportation to wedding vendors, set up and break down. She truly made it a breeze for me. I was able to enjoy and relax the weekend and my big day. The location is absolutely beautiful. The black sand beaches and palms trees and pool are to die for! Julie thank you so much for having my friends and family we had the best time 💕

wow! What an amazing stay! We had a group of 28 people and everyone loved it. The pool was enormous, the house had plenty of room for everyone, and we utilized the outdoor kitchen area everyday. The staff at the hotel are friendly and very helpful. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the restaurants a walk down from the house are great. If you are considering booking, do it!

it was great stay this place. The staff was always willing to help out. Juan was great guy and always willing to help out. We had a good time in pool and the beach is just there. Few recommendations I think they can improve on would be fencing the place avoid Trespassers. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and I will return here.

Beautiful home the location is great right on the beach but peaceful and private away from the hustle and bustle. There are also a few beach bars and restaurants within walking distance. Everyone working the desk was super helpful assisting us with any and every need and question. Plenty of space our group of 16 all had their own beds.

Hermosa is a slice of heaven on a beautiful black sand beach with a host, Julie, who will accommodate your every wish. We indulged and hired the chef for almost every meal and with a group of 12 it wasn’t easy yet everyone was happy with the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hermosa and would recommend it to everyone!!

First time to Costa Rica. What a find! Great house for our 12 family members the first week. Second week was for our fishing friends. The pool is LONG! I swam laps every morning. There was plenty of space for folks to spread out. The game room was used daily for the table games. We had movie nights in the media room. Just walk outside the gate onto the beach. Walk down the beach to the restaurants . The balcony up stairs facing the ocean was perfect for morning coffee. Clean and comfortable. ALL staff did everything to make our stay the BEST!

Julie was the best host. The house was amazing for our group of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids). Julie catered dinner for us two nights. The food was delicious, we would recommend other guests take advantage. Julie owns the small hotel next door and she and her team (Juan and Wilbur) were extremely responsive, kind and gave us great recommendations. Beach and pool were fantastic, the kids loved the game room upstairs. Location was great. We drove to Manuel Antonio park one morning and it was an easy drive.

I can't stress enough how beautiful this place is, what a great host Julie and the staff was during our stay. We stayed here for 4 stays and had our wedding here. The property is PERFECT. Rooms are beautiful. The amenities are to die for. You have the beach right in front of you. The pool is ENORMOUS, you could easily fit 30 people there with still lots of empty space to be all comfortable. The mini-bar with a pool table and big size TV with cable. The outside dining areas, grill, etc. The location is great. Jacó is close if you want to go party, but far enough if you want to enjoy some quiet peaceful time. Mini-markets and restaurants of all kinds are in walking distance. Julie was our Wedding Planner and WOW. She went all-in and beyond to make sure we had the time of our lives. She knows everyone around and outside of town to get everything you need if you were to have an event here. Thank you Julie, you are the BEST and we owe our perfect wedding to you. PURA VIDA <3.

This property is incredible. Whether islets a family or a group of friends, Hermosa Beach House Villa is the spot. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool and beach access is second to none. And the game rooms is perfect when you need some downtime from the Costa Rican adventures during the day. And the view is spectacular! Highly recommend and will plan to stay next I’m in Hermosa

We were a large group of 22 ppl visiting costa rica for the first time. We were nervous of how things would be, but Julie, Juan and team were very helpful in guiding us and for making our trip memorable. Julie, the host was incredible, from start to finish she helped us with all our needs. From setting up and booking excursions to making sure we had what we needed at the house, it was a pleasure. Whatever we needed she was there with her employees to make it happen. She made everything so simple, all we had to do was show up. I planned a bachelor party for 16. I was worried because the place seemed too good to be true. As soon as we arrived, my worries vanished, and Julie, Wilber Juan and the rest of the staff exceeded all of our vey high expectations. Everything was honestly perfect. Everything blew away our already high expectations. I had the most amazing feedback from my friends. Hermosa was the perfect blend of secluded yet near things. Around the corner was a store that had all of the essentials, including beer, liquor, sun screen and flip flops. Down the beach was three amazing restaurants on the beach. We watched world class surfing from them, and from our beautiful back yard, which had some yard, some shade from trees, and wild and wonderful pacific ocean, where the sun set every evening. We had everything we needed, including privacy and security. We did the Isla Tortuga excusrion which was great. Thank you so much for having us! I can't recommend this place enough. Pura vida!

Where to begin, this place is incredible… I came with a large group with the best buds of mine and it was legit the greatest experience we could’ve imagined. Julie and her team were always there along the way, helpful, resourceful, and the best people all around. Our group opted for a breakfast every morning by her team, and 10/10 was it better than expected. Local cuisine and delicious! We did a few excursions that they were able to guide us to with information. If we needed a ride that was also arranged. The beach house, I can’t even begin to describe. The access to the beach, the pool, the upstairs view, the list goes on. You will not be so happy you picked this place, this was one of the best trips of my time here. Thank you Julie and team! We brought our mission team here for a 3 day break after serving. It was way above our expectations! We felt safe and comfortable. The staff was very responsive to any needs and made great recommendations. I hope we get to enjoy this stay again in the future!

Great location! Being on the beach with a large pool was wonderful! The pool had a shallow side that was perfect for our 2 year old grandson to play in. The beach here is more for advanced surfers most days, but it was fun to watch them and wonderful being near the water! There are several restaurants within walking distance. Julie and her son were very helpful, responsive and attentive. They had groceries waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived because we were getting in so late at night. They set us up with some great excursions too! I would highly recommend the monkey mangrove tour they set up for us! The place was spacious enough for 14 family members to be comfortable. It was just an easy place to call home base for the week.

This beachfront house was absolutely incredible! We had the perfect getaway for fun vacation with friends. The location is unbeatable - just steps from the beach with stunning ocean views. We spent countless hours relaxing on the beach, swimming in the crystal-clear water, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The house itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The beachfront and pool was perfect for all of us to relaxing and fun filled vacation. The highlight, of course, was the sparkling pool! We spent many afternoons/nights cooling off in the pool and soaking up the sun. Overall, we had an amazing stay at this beachfront house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beach vacation.

Julie and her staff were so wonderful! We spent 4 nights in Playa Hermosa and loved every moment of our stay. The sunsets and sunrises right on the beach were spectacular, and Julie and her staff were so incredibly responsive and helpful both prior and during our stay! We spent a lot of time relaxing in the pool as well, and enjoying the sun. Julie kindly helped with setting up transfers for us, as well as a last minute tour that we loved! Do not hesitate to book this beautiful villa, you will not regret it and will have memories to last a lifetime!!! Thank you again Julie, my family and I loved our time in Playa Hermosa!

This house was far more wonderful than we expected from the pictures, which really don't do it justice. Our large family group of 9 had PLENTY of space, a wonderful round table where we could all sit together for meals when we wanted, and an expansive view of the ocean from the whole main living area. The large upstairs game room has a ping pong table, a pool table AND a foosball table that kept the kids fully entertained, in addition to the large and wonderful pool outside where they could swim and play. The air conditioning was great. The hosts were very responsive to any needs that we expressed. Our experience staying in this home really surpassed our expectations.

Hermosa Beach House was an amazing find for us. We had a large group of guys here for the week and found the residence to go beyond are expectations. The host was super communicative and helpful with information about the surrounding area. The house itself had an amazing view, beachfront access, and lots of restaurants within walking distance along the beach or the road. The area this house is in felt much safer than being directly in Jaco, but was only a 10 min drive ($4-$8 Uber into the surf town). Highly recommend this place to anyone with a big group that loves to be outside by the pool and the beach while exploring the Costa Rican coast.

Our stay at Playa Hermosa was amazing. Julie and her team were great. She had so many great recommendations for restaurants, excursions, bars and activities. She coordinated our airport transfers, and even setup several in-home cooked meals during our stay. The food was delicious! The location is perfect- right on the water, and next to great laid back restaurants, including Vida Hermosa. Thanks for everything Julie.

We spent three days as a family… Amazing, a location literally by the beach! I had never rented a house where we go out, and we have our toes in the sand it's pretty fantastic. The pool is excellent, long and well maintained. The house is large and well-equipped, with a large games room on the first floor, and nice beach views. The house is glued to a small hotel, making small everyday topics, very easy to manage. Great responsiveness. Less than 100 m on the beach, there are a few nice restaurants.

Great place for 15+ people, Hotel staff is great!

This house is incredible! We came down for 5 days for my bachelor party and made it a surf trip as well with 1/2 the guys as surfers. The house is set up so beautifully and has a great layout for watching our friends surf or just lounging downstairs in the air conditioning. Half the group did not surf so we loved the walkability to all the beach bars and restaurants. PROS: -Host Julie is 10/10. She accommodated early & late check-ins, communicated well, connected us with massages & a chef and transport -the house is big, nice and unique with a super cool game room upstairs -loved the location and walkability to local restaurants -the hotel next to the property has staff that can do anything/any service you need with long office hours -hotel manager Wilbur was extremely helpful CONS: -the house is old and something’s broke easily like toilets and shower handles (Staff was quick to help when mentioned) 10/10 stay I highly recommend! Julie is the best Airbnb host I’ve had hands down!

Book! You won’t regret it. Hermosa beach house is beautiful with all the amenities you’ll need and very spacious. We were a group of 14 and never felt crowded. We found the perfect little restaurant within a 3 minute walk down the beach. Vida Hermosa, try it! I can’t say enough good things about Julie, her son Jake and even all her employees. They were all just the best, Julie helped us with everything from transportation, booking activities and even helped us order food delivery when we needed it. Their hotel being right beside the house made communication so easy. You can literally walk right next door if you need anything. The house, the people, the little town, everything was perfect. Thank you Julie for making our Costa Rica trip one to remember!

Beachfront house with great pool (divided with a small children's area). Spacious, has a spacious living and playroom on second floor. More than 14 people could perfectly accommodate more than 14 people Julie, the host, was always attentive, and when we had an inconvenience with the dishwasher, she made sure to send someone to fix it right away. 100% recommended

My stay in Playa Hermosa could not have been better. Julie was highly responsive and always very helpful, and her superb communication relieved a lot of stress both in preparing for the trip and for the logistics of arriving once we were in the country. Before going, she answered many questions every day, which helped us plan and pack. Once we were in Costa Rica, she arranged a driver for us, which was easy and very helpful in finding the house. The house itself was even more beautiful than the pictures. The location was perfect- right next to the beach and surrounded by a few fantastic bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Furthermore, it was a short drive (around 10 minutes) to get into Jaco, which was huge. It felt private and serene while still feeling involved in local culture and close to many activities. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Playa Hermosa! Thanks again, Julie!

Our group of 10 really enjoyed our stay at this property. The villa is spacious and is stacked with things you would expect at a rental property. Location is excellent, steps away from beach and local restaurants. The staff at HBH was very friendly and professional. Julie was extremely helpful in organizing food/activities/transportation for our group and made sure our stay was super comfortable. Highly recommended!!!

Julie and her family were amazing hosts. They own the boutique hotel next door and were always available to our needs. The attention we received exceeded our expectations. Julie’s team also deserves a mention because they were all so helpful (Ivan, Jason, Will, Hilda and the security). Ivan, Julie and Jason helped us book some of our activities and all of our transportation - including from/to airport. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We were a large group and it accommodated us comfortably. The four bedrooms in the main house are on the bottom floor and the “casita” is only steps away from the front door entrance. The house is beach front on the black sand beach and the morning views were amazing. There are plenty of options for food within walking distance as well as a mini market. Julie was kind enough to order pizza for us on two occasions and it was delivered from the restaurant down the road. We had a wonderful experience at the Playa Hermosa Beach House and would highly recommend!

Right on the black sand beach, the house accommodated our family and was a great location for all the sights we wanted to explore in this area of Costa Rica. Loved the individual AC units in each bedroom to make your sleeping enjoyable. Hosts are very responsive and made every effort to make our visit a pleasant one.

House is a lot bigger than what pictures show. Pool is also massive. Beach is pretty rough but great sunsets. It’s about a 10 minute drive or less to Jaco main strip. About 2 hours from San Jose Airport. There is security on premises and are very helpful. Directions to property not precise. Would clarify that with host before arriving.

Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb more, 12/10! It combines the best of Airbnb with the amenities of a hotel. This is due in large part to the thought and care host Julie puts into her guests stay. Julie is not only the host of the Airbnb but she is an excellent travel planner. We communicated multiple times before our trip and she helped book shuttles to and from Jaco, helped us book a day trip to Tortuga island with transport included, meals, COVID tests to return to the US, and pretty much anything else we needed she could've helped book. Julie owns the hotel next door, Hermosa Beach House and knows the local town very well. The wait staff from her hotel came and cooked us breakfast each morning (3x) and we also had them cook us two dinners, Julie helped with these logistics. It couldn’t have been more seamless. The prices were extremely reasonable per person, and there was ultimate flexibility into timing of the meals and what was served. All the food was delicious, I'd recommend taking Julie up on the offer to have food served at the house. The food is made at the hotel next door and brought over family style nice and hot. We eat all our meals at the large wooden outdoor table by the pool overlooking the ocean. The house itself is an excellent location! A ~90 minute drive from the San Hose Airport and you are at the beach. Quite literally the Airbnb is right on a beautiful black sand beach. You can walk down the beach to restaurants, bars, and local bodegas. For more options Jaco is a 5-10 minute drive north. There is a beautiful pool on the property, a guest house with two queen beds, an upstairs game room with a pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, sectional couch and tv, and bunk bed. There are 4 queens, 3 kings, and two bunk beds, and multiple couches on the property. Tons of space. Great for a bachelor or bachelorette party, birthday party, any big group event. You won't be disappointed, we absolutely loved it!

Very good house, good location.

This is a wonderful spot. It's nicer than the pictures suggest (and they make it look pretty nice as is). The house is enormous-- we slept 11 between it and the guest house, and it could have fit many more and not felt crowded. Having a washer/dryer in-house was really helpful to let us pack light and wash clothes while there. They tended to the huge pool daily to our knowledge. The air conditioning is on point throughout the house. Communication with the owner before our trip was quick and informative. Once there, Ivan who manages the hotel next door as well, acts as your concierge. He's a native English speaker (if that's a concern), a super nice guy, can answer any question that might come up, and will get you setup with outings, private chefs, recommendations, you name it. The location is perfect. It's less than a 10 minute drive to Jaco. You're right on beautiful, lightly used Hermosa Beach. Our kids found the ocean to be a little scary with the undercurrents but during low tide it was fine for them. There are a couple walkable beachside restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again. The only (very minor) issues are low water pressure in the showers and sometimes at night you can hear iguanas running around the attic lol. That only lasts like 10 minutes and we heard it maybe half the nights of our stay. In a way, it's endearing.

A wonderful location. We were a group of 13 adults there was plenty of rooms and bathrooms. No one felt overcrowded and getting ready was a breeze. Staff was extremely responsive and assisted in booking excursions. We will definitely be back!

great beachfront location, good amenities and great spaces

This property is amazing. Large enough for large families and more. The pool is massive and the pool cleaning guy came every morning, I think. The black sand beach is very quiet. Not once did we have any problems with loud parties on the beach or at the hotel next door. With that said, there were parties aplenty in Jaco and an uber ride for 4 people to Jaco is less than 4 bucks each way. There is a supermarket named Maxi Pali(It's like a Super-ish Walmart only a couple of miles a way to get all supplies needed for the house. The 4 master bedrooms, the Kitchen/livingroom, the TV room and the area upstairs all have individually controlled Split AC/heating units, so you can control the temperature in your space without affecting other guest in the house. I only have 2 negatives about the property. (1) The water/hot water pressure was very weak. Taking 2 showers at once will render one of the shower heads to almost no flow. We worked around it with little problems though. (2) Iguanas. There are large 1 meter iguanas around the property. They did not bother or approach us and we did not bother them. Matter a fact, they were nice to see around the property. The problem were that they spent most of their time on the roof trying to get some sun as they are cold blooded animals. Their long claws and the clay tiles were very loud in the house and when they started moving early in the morning, it would scare us as the large house would echo this sound and we thought there was something in the house. Just to be clear, we found no animals in the house, but the iguanas on the roof did startle us a few times. Bottom line, I would definitely rent this property again. We enjoyed the game room upstairs, the ocean only a few steps away and the large pool and sitting area. Perfect spot for a large group to gather this is off the tourist path, but close enough to activities that we could go whenever we please. Note to the owners. We were skeptical about renting this property due to the lack of pictures. Do yourself a favorite, and take better photo's of the gaming room and dining room and pool and the black sand beach. The photo's that you have does not do the property justice. Also, for the first few days, we were trying to see macaws. We would occasionally see them fly over the house, but we could never get a picture. On day 4, we hit the beach and went for a walk to the right. About 3/4 of the way down to the large boulders off the beach and in the ocean, there are a group of what I think were almond trees and the macaws were there in groves. I'm not sure if they are always there but that's were we found them on multiple days.

The villa in Playa Hermosa was fantastic! It sits right on the beach, is extremely large and spacious, with large bedrooms each containing their own baths. It includes a new theater on the main floor, and a nice tv area with pool table on the second level. There is a very large pool and patio area (including an outdoor bathroom, grilling area, etc.), and then a large second floor deck to watch the sunsets! Julie was extremely responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend the beach villa for anyone looking to stay in the Playa Hermosa / Jaco area!

Our stay at Hermosa Beach house was fantastic. The place is top notch with great facilities for relaxing and entertainment. Right in front of a surfer’s beach with all sorts of places close by for shopping, dining and going out. Thanks to Julie and Jay for everything.

This was an amazing stay. Right on the beach and secluded from any noise. House is beautiful and to top it, Host was amazing. She was always available for any help needed and was seconds away. 5 star for every category.
