This place was beautiful and at an excellent location. We had a great time. Host was responsive and friendly. There are some things that can be done to improve the overall experience. 1. Showers were old and corroded and hot water was not consistent. Sometimes the shower will stop in the middle of taking bath if many people use it simultaneously. 2. The room furniture was old with squeaky drawers and door panels 3. The utensils were old and dirty, including cheap plastic glasses that should have been long discarded. The cutlery and crockery needs a revamp. These suggestions will greatly improve the quality of the stay and experience at this property.

So spacious, host was very responsive to getting us fresh water tanks and more towels whenever we asked. Pool had a great smaller area for little kids - perfect for our 2 and 4 year olds, and a long stretch that was great for lap swimming. Upstairs balcony was beautiful. Only thing to know, the beach is a surfers beach and not suitable for swimming or playing near the edge, but the pool more than sufficed for our crew of kids.

Excellent place for family reunions or large parties. We felt at home, loved the black sand beach, so cool to see surfers, and we’re close to adventure, parks, and Eco tourism sites

We just wrapped up a fantastic week here with a group of 14 friends and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The property had more than enough space for our group. The location is outstanding, with restaurants, bars, and shops all within easy walking distance, either along the beach or via the sidewalk-lined street. We spent most of our time in the first-floor common area by the pool, which was perfect for gathering everyone together. Having two kitchens and three refrigerators made hosting a large group effortless. Willy and the staff were absolutely exceptional. They were responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the week. Every excursion they helped arrange exceeded our expectations. We even hired a chef for three of our nights and the food was wonderful The pool area is truly the highlight of the property. The views overlooking the beach and palm trees are stunning, and it became our favorite place to relax, socialize, and enjoy the sunset

This is the best place in Hermosa by far! The house is unbelievable, location is perfect and the hosts were very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Incredible! We had 23 people ranging from 1-80 years old and it was perfect for everyone. Wilbur and the rest of the staff was over-the-top helpful (and very patient with two high-maintenance family members!!) Each room had great AC and comfortable beds. The common area was great with several kitchens and easy-access refrigerators. The pool was amazing!! So much seating around the pool made it perfect for everyone. The beach was great right next to the pool which made it so easy. The waves were too rough for us to play in, but the beach was great to play on! The location is perfect…within walking distance to amazing restaurants and a few little markets. 5ish minute drive to big grocery store and lots of shopping. We will definitely be back!!

The host Julie and Willy were very accommodating and provided my group with all the necessaries with our stay. He was very knowledgeable and provided extra support when needed. Also the security team was extremely helpful and supportive

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Hermosa Beach House in Costa Rica. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Julie, the owner and our wedding planner, did an outstanding job. She made the entire process seamless and stress-free, and our wedding turned out better than we could have imagined. Her attention to detail and care truly made the experience unforgettable. Wilbert and Juan were also amazing throughout our stay. They were always available to help with anything we needed—whether it was coordinating adventures, transportation, or just making sure our group was taken care of. Their hospitality really stood out. The entire staff deserves recognition as well—the security team, housekeeping, and cooks were all fantastic. Updated photos would be good as no Blackstone but a smaller gas grill was available. 3 stoves 5 fridge w/freezers and 4 microwaves were there to use. Some of the pots and pans could use any update but still able to cook a meal for 17 people . High praises for Orlando, Wilbur, April and Juan as well as housekeeping. They were amazing, so very helpful and always friendly. We always had clean pool towels and the pool was a hit with all 17 of us! Coffee each morning, at 5:30 am so you can watch sunrise and enjoy the sounds of the waves. The kids loved the pool which Orlando had cleaned and ready daily by 7 am! The pool table was a hit and being in a room with air a bathroom and fridge was so convenient. A bigger table in there would be nice to play games. We rented the entire beach house for 10 nights, no one wanted to go home. Seating outside on the 3rd fl balcony but sadly none of the sliders opened. You couldn’t be any closer to the water, it’s amazing! I would recommend

Our stay at Hermosa Beach House was absolutely incredible! Truly a trip our family will remember forever. From the very beginning, even before we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything special for us. Julie, Wilber, Abril, Orlando, Dixon, and Juan were all AMAZING. Every single one of them took initiative to ensure our stay was seamless, comfortable and memorable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for our family made all the difference. The home itself had more than enough room for both families (4 adults / 6 kids). The pool was a huge hit with our kids & the beach was nothing short of spectacular. What really stood out, though, was the level of service. It didn’t feel like just a place to stay it felt like a full experience created by people who truly car

This was the most amazing experience my group of 18 could have wished for! The house was incredible, the location was beautiful, and there were great food options and vacation experiences nearby. The hosts and other staff (especially Wilbur, Abril, Juan, and Orlando) were all SO kind and helpful. //It was an amazing experience. I had a group of 18, and it was perfect. The house and the small house are close to a hotel. When I had questions or needed help with transportation or aspects of the house, Wilbur, Abril, Juan, and Orlando were very helpful. We liked the large pool and the beach. And there are plenty of excellent dining options near the house.

The staff, owner, and chef were superior people!

We found areas where maintenance and upkeep was lacking. The pool was losing tiles so the little children cut their feet on the loose tiles. The ceiling falling in could have been a real issue if one of the kids were sleeping or in the room. I was told they had fixed an air conditioner above that bedroom but it had continued to leak. We could have easily moved them to another room.
