We had a wonderful time! The villa, and the location, are a little bit rustic but this suited us perfectly. The staff (Mabel, George, Samantha, Dottie) were fabulous-kind, helpful, unfailingly friendly, and full of local knowledge. Having the (also very rustic and low key) Reef House Resort next door is also a plus, making it easy to arrange scuba diving and also with a nice restaurant and bar. The remote location makes grocery shopping difficult so I highly recommend that you have Mabel grocery shop and cook meals for you. If you rent a car (we did), make sure you go to the correct dock (be in touch w Mabel)—we didn’t, and this caused a ~30 minute delay in pickup. A beautiful place, and I would love to go back again!

We absolutely loved our time here. The location is perfect for our planned activities - fishing, scuba diving and relaxing lazy afternoons reading on the patio. Coming home to Mabel’s cooking was an absolute treat after our days adventures.

We loved our stay. Jerri was a great host, so helpful, knowlegable and responsive. She gave us lots of recommendations and tour ideas and connections. Mabel and Sammie cooked us amazing meals which made the trip so special. We really enjoyed the snorkelling off the pier. About 200 yards away was the buoy for a dive site which we enjoyed swimming to and I recommend for advanced snorkellers. We liked taking the short boat ride to get to the airbnb and the little island it was on - off the beaten path and a great retreat. We were a group of six and stayed two nights and conveniently booked an extra room in Jerri's guest house across the path out back. The surrounding Oakridge area has a local authentic charm about it with homes on stilts and nearby seafood restaurants. It was our favorite place on the island.

Jerri and her helpers Mabel and George and Kirbie got us from the west end of the Island to the baot Taxi to the cottage seemlessly, and were kind enough to stop at the grocery store and wait for us. All Five Stars from us. Plenty quiet at night even with the little resort/bar/restaurant nearby. There is no room to go for a walk on the cay, and we knew that. You spend time here relaxing, cooking, and snorkeling. Great kitchen set up and utensils. We will return!!

Our stay was nothing short of fantastic, an incredibly unique way to see Roatan. Jerri provided tons of valuable info about the area and was always responsible. I cannot say enough about the hospitality of the locals in the area (visit the reef house next door!!), Mabel’s timely responses, recommendations, and accommodations to whatever we needed. In addition to everything else, George is absolutely AMAZING! George took us all over via boat to restaurants, bars, points of interest (snorkeling, mangroves) and was an absolute blast to be around! We loved our trip and would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

My family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. Ages 11,9,9. We had a great time. We ate breakfast over at the Reef house next door several mornings. My kids were able to play until late in the evening in the natural pool out front. Mabel and George were able to answer any questions we had. Great snorkeling right off the pier. Very quiet area.

The Ocean Breeze Villa is paradise for a Roatan vacation! The snorkeling in front of the house was absolutely amazing! The view is great. The beds are comfy. The AC in the bedrooms is great. A lovely spacious house for a larger party!

What a special place: relaxing , peaceful, authentic Roatan! Jerri's place allowed us to spread out as well as comfortably come together. Mabel and George made it easy for our family to just chill and enjoy ourselves - we didn't worry about grocery shopping, pharmacy errands, cooking, or booking tours. Despite the rustic setting, we found the WiFi to be reliable (as reliable as the power company - we had one brief outage). We enjoyed hot water when we wanted it. Every room had a working AC, and rooms got cool quickly. Beds were comfortable, sheets and towels were soft. From the deck, we could see large (!) parrot fish riding the waves. The reef is RIGHT THERE so don't forget your snorkel gear. The dive shop is next door. The turtle sanctuary is walking distance. We did not need a car here but we happened to have one and it was perfectly safe where they had us park it. Overall, we LOVED our stay at Ocean Breeze Villa!

We had an incredible stay at Ocean Breeze! Jerri was so informative, helpful, and responsive. George and Mabel made us feel like family and ensured we had everything we needed. Definitely have Mabel and Sami cook for you! We loved being able to walk right off the pier in front of the house and snorkel every day- the reef is fantastic. It was great having the Reefhouse right next door as well. The house is well stocked, laid out well, AC in the bedrooms is cool, and the view is stunning. Just for awareness, we are a large family and the extra bedrooms are in an apartment-style down a path behind the house. It is close by, but a couple of our kids had to sleep over there and that might not work for everyone. Also the house is 45 min at least from West Bay, but we actually preferred the location of the house to the more touristy side of the island. Everyone we met was so kind, we were well cared for, and we had a great mix of fun and relaxation. Thank you!

Ocean Breeze Villa is so roomy, comfortable and beautiful. The incredible reef was right outside the big wrap around deck. This place is so incredibly beautiful and relaxing. It was also really nice to have the Reef Club next door which always has a nice bar and restaurant. Also, Ocean Breeze has a wonderful caretaker George and Mabel who was available to cook some meals for us, all wonderful! Our family vacation was so great and ended too soon! We are already talking about when we can plan our next trip! I highly recommend Ocean Breeze Villa.

Our group had an incredible stay at this property, and we cannot recommend it enough. Ms. Mabel and her team went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless and enjoyable. They were not only attentive to our needs but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Ms. Mabel and the host were proactive in coordinating every detail of our stay and were quick to respond to any and all inquiries. It was clear that Jerri and Ms. Mabel have created a team that takes pride in their hospitality, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The food and services provided were outstanding. Even our pickiest eaters were well taken care of, and any special requests were met with ease. This isn’t a spot for those looking for a developed urban area, but if you’re seeking a warm and welcoming experience, this is the place. When we left, we felt like part of the Oak Ridge community, which is a testament to the incredible atmosphere Jerri, Ms. Mabel, and their team cultivate.

Amazing location with a beautiful view over the ocean with fantastic snorkelling right outside the house. The boat trip to the house was really nice. We were welcomed by Mabel and Sam who were cooking for us. They were the best, we loved their food and had them cook for us most nights. The house is well functioning, and super cute, it has AC in the bedrooms but not in the living room, which gets hot. We went on several trips during our stay both fishing and snorkelling, it was awesome. We would love to be back for an other visit. Thank you so much for Mabel for everything.

This home is PHENOMENAL!!! It’s quiet and private and stunning. I cannot wait to stay again. The crew she has is amazing. If you stay here YOU MUST DO TIKI TOURS ROATAN!! They can pick up from your house or boat dock and have a great day. We enjoyed reading books in the early morning while laying out. There is a little restaurant/ bar within walking distance and the food was great! Small island and would stay there 100 more times. George is THE BEST!!!! Mabel is so sweet! The crew just stands out above anyone. The views! The house set up- lovely!!!

I am not sure I even have the words to describe what a wonderful time we had. George, Mabel, and Dave were all very attentive to our needs and did what they could to make things easier for us. The house itself was an oasis from the world. the reef house was convenient next door. Hopefully we will get to come back someday.

We had a great family reunion at jerri’s place. The house is beautiful but what really sold it for us was George, one of the property caretakers. He is such a sweet person and so attentive. We often sat and talked with him because we enjoyed his company. He was always willing to go above and beyond for us and always ready to help out in any way he could. At the end of the trip he felt like family and we were sad to be leaving. The location is not on the tourist side but is beautiful and peaceful. If you’re looking for quiet and solitude this is the place to be. One thing to note is the living room/kitchen area does not have AC and it gets very very hot. All rooms are equipped with AC so you will at least sleep with cool air. We lost power and water for a whole day and the team worked all day to fix it for us. We appreciated the hospitality!

Wonderful location, can snorkel and/or swim right in front of house. Great front porch. Jerri was awesome to work with, and everyone on site was equally fantastic. The cook fed us better than we could’ve eaten at any restaurant in a beautiful setting. Did boat tour of the Mangroves and stopped at several local bars/restaurants only accessible by boat. Charming and bucolic. Can’t wait to go back!!!

This place is excellent. Highly recommend. George, the caretaker is awesome. So is Abrian and Mabel. We had a fantastic time!

Do you like to sip your coffee watching the sunrise with the mountains of Honduras and the ocean as your view? How about sipping a cold rum beverage from your sea pool while watching the sunset? Would you like to dive the second largest reef right from your doorstep? If you like living like a local and want to experience the real Roatan with its beautiful reefs and incredible cultures, this is the place for you! Jerri’s place is right on the reef. There is a dive shop next door for tank refills or boat excursions. Several people help with the property and assist with anything you need during your stay. The house is a comfortable ocean cabin with many windows to let the sea breeze roll right through. There are AC units in each bedroom and fans in the open areas. The wifi is fast, but the power on the island does go down occasionally. The house sits on a small caye, but a quick boat ride with Geoge provides access to several restaurants, small grocery stores, or a driver to take you around the island. We enjoyed the property for just over a 2-month stay. We left with many new friends we hope to see again on our next visit.

We had a lovely Christmas vacation at Jerri’s home. Everyone was wonderful. There was a total of 11 of us and there was plenty of room. I would recommend!

Hubby and I worked remotely from Roatan during the pandemic and originally planned to stay at the White House for 3 weeks to take a break from living in busier areas on the island. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay at the house for an additional 2 months. The location is lovely, delightfully quiet, and extremely safe. Oak Ridge Cay is tiny with several houses, the Reef House Resort, a walking path from end-to-end, beach areas, views, breezes, and friendly people. You can get to anywhere on Roatan from the cay fairly easily. The house is spacious, quaint, and well-maintained. It has everything needed for us to enjoy life, including wifi fast enough to work online. The lagoon in front is so relaxing to float, swim, or snorkel and the snorkeling off the resort’s dock next door is phenomenal. Communication with Jerri is terrific and greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing your delightful home with us and our dog!

Our group of 15 stayed 9 nights at this beautiful beach house. We had a wonderful time playing in the ocean and watching the marine life at nighttime. We played games together in the evening on the front porch that overlooked the ocean. The caretaker George was phenomenal and went above and beyond anytime we needed anything (ice, milk, a ride to the store or a restaurant) and helped us with anything else we could possibly need. He even took a couple people in our group fishing. The Reef House Resort is literally a few steps away and if we weren’t cooking meals together in the spacious kitchen in the house.. we typically ate there and got a refreshing blended drink. If you like to scuba dive or snorkel... Reef House is great!our entire group ranging from 6 years old to 67 years old had an amazing time! We highly recommend booking with Jerri!
