Such a wonderful location! We love this area and this house is a perfect place to stay. Our kids ,6& 3 , had a great time exploring, playing on the beach and swimming in the pool. We felt right at home and if we needed any help Patricia was very responsive and Anthony who lives on property was right there if we needed! There is a great restaurant walking distance and a few more nearby with a short drive. Every day we saw many animals on the property, we didn’t even need to go anywhere. There are a couple beaches nearby that we spent the day at playing the sand, riding the waves and relaxing. Highly recommend this spot. Our family definitely will be back.

Everything was amazing... The house had everything we needed, and Tony's service was incredible.

We came in a group of 7 people and stayed at casa sol. The place is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and you have plenty of space in the house. The property in general is very well maintained and in case of questions Anthony was a great help. Walking to the surf spot was doable but easier by car. As we came for the surf with plenty of boards, we were missing a surf rack in the yard. But we definitely come back, thanks for an amazing week :)

Everything was wonderful! We totally enjoyed our visit at this beautiful piece of paradise. Anthony was so helpful and honestly we could not have asked for a better experience.

Just what I needed. A couple of great days of surfing. Fresh river water swimming, sound of nature! Anthony the onsite manager was great, from helping change Sansa flights to showing me a new surf break. The small dipping pool and outdoor showers are always welcoming after a hot day of walking, surfing, playing in the tide pools. Thank you

Our family of five spent 4 days at Casa Sol at the end of March. There are three other homes on the large property with lush trees and a beautiful, but rocky beach — unless you are a surfer, better to drive to nearby playa pan dulce to safely swim at low tide and wear swim shoes or sandals. The property is a wildlife utopia —we saw all 4 monkey species, peccaries, coatis, agouti, hummingbirds and macaws, a giant toad and thousands of hermit crabs. Casa Sol is rustic and spacious with comfortable beds and sitting area. Tricia provides a large jug of water with filter that can be refilled daily. The house is equipped with numerous fans but for us Canadians escaping winter, it took a few days to adjust to the persist heat and humidity. The shared soaking pool was great for cooling off during the day and yoga on the covered deck surrounded by jungle sounds was a special experience. The outdoor shower was a treat for cooling off before bed —no hot water, but you won’t miss it

We would like to start our review by saying thank you: Thank you for this beautiful little piece of earth that you have kept ready and protected there. It’s for sale, and if you’ve been there, you’d want nothing more than for it to end up in equally loving hands. The place is like glamping in a house, which makes you feel so close to nature and allows you to enjoy it to the fullest. Everything runs on solar energy, and it’s fun to adapt to nature and live in harmony with it, even if you’re not used to that from everyday life in the Western world. You can walk right to the sea and a beautiful beach, and Anthony, the property manager, is incredibly nice and helpful—always on hand! We saw a large part of Costa Rica's wildlife on our property, which shows how comfortable the animals feel there. Close, quiet and trustworthy. You need a rental car, and then you can easily explore the surroundings, which have some great spots. Thanks for this experience

This casa was exactly as described. The towels and personal products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and other soaps) all smelt great. We got to see lots of spider monkeys, red macaws, crabs on the beach, and little wild pigs. We woke each morning to the sounds of howler monkeys and an orchestra of bird songs. Casa Sol was perfect for our family as we got to be off the grid but maintain certain comforts of having walls and windows which is not always available in Costa Rica. I would recommend it!

I had a great time at Naturaleza y gracia. The grounds are very well kept, the manager is extremely friendly and the amount of wildlife observed inside the ground is truly astonishing. Very recommended.

This was our second time staying at the cabin. It was lovely to be back! We saw monkeys, birds, lizards, frogs, and coati at the property.

I can't give enough stars for how much we enjoyed our stay here. It is a slice of paradise that we didn't want to leave!

We loved our stay. The casita was clean and peaceful. The wildlife on the property was fascinating. The beach was walkable and serene.

The onsite staff was refreshingly attentive to every request, from airport transport, to market, to activities.. Grounds are lush, maintained, fragrant, and full of wildlife. I saw far more animals up close and in greater quantities than on the tour of Corcavado. Pool was super. refreshing, and freshwater swimming hole was a delight. The huge, covered yoga platform was made of exotic wood. I want to return.

Patricia and her whole team were amazing. They helped guide me and my family into having a wonderful time. the property is beautiful. there were no surprises. We hope to make it an annual trip. Thank you Patricia for a great trip!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Incredible wildlife - we saw more animals sitting on our porch and walking through the extensive gardens than we did anywhere else on our trip. Beach is wonderful, pool is refreshing, house is basic but spotless. Anthony (property manager) was a lovely guy and helped us organise a boat trip with the kids and also with surfboard rental. Nothing was too much trouble - a real asset to the property! We loved this place so much - I very much hope we can return.

Excellent stay - you're right in the jungle but also have a private space and it feels safe. Just a quick walk to a gorgous beach. The house was really tidy, clean and cozy. We felt right at home. Would definitely come back!

I spent 4 days here with 7 other family members. The directions to get to the house were fantastic- very clear and concise. The house was very clean and had a lot of common space, including a large kitchen and table. The house is a ways from town so definitely pick up your groceries ahead of time. There is a fantastic shower by the bathroom and also an outdoor shower which was convenient with our large group. The pool is close by and we enjoyed hanging out and cooling off there. We saw 3 types of monkeys and definitely heard the howler monkeys, but never actually saw them. Anthony was very responsive to questions and great with recommendations. If you have time, ask him about the waterfall deep in the woods- it was a highlight of our stay!!

Wow! The perfect place to see lots of monkeys directly in the trees above our villa. We had everything we needed, full kitchen. Close to the beaches. We recommend this villa and Matapalo is a lovely place. If you are there on a Friday night, go to the Martina restaurant: excellent, festive evening, good food and nice atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at the casa. It’s a beautifuly property with lots of animals and a beautiful see view. Espcecially property manager Anthony made us feel at home from the first moment on & we had an amazing surf lesson with him. We very much enjoyed the yoga deck, which was a big plus for us to have a space to work out & practice yoga. We also enjoyed the pool! Sometimes it was a little noisy during the day because there were construction works ongoing on a neighbouring proparty. The wonderful sound of the animals during the night or the calming sound of the rain during our one rainy night made up for it though. We can recommend the casa to everyone and would love to come back.

Patricia is a very attentive host and Anthony, the person on site who manages her house, is adorable and very efficient in organizing your activities: surfing, whale watching, fishing, massage.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Casa Lluvia. It was cozy and quiet, except when the spider monkeys came through and you could hear them swinging through the trees above our roof. On other mornings the howler monkeys could be heard close by, and we probably saw about 40 macaws in the few nights we were there, along with plenty of hummingbirds, blue morphos, some pacas and coatis. The beach behind the property was beautiful and the grounds were very well kept. Our place had all the amenities needed to cook breakfasts and dinners, and only one night did we walk 5 minutes to visit Martina's Restaurant which had delicious fish dinners. Our host Anthony was friendly and available to answer our questions. The wifi was fast enough, since we did have to work a little and wanted to stay in touch with our family. Overall we hope to return here every year to reconnect with nature.

Naturaleza y Gracia was the perfect place to enjoy the amazing animals in the OSA Peninsula with close by access to surfing at a few different locations and Martina’s restaurant Nextdoor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make an amazing dinner and the gardens, pool, and yoga shelter were beautiful and well maintained. We were greeted by multiple types of monkeys, macaws, and more each day! Thank you so much!

We LOVED Patricia's place. it took us awhile to get used to the heat as we arrived from Canada. The property is so beautiful and well maintained. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Everyday we saw new animals. We saw all 4 species of monkeys right outside our door! We also saw Toucans, Macaws, agouti, Coati and a Tayra all on the property in 5 days. I would absolutely recommend Patricias place and hope to return one day :)

Our days at Casa Lluvia were like paradise! The cottage is adorable and super functional, a great equipped kitchen and the bathroom is practically right under the banana trees. The pool was great for cooling off, as the sea in front of the house is not good for swimming. Nature is incredible - right in front of the terrace Howler monkeys, skullcap monkeys, macaws and many more. Shiloh and Anthony are especially nice. Shiloh's support and advice were great and Anthony told us a lot about the animals of Osas in addition to surfing. We can imagine staying longer next time!!

The biodiversity on Peninsula Osa exceeded all our expectations, we saw countless species of animals, many right on the property (various birds, three types of monkeys, from the beach dolphins and sea turtles). The hosts and especially Anthony were super friendly and helpful, for example they were able to organize a private boat tour for us spontaneously. The house and great property exceeded all expectations. We would love to come back.

Our stay was extra special, as they let us have an elopement ceremony on the property. We didn’t have guests, just a small exchange of vows. Shiloh, the host was exceptional! She went above and beyond and then some to help make our day everything we hoped for and more. She also recommended and booked tours for us, and all of her recommendations were perfect! We didn’t have one bad experience. The only thing we were surprised about was that there was no hot water on the property, which is typical for the area. We would love to come back again, but we might bring a camping solar shower. We saw monkeys, macaws, and many other animals on the property. The front porch is lovely and surrounded by palms to offer extra privacy. The screened in space also provided an escape from all the night time bugs. This place was perfect! Be sure to have dinner at the restaurant next door. The food was incredible! We also loved the cacao farm tour, a night hike and the bioluminescence kayak tour.

Casa Lluvia was truly paradise for us. It was the perfect little get away and we were so happy to call it home for a week. The property manager Shiloh, was so sweet and accommodating as she helped us plan all of our Osa activities and always made sure we happy with our visit. The local restaurant down the block Martina’s, is a MUST visit while you stay here. It is a short walk from the property and has the most delicious food and sweetest staff. Osa has many tours and activities where you get the chance to see many wild animals, and although I recommend those tours it is truly amazing of how many animals you see right on the property. Monkeys, Tucans, and more would hang around our side yard while we sat on the porch drinking our morning coffee. This place was truly magical and we definitely plan on staying again in the future.

Matapalo stole our hearts. One of the best places in Costa Rica and Tricia’s house was in a great location, but highly recommend having a truck as everything is spread out. The house is very cute and even has a pool to jump in and cool off in.

The place is in a beautiful setting. The ocean is beautiful and although rocky it is super fun to stroll down and look for shells. The new pool and yoga deck were wonderful. Shiloh is very helpful and kind, as well as the housekeeping staff.

Amazing place and amazing experience.

This house was a beautiful location, tucked into the jungle in a very peaceful setting. It was an amazing central location to explore the Osa Peninsula via rental car. Shiloh, the property manager also went above and beyond to help us find excursions in the area and feel like part of the community. It was the pefect place for a girl's trip with plenty of space to explore and relax. We can't wait to come back!

The place is beautiful, animals, birds a lot of nature and privacy. Other than that the kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is super spacious and comfortable. Apart from that there is a direct access to the beach where we were able to surf at medium/high tide with some waves and a landscape of another level. highly recommended and we hope to return.

I loved our stay here. It’s warm but if you position the fans right it can get comfortable and it cools down at night. It’s great to experience a thunderstorm from inside. We were visited by squirrel monkeys and howler monkeys, they gave us quite a show swinging from tree to tree.

The place is excellent, super clean , don Victor the garden manager keeps everything impeccable , he is also a very friendly person. On the other hand, we were greeted at the house by Shiloi,who explained in great detail everything we should know , it was very nice and kind . I highly recommend this place,especially because you can be in contact with the still quite unspoiled nature of this beautiful country.

This stay was the highlight of our trip to the OSA Peninsula! Casa Lluvia was a truly immersive nature experience and we saw more wildlife than we ever imagined! Host Tricia was super responsive and helpful and manager Shiloh was invaluable helping us with restaurant reservations, private surfing lessons and more - it was a dream! Love the modern, minimal design of the beautiful cabaña, perfectly appointed kitchen and comfortable beds with ample fans. 10 out of 10 for sure we will recommend and be back someday soon!

Pros: A wonderful place to stay on Osa with great attention to detail, all managed beautifully by Shiloh. We loved Martinas, the nearby restaurant too and made plenty of friends. A day on the boat from Puerto Jimenez was a highlight. Cons: it was unusually hot and the cabana was stifling, despite the fans provided. We struggled with that. We are extremely well travelled and have lived in very hot countries, just to give you an idea. The lack of beach swimming was known in advance and we thought it wouldn’t matter, but it actually did…

This was a late-notice booking and Tricia and her team were excellent. The accommodation was just as described and it was a relaxing stay in the rain forest - even with the howler monkeys' early morning wake-up call!

We had a lovely time staying at one of Trisha's cabañas on our trip to Matapalo. The communication with Trisha was very easy and we loved meeting Shiloh who was very helpful during the entirety of our stay. The place is secluded enough but not totally isolated. The house was very clean and it was very fun making meals there and hanging out on the patio.

The house was beautiful, spacious and so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, glasses plates etc. The shower and soaking tub were amazing and so refreshing. It was perfect for our family and a great end to our vacation.

Tricia’s place is gorgeous in every way. Beautifully appointed space, everything you need including little details, everything works. Steps away from the beach. It is a relaxing haven home, and only a few min walking to the only restaurant nearby. Shiloh, the property manager, is also a gem and so helpful and friendly with local information. I so enjoyed my time here, and will def be back!

Beautiful homes in a nature dense area of the osa peninsula. Tons of wildlife, relaxing river close by, fun Friday night at Martina’s restaurant. Short walk down the driveway to a really unique ocean spot. Super accommodating hosts. Well equipped houses. They have thought of it all- down to compost buckets that are collected daily, glass storage containers for left overs- things you don’t always see in airbnbs! Felt right at home and had everything we needed. Also, big respect to the owners for supplying natural soap, shampoo and conditioner! We will come again!!

We saw all the animals right from our porch: monkeys, agouti , coati , peccaries, macaw and more. There was always something to see, staying at home, sort walk to the beach for sunrise, or taking a walk to find the various monkeys.

Great location, beautiful property. Tons of wildlife in your front yard. Shiloh, the property manager, was attentive + helpful - she booked us a ziplining reservation and surfboard rental. One thing to note is that there are several other Airbnb rentals on the property so it’s not quite as private as other places I’ve stayed on Osa. All in all, lovely place to relax and take in the natural beauty of CR.

I'm always skeptical when booking a place whether it's really going to be as good as the photos and descriptions, but this place exceeded my expectations! I first notice the beautiful entrance that welcomed me, as it stood apart from all the other properties I passed. Once I opened the door to the house, I was astonished on how well appointed and clean everything was. Every detail was taken care of. I felt welcomed and immediately comfortable. The caretaker, Shiloh, greeted me and she was quick to answer any questions, let me know what was all available to me, and to feel free to reach out any time. She even offered to guide me on a hike the next morning! In addition to the great hospitality, it's the beauty of this place that overwhelmed me. I was just steps from the ocean, in the middle of a jungle! The lush gardens and trees make a welcome home for the howler monkeys, parrots and other animals and birds to play in. I highly recommend this place to stay. I will be back!

Exceptional stay and location. The atmosphere on this property is very special. The manager Shiloh is beyond patient, intuitive and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond. Anthony & Shiloh gave me so much of their time in terms of their information on surfing in the area. The cabina itself is so well thought out and there is a gorgeous attention to detail. I wanted to live in this perfect little green tiled house forever! The area, animals & nearby streams that run into the ocean is actual paradise. Thank you so much for this magical visit. Cannot wait to be back.

We felt very lucky to stay at Tricia’s place. I think we were some of her first guests and a lot of thought has obviously gone into the design of the unit. The place was perfect - close to the waves and private feeling very close to nature. We had monkeys and birds galore outside - just wonderful.

Incredible boutique resort in the middle of the jungle and right on the beach. I stayed in CASA LLUVIA and had the most peaceful sleep and mornings listening to the gentle sounds of the jungle. The apartment has everything you could ask for if you want to be staying in a self-sufficient unit. There is a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils you may need, an oven, and even a drip coffee maker. The absolute highlight was the option of being fully exposed to the environment and having the most beautiful views upon waking up. In the evenings I would just roll down the curtains and feel perfectly safe and comfortable. Amazing open-concept shower. Lastly, I must mention the bedding which was super soft and cozy to sleep it.

The property is set on a beautiful 3 acre parcel of land on the beach. The house is about 100m to the shoreline. The villa sits in a tranquil jungle setting surrounded by gorgeous trees and animals at the doorstep. The house is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped which we really appreciated and anything we thought we might need or want to use, was there. We stayed there not long after Tricia became the new owner, so there were several improvements to the property and grounds in process which will make this place even better than it already is. The management couple, Shiloh and Anthony, were incredible. They were really attentive to our requests and needs. Really friendly and were an added bonus to our stay. Tricia is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with and very responsive. A beautiful villa to stay in, in a beautiful slice of the Osa peninsula.
