Our days in Santa Teresa were fantastic, and much of that was thanks to our stay at Cale Casitas. The apartment was very nice. It had good air conditioning and everything you need to relax for a few days, enjoying the beach just a few steps away. I would definitely stay at Casitas again on my next visit.

Everything was clean and the host was responsive when we had small trouble getting into the lock box! Would stay here again as it is walkable to the city and beach access is just right across the street!

We stayed at Leo’s place for several weeks and were very satisfied. We particularly loved the apartment's location in the heart of Santa Teresa and the friendly communication with Leo and Lupe. We will be happy to come back!

Both Leonardo and Lupe were so nice and so helpful throughout our stay. Leo was very communicative and always provided quick responses and was prompt in helping, as was Lupe. Highly recommend this home!☺️ Very cozy place to stay, and everything worked properly with the Wi-Fi, kitchen, bathroom, etc. The only issue we had was a few cockroaches, but Lupe and Leo were quick to help.😊☀️ Very close to the beach, and the place is right next to a café called Anis, which in my opinion served the best food in the ENTIRE Santa Teresa area.🤩

great place to stay in Santa Teresa, a bit away from the biggest hustle and bustle

We stayed with Leo for 6 nights and enjoyed it to the max! Really lovely little apartment, very central and close to the beach! There was everything you needed to make some easy food and Lupe came by and kept the place clean every day!

The perfect room, it has everything you need for a short or long stay, very clean, A/C, very comfortable bathroom, very comfortable bed and the terrace is the best.

Leo’s place is wonderful; well situated close to the beach and cafés and he was super helpful and kind to help me when I needed to go to the medical centre! Thank you for a great stay.

Leo was very attentive and took care of the AC problem promptly. He’s friendly, hands-on, and offers a great deal. The location is excellent—near supermarkets, lots of restaurant choices, and just 5 minutes from the beach!

The accommodation is exactly as shown, Lupe keeps the entire complex clean on a daily basis and is very helpful. It also has boards and rental bikes which makes the stay and amenities very complete. Thank you

I had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and just a short walk to the beach, which made it super convenient. The area felt safe and relaxing, and everything I needed was nearby. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. I’d definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the accommodation was amazing, the space is clean, organized, has all the necessary kitchen utensils, and has an amazing location close to the beach. Communication with the host was great too, always willing to respond quickly and help, Leo is a 10. I highly recommend

We had a very nice stay in Santa Teresa, the airbnb is super close to the beach, clean and has a lovely garden and area to sit outside. We could always ask Leo if we needed help and Lupe was very attentive. Just as a heads-up though: the flat is surrounded by lots of plants and trees, so we did have some crabs and insects inside the house sometimes. And you have to pay some extra money for the washing machine.

Great location and comfortable place, definitely recommended

I’m going to get straight to the best thing about this place: its location. It’s perfectly situated, surrounded by the best restaurants and right in front of the beach. That makes all the difference. When you visit Santa Teresa, it’s less about the wildlife and more about the beach and nightlife. We had spent our trip exploring the jungle, so we really appreciated coming back to the lively energy of this town. The place itself is cozy, with a small outdoor table and a little kitchen. The bed is comfy. The layout is a bit unusual—there’s a door by the bed that doesn’t fully open and a window on the side that can’t be opened—but it’s not a big issue. Just a heads-up: we stayed for the weekend, and the neighbors played music really late, so we had to use earplugs. You can also hear people in the apartment above quite well.

We had a great stay at this little apartment in Santa Teresa! It was very clean, super centrally located, and just a short walk (300m) to the beach. The area felt safe, with all restaurants and bars within walking distance. The cleaning lady was lovely, and the overall price-to-value was excellent. Highly recommend!

Léo is an amazing host! The best! Warm, friendly, adorable! What a pleasure to stay in these homes! For our second stay here in Swell, we loved this time spent, every moment here. Swell is really very pleasant, we felt extremely good there, the terrace bathed in tropical plants at the end of the alley is precious and very appreciated! Thanks for this trip once again Leo! Great location, beautiful spot, feels like staying in a fancy surf shack.

We had a great time in Avignon! The accommodation open to the outside was nice, quiet and perfectly located. A stone's throw from the beach and in the heart of Santa Theresa, staying at Calé offers a truly soothing and rejuvenating experience on the Nicoya Peninsula. The accommodation is accessible with a city vehicle and the street offers free parking. The host is super responsive and very accommodating. Thanks for the welcome:) I would highly recommend it!

I had a great stay here. It is super close to the beach trail access for the best surfing. Leo was super helpful and rented me a surfboard for a great price. The location is also close to many restaurants.

Great accommodation, very comfortable and well-equipped! It was really cute. Santa Teresa is not a very family-friendly city but no complaints about the apartment! We also received several restaurant suggestions and tips for getting back on the road.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. It looked even better in real life than on the pictures! Location was convenient, near everything. But the place itself was quiet and private. We would have loved to stay longer, it had all the amenities for a longer stay. Communication was great too. Very friendly! You can rent surf boards here and do your laundry. A perfect stay! Small but cozy place, location is good

We loved our stay at Calé's! Great location right in the middle of town! The location is walkable to the north and south ends of town, there is a path to the beach right across the street, right across the street from Ani's for a delicious smoothie bowls and breakfast, and Denga surf shop for rentals! The unit we rented was as advertised, very clean, well kept, and private. We would definitely stay here again - although we might upgrade to a unit with AC :)

Our stay was great! The host / team was very accommodating and ensured we were comfortable and all our needs were handled. They were a great help for local recommendations, and arranging transportation. Very responsive too!! The location is PERFECT and across the street from beach access was amazing. This spot had everything we needed for the most amazing week!

Great stay! Close to some good food places and the beach. Very clean, spacious, and also quiet and secluded. Stayed there for 2.5 weeks and had to extend.

I had an amazing stay at Cale's place! The apartment was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. The check-in process was smooth and Cale or Lupe were always available to answer any questions I had.

An exceptional experience! From the moment you arrive, I knew I had chosen the perfect place. Leo was incredibly friendly and responsive. The property was spotless, stylish and modern decor that made me feel at home. Also, the location was ideal: close to main attractions but quiet enough to relax at night. The maximum are super comfortable casitas for me and my dog, nature, comfortable kitchen (they helped me change the gas that left), space to dry clothes, the mangos fell from the sky, they lent me a bike, and I was able to explore and enjoy Santa Teresa. I would stay an entire month the pure truth perfect for a person traveling alone, the internet quite well to be that town, I don't use AC and I played it with the fan. The comfortable bed and pillows, and the water in the hot shower, the table to work comfortable too. I felt safe thank you!

Great location on the strip of Santa Theresa, lots of restaurants and beach access. The room is comfortable, and the patio is nice. Would recommend if you want to be in the heart of everything!

This Airbnb’s location is PRIME. Right in the middle of Santa Teresa, next to the best restaurant and bars and a 1 min walk to the beach. I will say that because you are right in the hustle and bustle, it can get a little loud at night but nothing unbearable! You can just hear cars on the street which I’m used to from living in a big city back in the states. The apartment was small and cute and simple, had everything you would need including a full kitchen with all appliances and dishes needed to cook, as well as AC in bedroom. Leo came over and introduced himself as we checked in and he was great. Offered to send restaurants, activities, etc to ensure a fun and relaxing stay. Overall incredible Airbnb with an unbeatable location! Will definitely stay again.

Amazing experience! I went with a friend and she was perfect. The size of the casita well, considering that in that place one is all day in the beach or outside the room. The kitchen equipped with everything you need, the comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. They made a change of sheets and towels every two days approx, which was very nice. Featuring a very nice terrace for breakfast or eating. The place is quiet and really close to the beach, it is a thing to go out and 50 meters there is a passage to the beach. Lots of good restaurants and cafés nearby. The only thing that can be uncomfortable without the noises upstairs, you hear it quite a lot when they walk or move things, other than that all amazing!

We had an amazing stay! For one week we were in the middle of Santa Teresa, everything was walking distance and the apartment was super clean and cosy. Since restaurants are a bit pricey here, it’s fantastic you have the opportunity to cook yourself or make a nice smoothie in the morning before go surfing!

This was our top Airbnb stay in CR! Such a vibe! Perfect location to be close enough to everything in Santa Teresa but still felt private and secure! This space was so CLEAN - everything felt brand new. The design was lovely. The space had all the amenities we needed!! Cale was so helpful and gave great local advice. Would absolutely love to stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect. We were a short walk from the beach, bars, restaurants, and the grocery store. I highly recommend eating at Muzza, which is a pizza place just a few doors down. Leo was amazing! He was so welcoming and a very effective communicator. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He offered us some great recommendations and advice throughout our stay. You won’t be disappointed if you book this place!

This was my second time in Santa Teresa and my boyfriend and I were very happy with our little home for our long weekend in ST. The bedroom area was smaller than expected but was not an issue since we were mostly out and about. It was a great location, many restaurants and shops within minutes of walking. The place itself was set back in the building so it was peaceful and quiet. We loved relaxing on the patio. We could sometimes hear music from the nearby restaurant at night, but usually it was live and lovely. This place is right on the main (only) road in ST, so if you don't to climb and descend hills several times to get to and from your place, stay here!

Thank you for this beautiful stay in the prettiest part of Santa-Teresa (playa Santa-Teresa) The place is very nice, adorable, and we really enjoyed it! The small private terrace is very cute and a lovely and very nice outdoor space! Léo was a great host, and very responsive, and Lupe welcomed us very warmly. Right across the street, access to the beach to surf or admire the splendid sunsets. You can rent boards right on the beach. We'll be back! That was a very nice stay thank you so much! Nat and Ludo
