It was a great place. The only thing pictures don’t show is that the bedroom doors are outside. The main part of house is downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs. If I had younger kids, I may have been a little nervous. Other than that, great surroundings. Woke up to howler monkeys and toucans each morning. The patio and pool was where we spent most of our time.

We loved staying here! We felt right at home and enjoyed the beautiful view and awesome layout of the house and pool! Would recommend!

Doug and Janet were fabulous! Proactive and friendly hosts! Their place is AMAZING! It was private, beautiful, clean, and exactly as described!!! 8 minutes from the beach, grocery, and a great lunch spot, The Bakery. Concierge service is spot on and very helpful! Just tell them what you want and they make it happen. Loved being able to have this place all to ourselves with the pool while also being able to book activities through their service. Very private all inclusive type vibes! We felt safe and secure. Definitely need a 4x4. Once you learn the path up, it's pretty easy. Costa Rica is an amazing place! I definitely recommend Dominical and Doug & Janet's place if you are looking for more of a local vibe. Don't look any further, BOOK IT! You won't regret it!

Awesome house and location. Floor plan worked great! Pool was large, inviting, clean, and used often. Outdoor living space was top notch. Better in person than pictures. Great place for 1 or 2 couples, which is hard to find in the area. Everything was above our expectations! We look forward to a return visit!

We loved this Airbnb! It is nestled in the most stunning setting, with a private pool, gorgeous landscaping, and painting-worthy views of the ocean and sunset. Our 9-year spent about 6 hours each day in the pool … he would have spent 18 if we’d let him! The hosts are super friendly and helpful. We also loved the nearby town of Dominical and its restaurants. Our only regret is not having more time here

Idyllic location and a lovely place to stay.

The villa is spectacular! I recommended it to all our friends and family. This was our second stay there and hopefully we’ll be able to make it at least once a year. It’s just so perfect there aren’t words!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your home.

Dreamy week at this villa perched in the heights of Dominical. Amazing swimming pool, garden, and nature. Exceptional privacy. Uniquely arranged house. Very friendly outside space. Thoughtful and friendly hosts. Nearby activities, beaches and facilities. Everything is there to make the most of a memorable stay. Thank you.

The house is beautiful. The pool was amazing. The location was very private. We didn’t use our four wheel drive, but you definitely need high clearance. You have to remember you’re in the middle of the jungle, big bugs, geckos, iguanas, bats & lots of different noises. The views are stunning. I felt very safe. I would rent this house again.

A month in paradise. We spend a lot of time in this area and were thrilled to discover Doug and Janet's casa available for rent. As listed, it was extremely comfortable, featuring a very well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, an amazing pool and secure grounds to enjoy. The area features some lovely dining options and it is an easy walk down to Dominicalito Beach for more exploring and enjoyment. Highly recommend.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at this beautiful home. Very comfortable and stunning views of the sunset while overlooking the jungle. Truly an amazing place! Hosts were very helpful and accommodating as well!
