The house is beautiful, the rooms are cozy, beds are comfortable and I loved the local design touches through out the house. Great location, walkable and great coffee shops & restaurants. We had a few incidents in the house that were out of the owners control but they were quick to respond and find solutions. The patio and pool are lovely however there are lots of pigeons/birds that hang in the trees that get the pool dirty daily. The house mgmt cleans the pool 3 times a week but with the amount of birds that visit the house it was impossible to be clean for more than 24 hrs. Due to this the pool was not able to be used at our leisure (Owner was willing and helpful to send people to clean the pool an additional time outside the schedule). House is noisy at night with restaurant next door and busy street but for us and our kids this was not an issue, as this is normal at home too.

Our stay was amazing. This house is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. It was perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the pool and used it everyday multiple times. Above all the location was everything. Walkable to all resturaunts. Quick drives to all the beaches. We will definitely come back to this home.

We had a nice stay in this house. The location is great: very close to the malecon and some great restaurants. We enjoyed the classic architecture of the home: high ceilings, patio with a small pool, and a nice roof deck. The bedrooms were clean and had sufficient air conditioning. I recommend this home for it's location and classic charm. The host team was very nice and consistently quick to respond.

We had a great stay here. The location is very convenient, and the house itself is comfortable, well-kept, and nicely designed. The kitchen is especially large and well-equipped, which made it a great base and place to spend time together. The hosts were professional, responsive, and helpful whenever we needed anything, which made the stay smooth and easy. One thing to note is that sparrows gather in the bougainvillea at sunrise and sunset, so there’s a bit of natural noise at those times. It didn’t bother us too much, but something to be aware of if you’re used to a very quiet, city-style environment. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with everything you need.

The accommodation recommended by Amaya was an excellent option for staying in La Paz. Well located, it is close to the Malecon (3 blocks away) and a few minutes' walk from the city's restaurants. The house has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The main living room/kitchen is very cozy and can easily accommodate 6 people. The patio with the pool is definitely a plus, although the presence of many birds means it gets dirty quickly. La Paz is definitely a busy and somewhat noisy city, but we had no problems with the noise during our stay.

An exceptionally stylish, comfortable, and relaxing home. Staying there felt like being at a spa! We all wanted more time in La Paz just so we could enjoy more time in the house. The host and her team were warm and communicative. Really, the rare Airbnb that blows you away. We hope to return!

The house is a very traditional Mexican home yet has a beachy flare which is what we were looking for. Home was bigger than I expected and the stairs gave me a workout everyday haha. Location was great & the neighborhood very quiet. The service from the maintenance team was quick & they were always checking in. Only thing WiFi was very spotty but this was a common thing in la Paz & it didn’t bother us since we wanted to be away from our phones.

Such a wonderful stay we had! We loved absolutely everything about this place. The hacienda architecture was just beautiful and the garden so peaceful and private. We loved the rooftop at dusk! Can’t wait to come back one day.

Loved the location of the home. Short walk to the malecon and the best restaurants in La Paz. The home makes you feel at home, just keep in mind that you will have to deal with some stairs.

We had a wonderful time, using the house as our base for a week. The hostess was very responsive and accommodating. The house is also a great place to hang out. Location, location, location.

This was our second time staying at this house. It’s spacious and has a beautiful patio. The location is great, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, shopping and the malecón. The hot water is slow to show up sometimes in the showers, but we would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful - just as pictured but felt even roomier than I expected! It was perfect for our family of four, with two bedrooms on the second floor (with 2 bathrooms) and a third bedroom and bathroom on the third floor along with the fabulous deck - complete with hammocks. The courtyard pool was a perfect place to relax, and the beautiful wood doors open wide to adjoin the space to the well appointed living room and kitchen. The hosts were incredibly helpful, arranging a pick up at the airport on our arrival and recommending great restaurants! The location is amazing, right on the edge of downtown so everything is easily walkable but not right in the bustle. We loved it!!!

Beautiful home walking to do much and a half hour from La Paz’s most famous beach. We had five women stay here and it was very spacious, we loved all the patios and rooftop. The pool isn’t really useful but it is cute to look at. Would definitely stay here again and wish our trip was longer!

Great place, beautifully decorated with great woodwork. It all works together. Pool is small plunge pool, but perfect for cool down. Balconies offer amazing views and sunsets. Would high recommend. Lots of stairs to be aware of if you have mobility issues. Great location walking distance to Malecon and restaurants. Would stay again. AC in all rooms, not much more you could ask more.

This is an outstanding place to stay and excellent host. The property was well appointed, matched the photos and description exactly and the host was so incredibly helpful and responsive during our stay, she even went above and beyond to help us get a car to the airport. A very lovely home right in the middle of La Paz. Walkable to the Malecon and fantastic restaurants. Very relaxing for a family of 4. The small courtyard with flowers and pool are beautiful. There is normal street noise during the day but nothing unexpected.

All the reviews are spot on! This place is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly spacious for a group of five. My family and I loved every minute. Even though we're all quite tall, there was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The pool is a lovely size for a relaxing soak. We could easily fit three people, but four or five might feel a bit crowded (remember we're tall) The pool area, with its beautiful garden, is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The house is in an amazing location - super close to the boardwalk, restaurants, and bars. We barely even used our car! But it's just far enough away to avoid any noise from the busy boardwalk. We can't wait to come back! We highly recommend this place.

This house was by far one of the best houses my family and I have stayed at. It was equipped with everything that made you feel right at home by also providing a perfect spaces to relax and enjoy La Paz. The home is in walking distance of everything in La Paz. The highlight for our family was the roof top. We loved sitting out during the evenings enjoying some music and drinking while spending time together. Both hosts were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would stay here again, well worth the money.

This place is only a few blocks away from Malecon where you will find a vibrant night life, bars, restaurants, and shops. It was perfect for a group of 6. Also, each room has a full restroom, which allowed everyone their own privacy. Big plus. There’s an OXXO right down the street, a taco restaurant next door, and a great coffee shop right around the corner. The only downside was that the pool is about the size of a large jacuzzi. Maybe this was in the description and I missed it. Not sure, but don’t expect to swim laps, it’s just a place to wind down and relax at the end of the day. Still by far one of the best places we’ve stayed at!

The house could not have been in a better location. Easy walk to busy streets with beautiful art, creative coffee shops and a wide range of amazing restaurants. The house was beautiful, each bedroom had its own bath, making it perfect for couples traveling together. The rooftop was wonderful for enjoying the night air, the dipping pool perfect for an August visit. I can't imagine how perfect this house must be when the weather is cool enough to have the windows open. LaPaz is a wonderful town, full of artisans and warm people. We can't wait to return.

The house is very nicely located and on the third floor they have a terrace with a nice view towards the sea. The kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable rooms and beds.

It was a perfect place to stay. We loved it! The house was very complete, we were left with the basic inputs, everything was very clean.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Hormiga. The house itself is beautiful, and we loved the spectacular views and sunsets from the top balcony. The pool was the perfect place to cool off. Walkable to everything we needed - cute restaurants, great coffee shops, the Malecón, grocery stores, etc. Host was super responsive and even arranged a babysitter for us! Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amaya's place - The house was amazing for our party of 6! We especially loved the private courtyard and pool, the multiple balconies, each room having it's own on-suite bathroom, and the fully stocked kitchen! I also appreciate Amaya's quick responses and the flexibility to check in a tad earlier than our alotted time due to travel. What a wonderful time - 10/10 would come back!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in La Paz! The host was exceptionally accommodating, making us feel welcome and attended to throughout our visit. The highlight of the property was definitely the pool—perfect for relaxing and cooling off after a day of exploring. It also has an amazing room on the third floor with a balcony with breathtaking views of the ocean. The location couldn't be better. Situated right on the malecón, we were within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We rented Amaya Leticia’s home for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! Every design option was beautiful and functional. We usually rent a home just to sleep in, but we very much enjoyed coming back to lounge in the pool and enjoy each other’s company! Family commented that it looked/felt like a welcoming hotel! definitely recommend!

Awesome place. Amaya answered questions in seconds. The place itself is really well laid out. The bedrooms are all separate floors from the dining, kitchen and living space. The patio is very beautiful. Road noise is a thing, but we didnt' care as we preferred to be close to so many great spots. Coolest secret thing that is awesome about this place: There is no TV! So perect for a true GET AWAY! Amazing sunsets from the roof level terrace!

I’d give this place an extra star if I could. It was more spacious than expected. The pool was an absolute lifesaver. The open kitchen with the giant sliding doors that opened to the dining room table was spectacular. Each room had an AC but we never even turned them on (even though it was 90 degrees during the day) because the ceiling fans kept the house cool and breezy. I honestly thought the lack of TV was a total positive even with my 9 and 7 year old kids there. We played cards, swam in the pool, told stories, and walked along the beach in the evening instead. I can’t wait to come back next year!!!

The home is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. The balconies off the bedrooms were beautiful including the courtyard on the 1st floor catching a nice breeze. We were able use the kitchen and cook a delicious breakfast every morning with foods we bought at a convenient deli/corner market steps from the house. The only negatives to point out were the street noise, occasional dog barking and car alarms going off. We stayed from Friday through Tuesday and found a lot traffic noise on Friday and Saturday night. Bring ear plugs. The home is right next to a grill & bar. Friday night the smell of burnt wood and Saturday night the smell of BBQ beef creeping into the house even with the doors and windows shut. Use the ceiling fans. Otherwise, this house is really lovely and enjoyed it very much. Muchas gracias!

What a lovely charming casa. Comfortable, beautiful, artistic, culturally appropriate and easy living. The lounging pool is gorgeous and comfortable, the hammocks on the top balcony divine. Restaurant right next door was yummy and the proprietor so accommodating. It is very noisy with dogs barking, loud music, cars… my husband bought and used noise canceling headphones so was ok. Having some written recommendations for local knowledge would have enhanced our stay.

really lovely 3 story house just a short walk to the water and grocery stores and shops. lovely outdoor deck at the top with hammocks and comfie chairs for lounging in the sun. the downstairs outside patio is very private and stays shaded if you want someplace cool to hang out. the plunge pool is nice.

This beautiful house with its magnificent balconies is a true pleasure. It is two blocks from the water and the Malecon, enabling you to go for walks, rides or meals with ease. The house has every ammenity, my favorite was the walled in courtyard. The plunge pool is a special treat. There is a grocery store close by and many restaurants. The neighborhood is very safe--I felt very safe walking around the neighborhood alone even at night.

This is a really nice place in La Paz and Ana and Amaya are excellent hosts. They helped us with lots of little things during our stay and answered questions really quickly. The house is great with a really nice and well-provisioned kitchen. The bedrooms are large with lots of space. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance of the house, and the malecón is just a few blocks away. The only downsides to the place are lots of stairs to get up to the top bedroom (wasn’t an issue for us) and that the property sits on a fairly busy street. The one bedroom that faces the street has quite a bit of traffic noise while the other two were much quieter. Just something to be aware of. This isn’t an issue in the living room or kitchen. This is a really comfy space in downtown La Paz!

There's a fair amount of street noise (and there is an open air restaurant next door), nothing that ear plugs can't fix. House has a lovely, welcoming feel. My friends and I throughly enjoyed our two night stay here! The location is great, on a quiet street but quick walk to the water and numerous amazing restaurants (McFisher is a MUST). Check in was a breeze and the host was super responsive. It was too cold to attempt using the pool (it’s more of a cold plunge) but I can see that being amazing during the summer! Would definitely recommend this place to small groups looking to explore La Paz.

Great spot to stay in La Paz- as others mention , the street noise is definitely a thing until about 11pm or so and I did not bring ear plugs (my mistake) but it did make sleep harder than expected. Otherwise the spot was great for my family and we loved exploring La Paz!

It was a pleasant stay. Spacious bedrooms, beautiful kitchen and loved the third floor views. This place has close market stores and is a few blocks from the malecón just as described. There is also a restaurant next door that serves amazing food. Very quiet neighborhood which was a plus. There is also a washer and dryer. Only thing I was not fond of was the host request to take out the trash and wash all dishes that were used. I understand that it’s common sense to do these things. However to have my host ask it to be done, threw me off as in my previous stays this was never requested to be done. Still this place was an amazing stay and would recommend.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house in downtown La Paz! It is just as described— comfortable 3 bedroom home on three floors with a lovely terrace on each floor. Amazing place and gorgeous courtyard/backyard with peaceful decor and great sun. The soaking tub/pool was very small but perfect for cooling off after sun bathing. All beds were very comfortable and rooms get great light. Noise from restaurant downstairs easily muted with earplugs at night. Optimal location to main strip and restaurants. Host was very responsive and helpful in making local recommendations.

This is a stunning home with a convenient location we walked everywhere. It was incredibly clean. The kitchen could use a few more items (they didn’t have any pepper?) The noise from the neighboring restaurant is worth mentioning as other reviews have as well. We brought ear plugs and they supplied large fans in each room which drowned it out quite a bit. The streets in this area are loud and busy most hours of the day/night. I’d imagine most houses in the area have just gotten used to the noise.

This is easily the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at, I loved it. The garden, the balconies, the comfort, the location. 100% recommended.

What a wonderfully beautiful home. We stayed 10 days here and it was gorgeous and walking distance to great restaurants and stores. More than enough space to spread out with the family. To set expectations from other reviews: the home was loud with music and noise from the nearby restaurant and street but we slept with earplugs no problem. Also, the pool is cold and the courtyard doesn’t get sunshine so we didn’t swim. The location and space was worth it and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This is a stunning home! The place is beautifully decorated, she provides a lot of beach essentials (though hand soap and lotion were not refilled in the bathrooms) The house is VERY close to amazing restaurants and to the local boardwalk area. An ideal location! It was too cold to use her pool, but the roof decks were so beautiful. I would stay here again if I was in La Paz with a bunch of friends!

We really enjoyed the location and walking and exploring. They were very responsive and helpful and it was amazing to have access to bikes to be able to get to many of the further away beaches without ever having to get in a car.

This is a beautiful place to stay in La Paz with a great location a few blocks away from the Malecón, very close to a market and great restaurants and cafés. We loved spending time in the terraces, especially the third floor terrace with a gorgeous view of the sunset. We picked the house because of the pool, but never used it, it is a bit small and too cold for us. Other than that, the house is perfect and we would love to stay here again.

We loved staying in this beautiful and spacious house located in a quiet but central neighborhood. Our two favorite fish tacos spots were very close. The house is walking distance from restaurants, cafes, and a small grocery store. We travelled with friends and the house was perfect, giving everyone their own bathrooms. The balcony on the third floor is gorgeous! You can even see the ocean in the third floor bathroom mirror (dreamy!). We rented a car to drive to farther beaches that were 15-25 minutes away. We will definitely come back!

Overall, the place is really amazing. The property is in a perfect location, walkable to everything in the center of town and just a couple blocks up from the malecon. The patio is great, and while the pool is small, it served its purpose for afternoon dips. With 4 bathroom and 3 bedrooms, there was plenty of privacy. The balconies and views from the top floor were great. The kitchen is fully equipped and beautiful. It stays very cool, and the AC units worked great. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated. There were a few small issues that arose, including running out of water. This took a few hours to fix, but we appreciated how quickly the maintenance crew attended to the problem, well into the night. The bar/ restaurant next door does play live music until 11pm (seemingly), which was right when we were typically going to bed, so it wasn't so bad. But may be an issue for those trying to sleep earlier. Would just back ear plugs, as the rest of the property is quite amazing.

Pictures don’t do it justice this Airbnb is beautiful. Highly recommend this home. Some people have complained about the noise next door from the restaurant but it isn’t that bad you just have to make sure you close all the windows and vents. The bar/ restaurant next door keeps the music to a low volume that is tolerable. The location is prefect for the central part of La Paz and makes it easy to jump on the main highway to drive to the beaches. There is also a walking distance to one of the beaches. Be prepared to get a workout the stairs definitely make you get some cardio in. But wow this home is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at GORGEOUS home! Overall we will be re booking as we visit La paz often.
