The place worked out great for my family. I love the big area on the Main floor for gatherings. It had a main floor on suite bedroom which was great for my mom and a half bath which was convenient for guests. The location made it easy for walking to many places as well. Also even though we didn’t have a car, the garage was nice to have.

We came to Guadalajara for my dad's medical treatment, and before booking I wasn't sure if the house would look like the photos or if it would be suitable for his needs. Astrid was kind enough to let me visit the property beforehand, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. From the moment we walked in, I knew it was exactly what my family needed. The house isn't brand new or absolutely pristine, and there were a few minor maintenance items that could be addressed, but it has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home. Since it's the rainy season, there were quite a few mosquitoes, but that's something you'll experience almost everywhere this time of year. Astrid was wonderful to communicate with throughout our stay. After a storm caused a power outage throughout the neighborhood, she quickly brought us flashlights and fans to help make everyone more comfortable until the electricity was restored. We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house is incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel comfortable. The multiple bedrooms made it perfect for a group, giving everyone their own space while still enjoying time together in the common areas. The location was another big highlight—it’s conveniently close to many amenities like shops, restaurants, and other essentials, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. Overall, this is a great place for families or groups looking for a roomy, well-located home and clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to enjoy with family and friends; there are a few minor details that are being addressed, but the place is undoubtedly highly recommended. With spacious, bright, and well-ventilated areas on all sides, multiple rooms, and a beautiful central courtyard. Astrid is a fantastic host. On the corner, there is a great barbecue spot, and two blocks away, there is a 7-Eleven.

Great location, very large house. Felt safe and was easy to get around that large city. The parking space was large, and the area around the house was quite.

Amazing stay at casa Matilda, a beautiful and spacious home that has everything you need for your stay. Really peaceful neighborhood and incredibly helpful and kind hosts, they greeted us upon our arrival and despite having an 11am check out gave us flexibility considering we had a late flight. Will definitely come back and if you’re looking for an outstanding place to stay while in Guadalajara this is definitely it!

My family and I stayed here while visiting Guadalajara for a wedding. The house was stunning and was very serene. We enjoyed our stay! The host were super responsive and readily available to help with whatever we needed. The only thing to note when visiting is that there is no central air conditioner but the home does have lots of windows and fans so it was not a big problem for us. We enjoyed our stay and felt very safe! Would definitely recommend.

Everything was great, the water was warm. The only thing is that we didn't know how to use the steam room and the terrace was full of spiders and dust. It's not a requirement, since we spent more time in the pool. The main thing was that it was super clean ☺️

The house is very nice and the facilities are very good, you have what you need to have a good time, there were only some details that would have been good if they worked 100% and we had to deal with the fact that they were building next door, which generated some discomfort.

Super stay!!

My friends and I had an amazing weekend at the Villa, it was much better than we expected, we really enjoyed the whole place. The house is in great condition and personally I loved that the kitchen is super complete, we felt right at home. Great service from Astrid and Janette, they were very nice and attentive to our questions. No doubt we will be back!!

The house is beautiful as shown in the photos, everything is very clean, very spacious green areas, the only thing is that the televisions are not smart TVs, Astrid told me to connect my HDMI cable, which I didn't have because I didn't know about it and it couldn't be used on all televisions via bluetooth, otherwise everything else was excellent

Nice stay with spacious and very pleasant pool and garden, the publication says that 12 people can stay although they really fit 10 comfortably.

I cannot describe how beautiful this home is. Easily the best air bnb I have ever stayed in. The pictures truly do not do it justice. The home is in a great part of town, easily walkable to restaurants and stores and feels very quiet and safe. The hosts communicated clearly and quickly. The rules are easy to follow and understand. I have never seen a better value air bnb and I doubt I will ever stay in a place this beautiful again in my life.

I love the layout of the house, the kitchen has enough dishes and utensils, the dining room on the terrace and of course the terrace with the privacy of the rooms, very enjoyable for children and adults day and night, especially because it was cold

We had an excellent stay at the house during the Christmas holidays. We were given all the information we needed to get to and enter the house. Communication with the host was very fast and they answered any questions that arose. The house is amazing and highly recommended for 12 people. The spaces were very well maintained. The pool was heated and everything worked well. We appreciate that they put up a Christmas tree for us to make our family stay even more special. It is an ideal place if you are looking for a place that makes you feel at home with spacious areas that allow you to be with a large number of family or friends without feeling overwhelmed. The warmth of the place and its spaces, thanks to the terraces, make the same place a great experience. The kitchen equipment, towels and sheets are in very good condition. All this makes the stay very pleasant.

The house is comfortable ideal for large family, has several rooms. The house is located in a good spot.

Was the perfect setting for us as it reminded us of home as many of the designs were exactly the same we had at out home. Host Astrid, was awesome and always answered or returned call quickly. Lucy her helper assisted us in keeping the house clean. Very quiet a nights, easy to sleep. Very spacious, perfect for our family of 7 that stayed during the 10 days.. Much appreciated. Wow wow wow. This is easily one of the most incredible Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Photos don’t do this place justice, it is absolutely STUNNING throughout, full of color, art, and natural light. We were greeted by the maid Lucy, who did an amazing job of making the casa spotless for us. Each room was airy and clean, the instructions were easy, and Astrid was extremely flexible with our schedule and checkin/out. We would easily come back here no question for a future stay - and sincerely hope we get to! Thank you for a beautiful experience, truly wonderful.

We rented Casa Matilda for a family event. The house was perfect. Large, spacious, comfortable, with a play area, and fun. It is very close to an area with great restaurants, and it is nice and pleasant for walking. About 12 minutes from Andares (without traffic). Astrid is excellent, always attentive and takes care of you immediately. We thank you very much for your attention. We highly recommend her.

Casa Matilda has to be one of the most beautiful and unique Airb&b's I've stayed it. For starters, the layout of the house is awesome. the house itself is gorgeous and spacious. the natural lighting in the house gives it that extra push to make you feel right at home. I and the guests that stayed with me, couldn't have been happier with our stay. Astrid was very attentive, fast responding and made sure to explain everything we needed to know very well. overall a really great stay that I'd recommend to anyone traveling to Guadalajara.

My stay at Casa Matilda was a truly memorable experience. The combination of a contemporary Mexican architectural design with the personal touch of the hosts made me feel immediately at home. The spaces are spacious, bright and every corner has a unique touch, from the cozy library to the central courtyard where I enjoyed relaxing evenings. It was a pleasure to wake up every morning in a comfortable room and go out to one of the patios to enjoy a coffee while listening to the sound of the piano. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to key areas of Guadalajara such as Minerva and Chapultepec. In addition, the cleaning service is a great plus, always attentive and careful in their work. I highly recommend Casa Matilda not only for its architectural charm, but also for the warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like you are in your own home. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Guadalajara!

Excellent location

Casa Matilda was a beautiful place in a great part of Guadalajara. Our group enjoyed our stay there very much and would not hesitate to recommend. The inner courtyard, plants and patio are even better than pictured. It did not disappoint.

Everything about this place was amazing. First off, the check-in process was easy and quick. The host communicated quickly and clearly. The location is great too. It's located in a nice part of town and we felt very safe. There are lots of restaurants nearby that are walking distance or a quick Uber. The house itself is better than the photos. Seriously. We were blown away when we walked in. I would book this house again!

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous, spacious, and tranquil home. Astrid and co, were easy to work with and made things very easy with both English & Spanish communications. The home had everything that we needed and the neighborhood provides safe and lovely options for food and drink. It was 30 mins from the airport. The courtyard, water feature, and hammock make the place feel so special, luxurious, and authentic. We can’t wait to return to Guadalajara and will definitely book this Casa Matilda again anytime.

Casa Matilda was beautiful! Truly a stunning place. Everything was perfect and just as described. The area is safe and surrounded by everything you may need. The only thing that we weren’t expecting was the cleaning person to be there everyday (which I don’t remember it being mentioned anywhere prior to us getting there and Natalia telling us about it). The house is beautiful. It is spacious, with lots of light, and does not need air conditioning because it is very cool. Natalia was super attentive to everyone, and the energy was very pleasant. There was room for everyone, three different rooms upstairs and downstairs, and Lucy, who works at the house, was very nice and helped us with the cleaning. We want to come back very soon!

A hidden gym in GDL. What a beauty of a house. Well designed to flow and connect the entire house together. Around the corner from a 7/11 and tacos. Hosts were absolutely amazing and messaged us everyday to see if we were okay and if we needed anything. Definitely book here !

This home is a gem. A true find in Guadalajara. The location is fantastic and within walking distance of great restaurants and beautiful parks. At night you can hear the birds and listen to the water run from the fountain. Natalia was very responsive, helpful and made every effort to make us feel welcome. It is truly magical and we would stay again in an instant.
